Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 10 - Friday - July 16, 2021

Tiffany and Claire had a lengthy late night strategy session using the chessboard. Derek X joined them and they pretty much figured out the various alliances and how Frenchie was in the middle of most of them. He wandered by at one point and if he didn't know for sure that's what they were doing, he certainly suspected. Tiffany said she doesn't want to be too pushy with Kyland about his noms, though prior to the chess talk she did strongly hint to Kyland that Frenchie's gotta go.

Feeds went to adoptable anipals around 10.40am for the Wildcard player picks and comp, and returned at 2.52pm. Brent, Frenchie, SarahB played for Wildcard and SarahB not only won, "she KILLED it!" per Britini. It was a color explosion comp with color-related questions or making/guessing color combinations, and they didn't know if they were right or wrong until they got splattered for being wrong. The other players knew who got splattered as they went. SarahB turned down the safety rather than switching teams. Britini said that was a wise choice and she'd have done the same. Reminder, we know but Brittini doesn't, SarahB is the only person Kyland has promised safety to.

Kyland held meetings with each team except Jokers, and then did his rapid-fire one-on-ones, five minutes each, timed, and it was glorious. SarahB, Alyssa, Derek X, Christian, Hannah, Xavier, Brent, Claire all drove that proverbial bus over Frenchie and then backed up to do it again. When pressed by Kyland if anything dramatic or unusual had happened recently, Brent said Frenchie stormed out of a room, pointed to Whitney and said "I'm not working with the other side of the house!" and he told Brent "fuck the (S)laughterhouse, I'm out." Tiffany was the last meeting we saw, and Kyland told her "I've done so good at not saying anything" [about his plans]. She suggested Kyland weaken Frenchie by putting up Brent and Whitney, who she blamed the hinky votes on, and then put up Frenchie as renom if needed. She was the only one to suggest Frenchie not go on the block today, thus covering her own bases on all sides, including Frenchie's. She also told Kyland the Queens and Kings and Derek X should band together.

Kyland nominated Britini and Frenchie. Feeds came back to Britini sobbing and almost hysterical, and Frenchie comforting her, and Azah crying elsewhere. Frenchie told Britini repeatedly "keep the focus on me and you lay low, okay?" Azah may be an empathetic crier, caught in the emotional crossfire, also two of her teamies just went on the block. Britini continued crying, and Frenchie told her "you know how people say when they break up 'it's not you, it's me'? This time it really is me," and he later told her, with Azah and Whitney present, "there's gonna be fireworks, you just sit there and watch the show.. if I'm going, I'm going with a bang." Claire and Tiffany met with Kyland to assure him it's all good, he did fine, and he said everyone gave him Frenchie's name except Britini. Tiffany acknowledged Britini was upset, but "she had to make herself cry, I never saw anybody squeeze tears outta their eyes like that before in my life."

Frenchie visited HOH and told Kyland he wasn't mad, if he goes he goes home to his kids, they hugged, Kyland choked up, and he said "if [Britini]'s the target, reverse it to me," and he said if he wins veto he'll use it on her. He'd also told Britini he'd do that. He also said the drama earlier today - that we didn't see - was personal, not game. Kyland said he was meeting with Derek F when BB called him for noms, and Frenchie's appointment was next. Wow, BB really did THAT.

Kyland held more one-on-ones and they were a lot lengthier than before noms. He told Britini that everyone had given him Frenchie's name but her, and that was his Reason for putting her up, plus he'd heard Britini was running the other side of the house. (Nevermind half of them don't even know she's there.) Frenchie continued making rounds, saying he might get a save from production or a viewer vote, and other delusions. He said his earlier "fireworks" threat was a joke, that he was going to announce and then go around and say nice things to and about everyone "for TV." In the middle of all that, there was a short audio leak of him in Diary, saying "every single one of them are a complete [inaudible]" - maybe fool or failure.

Meetings and whispery convos raged on, like they do. Christian popped his head into Have-not to announce dinner was almost ready - yep, Have-not. Hannah called him a dick for that. Hannah roasted Frenchie, retelling his dramatics and lies, and his hypocrisy about announcing he didn't want the first boot to be a POC and then putting up Alyssa and Kyland. She said he was "using allyship as gameplay" and compared him to Tyler for that. Derek F told Kyland that Frenchie wanted all the minority people to make it, and for Kyland to keep that in the back of his mind. He also said he trusts Kyland because they have a deeper bond, and said Frenchie isn't part of Cookout but wants to support it. Britini gave herself/us a lengthy talk, ranging through all the emotions plus peptalk, and said she wants to win veto but she doesn't want Frenchie to go home.

Frenchie kept up his antics, acting like he didn't care anymore, grandstanding that he wanted to go on the block anyway, Kyland can't beat him at veto, he hoped it's a wall comp (for a veto?!), and blah blah blah. He later spilled one version of the alliance roster to Britini, Claire, Tiffany, and said "it's called (S)laughterhouse." Britini said "that's what it's called, they took your name?" You couldn't make it up. Frenchie later told Derek F and Xavier that he blew up everyone except the two of them. Brent, Hannah, Alyssa, SarahB held a lengthy anti-Frenchie meeting in the bathroom, detailing all his lines, lies, ridiculous claims, boasts, and errors. It was like they were reading tweets. They said they'd like to just get up and walk out if/when he holds his "fireworks" house meeting. Frenchie got Britini onboard hoping for a power or production save, and she started asking us to save them, hashtag them, and the like.

Frenchie continued to spiral and stew and spew, he threatened to quit, and he rattled off his big (S)laughterhouse reveal to SarahB, who already knew about it. Christian, Xavier, Claire, Tiffany had a committee to make Alyssa a birthday cake - I'm not sure which of them were baking and which were coaching. A big noisy group game of Among Us broke out in the living room. Frenchie had been begging to get into Diary and he was finally called shortly before midnight. That was interesting timing, as the rest of them gathered a few minutes later to sing Happy Birthday to Alyssa, and present her cake and gift bag of miscellaneous toiletries and pantry items. I don't know when or who dressed her up in toilet paper. There was a loud episode of The Big Blue Couch, in which Azah birthed something.

Day 9 - Thursday - July 15, 2021

Barring any last minute shenanigans, it seems Travis will still be the first boot. Tonight's HOH is as pivotal as some late season weeks. Depending who wins, it could set up the course of the season since they're more or less splitting into two big groups, although there are so many interwoven smaller alliances among the big ones, potentially anything could happen.

Claire led a morning yoga class with several eager students, and Britini reported various rumors she's heard to Derek F. He said he's not one to set up final two deals or even start gaming hard this early, and she seemed to believe that. But he's got at least one F2, with Frenchie, and he's a charter member of both (S)laughterhouse and Cookout. That double-dip could eventually be a problem for him (it's already a problem for many out here).

Frenchie told Travis he's toast, so I don't think there will be any last minute flips since Frenchie would be the only one likely to try. Frenchie also approached Claire to continue their convo from yesterday. He reiterated that her name was being thrown around, likely hoping to cause suspicion and friction (it's what he does). She said she wants to win HOH to gather more info from everyone, and said she wouldn't go after him if she does win.

Both the narrator's recap and Julie threw a lot of shade to us about Frenchie and his disastrous HOH. Recaps included Travis Diary adding "Head of Householdship," noun, to our BB lexicon, and they introduced (S)laughterhouse and French Kisses by name to viewers. They showed Kyland's lapdance for his 30th, and Tiffany telling Travis she could offer him a shield if he's here next week, which set up the story for her hinky vote, but they didn't show Frenchie asking for it and Tiffany agreeing. They also didn't show Derek F planning his hinky and soliciting others.

Both nominees did shoutouts, with Alyssa adding her swimsuit URL, and Travis took off his shirt for his speech and said his stained bedsheets were from pranks. He was evicted 11-2, with a minor nip slip from Whitney, and the two hinkies we were expecting from Tiffany and Derek F. Travis told Julie he'd heard "the white guy with abs" is usually targeted early (oh?), and she asked him about trying to blow up Frenchie's game before the show. We'll probably see that on Sunday.

The HOH comp was Pool Sharks, where they had to try to knock a ball into a shark's mouth, each of them from a different numbered spot, with #1 the easiest and #30 the hardest. Hamsters selected their preferred starting spot on a keypad and selected again if someone already had that spot. (Those selections were not shown.) The winner was the highest numbered spot to sink the ball, with no bank shots.

Shots, spots and results in order were: Alyssa #15 made it; Brent #16 made it; Hannah #17 missed; Azah #18 missed; Xavier #19 missed; Christian #20 missed; Tiffany #21 missed; Whitney #22 missed; Claire #23 missed; Kyland #24 made it; Britini #25 missed; Derek F #26 missed; SarahB #27 missed; Derek X #28 missed. So Kyland won the HOH, giving his remaining fellow Queens Claire and Tiffany safety for the week. However, Julie told us the winner of this week's Wildcard comp "will have to switch teams if they want safety." We'll find out more about that and the results on feeds tomorrow. There were technical difficulties before the comp, leading to an unscheduled commercial break.

Feeds were down until after the west coast airing (BOO) plus eight more minutes, and came back to chaos (YAY). Tiffany and Azah were upset, with Tiffany in tears, but later she said she was fake crying to get Azah time. Something blew up while feeds were down, involving Frenchie (surprise), and hamsters were scrambling about who cast the two hinky votes. Brent said he thought Frenchie was one(!) but Alyssa explained to him Frenchie didn't vote.

Kyland said his potential noms were Britini, Derek X, and one other he didn't name. He told SarahB he'll hold one on ones anyway, and watch to see who people talked to afterwards. Derek X saved him with veto but recall Frenchie wanted him blamed for one of the hinkies, and maybe that happened. Kyland offered his HOH bed to teamies Claire and Tiffany, and said he'd sleep on the couch. Team Aces are the new Have-nots. It sounded like Whitney and Brent volunteered them, without asking Hannah and Derek X. Team Jokers decided Frenchie would play Wildcard for them. Alyssa said Team Kings would probably do a random draw unless Xavier wants to play, and Team Aces will also do a draw. They don't yet know about the team switch thing. Ants were discovered in the bathroom.

Frenchie's fall from HOH and residual HOH-itis took the usual toll, as he sulked and grumped that he might get backdoored, and he said he was looking forward to just chatting and getting to know people this week, since he couldn't do that last week. Boo hoo. Alyssa was understandably paranoid about her two votes and made Christian pinkyswear when he (repeatedly) said he wasn't one of them. He told her about the (S)laughterhouse, and the Butchers, complete with Frenchie's analogy "the butchers control the slaughterhouse." Alyssa said it was dumb and Christian said he didn't come up with it. He told her she's probably the only non-Butcher that knows about that part. They griped a lot about Frenchie but agreed they should probably partner up with him and Whitney.

Brent said he wants a Diary do-over because he sounded like an idiot saying he thought Frenchie was one of the votes. Hannah suggested the Wildcard comp might have different repercussions every week "because it's Wildcard" - we already knew she's smart. My guess is Week 1 positive, Week 2 risk to winner, Risk 3 risk to winner's team, Week 4 risk to everyone. We'll see.

Kyland got his room around 11.45pm. He didn't shout when he came out of Diary to ask who wants to see, which was really refreshing. Everyone waited a few extra minutes on the balcony because Derek F missed the call (no-shouting problems) and he had to use the facilities. Kyland got sunglasses, hair and skin products, ice cream, NEO drinks, the usual candy, cookies, snacks, chips, and his music was the Hamilton soundtrack. His letter was from his mom but he was too emotional to read it so Tiffany did the honors, beautifully. Kyland said he was going to meet with his team, and with Frenchie (to learn HOH tips - probably Frenchie's idea to ensure an early, private audience), and he'd hold one-on-ones with everyone at some point. Derek X lingered after everyone left, evidence that he is indeed learning how to play BB. Later Kyland said he had a hard time not promising him safety, but he didn't want to make promises he might have to break later.

Britini freaked out about the bathroom ants. Tiffany blamed Frenchie for her hinky vote to Claire and SarahB, and said if they aren't careful it'll be another Frenchie HOH week, adding they need to tell Kyland not to make any promises. Note, Kyland already promised SarahB she'd be safe.
