Daily Feeds RecapsDay 68 - Sunday 8/25/19Pie signal came at 10.33am for another "surprise" smashing, while many were still lolling around in bed. Nicole, Jessica, Cliff hid out in the pantry for awhile, pies in hand, waiting for hamsters to go in for battery changes, but none did. Eventually Cliff went to wait outside the pantry, and Nick finally showed up for his batteries and Jessica glanced a pie off him. Cliff and Nicole got each other, with Nicole getting the worst of it by a lot. Nick made his pitch to Holly, starting off by saying he was the Prankster. She already knew but feigned surprise, saying "you fucker." Nick said if Jackson veto's Christie, he'd put up whoever Holly wants, he'll throw as many HOHs as she wants until final four, never put her up and never vote against her. Along the way, amid all the promises and all the shmoozing, Nick said she and Jackson "are like Matt and Raven - no offense." (Reminder, Nick bashed Matt hard pre-season, and all season.. keep popping that popcorn.)Afterwards, Jackson told Holly that Nick had told Christie his entire pitch. Holly did not like that. They went back and forth for awhile, and Holly repeated she was annoyed at Christie acting like being on the block fulfilled her part of last week's deal. They agreed they needed to again solidify their final four with Cliff and Nicole, and tell them about Nick's pitch. They also watched the spyscreen and said Tommy wasn't washing his hands. Both insisted they always wash theirs, with Jackson adding he makes sure the feeds see it. (A certain pantry gif says otherwise.) Holly said Cliff didn't want to use the words "final four" but they didn't seem to see that as a potential red flag. They brought up Cliff but not Nicole, and told him about Nick's power and his pitch. Cliff said "I like the guy but I'm ready to cut him loose" and they agreed. Keep it in pencil. (Reminder, Nick told Nicole he's the Prankster but nobody else knows she knows.) Meanwhile Nick told Tommy about his pitch and Tommy went up to HOH, but the topic went to chit-chat rather than anything meaty until Cliff left. Tommy then told Holly and Jackson he'd told Nick he'd promised Christie his vote, and that Nick admitted he was the Prankster "just now" (actually last night). They all expressed surprise that Nick had told four people, Tommy said he'd also told Nicole, Holly and Jackson joked "everyone knows but Jessica," and Tommy added "I don't know if Cliff knows." (Holly and Jackson are sloppy AF.) They again acknowledged that Tommy was in a tough spot if noms don't change, and Holly once again said Nick's been her target all along, Tommy gave his word, and that's BB. These are the moments that will flash through their heads when Julie tells them about Tommy and Christie after they vote on finale, if it doesn't come out before then. Meanwhile Jessica and Nicole had an extended convo about the state of the game, like detached observers. They both see a lot of what's going on and they tend to discuss it like a couple of podcasters or BB pals on Twitter. Nicole was next to HOH, and she acted like she didn't already know Nick was Prankster when they told her and relayed his pitch. They too reiterated the official/unofficial final four with Cliff, and Holly repeated "everyone's been going after minnows and she wanted to get out a shark." Just at the point when Nicole might have had to say she'd already promised Nick her vote, she changed lanes and started crying, saying she'd felt bad for all the targets and was afraid that hanging out with them each week was putting a target on herself. Holly and Jackson both consoled her, praised her empathy and compassion, and assured her just because she was hanging out with Nick didn't mean they'd lose faith in her loyalty. So while I believe her tears and her annoyance at herself about them were both genuine, the timing definitely worked out well for her. Later Holly asked Jackson if he worried that Nicole didn't shake their hands at that moment because she got emotional? He said "no, she's just delicate." Holly agreed and said "she really is, Nicole is Bambi." Cliff and Jessica arrived, making the trio in HOH think they'd missed a pie signal, but instead Cliff was showing off his new bra as fitted by Jessica, in response to his zing. Then it was Christie's turn in HOH, and immediately it came out that Nick had told her he had the power and had put her up. Holly and Jackson again laughed and said everyone knows but Jessica. Unlike Tommy, Christie asked about Cliff, and both Holly and Jackson backtracked and lied that they didn't know if Cliff knew or not. After that I had to check out - apologies, but Christie's too predictable, too repetitive, and too exhausting, and I'm saving up for Hell Week with her versus Nick on the block. Holly snapped after a "do not talk about your Diary Room sessions" announcement, saying "then stop fucking telling me what to say, if you would just let me say what I want to say in there, I wouldn't bitch about it out here." Later Christie told Cliff that Nick's the Prankster and put her up. Cliff said that's what he figured (heh), and Christie said he's working to get Jackson to use his veto so Christie goes. A quiet-ish afternoon got even quieter when all four feeds went to Nicole silently reading her Bible for several extended periods. Holly had been griping a lot about her and Jackson's zings, and how such things could affect people's real lives, and she "comes from a strict, conservative family" etc. (Nevermind her having sex on camera multiple times, sometimes with others in the room, but that's none of my business.) Nick started explaining "the other layer" to her "old buzzard" zing to anyone who'd listen, saying buzzards are scavengers that get "other birds' leftovers." Buzzards are usually birds of prey, as opposed to vultures, but they don't have Google in there so facts are irrelevant. Everyone started spinning about that, Holly got more perturbed, and Jessica proved once again she's a BB savant when she said "everything that is said here in this house can and will be used against us.. it is exactly why I don't say shit that I don't want to be portrayed for." Buzzardgate carried on and pretty soon any mention of Zingbot sent us to fishies. That meant a lot of fishies during family dinner and unscheduled gratitude circle and table banging, as of course their zings came up during gratitude circle. (I don't think anyone minded fishies for table banging though.) They pressured Nicole again to switch from Android to iPhone so she could group chat with them all, and Holly asked if they'd allow Kat into the group because she'd send too many memes. Cleaning up after dinner, Christie found the playdough peni and asked Holly if she should throw it away or what. They agreed "that would be weird" so it stayed in the kitchen.. a fitting metaphor for the season, really. Jackson told Jessica that Nick was the Prankster, so now everyone knows, and he told her he wasn't going to use his veto. Holly and Tommy planned to make a skit of her song about everyone for the Snapchat goggles, with dancing, and Nick. Snapchat goggles came out but Holly wanted to do her and Tommy's song (and dance) about everyone, so they started to practice that in HOH with Nick. She said she'd gotten "approval" for that, along with being "updated about what her zing meant" -cut to fishies. (It's possible they told her they hadn't intended to say she was scavenging someone else's leftovers. It's also possible "old buzzard" will be voiced over with something else come Wednesday). They had nacho parts delivered from Pop and they were polite with their disappointment that it wasn't booze. Then came a pie signal at 10.24pm that had no specific directions other than "pies in faces" and another ongoing pie war was underway. Nick and Tommy hid out in HOH while Nicole hollered and taunted them; Jackson dropped a pie from above; Cliff, Nicole, Nick destroyed each other and the pantry; Nick, Tommy, Cliff, Nicole destroyed each other and the kitchen including a mayo pie; Nick, Jackson, Nicole destroyed each other and Tommy and the bathroom including a mayo pie; and Jackson posed but dodged for the Snapchat goggles, but Nicole got him anyway and destroyed the kitchen. Massive cleaning happened from there plus much griping about it, and rehearsals carried on upstairs. Finally a house meeting was held to discuss future pie etiquette due to the mess and the stink, and then Tommy, Nicole, Nick finally did their song and dance. Nachos never happened. Nicole really got into pie wars last night and tonight, but worried about some who seemed annoyed by it all, especially the cleanup. She then pretended to be hurt about something Tommy had said about pie-ruined clothes, but even with Jackson, Jessica, Cliff, Christie helping to push the story by saying she was upset and crying and wanting to go to Diary, Tommy didn't rise to the bait. Another pie signal came at 12.45am with directions for one of the three to smash the HOH. Nicole did the honors, and well, and then left again so her co-conspirators could keep talking about how upset she was. Eventually Nicole returned to the yard to tell Tommy and Nick she was playing and wasn't upset after all. Tommy and Nicole gametalked some, and Tommy told her he'd promised his vote to Christie. Cliff wrapped up his day by hiding a pie shell and jar of mayo in Tommy's bed. Christie started working on Jessica for her vote, and told her Nick was the Prankster. Like everyone else, Jessica acted like she didn't already know. I'm really sorry about these novella length entries lately, Hamsterwatchers. Jackson won't use his veto so we're heading into Hell Week with Christie and Nick on the block, and I don't think I'll be able to take much of that so I'm making up for it ahead of time? Or something. Thank you as always for visiting the site! You guys are the reason for my season ♥ Get the feeds to see it all unfold live and/or with flashback!
