Cedric had several of them screaming from a strip club story. Quinn suggested to Brooklyn they rattle Tucker before the next AI Arena by telling him Rubina would be evicted if she and Makensy are the final noms. Brooklyn volunteered to do that telling, which of course would depend on the veto outcome. Joseph dropped some anti-Quinn seeds here and there in his rounds, and he came up with an elaborate plan to tell people Tucker asked him (Joseph) to use veto on him (Tucker) if he (Joseph) wins it, but Joseph later backtracked that. Chelsie told us she thought Joseph, Leah, Makensy, Rubina, Tucker have no idea of what's going on in there. There was further messiness after Rubina apparently had a Diary session about her and Tucker, and a lot of discussion about that followed. She, Kimo, T'kor hatched a pitch for Quinn to secretly work with Tucker again, but Quinn said nah. Joseph and Quinn had another superfan flashback convo, about alliance names among other things. Joseph said he thought Santa Monica Van Boys was the best alliance name of the past and as a fellow BB5 fan, I appreciated hearing that. Veto players were drawn this morning, and Brooklyn and Joseph will play again with Quinn's nominees plus Angela, and Rubina to host. Apparently Tucker picked Joseph with a Houseguest Choice. Brooklyn told Chelsie she won't use it if she wins. Angela asked Kimo and T'kor who he thought Quinn might put up as renom, and they said they didn't know. And she acknowledged to them she has it good this week, with all the perks of HOH but not having to make any enemies. Feeds went to adoptable anipals for the comp around noon and returned three hours later to the news that Tucker won again. The comp was timed and played in head-to-head heats, and sounded like it involved cards or tiles with prior season winners, along with making or memorizing number sequences. It was titled Binary Bridge, and players and observers said it was fun to both play and watch, and several said Rubina did a good job hosting. Angela gave one of her patented expressions when they were all talking at once about the comp after coming in from it. Tucker had previously said he'll use it on himself if he won, but Chelsie excitedly told us she and Brooklyn planned to tell him Rubina would take his place if he does. (I'm sure Tucker wouldn't like that, but I don't think it would be enough to get him not to use it again. I don't think he's playing Rubina, but I do think her feelings for him are stronger than his for her, at this point.) Joseph told Quinn he had a decision to make now and Quinn said he already had, and said he'd need to ask Tucker if he plans to use it. Shortly after, Quinn said "this blows ass" to himself/us. Tucker then told Quinn he was a good sport, unlike some of them, and both said they're enjoying their feud with each other. Another previously hatched scheme to let Quinn know how much Leah talks about him also came up again, as a means to keep Rubina safe. And a lot of anti-Makensy comments popped up, led mostly by Chelsie. Tucker told Makensy that Cam's out to get him, and he said Cam and Quinn are super tight. Tucker also peptalked her for AI Arena, and said he'd be voting to evict Cedric and keep her. Quinn and Cedric talked about holding a Collective meeting tomorrow or tomorrow night to see what everyone thought about suggesting Rubina as renom. Afterwards, Cedric played beach ball by himself and looked like he was wondering why he'd been so quick to volunteer to go on the block. Others continued to talk-talk-talk, both casually and game, but nothing really jumped out to me as being anything pertinent so apologies for glossing over most of it. Anyway, if anything is pertinent, it'll come up again. Quinn told Joseph he wants to warn Rubina she'll be the renom, and assure her she's just a pawn. Meanwhile, Chelsie played dumb to Rubina and T'kor by saying she hadn't heard Rubina's name "from the source" and didn't know why she'd even be an option. Tucker, laughing, suggested to Makensy (with Leah present) he could use his veto on her and then take on Cedric in AI Arena, but he'd want to get some dirt from her in exchange. Makensy said no one tells her anything (true). After talking about meeting with Quinn for what felt like days, Kimo and T'kor finally sat down with him at the hammock. I thought they wanted to make a case so Rubina wouldn't go up as renom, but when Quinn opened by saying he was planning just that, they didn't pipe up. It was awkward all around as Quinn talked on and on while T'kor said "mm-hmm" and Kimo loudly slurped his ramen. Quinn told them about the plan to threaten Tucker by saying Rubina would go up if he veto'd himself again, saying it was Brooklyn's idea, but that one was apparently tossed. And Quinn said he wants to "mount an attack" with the three of them the soldiers, plus Rubina, and bring in Joseph "because he's an opportunist" and Leah "in the same way the Mafia grabbed Bowie Jane." Again no real response from Kimo or T'kor, and eventually Cam joined so the conversation shifted a bit. Meanwhile Tucker told Angela and Rubina he'd told Makensy he'd use his veto on her so he could go against Cedric in AI Arena and they said he better not do that, and Tucker said he wasn't going to. Angela told Rubina to just approach Quinn and ask if he's putting her up. Finally, a reasonable suggestion among all the psst-pssting paranoia and inaction. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. Day 27 - Sunday - August 11, 2024Morning started with tales of Quinn's latest sleeptalking/walking, along with T'kor and Kimo wondering and worrying about Quinn's backyard meeting last night and Cedric/Tucker talking this morning. The chances of them doing anything about any of that are slim. Rubina continued to stress about being the probable renom, and Quinn told Joseph he'll tell her later that she is going up. The chances of her doing anything about that are also slim. Angela talked to Kimo about forming a big group to work together and protect each other going forward. Kimo agreed with most of her statements, like he does. Tucker fed the fishies and greeted them all by name, before going outside to punch his bag. A number of others also worked out this morning, and most of them lazed around the pool in the afternoon. They were told the yard would close early this week, so endurance comp speculation kicked off in there and out here.Quinn finally told Rubina she'll probably go up as renom tomorrow, saying he didn't have many options and her "proximity to Tucker" made her an obvious choice. She said "okay, okay, it's fine" but it clearly wasn't - is it ever? Brooklyn, Kimo, T'kor then gathered around Rubina, who said it's fine, she gets it, it's her own fault (regarding Quinn's Reason being her proximity to Tucker), and she said she'll still be here next week. Prior to that Quinn told several Collectives that as a viewer, it's probably fun watching him versus Tucker, but the reality wasn't so fun for him. Rubina continued to get peptalks, and she peptalked herself as well, saying "sassy Rubina about to come out!" (I would like to see it.) Tucker continued spreading the story that he might use his veto on Makensy so he could battle Cedric in AI Arena. It became hard to tell if he was still saying that as a goof, or if he was starting to mean it. Angela was appalled when she started thinking he meant it, and told him "don't do that!" With breaking up a duo being the nomination Reason again, Angela told Kimo and T'kor that yes, everyone sees they're together all the time, but nobody feels like they're always plotting together. (Hello, that's all they do!) @MatthewJayNY said this pic looks like they're waiting at the principal's office, and it's true. And mom had to take time off work to hear what they did wrong. Angela also told them she heard Quinn and Joseph plotting together for several minutes the other night, and that she hears a lot from a lot of people every night. Quinn tried to get Tucker to confirm if he's using his veto, but Tucker didn't commit either way. Tucker then told Cam he knows he's working with Quinn along with Joseph and Leah. Cam denied that, Tucker reminded him he'd said he didn't want to lie, and Cam should come over to Tucker's side so they could take out Quinn because he's a "snake in the grass," but Cam didn't commit either way. Kimo and T'kor had another marathon whisper session planning things they probably won't do. While the Deep Fake HOH episode was on, they got a booze delivery plus supplies for Angela's birthday. The only catch is her birthday is in six days, on the 17th. (Screencap by @BBLiveUpdaters.) It should be noted, the roast-type jokes Quinn said he was going to have AI Angela say were not included when she announced his noms from the hologram box. And there were a lot of shockfaces that looked more or less genuine, if you didn't know they weren't. Returning to feeds after the show, hamsters were loud and sippy, and playing Mafia again. Once again, so many of them put way more energy and personality into playing these group games than they do playing the real game they're in. Quinn told Joseph that Tucker told him he's not using his veto because he wanted to "finish the job" with Cedric. And Quinn said not using veto on himself twice would cement his place his BB lore (true, if he survives again), and that it'd be great on his resumé for this season. T'kor told Rubina that Makensy would probably go if it's her versus Cedric on Thursday, and she peptalked Rubina some more to fight if she does end up on the block. After a long day of will he or won't he, Tucker told Angela he got away with not saving himself once, but lightning doesn't strike twice, and he's safe now. He eventually specified that he will be using his veto on himself tomorrow like a normal hamster, and Rubina will hit the block in his place. He's also convinced this week will be a wall comp that he'll win, and said he'll expose Quinn, again, along with Cam, and he said he'd nominate Quinn, Cam, and Leah. He and Angela compared some notes about convos each has overheard, including Tucker saying Quinn was head over heels about Leah but she didn't like him that way at all. And they talked about working together officially. They hugged, several times, and Angela said the two of them as a team would be "the most ironic, most iconic thing." Tucker then told Rubina the bad news, and she took it well. He told her she'll be safe even if it's a tie vote because Angela owes him and would break a tie how he wants. He also said any sparks between them would have to wait til later so they could both concentrate on their games and not be targeted as a showmance. Elsewhere, Quinn plotted out a new plan of attack to Kimo and T'kor. I didn't listen to that to catch the details, but it'll either be changed or talked about some more.
