Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 40 - Sunday - August 14, 2022

Indy started the day in good spirits, despite being woken up to do a performance at some point in the night, but she was a little annoyed at not being able to work out. I don't think any of her performances have been on feeds so there's not much interest out here, and costumes for Taylor, Joseph, Terrance still hadn't arrived by this morning. That's unusual, but they don't need clips of those til the Wednesday show so there's still plenty of time. Kyle told Michael and Brittany last night if Alyssa was an agreed-upon target that was fine with him as he was too distracted by her, but he said that about sometime in the future - he didn't know they'd agreed on booting her this week. Michael gave him a warning this morning about that, and Kyle said it sounded like "petty reasons" (feeds switched to that convo after Michael stated the reasons). Kyle then asked Joseph how they went from Terrance to Indy to Alyssa, and Joseph kicked off a monologue about it.

Meanwhile Taylor told us she gets "a little blinded by revenge" but she wants to take this shot since Alyssa has blundered a lot, but added she likes her and would like to be friends after this. Kyle apologized to Indy for "being weird" but indicated he'll still be using his veto on her. Joseph reported to Taylor who suggested putting up Jasmine, since she'd heard about Jasmine talking about Taylor's Reason to keep her safe that they're both Black women, and Jasmine mocked that and said she "doesn't see color." Taylor and Joseph agreed this probably wasn't the time and they'd need additional Reason(s) to put up Jasmine this week. Michael joined and more discussion ensued, with Michael dropping subtle seed bombs to further the Joseph vs Kyle wedge. And Michael stayed in HOH when Alyssa and Jasmine joined for general chat and girl talk.

Kyle dropped a hint or two about the Pound by pointing out to Michael that he and Brittany, and then Taylor, were the last brought in to Leftovers. That's not the kind of thing Michael won't notice. Alyssa then dropped a bomb when she told Turner she and Kyle did the sexy yesterday/last night in Have-not "on a pool floatie, in front of America." She said she didn't know if things would be weird with Kyle now, and she also mentioned Kyle had told her he'd had two former partners, and of course she asked Turner not to say anything to anyone. Turner almost immediately said to Kyle "I know I'm not supposed to know this but I know you guys fucked." Of course Kyle asked Turner not to tell anyone else. So that tally item has now launched, and Kyle's tricky decision is that much more complicated. Turner reported to Monte "those two have gotten very close lately, in multiple ways."

Cue the next scandal on the agenda: Jasmine mentioned she asked Diary for a balloon for her birthday, and said she wanted to let it go in the backyard. Turner said it would eventually pop, a bird could eat it and die, and "do we want to do that?" Jasmine glared, Turner walked away, and Jasmine stomped off to the hammock. Joseph gave her a little time then approached to ask if she wanted to be alone, and Jasmine said "you laughed too, so.." He said he wasn't laughing, he'd covered his mouth because it was so awkward for everyone, adding "you know me better than that." Jasmine said "it was really disrespectful." Joseph shmoozed her and calmed her down some, saying he was sure Turner didn't mean it as disrespecting her father (apparently she'd said previously she wanted to release a balloon since they shared the same birthday, and this would be her first without him.) Turner reported to Alyssa, adding he hadn't thought about the father part at the time and could understand her point of view, but if it had come from anyone else it probably wouldn't be a big deal. (Never mind her birthday is Wednesday and they are never outside on Wednesdays.)

Meanwhile Kyle told Brittany and Michael they are "the silent majority" of Leftovers, and Joseph, Taylor, Monte are the alpha personalities, and "very loud." Terranace finally got his outfit - kind of a hippie look I guess, with Birkenstocks, and he had a few of his 182 tatttoos. Jasmine kept retelling about the balloon situation as did Turner, and everyone was buzzing about it. Alyssa told Jasmine that Turner didn't mean to be disrespectful and wanted to apologize, and suggested Jasmine hear it. Turner did then apologize to Jasmine a bit later. She said she appreciated the apology, and they rehashed the incident. (I think something needs to be said here as well about Turner's own childhood stories, which were pretty horrific, and he hasn't made a big deal about it at all. As far as I know, he's only told Monte he grew up in a scary and violent situation.) Alyssa went to see the medic due to back pain after weightlifting earlier. And/or sex on a floatie? Maybe a combo.

There's been ongoing buzz and whispers about the veto and renom, but I dont think a decision will be made til all the Leftovers meet. However, Kyle told Alyssa he won't be using it even though people want and expect him to, and he said Indy will go, and he implored Alyssa not to tell anyone. And he said the two of them should try to distance themselves somewhat tonight and tomorrow. Alyssa saw the medic and it sounded like her back wasn't deemed too bad and should be better in a day or three. Team Ants found a plate of watermelon that had been abandoned in the backyard and Brittany got very perturbed about that. Consensus was Jamine left it unattended, and Brittany went on a mini private rant about Jasmine never cleaning up her own messes or doing dishes. Brittany said she threw the plate away because it got Raid sprayed on it. Indy's performances and Terrance's tats continued to be withheld from feeds. Monte's morning workout claimed another victim as Terrance also took to his bed with back pain.

Kyle finally met with Taylor about the veto. He asked how Alyssa had become the target and Taylor explained her taking cash rather than veto came across as she (Alyssa) showed that she felt her social standing in there was stronger than any power Taylor had as HOH. And she said Alyssa won't show a card like that again so they wouldn't have another Reason to take the shot later. Kyle said he'd checked with people and Michael, Brittany, Turner and himself would prefer Alyssa stay over Indy, and Monte and Joseph were neutral, and he wondered if people were saying different things within Leftovers depending who they're talking to. Taylor said nobody had told her directly either way (not true), but later Taylor said she thought Michael and Brittany were leaning towards booting Alyssa. Kyle also suggested Jasmine for the same Reason, taking a prize instead of veto. Kyle said he'd be willing to take the heat from the other side if he doesn't use his veto tomorrow. They didn't arrive at an agreement either way, and agreed to wait for the full Leftovers meeting later. Michael popped in while they were talking to "look for something" as he often does when anyone's having an important game meeting. Joseph, Monte, Turner joined, and Kyle ran his spiel (shapiel) again, and the consensus sounded like they were okay with leaving noms the same to boot Indy after all, at least until Jasmine joined and everything went on pause again.

They got a booze delivery plus cake mix, more party hats and plates for Jasmine's birthday, plus rainbow sherbeRt (Jasmine's pronunciation). There was no balloon. They agreed to hold onto the booze til Tuesday night. Kyle told Indy the plan was still to take her down(!), but he said there's still "some frustration" about Alyssa taking a prize, along with Alyssa saying "that's enough" about the Kyle/Taylor extended hug after the wall comp. (So much for "taking the heat" for not taking down Indy.) Michael, Brittany, Turner, Monte, Joseph met with Taylor in HOH and Taylor said she's okay with dropping the Alyssa plan as this was the second time Kyle has "agonized over a veto to protect the alliance." And she repeated Kyle's pitch that he'd rather nominate Alyssa himself as HOH than be responsible for her being backdoor'd on someone else's HOH. Michael and Brittany were asked about telling Kyle they wanted Alyssa to stay, but they side-stepped that. For now. Alyssa joined and ended another Leftovers meeting, and Jasmine joined soon after.

Chaos broke out when Indy told Taylor that Kyle told her he was having second thoughts about the veto, and he was afraid Alyssa would go up if he does use it. Taylor wasn't pleased, especially when she learned he'd told her that after they met in HOH. Jasmine joined and appeared shocked, and both she and Indy said Alyssa hadn't expressed any concerns to them about being the renom. Alyssa joined and told Taylor she was sorry for taking a prize and giving Taylor a punishment and "if I could go back I would have left that with you." Leftovers scrambled in various combos from there. Terrance told Joseph that Kyle was "thinking with his dick" and Joseph reported that to Kyle and the others. Michael and Brittany continued to be present but quiet, as they'd been branching out in their double-dipping career like Kyle, but more quietly. All seven Leftovers finally met around the pool table. Kyle reported that Indy said she'd go home rather than jury if she's evicted, and that would be so disrespectful to the game it'd be Reason to boot her. Taylor said it's better to keep anyone who wants to leave, and she said that also applies to Terrance because he's on the block but stayed in bed all day. They tentatively agreed on Kyle not using his veto, but keep it in pencil.

Day 39 - Saturday - August 13, 2022

Veto players were picked: Alyssa (Taylor HG Choice), Jasmine, Kyle, and Turner will host. Joseph did a powerwhiper to Brittany and Monte in the pantry, still willing (and still wanting) to go up as renom against Indy. Alyssa and Kyle went right to HOH, followed by Indy, and later Joseph who reported Monte had been stressed and hadn't been talking to Joseph much anymore. Reminder, Convenience Store side still believes Monte is Taylor's target. Taylor told Indy and Alyssa she'd throw it to them if it comes down to those three, and said she loves it when people take themselves off the block. Terrance, who's been getting saltier by the minute, griped to Monte about Alyssa and Kyle heading up to HOH, and he later griped to Joseph. Turner and Michael griped about Jasmine and wondered if they could get all the Leftovers to get Taylor to boot her out. Later, they told Kyle he wouldn't have to use veto on Indy if he wins, after he said he wouldn't really want to. Jasmine was mostly hoping she wouldn't get a costume or punishment for her birthday week. So in short, a whispery mess with fluid plans and conflicting agendas all around.

Joseph continued to push to be the renom, and several pushed Taylor to rethink her refusal to put Jasmine up and out. She may have finally relented a bit. Joseph said about Convenience Store "they're not even in their Chapter 2.. it reminds me of Finding Nemo, when the sharks sniff the blood." Alyssa and Kyle said they'd give Jasmine a costume/punishment if it was that veto, and Jasmine saying no costume/punishment was all she cared about today also annoyed Michael and Brittany. Those two continued theorizing about who would be best to drag to the end that they could beat in the final comps. Kyle asked Alyssa if she'd asked Taylor yet if they could use her shower, and Alyssa said she hadn't.

Feeds went to adoptable anipals around 12.30pm for the veto comp and returned at 3.45pm. The comp involved bouncing a ball for points, and it was pass the prizes: Kyle won the veto; Taylor will be tethered to Joseph 48 hours; Alyssa got $5,000; Jasmine got a London trip; Terrance will get 182 temporay tattoos (Ink 182); and Indy got Punkaroo: she'll get a punkitard outfit and has to play concerts whenever she gets a signal, for a week. Apparently Jasmine gave up the veto to take the trip, and she asked if London is out of the country? She was told yes, then said she's never been out of the country and wondered what to see in London as if she were going there tomorrow. Kyle's about the only player who might have left noms the same, but just after they got back Taylor and Joseph said something to him about using it on Terrance, then Joseph would go up against Indy. It's a very long time til veto meeting Monday and they'll probably waffle the whole time.

That waffling began immediately. The plan to replace Terrance with Joseph began losing a little steam, partially because Joseph will be tethered to Taylor until veto meeting and wouldn't be able to double-dip with the other side to set things up. Kyle said he was okay not using veto at all, and then said he'll tell Indy he's using it on her, and he'll tell Terrance he hasn't decided yet. Most of the Leftovers cycled through options of not using it versus putting up Joseph, or Jasmine or even Alyssa. Eventually the Joseph plan was finally put aside (at least for now). They had some laughs comparing stories of Jasmine's various requests of everyone to do things for her, and Kyle said anytime the other side mentions Ameerah they treat her "as if she was a Greek god that died, they're like Ameeeerahhhh." Joseph pointed out Terrance was "literally just surviving to ding based off of Daniel and Nicole" and "I don't think Terrance is playing to win anymore, he is another form of Daniel," which was accurate but Terrance was also big on shmoozing as needed. At last count, either the veto won't be used or it will, and Alyssa would go up. As always, keep it in pencil. Michael and Brittany discussed maybe bringing Indy in as a new third to their duo.

Indy got her punkaroo punkitard around 8pm and gave her first concert, which was withheld from feeds, as were the next ones. There was a little stage setup in the living room with drum kit, guitars, amp, and mic stand, and others can pitch in if she or they want. She had a hot pink and black Mohawk headpiece, a hot pink suit with black accents, and white Doc Martens. Not very punk but it was cute on her.

Michael and Brittany had a lengthy hammock chat, again weighing options and cycling through names to go to F3 and F4 with. Kyle joined and said he was "in too deep" with Alyssa, retelling how she'd said "that's enough" when he and Taylor had an extended and emotional hug after they came off the wall. He added that she'd told him she was shaking with anger about it. He'd been canoodling with Alyssa most of the evening so he was behind, and still thought he'd be taking down Terrance for Joseph to go up as renom. Brittany said there's a new plan every time she goes upstairs. The three of them discussed alternate options, would the Leftovers get to F7 or not, and they talked about Alyssa and Jasmine taking prizes in the comp. Kyle said he's aware the more time he spends with Alyssa, the less time he has to develop other relationships, and he asked if others are concerned about him spending so much time with her. Brittany said it's been noted he's often missing from Leftovers meetings, and he said if Alyssa's hanging around the Leftovers he feels obligated to leave so she will too and they can get on with business. He acknowledged he was being selfish about her, and he felt bad about always lying to her. And he said he doesn't feel she's a threat to anyone, and "she seems pretty clueless" about the game dynamics. All three praised Joseph's game and social skills, and Michael dropped a seed bomb saying Joseph had slipped by saying he had a legal analyst job at one point, adding "you don't just fall into that."

Outfits for Taylor, Joseph, Terrance hadn't come along yet by 12.30am, so I will catch those up later.

4th evicted - Day 37

Day 18 to Taylor: 'Don't speak to me until finale. The thing you did to Paloma you're trying to do to [Nicole], you can fuck right off. You don't think America's watching all that? You don't think so? From here on out do not speak to me. I will never forget what you did to Paloma. You think she didn't spiral because of you? You didn't add to that? And now you're trying to do it to Nicole, mind game. Do not speak to Nicole like that ever again.'
Don't get it twisted. First, mental illness doesn't work that way. Second, Terrance first suggested all that, Nicole planted it in Daniel's head, and he's the one who ran rabid with it, with her urging and blessing. They were peas from the same rotten pod and each fed off the other's vileness. I hope I never hear about either of these Toxic Twins again.

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1
Have-not 1

3rd evicted - Day 30

Arrogant, aggressive, entitled, overbearing, self-serving and self-centered. She took over the Taylor hate train when Paloma left and ran it off the rails. She had no redeemable watchable qualities, least of all being entertaining in the slightest. I thought about doing Ozark ratings some week but I lost my Wendy Byrde with her exit. Verbatim quote from this 'superfan': 'They've done something that no other alliance has ever done in this game, in Big Brother history, they created a pact of people to make you think you're safe and say I got your back, and then this [betrayal] happens.' Hello? Welcome to BB.

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1
Have-not 0

2nd evicted - Day 23

She was one of the Taylor haters under Paloma's direction, but she kept it up after Paloma's exit, even after Turner referred to it in his noms speech. That was one reason she went on the block as backdoor target and eventual exit, along with Michael and Kyle stressing her general smarts. She pushed for Pooch to go after he volunteered himself, and then she was blindsided when it was her own turn to meet Julie.

Won: Week 1 Backstage Boss/immunity

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0
Have-not 1

1st evicted - Day 16

Volunteering to go on the block is always dicey, but especially as early as he did before any real trust is formed. And now he knows why. He's lucky Julie was COVID-distanced or she might have whacked him. He put all his eggs in a broken Oasis basket, and he irritated a lot of them with his antics and touchy-feely. When Joseph tried to help and warn him about that, he just got mad at Joseph. Like Paloma, he talked constantly and very, very fast. He seems like he's got a good heart so good luck to him from here.

Won: Week 1 Backstage Pass

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0
Have-not 0

Left the game - Day 8

She drove the game at the start, and she ignited and fueled the unjustified Taylor hate which continued to thrive even after she left. When she started to spiral, her conspiracy theories and delusions would have been comical if they weren't indicative of something more serious going on. It was probably best for her to go when she did, and for me - her nonstop superfast talking was stressing me out.

Won: Nothing

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0
Have-not 0

He was replaced pre-season by Joseph, but you can catch him on America's Got Talent and The Circle.
