Daily Feeds Recaps
Day 23 - Thursday - August 27, 2020
Morning kicked off with a switching error that put nine feeds onto Feed 1 for a few minutes, including one on the Diary chair and another showing staffers prepping onstage for tonight's show - see Goofs Tally below. Nothing pertinent was leaked onto feeds other than some of their wakeup music, but it does remind us how many balls are juggled to put on these eviction shows, as well as how easily things can go wrong when people are working from home. Janelle put in a little last minute social game over coffee with Christmas, Memphis, Kaysar. After HOH lockdown, Cody reported his meeting last night with Enzo, Bayleigh, Da'Vonne to Dani, about potentially flipping the vote to keep Janelle. Cody also told Dani how he danced around Bayleigh asking "why do we care what Nicole thinks?" when Cody had said she'd be a sticking point. David's apology tour carried on with Cody this time, saying "rookie mistake, I let your name slip." Cody talked down to David more than Tyler had. Both let him know yes, he had definitely blown it but Tyler assured David it'd be okay, while Cody vetsplained things to him. Nicole fretted again about her wedding uninvite in Janelle's farewell, and Dani said she'd asked production to ask Dom to delete all her socials if her snippy farewell "doesn't go over well."
Tonight's show was live again, as it should be, and Julie said next week's would be too. She ran a streamlined recap of Davidgate, and then Janelle and Kaysar sat on the block together for the last time. Janelle was evicted 9-2, with Dani and Enzo the dissenting votes. Nobody told Julie that Dani had talked (with Cody) about possibly throwing a couple hinky votes and Julie was flustered by her vote. I don't know if Dani and Enzo planned that together today or if they hinkied individually. Nicole, wearing Deathrace-caliber uneven twin sloppy buns with sticky-out bits, wasn't as bitchy in her farewell as she'd led us to believe, or maybe she redid it. It was something along the lines of "you probably weren't going to come to my wedding anyway, so now you don't have to." Janelle also heard farewells from Bayleigh, Cody, Kaysar, and Julie told her about the several bad reads she still had upon leaving. It was stated several times Janelle would be "going home" so there's still no battle-back or Camp Comeback type revival options in play, and no special twist or comp of any kind was announced for the upcoming week.
Julie sent them out to their HOH comp which was titled Carnival Quick Shot, played in groups of six. They had to roll balls up a long ramp and sink three in holes at the top, with a lot of running back and forth to grab their missed shots. The fastest three finishers from the first two rounds would go against each other for a third round, and the first to sink their three balls in that third round would win. The first group was Nicole, Da'Vonne, David, Ian, Enzo, Kaysar. Kaysar already had his three sunk when the credits rolled, and the remainder of the comp will be on Sunday's show. Feeds were withheld until 9.30pm BBT (boo!) but I got and posted a spoiler that Enzo had won, and that turned out to be accurate.
Have-nots for the week will be Dani, Da'Vonne, Tyler. Picks had been pre-planned as Cody>Ian, Enzo>Tyler, Bayleigh>Da'Vonne, and for whatever unknown-as-of-now reason, Dani as the only one left who hadn't done it got Ian's spot - he would have been the first repeater.
Enzo told Cody he'll probably put up Kaysar and a pawn, and if Kaysar comes off with veto he'll put up Ian. He didn't tell Cody he cast a hinky vote but he said he'd ask everyone who they thought the two votes were in order to see who'd throw who under the you-know-what. Dani also didn't tell Cody one of them was her, and she even played it up by saying if she and Cody had gone through with the hinky idea she'd pitched to him, there would have been four votes (ahem, just three). Da'Vonne told Kevin she thought Dani was one because she'd been called to Diary twice, for no apparent reason. We learned the HOH robe, slippers, and goodies are carried upstairs by the HOH this year, to avoid excess staff going through the habitat, and then they all fake it a bit later for the "who wants to see my HOH room" nonsense. That nonsense and his letter and the rest of it were blocked from feeds.
Christmas gathered up her star babies for a final tour before turning then in. The show only got her up to 9 of them but she had 13. David told Kaysar "welcome back" even though he hadn't gone anywhere. Nicole was in a noticeably better mood overall, but remained concerned about what Janelle may have said about her. She remained unconcerned about things she said about Janelle. Dani was louder than she has been, joking with some but she snapped at David a few times. She doesn't have a great track record as a slopper - this week could get rough.

Day 24 - Friday - August 28, 2020
Christmas hadn't yet turned in her star babies, but she did pile up all her baby gear in the pantry. I don't know if that's a designated emergency fire exit or not, but this probably isn't up to code if so. Cody told Nicole he thinks she gets skeptical about him at times, but she assured him she trusts him more than anyone else in there, and she'd "put her BB life in his hands." She also complained she felt she was putting in more work to protect Ian than he was for her, adding "it'll pay off it we're sitting next to each other." Enzo held his pre-nom meetings and was very friendly to everyone's face but impatient between meetings, pacing and saying "next, next, who's next" to himself and us. Cody pushed for Kevin to be the pawn to go up next to Kaysar, rather than David. There was a lot of talk about Dani's game in various meetings and the many seed bombs she drops. For her part, Dani griped about her Have-not bed (even though most have said they aren't bad), and she handed out backhanded compliments to Da'Vonne ("why are you looking all good, are you going up on the block?") and Bayleigh in her yellow dress ("you look like a banana").
Enzo told Ian he wasn't going to nominate him and Ian thanked him, saying that's all he wanted to know. (Ian is Enzo's renom plan should Kaysar be veto'd off the block though.) Da'Vonne told Bayleigh that Enzo would be putting up Kevin as the pawn to his target Kaysar. Bayleigh said "shit, that's gonna be a meltdown." They then had a lengthy check-in including hopes they'd be the final two, and Da'Vonne said she wants to work Enzo as her side alliance, as Bayleigh has Tyler. She asked if Tyler and Enzo then take each other out, who can they beat? Bayleigh said nobody, but they agreed one of them could get to finals regardless. Kaysar and Ian had a lengthy discussion about the autism spectrum - well, Kaysar did most of the talking, as Ian rocked, but Ian did open up some, and said he was having a rough day today.
Enzo put up Kaysar and Kevin as planned. Feeds came back to Enzo giving Kevin a deluxe peptalk in HOH, saying he'd be safe and enthusiastically repeating "trust me" over and over. Enzo said Kaysar's his target but Kevin would be safe even if Kaysar comes off with veto, and he said he wouldn't put Kevin up again. None of that helped Kevin's Eeyore mood, but he did tell Enzo he wouldn't put him up either, so a major point earned there for Enzo's powers of shmooze. Kevin said he knows Enzo is a man of his word, adding "I have really good intuition" - no. Meanwhile Kaysar pressed Dani for alliance info, saying it didn't make any sense that there aren't any, and he accused her of working with the guys. She denied, so he said the lines are drawn, and "this means game on."

More meetings ensued, like they do, including a Kaysar/Dani followup, Christmas/Enzo congratulating themselves, Kaysar asking Ian if he'd use veto on him, Kevin and David comparing notes (I know!), and a couple Enzo/Ian meetings, in which Enzo didn't let on at all that Ian was his renom of choice, and Ian told him he wouldn't use veto if he wins. Christmas led a workout and Bayleigh held yoga class for those interested. Dani and Nicole had a lengthy check-in which included scoffing about Bayleigh wearing Janelle's denim stars jacket, and Dani saying she didn't think Janelle left it for her and Bayleigh just took it. Wrong. Kevin told Da'Vonne he thinks Cody, Dani, Nicole, Tyler are the nucleus alliance, each with various side partners. Nicole griped that Da'Vonne looked at her when she was leaving HOH. Da'Vonne perturbed Cody and Enzo by asking why Kevin and not David, Dani and Cody got snippy with each other, Kaysar talked at Bayleigh and Da'Vonne for a couple hours, and they griped about that to Enzo, Cody, Dani in HOH.
The feeds have screeched to a halt entertainment-wise, so I'm going to do some other things tonight. If anything interesting should happen, I'll revise this. Update: nothing interesting happened.

Permanent gripe/comment until slop is done: They need to do away with slop in general, but especially during pandemic plague season when good nutrition should be a major priority on their highly-touted list of safety concerns.

Imagine going on BB and not wanting to work with Janelle and Kaysar. Having them to go bat for you, hard, and then throwing it back in their faces. It's mind-boggling. She was in way over her head this season, made one bad decision after another, and she repeatedly promised us a house meeting that she never delivered.

Won: Nothing HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1 - HN 0 1st evicted, Day 9
She was feisty her first time around but like all of them, she's older and more mature now, and her birthday happened before they moved in, so we didn't get any new memorable Keesha scenes. But it was good to see her again and she got a nice check for two weeks isolation and one week of summer camp.
