Big Brother After Dark is on TVGN (Slice in Canada) three hours Mon/Tues starting 11pm, two hours Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun starting midnight; and two hours Thurs starting 1am.

BB16 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. Stipend for the others is $1,000 per week, including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Frankie might get more.

The habitat has 76 cameras (up 11, and now high def) and 100 microphones (up 2).

Cuckoo's nest, indeed (Wednesday 8/13)

Nicole gradually realized that her campaigning wasn't going to go anywhere, and that she'll be walking the plank tomorrow.. Derrick continued running damage control of course, like he does, including working on Victoria to make sure she stays in his pocket and doesn't jump over to Nicole's

Derrick's getting some flak out here for being "mean" but I think he's just playing the game of Big Brother the way it was designed to be played, and he's doing it incredibly well.. I'd like to see him win, but I'd also like to see him have to sweat a bit for it

Donny and Nicole started to pack: Nicole had a lot more of it to do and a lot less practice at it than Donny.. otherwise it was a lot of Jenga, a lot of psst psst, a lot of laughing, and a lot of bashing - pretty normal state of affairs for Day 55.. there were a few extra good Lines of the Day though, scroll way down below and enjoy

Big Brother started to mess with them a bit with the old lit-up scary masks in the mirrors/windows trick.. Nicole got the first one and let out a bloodcurdling scream worthy of any B horror flick - Flashback 8/13 11.11pm.. a few more appeared in the minutes after, and then all the hamsters gathered in the fire room in the dark, where lights flashed in all the mirrors/windows as they clutched each other and screamed.. maybe that's why there were visitors in the walls yesterday - even scary monsters have to rehearse.. they also got a few memory clues on the living room monitors.. along with the Have-not food vote choices, maybe we're going to have monster-themed comps coming up this week

Over a month to go (Tuesday 8/12)

The camera came out but most of them were asleep.. Christine & Donny did most of the posing, and Cody joined after Christine woke him up - his request.. one or two wandered along to say "cheese" before it was put away again

They were given badminton and Jenga, both of which caused a bit of activity here and there, at least until all the badminton birdies broke.. Nicole made a pitch to Christine, and later to Derrick and then Cody, with some rewinds and retells along the way, but it doesn't look like it'll come to anything.. but it's only Tuesday: Zach was a certain goner this time last week and look what happened there.. Nicole should remind them she's actually two jury votes with Hayden - that might get their attention

A flurry of laughter and silliness broke out overnight, like it does, culminating with Nicole tackling Zach, stuffing Cody's stinky socks in his mouth, and giving him a super wedgy - Flashback 8/13 3.19am (or wait for the next volume of Jeffish, it's bound to end up there).. the crowd went wild in there and out here.. later Zach and Nicole went into the beehive where Zach tried to broker an information exchange deal as he dangled some hope of her staying.. I didn't stick around for all of it because again, it's only Tuesday night

Humpty Dumpty (Monday 8/11)

Zach used his veto on himself, obviously, and Christine put up Nicole in his place.. there were no fireworks - instead, the two nominees walked the yard and discussed their fates.. Nicole said "they expected a big reaction but after Thursday, nothing could shock me".. Donny told her not to lay down and die, but to befriend them all over again

Apparently Christine doesn't understand how jury votes can work, nor that she's the guys' Britney, even though the guys keep saying in front of her that they're all about "the guys".. meanwhile the guys celebrated in their unique way, with Caleb piling onto Cody, then spanking Frankie, then humping as Frankie wormed himself in between Caleb & Cody - Flashback 8/11 11.57am

Won: 48 hr Adam & Eve with Caleb You're so secretive about your hair, but thousands of people who'd never heard of Ariana know about her hair problems now, thanks to you... ZING!
Won: Germany trip USED VETO ON SELF Do you work at being a maniac or does it just come naturally? ...ZING!	Won: Nothing He was the nice guy they all liked, and it's always rough to lose that guy early. Slightly immature with no shame, he was extremely good-natured and responsible for most of the just-for-fun activities and spontaneous silliness. He was cute with Nicole and a perfect combo of Jackass and hamster. He brought a lightness to the feeds that was missed when he left.
Won: Nothing She didn't bring the holy wars I feared but she did speak in tongues. She cried a lot but she also laughed a lot, and she did great Diaries. She'll be remembered for her bow ties, her choir robe/portable changing room, and most of all her judgemental, IDGAF, side-eye, and the hell you say expressions.	Won: Nothing A stunningly gorgeous model, she lasted longer than the hamster in that slot usually does, but she exited on another unanimous vote, and before jury. She wanted to play a clean game and that usually doesn't work out so well on this show. She was a good sport about pranks, including the antiquing shown here, but she'll mostly be remembered as the object of Caleb's dreams, and I do mean dreams.
Won: 2400 goals She was the rawest recruit we've had in awhile and she didn't do much homework, which worked against her in a big way. She seemed to have pretty good game instincts and may have done some real damage if she'd been better prepared. She'll be remembered for her high bun as well as the few times her hair escaped it and landed her in Deathrace 2014 hall of fame, and for sticking with and completing that brutal soccer task when she didn't have to.	Won: Nothing He has a daughter. PS He easily wins the Best Evictee Award with this.
Won: Nothing I kept hoping for the spitfire she plays on Twitter & Instagram to show up but it didn't until the veto meeting blowup. She was well on her way to being a perma-pawn but she stressed about not being able to win comps, and then Devin happened and out she went. She had a lot of entertainment potential and while we were robbed of most of it by her early exit, we'll always have CALTORU.	TEAM AMERICA FAIL Won: Nothing She blew up her game prematurely and spectacularly, and then her alter ego Alex and his 'big ass balls' sealed the deal. Supposedly she beat someone with 500k Twitter followers (plus 15 million backup) in a public vote, but that went splat just like BB12's saboteur Annie. Joey was lively and personable, a worthy member of the first out club, and she easily leads the pack of hamsters with unnatural hair colors.
