Watch Big Brother 14 on SuperPass! Daily Hamsterwatch
I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 14 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

BB14 FAQ
If you have SuperPass, access mobile feeds by going to real.com/bigbrother on your mobile device's browser. Log in (upper right), select Big Brother, and select Live Feeds from the drop menu. There is no app.

The BB14 untwist resulted in no eviction, and all coaches entering the game. Boogie was the only one who didn't vote to enter. If all had said no, there would have been a hamster revival.

Willie was ejected for head-butting Joe. Threats & verbal attacks are legal - aggressive physical contact is not.

They're calling pre-show sequester 'convention' or 'knitting convention', and they're calling Diary 'the wizard' or 'dairy queen'.

Ashley revealed they wear earpieces for nominations, at least early on.

CBS shows are Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm.

Big Brother After Dark airs midnight to 3am nightly (1am to 4am Thursdays) on Showtime (SHO2) in USA, and on Slice in Canada at various times - check your local listings.

BB14 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Kara and Jenn may have gotten more.

The coach of the winner would have gotten $100k without the untwist. Returning veterans got $20k to show up, and/or a higher stipend after the untwist.

The habitat has 53 cameras (up one) and 98 microphones (up three).

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

The Glass House premiered June 18 on ABC and ran for 10 episodes. The winner got $250,000 - half the usual BB winning amount. The glass hamsters went into hotel sequester on weekends.

Big Brother Canada premieres February 2013.

Flashbackgate (Friday 8/31)

I know the -gate suffix for scandals is overdone but it's appropriate this time, since much of the original Watergate scandal was about many minutes missing from Nixon's tapes.. last night's incident where Ian was warned by BB about discussing his nominations is no longer in Flashback

Flashback 8/31 12.23am and watch the timestamp: at the 24-minute mark it jumps to the 44-minute mark, and that's where it picks up if you start Flashback from within that gap.. however as of now, F4 still has the warning from BB at 12.36am and the others' reactions to it (including Dan saying Joe must not have gone upstairs just to say good night), but the Joe & Ian convo is gone.. maybe it's just a glitch, but it's an odd one if so.. references to the warning today have gone to fishies, naturally

In other news, Frank's week as a carrot came to an end.. Ian got a Pandora Box complete with a Christmas tree and presents including socks, undies, a bunch of science toys, and $1,000 that he only told Dan about.. the others were subjected to Jessie once again, who berated them and threw out their junk food, replacing it with healthy organics.. their beer from last night went too (boo).. this is Jessie's 5th season in a row to show up, and a good reason for me to skip Sunday's show

They also got a new hammock and pool toys, and Joe's turning his hula hooping into creative Chicken Georgesque routines.. Joe told Ian that someone else might be a better renom than him, and told him that Danielle & Jenn are very close

Ian nominated Frank and Jenn, as planned.. they spent the afternoon playing toys and napping, and they napped right into Showtime, thinking a midnight comp was coming - it didn't.. Dan and Ian had a very long late night convo that was interesting on many levels, including that Dan might go up as renom.. Danielle and Jenn gave Joe late night dancing lessons that left most viewers speechless

11th hour scramble (Thursday 8/30)

Britney finally started campaigning, approaching voters Joe, Dan and Shane.. follow-ups and retells ensued, like they do.. I wouldn't be surprised if Dan installs one of those Take a Number machines in the parlor soon, since they all check in with him for every breath

I'm all for losing another coach in principle, but losing Britney will be a big hit to the entertainment value of the feeds.. it was a whole lot of too little, too late for her anyway - she was evicted 4-1 as expected

Spin cycle

Tonight was an endurance comp, though not of the brutal type such as banging them into walls or slapping them into diplomas.. get a free trial for the feeds to watch it live.. a subscription is only $14.99 per month and a lot's still coming, plus exclusive post-finale interviews

They stood on little discs suspended on ropes, spinning slowly around a giant 4th grade-type papier mache sun, with goop ("tans") being sprayed at them occasionally, and nudging a "meteor" punching bag on some loops when they went past it.. Joe and Jenn were off before the CBS credits rolled, leaving only the surviving Quackers spinning.. Danielle and then Dan came off within a half hour

Shane and Ian spun for almost two hours, when Shane asked the others to go inside so he could deal with Ian.. he offered to drop and give it to Ian on condition that both he and Danielle are safe from noms and renoms - Ian agreed, and became the new Head of Household

As "punishment" for being first off, Joe has to hula hoop whenever a military fanfare plays, for 24 hours - the first came around 11pm.. his hula hoop has lights in it

Ian finally got his room, letter, pics and snacks and they ooh'd and ahh'd appropriately, although Frank didn't even attempt to stifle a big yawn at one point.. Ian took a bold and much needed stance when he told them all to go downstairs because it's so boring to linger and shmooze.. they did and so did he, going back to his bottle-etching project at the dining table

A few meetings followed later anyway, including Ian telling Joe his key would be coming out of the box but he'd probably go up as renom, which prompted a new warning from BB directed at Ian that said "it's against the rules to discuss your nominations or evictions" - this on Day 55 after they've all been doing it all season, WTF?! Frank was next, and Ian & the carrot shmoozed each other.. then came Dan, and during his shmooze shift, Frank seemed like he might have been laying the groundwork downstairs to showmance Danielle - WTF 2.0?! Then she & Shane went upstairs, and on it went.. noms at this point will be Frank & Jenn, with Joe as veto replacement if needed, and the four of them did a quack-quack re-quacking ceremony

Ratings - Reveille edition

Ratings are Thursday's for now, based on entertainment value
VTE = Voted to evict

I don't think we've ever heard Julie quote an outside media source on a live show before, let alone two, but maybe that was meant to make this show sound as important as the hurricanes and political pundits that currently surround it. Pregnancy rumors flip-flop as much as this year's hamsters as Julie alternates between muu-muus and her typical svelte style - does she even have a stylist anymore? It's funny how they were pushing the Shane & Danielle nomance for weeks, only to let the Brigade boys tag it as a stalkery Fatal Attraction. That's a bit of passing the buck, not to mention a bit cruel, especially given Danielle's sometimes crush on Hayden.. oops.

It's always nice to have an endurance comp over a Q&A, and extra nice that they went easy on the fishies for it, and while the metal 'n scaffold shop gets an A, the design and/or art department gets a solid C- for this one, as does the logistics crew for letting us see one of the cameramen repeatedly. Just when the fishies had us thinking the hamstes are in there all alone with no adult supervision, they go and bust the illusion. Again.

TEAMIES: Kara, Danielle, Jodi
WON: Sushi party, 24 hour disco
VTE Britney - 4th off
Was he faking his gloomy mood between the comp and finding out he's back in with the Quackers and therefore safe? I think it might have been legit worry this time, and rightly so. His Have-not ended a few hours sooner than most but when Julie says the New York Post is talking about him, I guess he gets a special favor here and there. I give him lots of credit for what he pulled off this week but that's over, and it's time to move forward. He's never been one for big entertainment on the feeds, and I'd like that to change. I'd also like him to stop shouting in Diary! We got another guy in charge of that this year.

TEAM DAN
WON: 24 hour shackles
No vote (nominee) - 3rd off
Remember when she was going to stay on an endurance comp no matter what it took? How she'd pewk all over everyone if she had to? Yeah, that was just this afternoon.. so much for those promises. I'm thrilled neither she nor Shane won HOH as I simply could not take another week of the two of them upstairs. I think it'll be hilarious in so many ways if Frank decides to make a move there for his own safety and/or jury vote. How long until she blames the next breakouts on the comp spray-tan spray? Tune in to the next As Danielle's World Turns.

TEAM BOOGIE
WON: $3,341.49, 1 week spiritard, 1 week carrot, 24 hour chum showers
No vote (HOH) - didn't spin
NOMINATED
The best thing about him lately is his carrot suit and that's about to end. I'd like to see him win the veto and stick another week just for the drama in there and out here, and I hope we get another round of him versus Ian just for kicks. They had a booze delivery tonight but they didn't drink it - maybe they'll do day-drinking again.

TEAM BOOGIE
WON: $4k, 24 hour dog's life, veto
VTE Danielle - HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
Ups for winning when he had to, and for booting the shmoozers-to-be out of the room after they heard his letter. Some wormed their way back, but it was a nice effort on his part. It was great to see him enjoying his music and comfy bed, but a little sad to hear him say he was lonely up there. I'd like to know why he was the one BB called out for talking about his noms after all these weeks - they'd never heard that warning before, but every HOH has done it all season.

TEAM BOOGIE
WON: $1k, Hawaii trip
VTE Britney - 2nd off
NOMINATED
Blah blah blah. Do you think she's wondering yet why she's on slop for the duration?

TEAM JANELLE
WON: 24 hour hula hoop
VTE Britney - 1st off
Like most things going on in there, he had an inkling about the Dan & Danielle situation, but nobody listens to him - ironic, considering his volume makes him hard to ignore. He was the first to laugh at himself for falling off the apparatus so soon and that makes him a winner in my book. He's also been a very good sport about his hula hoop (so far anyway). I just wonder how many overnight bugle calls he'll get and whether he'll fall off the bed before he breaks its Ikea slats or vice versa.

TEAM BRITNEY
WON: Veto ticket
VTE Britney - 5th off
He did well on the endurance and that's enough to keep him at neutral when he deserves a negative. He's also quite good at hula hooping, outdoing all of them but Ian. But honestly, the guy just doesn't have a clue most of the time, and neither does his hair.

TEAMIES: Shane, Willie, JoJo
WON: 1 week safety, 24 hour shackles
She gamed way too hard as a coach and as a player, but she contributed to Willie's pork rind tantrum so kudos for that. She didn't bring as much comedy as she's capable of but when she did, it was hilarious, including early late nights with Janelle and her stellar pre-eviction drunk. It's a shame we didn't get a second season of Just The Tip and that she repeated some of her same mistakes, but she was fun to see again and she'll definitely be missed.

TEAM JANELLE - WON: Nothing
She was ditzy and kooky, and didn't seem like she knew what show she was on most of the time (which fits, since she landed here after being rejected from a dating show). She had back problems that looked legit, and worked in her favor more than once. She brought a kitty-cat sleep mask, creative counting methods, unicorns and dreamboard strategy, and while she seems like a nice enough girl who would have been a hit in 1967, her monotone voice won't be missed.

TEAMIES: Frank, Ian, Jenn - WON: $16k
He started a bit better this time but degenerated to his old self. His friends in production couldn't save him this time around and he got got. His team survived him but only Frank stuck with him til the end, even though Boogie went for cash rather than working to help him. I'm very relieved to see the back of him for a third and hopefully last time, and I only wish we had a feed for when Dr. Will smacks him upside the head.

TEAM JANELLE - WON: $5,000
He came in with the most entertainment potential we've seen in awhile but other than a few spectacular bursts such as his drunken sushi birthday, he failed to deliver on a regular basis. His Sharon Osbourne was spot-on and so was his Joe, but his quick wit wasn't enough to combat the overall doldrums of the season. He fiddled his hair constantly (like Kaysar), and he pinkyswore Janelle out the door. He starred in two of the three 'The Soup' segments to date, and he'll be missed.

TEAMIES: Wil, Ashley, Joe WON: nothing
She was the first coach casualty but she went quietly, robbing us of an updated 'bye-bye bitches'. She didn't have a Howie or Kaysar to work with (or entertain us) this time, and her teamies either didn't know or didn't care how loyally she plays BB. She had some sippy fun but this cast didn't get her shtick, and she had pork rinds thrown at her and mean girl chatter reminiscent of BB6. She drove the early game but didn't play in any veto comps, and that was a huge loss for the season.

TEAM BRITNEY - WON: nothing
She promised to bring it, but apparently she left it on Staten Island since she failed to fight even when confronted. She talked a lot but it was mostly the same loops over and over: she only gets along with East Coast girls, she's street-smart, she's loyal, and she's loyal, know what I mean? She was scouted via Facebook to get here, and that's where she should have stayed. Now she can get back to modeling and piloxing.

TEAM BRITNEY - WON: nothing
(Possibly forfeited stipend)
He spent two weeks laying in HOH bed, parannoying his brains out even though he was perfectly safe, and his fall from HOH was the hardest we've ever seen. He head-butted himself out the door when he might have been saved by veto, so he'll go into the BB blunders pile. I didn't come in with Hantzophobia so I'm grateful for the cheap entertainment he brought, especially the Froot Loops war and Willieisms like 'key-hos', 'corn-ho', and 'totin' pole'. He's the first hamster to pose for his mug shot while his season was still underway.

TEAM DAN - WON: nothing
She brought a big name and rep to the show but didn't live up to either. She seemed like a nice enough girl but she didn't bring much to the feeds, and her sister wife wardrobe greatly disappointed her pre-existing fanbase. She'll be remembered for extra shiny knees and little else - she didn't even campaign to stay.

TEAM DAN, for a minute - WON: nothing
Most were looking forward to seeing what she'd bring, but she got a raw deal and was gone before the feeds even kicked on. She'd said she was worried about lack of privacy & sleep, missing her family, and slop, so maybe BB wasn't for her, and she got away without airing any dirty laundry. It had to be humiliating to go back in for the group bikini pic but that's how they do things.

NEWS & UPDATES

Along with your $1 text votes and the ability to increase ad rates across CBS.com due to increased traffic from your free online votes, CBS now has an extra $100k that was previously announced as the winning coach's prize. PLEASE STOP VOTING ON THEIR POINTLESS POLLS. Don't even get me started on their idiotic Flock to Unlock traffic and Twitter spam generator.

Thursday September 6 is another double eviction. We have seven hamsters left with a September 19 finale - we'll still need to dump another extra one if they're bringing three to finale again.

Evictee/ejectee Twitters are @WilHeuser, @JanellePierzina, @JoJoDoll1, @HantzBB, @KaraMonaco, @Jodisbox. Imposters are out there - these are the real ones.

BB Australia began August 12, and UK Celebrity BB began August 15. Neither has feeds, but see Links of the Day for quick videos of air shows and related talk shows.

Flashback is now using BB/Pacific time for all, no more timezone math required. Also it's back to one-minute increments rather than five.
