I've come close to doing just that, often, partly because of the time/energy required but mostly because the financial drain has become insurmountable. Pre-season - Saturday - July 13, 2024 There's been very little hard info ahead of the premiere this season, so far anyway. All we know is the theme is artificial intelligence, and there will be 16 new faces. The two-night premiere shows will be split with introduction of eight on each show. However, I've been told they'll all actually move in the day before the first premiere, on Tuesday, July 16. That would be Day 1, and the finale was announced for October 13, so it'll be a 90-day season. We also got a hint from Sharon Tharp that there will be a 17th houseguest. Most, including me, believe that will be some sort of AI entity. Julie mentioned she is "kinda part of the twist" so maybe Chenbot will show up.A minor item (that's also huge in its way) is they did not replace the chess set from last year. Well, maybe it's a new one but it's the same style with a light-up LED board and blue and pink/orange LED pieces. It looks very cool, especially at night, but it's odd since a new chess set every season is one of the staple traditions of our little show. Pre-season - Monday - July 15, 2024 We have a cast! Their basic stats are below in my Ratings section, and I'll probably add more tidbits if/when I find them.The bad news is they've discontinued Flashback, which we've had since season 10 or 11. Reasons might include saving bandwidth/storage costs, or preventing problematic conversations from escaping our insulated BB world and becoming mainstream news. However, it opens the possibility of people making things up and having them believed by all (rather than just gullible extremists) because there will be no way to check accuracy. This decision will likely also result in more clips being posted from feeds, something that's always been illegal but has gone relatively unchecked since Superpass days. Either way, it's a disaster for people who work, sleep, or step away from the feeds from time to time. There's also conflicting info as to whether feeds will be available at all on the basic-with-ads Essential P+ plan. I was told they would not, but I've asked for re-clarification on that and will update here when I get that. GET YOUR FEEDS regardless - we made do without Flashback back in the ancient days and we can do it again - and get them set up so you'll be ready to go.
