Apparently Cam asked Chelsie to get him a soda at one point, and obviously that didn't sit well with Chelsie, resulting in a minor fight for the tally, with drama, grumbling, whispering, and Chelsie ended up dragging her cot across the yard to get away from Cam. This morning brought some retells, including Cam and Makensy wondering what set off Chelsie. Angela did her DIY chiro thing, cracking Chelsie's back and neck a few times, which may have helped released some of her tension. Several of them adopted new plushies from the booth displays, Leah continued wearing her toy tiara and restyled her Barbie's hair to again match her own, and they were all called for multiple dance, pizza, ice cream, and singalong parties as they waited for the veto meeting. That wait went on and on, and eventually it came out that BB was waiting for dark for lighting purposes, either for Leah's janky veto task or maybe for Jankie to show up properly in the hologram box. So it was another afternoon of napping with occasional breaks for whichever type of parties Jankie announced. Rubina took manicure scissors to her Jankie World shirt and spent an hour or two redesigning it. She and T'kor wrote a song and dance for Kimo for his birthday while he was in Diary or napping. Neither did any campaigning with their seven extra hours before veto meeting, nor did any of them do any gametalk at all that I heard. We really went from near-continual gaming to none at all, and I don't think living in Jankie World is the sole reason for that. The veto meeting finally happened, and went as expected: Angela used her veto on Kimo, and Leah replaced him with T'kor. Leah did not use her janky veto. That leaves Leah as the only one who hasn't touched the block as of now. Feeds came back to Angela, Leah, Makensy discussing voting scenarios, with Angela pushing for T'kor to go. And Chelsie and Cam were rehashing their latest drama. They ran the same loops they've run before, with Chelsie saying it's a bad look for him to always be cozying up with Makensy, him saying it didn't mean anything, and her saying it was not good for their games. And he said he was tired of her always insulting him. They went back and forth, like they do, and eventually ended up where they usually do, arriving at a tentative truce and joking about it. Various pairs whispered about the trio getting broken up and how that was a good thing in theory game-wise, but a difficult thing for them all personally. Leah and Chelsie said T'kor might be the best boot this week since she'd have a better shot at winning the game than Kimo or Rubina, and she'd have two guaranteed votes from them at the end, when it will only take four to win the season, but then they backtracked and thought maybe T'kor's exit could wait. T'kor finally exited Diary and joined the rest of them around the pool and s'mores maker, heavily bundled up, as were several of them as the evening temps dropped into the low 60s. She was pretty quiet at first, but started to perk up. Several of them tossed ducks into a big bucket for an activity. Kimo's name was spelled out last night with duckies for his birthday. Rubina and T'kor let him know they had a present for him but they wouldn't tell him what it was (their song). Since they weren't sure when midnight was, and a few of them had toddled off to their sleeping bags, they decided to wait on the celebrations until tomorrow. But Kimo had a cupcake to ring in his 36th. While he was saved from the block, he might have a weird sort of survivor's guilt from having his two besties still on it. Day 64 - Tuesday - September 17, 2024Another sunny day dawned in Jankie World, with Leah doing some birthday decorations for Kimo, and Rubina and T'kor grumbling quietly about her doing that for "their" friend. They then participated, and T'kor also did some maintenance on her hair. Rubina said how great and unusual it would be to have two women in the finals, and three "incredible friends" in jury. (Both have happened before.) They all did some singing, and word games, and Leah and Kimo planned an elaborate Disney World trip to take together. Rubina did some campaigning(!) to Angela, who promised her vote, adding that both times she voted to evict Kimo she hadn't made him any promises like that.Cam and Leah (still wearing her toy tiara) had a lengthy discussion and agreed T'kor should go since she's the bigger threat than Rubina. Leah said she'd decided on T'kor as renom when she was pushing the women's final six idea and saying a guy had to go this week, meaning Kimo. Cam said he knew the talk about a women's alliance was real and had been for awhile. And he promised Leah he won't put her up next week if he wins HOH. Jankie parties eased up, like they do, since they have plenty to pick from to use in the episodes, but they still had occasional party signals. And then they revved up again. Afternoon was a snooze with small and smaller talk in small groups. Then Jankie made a rare appearance in the hologram box and called for a series of new dance parties: twerk on the dance floor, conga line around the yard, and limbo using the pool skimmer for a bar. He kept telling them "lower" after every round until the bar was about a foot off the ground. Rubina and Leah almost made it under. Jankie cried out "is this the most fun you've ever had?!" multiple times, some hollered yes and some hollered no, and they decided maybe between those cheers and repetitive lowering of the bar, Jankie might have been glitching. Jankie finally faded away again, and gametalks broke out as if on cue. Angela and Cam boosted each other up personally (mostly Angela boosting Cam), and agreed T'kor was the better option to evict. Makensy and Rubina agreed T'kor was being very withdrawn but they said it's her first time on the block so understandable. Both agreed if T'kor gets to the end she'll win, and Makensy told Rubina that Leah wants T'kor to go. Chelsie told T'kor she thinks Angela wants to vote out Rubina (no), and T'kor said she should talk to Leah and to everyone, but she doesn't know what to say. Leah made a Jankie outfit for her Barbie with decoration streamers and tiny bits of tape. Jankie called for another conga line around the yard, and they evolved that into a high (and low) kick line and piggyback line. Whistle-Nut and Christmas say hi. (And that's a sentence that wouldn't make sense to many people.) Rubina and T'kor finally got back to their birthday song and dance for Kimo. They went to the balcony to remember/practice it, but Jankie came back with orders for another twerk party, another conga line, and another. Hamsters were panting by this point and kind of balked, and then Jankie just gave them blank looks from his holobox without saying anything. Another group chat happened about general topics, and Leah and Makensy went to whisper about next week in the KNOCK EM DOWN booth. The two of them later concocted a birthday treat for Kimo involving the immersion blender to grind up graham crackers and I don't know what else, and they lit a marshmallow on fire on a skewer to use as a candle for it. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Kimo except Rubina, who was in a marathon Diary session. Finally near 10pm Rubina and T'kor did their song and dance for Kimo, and BB worked the stage lights for them. Kimo loved it, as did all of them. As of now, it's looking like T'kor will go to jury to join Quinn on Thursday, but that's far from definite yet. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. Day 65 - Wednesday - September 18, 2024It wasn't a happy morning in Jankie World for everyone. Last night T'kor told Kimo she was aware of having retreated back inside herself, and was struggling to break out of her shell again, and she said she'd have some campaign talks today. Chelsie agreed to vote with Cam and Makensy to evict her tomorrow, as will Angela. Having always had good observation skills and reads this season, T'kor's surely aware that she's in trouble. She sat alone with her plushie as everyone puttered around with morning routines, and then she played KNOCK EM DOWN by herself for a bit, before finally joining in a couple general topic convos here and there. Kimo and Rubina planned a dating show activity, Big Brother Bachelor, starring Cam but involving everyone.Waffle Wednesday kicked in on schedule as whispery one-on-one meetings took place around the yard, complicated for us and likely production by near-constant jets flying overhead. T'kor met with Angela first, which went more like a job interview with Angela asking questions. Additional meetings included Cam/Kimo, Cam/Chelsie, Cam/Rubina, Chelsie/Makensy, Cam/T'kor, and Cam/Chelsie again. Recall Angela promised her vote to Rubina yesterday, and Makensy seemed set on evicting T'kor, but Cam in particular seemed to waver today. T'kor told him she'd never dropped his name to Leah as a nom option this week, that she'd only mentioned physical threats and she said she meant Makensy by that. Cam, Chelsie, Makensy agreed that Leah has been trying to drive wedges between alliances and friends this week, and Cam was confused after his talks as to who was lying to him. When meetings paused for awhile, Jankie called for some dance parties and singalong parties, which kept interrupting a very, very messy team retell of Saltburn's plot. They took a break from psst-pssting for a bit, and Leah popped some pimples on Kimo's back - the less said about that, the better. Whispery, jet-impaired meetings picked up again with combos including Angela/Makensy, Rubina/Makensy, Angela/Cam, Angela/Rubina, Kimo/Rubina (hiding in plain sight by the horsie ride), T'kor/Makensy, T'kor/Rubina, T'kor/Chelsie, Cam/Makensy, Chelsie/Rubina, T'kor/Kimo. New sticking points included T'kor telling Rubina and Kimo, in front of Makensy, if she (T'kor) is evicted she hopes Rubina, Kimo, or Chelsie win the season, and Makensy telling Angela that Cam's voting out T'kor followed by Cam telling Angela he hadn't decided yet. A lot of anti-Leah talk came up in many of today's meetings, and Angela continued stressing to anyone who'd listen that she didn't want to be on the wrong side of the vote again. At one point T'kor took the pool skimmer, normally used to remove leaves, to scoop out more duckies from the pool. Later Angela tossed a number of them back in, aiming for the floatie ring. The dating show didn't happen. That could have conceivably complicated and restarted all of today's talks, due to the Chelsie/Cam/Makensy situation. At the very least, it might have gotten awkward enough to be popcorn-worthy. Angela and Cam spent some time TPing a napping Leah on her cot. They did a good job but she woke up at some point and gave them immediate payback with a solid jumpscare. Angela asked if anyone knew why the show's called Big Brother, and Leah earned points (from me) for letting them know it's from George Orwell's 1984. The whispery whispers finally started to wind down and evolve into general topic group chats. T'kor and Kimo had one of the last one-on-ones, with T'kor telling him she appreciates that he has a very tough decision to make, but both she and Rubina will respect what he decides and won't take it personally. Rubina snuck up on them after they'd been going for awhile, then she joined them and they commiserated about this being the end of their time together as a threesome. Rubina at one point said to Kimo "you're breaking up with us?" and they all laughed a little, which was nice to see after a day of doom and gloom. Chelsie preached a bit to Angela, and also told her she's deserving of winning the game if she gets to finals because of all she's done and survived to get there. That was likely shmoozing on Chelsie's part, but also valid in my opinion: Angela's resumé on paper, as of now, would be enough to win some seasons. Some carnival games broke out, and Chelsie, Leah, Makensy made tinfoil bowls to melt chocolate syrup to make hot chocolate. A floor show featuring Cam as Midnight Hour plus individual performances by most of them wrapped up the night and the week in Jankie World in a fun way. As is typical this season, it's unconfirmed as of tonight who will be leaving tomorrow. Coming into today, I would have said T'kor will go 3-2 or 4-1 but I don't know if today's convos changed anything, or if they'll hold more talks overnight, or even tomorrow after feeds go down, as they've often done this season.
