Again, a lot of feedsters have no room to say anything about that, and she did do some makeup. There wasn't another Instigator event before they went to do their comp so I guess the AI Quinn one about Tucker and Rubina will be it for Sunday's show, and they'll presumably do more to help fill the two-hour Wednesday episode. More group studying happened this morning, and T'kor told Rubina if Tucker wins veto, she'd like to renom another 6th Avenue member. Rubina volunteered for that, again. We often joke about seasons when hamsters play it like a team game when there's only one winner, but this season keeps going overboard on that.Feeds went to adoptable anipals a little after 11am for the veto comp. Angela and Joseph will play with T'kor, Cam, Makensy, Tucker and Kimo will host. The show put out a message on Instagram the feeds might be down "longer than usual" for it. I had to pick myself up off the floor because they actually issued a heads up. Apparently Cam picked Joseph to play for him with a Houseguest Choice, which makes this the fifth of six veto comps that Joseph's played in, without ever being a nominee. Again, because Wednesday's show is two hours, I'm expecting and hoping this one results in costumes and tasks. I think this combo of players is ideal for that. Feeds came back 3.14pm, so it wasn't all that long after all. Cam won the veto, and it was a pass-the-prizes comp. Angela got a task about picking up 1,000 things in the backyard; Joseph got 24 hours solitary; Makensy got a one-week Hawaii trip for two; T'kor got $5,000 (which Tucker passed to her); and Tucker got a costume and task where he has to answer questions Ainsley's too busy for. A few minutes after feeds came back they went away again for another Instigator visit. This time AI Rubina said something about what a good twerking student Angela was, and that was followed by AI Angela saying "keep rolling butt for Chuck!" (Leah had gotten dressed, by the way.) Makensy got highly animated and tried to convince various others why she was certain Angela was behind it all, and she said the appearance order will be according to who was targeted in the prior message. T'kor told Rubina she would have taken Tucker down if she'd won veto, and the two of them went round and round about who should be renom, without settling on anyone. They mentioned Angela but T'kor said she'd feel bad doing that on top of a punishment task. At one point they said maybe they'll ask Joseph to decide between Leah and Quinn. Tucker got his BBAI Assist costume and launched his week of tasks around 6pm. His outfit was a silver unitard printed with circuitry schematics, plus metallic blue shorts and skullcap - think low budget Tron. He has it for a week. His first task was withheld from us (boo), and he was speaking in a nerdy robotic voice when feeds came back, which hopefully won't last all week but probably will. Around 7pm he got another signal asking what year did the ice cream cone originate? He went to a small bookcase near the Have-not hallway, with a number of reference books, and then the feeds cut to fishies so we didn't see how it finished up. A large group in HOH furthered the theory that Angela's behind the Instigator messages, and they suggested picking her in Mafia so they can check her reactions and poker-face. Tucker got another research call about Mt Kilimanjaro, and they sat down to dinner made by Leah. He got two more while they were eating, and he got stuck for quite awhile on the first British sovereign to live in Buckingham Palace, but finally landed on Victoria. It should be noted he has said he's dyslexic, he was getting very bad coaching ("look up British," "look up sovereign"), and he said he kept getting sidetracked by pictures and wanted to read up on other stuff. Angela said at dinner they're all good people and she's lucky to be in there with such "freakin awesome people." That will probably give most of them more ammo for their theory that she's the one behind the Instigator messages. Joseph pulled Quinn aside to whisper "I think it might be Angela now" and to continue pushing that theory, and that it was looking like Leah would be the renom. It was one of Joseph's usual everything-all-at-once recap whispers but I also think he was readying himself to go into solitary. And he said he'll "explain everything" when he gets out. Half the fanbase heard that as Joseph confessing that he's the Instigator, even though he said he thinks it's Angela? Go figure. They don't even know it's just one person behind the messages, let alone that it's one of them. Chelsie and Leah had a lengthy whisper wondering how they could get Quinn put up as renom. Makensy joined them to repeat her loops about never having won anything good except AI Arena, Cam and Tucker are working together, Angela threw the veto comp to her and maybe Tucker threw it to T'kor, and she's certain she's the target this week. Angela started her task around 10pm. She had to carry 1,000 "radioactive orbs" (green ping pong type balls) across the yard one at a time, and drop them into a radioactive waste barrel. She had a yellow hazmat suit and a grabber to pick up the balls. She was worried about her back when she heard she had to pick up 1,000 things so that part was welcome. But she had to go into a Decontamination Station periodically when a signal sounded, which involved stripping off her hazmat suit and boots to yellow underoos, add goggles, and stand in a booth to get sprayed by hot pink goop. That was followed by water to remove some of the goop. (Later on she used the backyard shower to get off more goop). Then she had to suit up again and go back and forth to transfer more orbs until the next decontamination signal. All of them sat in the yard to cheer her on when she started, eating popcorn. Tucker continued getting info signals, including just after he got into the hot tub, and in the shower. Eventually most of them trickled back inside but Leah and Joseph stayed outside several hours to cheer on and support Angela, who kept going and stayed in good spirits. A lot renom talks happened in a lot of combinations, but the one that (probably) mattered was T'kor telling Kimo and Quinn that her options as of now were Angela or Leah. Joseph hadn't started his solitary stint as of 1am. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, chaotic season so far. Day 41 - Sunday - August 25, 2024Angela trotted her balls back and forth through the night, getting gooped periodically, along with becoming exhausted, sore, chafed, and cold. But she kept at it and finally finished around 7.30am this morning. All but Joseph, T'kor, Tucker were in the yard to cheer her on at the end, and they made an arch with their arms for her to go through on her last pass. Well done, ma'am!Leah and Makensy talked this morning about blowing things up at the veto meeting if Leah goes on the block, and how everyone's so stupid if either of them get voted out, along with endless complaints about Tucker. Makensy then sat down to relay some of this to Angela, and she took her hands to say "I'm telling you right now, he's using you." (I don't know how this would help Angela as she'd be the other renom option, but whatever.) Angela was hurting bad this morning, physically, and was finally called to Diary. Tucker continued getting info signals, and started to get annoyed by them. Again, remember they front-load these things so they have a lot of options to edit from for Wednesday's episode. They should be slowing down soon. Joseph apparently started his solitary around 11am but it wasn't on feeds, nor was he after some anipals came and went. I guess that would mean he'll get sprung for the veto meeting without an opportunity to talk with anyone before. T'kor and Leah had a marathon meeting about the renom and the game. It ran an hour and a half and was mostly Leah talking and T'kor mm-hmming. It felt mostly like throwing everything at the wall, bit by tedious bit, to see what sticks. I don't know if anything did, but it seemed Leah may have moved herself an inch or two away from a renom chair than she was. I don't think Joseph's little prison was shown yet. He was probably running a lot of monologues to us that we weren't hearing, or maybe clowning for his segment on Wednesday's show, or more likely sleeping. They had an Instigator message around 3.30pm and there was more talk about Angela being behind the messages than what this one said: all I got was something about things are about to get more uncomfortable, and Tucker gave T'kor a hug and said don't believe it. Cam asked a group when they were going to just call out Angela about the messages, and several said "never." Leah said she was going to try to make pop tarts from scratch (that would be tarts). She said she didn't know how to make pie crust but was going to open her test kitchen anyway. Angela told Tucker she didn't want to be the renom but she didn't want it to be Leah either. Tucker said he trusts Angela the most in there, their F2 came along before him and Rubina were a thing and he'll honor it, and he said he'd have her back if she does end up on the block. Angela then went to Kimo, who said he didn't think Angela was an option (ahem). Rubina fashioned a tinfoil hat so nobody can read her mind. She was called to Diary right away - they love that kind of thing. Tucker told Kimo and Rubina he no longer thinks Angela's behind the messages, and he thought Leah should be the renom. Moments later Angela, Leah, Makensy, Quinn had an anti-Tucker meeting, with Angela leading the charge to vote him out. Maybe she was faking/testing, to take the renom target off herself? I'd think she'd go to the source (T'kor) rather than relying on telephone game, but who knows. I sure don't since I can't rewind to double-check her and Tucker's convo to see if they planned it together. Chelsie asked T'kor if she knew how Pentagon started. T'kor said no (but she does already know she wasn't included in CCC/Core, and she felt slighted by that.) T'Kor told Kimo 6th Avenue wasn't an option for her/them but they still liked Visionaries with Quinn, and they talked about adding Chelsie and Rubina. T'kor added "whoever goes up, goes up." The show confirmed Tucker won the AI Instigator vote, as I predicted (hair fluff), and it came with a secrecy clause! Baby steps, celebrate small wins, etc. While the episode was on, Quinn told Kimo and T'kor about Angela pushing to boot Tucker, and later Quinn told Tucker about it. Tucker continued his campaign to try to convince everyone Leah is behind the Instigator messages. It came out this evening that today's message about things becoming uncomfortable used Tucker's avatar, and it also said Chelsie and Quinn are untrustworthy. And they had another message using AI Joseph at some point that said it's stinky in there. Again, they were all focused on watching Angela's reactions so that took priority over what was actually said. (Future comps say hi?) T'kor continued holding meetings about whether to renom Angela or Leah that didn't go anywhere concrete, not that was stated anyway. Angela did her tears and tiny breathy voice when she met with T'kor, and she said Tucker had told her about T'kor and Chelsie's early pact not to nominate each other before jury. T'kor reported that later to Kimo, and she wasn't happy that it was out. Tucker told T'kor he was all about 6th Avenue "all day baby." T'kor told Quinn how Angela invited herself into their alliance, and her being in the alliance made the choice between her and Leah tricky, and she said she'd see what the rest of the group wants. And of course she swore Quinn to secrecy about all that - good luck! Finally T'kor seemed to settle on replacing Cam with Leah, per convo with Kimo. But you know how those two are: don't believe it 100% til it happens. As far as I know, Joseph wasn't seen at all in his solitary room. I'm pretty sure that's a first: previous hamsters sentenced to 24 hours solitary often had dedicated feeds on them. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, chaotic season so far.
