Her name was spelled out on the walls in the skybridge/lounge with streamers (Diary provided them tape) and more streamers were hung in the Have-not hallway. A cute gift basket arrangement was set up with jars of pickles and olives, plus lozenges, tea bags, and party hats. Together they did a really nice job of creating something from nothing. I didn't see Angela's reaction but chances are that happened behind wakeup fishies. She later said she loved it and appreciated the thought and effort they put into it.Veto players were drawn around 9am: Joseph and Makensy will play with Tucker, Brooklyn, Cam, Quinn, and Chelsie will host. That makes this the first veto comp Angela hasn't played in. As always, there was endless speculation and guesses what the competition would be. Adoptable anipals came along for the comp relatively early, around 11.15am. Before that, there was a lot of sniping and bitterness going on. Brooklyn tattled to Tucker about Quinn telling her he was Tucker's pawn, which Tucker had told Quinn to keep to himself. (He didn't: he told a number of them.) Tucker denied it to Brooklyn, and stuck to saying Quinn was his target, and he didn't want to be in jury with Quinn. Brooklyn then griped to her unicorn roomies about the vote blindside some more, and "spineless players who don't watch the show." She told Rubina she wasn't mad at her, she got got and that was the game. Leah went on another gripe-a-thon about Cam. Quinn and Joseph had a long chat with Quinn saying he was in a bad spot and could go home pre-jury, and he was annoyed the game could become comp-focused. He told Joseph he'd spilled about Pentagon and Collective, Joseph said he also spilled about Collective, and they laughed about how much lying they've both done. And Quinn said Leah's reaction to his nomination was "at least you know you'll be in the episode." Ouch. Feeds were down just over five hours for the return of Hide and Go Veto, which Tucker won: his third veto in a row. Cleanup was in progress when feeds came back and the house didn't look as trashed as some years, but they did flip mattresses and etc, so they'd put a lot back together before we joined. T'kor's bedsheet got torn, and Tucker was ranting about Quinn trashing his things. (There was apparently a confrontation about that before feeds returned.) Tucker said something to Quinn about it, who said he didn't do it, and "don't put that on me." Angela (who should just keep laying low and being quiet) told Quinn, Kimo, Tucker separately that it was Cam, but later Brooklyn confessed to Chelsie it was her who threw Tucker's things around. Joseph finished second in the comp, and the nominees all found each other's cards. Tucker took Brooklyn aside to tell her she was only on the block with Quinn because they're the smartest players, and he implied again his target remains Quinn. Joseph told Tucker that Quinn had been telling everyone everything, and that it was "fucked up" Brooklyn didn't say anything when various others were being blamed for trashing Tucker's things. Leah said T'kor should design a Build-a-Bear that says "mm-hmm." Joseph shmoozed Tucker about having partnered up with the best guy and Tucker said the same. Joseph also confessed that Chelsie and Cedric approached him early to work together. He asked if Tucker was still targeting Brooklyn but he didn't confirm, and said he'd wait and see. Kimo told Tucker he'd overhead Makensy and Quinn bashing Tucker, and Tucker said he wants to confront Chelsie late tomorrow night to offer a last chance to come clean before the veto meeting about Pentagon. Eventually the rest of 6th Avenue was in HOH (except Angela, and on her birthday!) to discuss renom options. Tucker said he'd likely use his veto on Quinn and put up Chelsie. All agreed Cam didn't seem to talk game with anyone and hadn't done well in comps, so wasn't a threat. Despite some subtle pushing in Chelsie's favor, Tucker said if it came down to her versus Cam, it had to be Chelsie who goes (mostly because she continues to lie about Pentagon). Joseph left and sent up Angela (whew), and Tucker repeated his tentative plan to replace Quinn with Chelsie, with Brooklyn still the target. And to boot Chelsie if the final vote is her versus Cam. Angela told them about Brooklyn pitching a moms F2 on her first HOH week, possibly adding Kenney, and Angela said her "instincts were to get rid of her." Makensy then met with Tucker and seemed to believe that he plans to keep noms the same. The yard finally opened after many days inside, and they all cheered. Kimo and Joseph shared a pickle. Most of them enjoyed having fresh air and laundry access again and they enjoyed a nice summer evening. T'kor told Kimo if Chelsie goes up and stays on the block, she won't vote her out. She said "it's just annoying" how these decisions come about (but she didn't say anything during the alliance meeting about it so we may be in for another situation like last week). Brooklyn told Chelsie she'll tell her secret if they swear to never vote against each other. Chelsie said they never would anyway, and Brooklyn said it was "maybe the reason" she was cast, and that she'd planned not to tell anyone until finale night, but finally confessed she was a former Mrs America. Chelsie hit the deck which kind of surprised me: I thought they already knew about that. I was expecting her to say she's friends with Aaryn. Leah told Kimo "somebody" said she "talks stupid" because she says "like and da-da-da all the time, and blah-blah-blah, but like, I'm literally a girl." Several of them sang Happy Birthday to Angela and gave her some slop cookies. Angela reiterated to Kimo about her early F2 with Brooklyn, and how she never really wanted to be part of that, but she was happy to be part of this new group. Quinn asked Joseph "do you think I have the votes to stay?" Joseph responded "I think that we're trying to work on that." Ooph. Joseph, Kimo, T'kor met in Have-not, and Joseph asked "what are you guys thinking for this week?" T'kor said she really doesn't want Chelsie on the block, and Kimo said he doesn't think it's the best move. T'kor suggested Makensy as a better renom, and again said she wouldn't vote out Chelsie. Joseph acted as a good middle-man for Tucker and his agenda, and he said it wouldn't be beneficial for them to evict Quinn, and his preference would be Brooklyn going. T'kor said she'll talk further with Tucker about it all, and maybe she will this time? We'll see. Leah retold to Angela and Brooklyn about "somebody" (a female) dissing her language, and she quoted her favorite poem "Like Totally Whatever," and talked about her intelligence and her self-worth. Again. Another rendition of Happy Birthday was sung to Angela, and Joseph ran a lengthy season rehash to Rubina and T'kor. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. Day 34 - Sunday - August 18, 2024Quinn began the day saying he was screaming in his sleep and hoped he didn't disturb his roomies. Brooklyn said she only heard him say "stop" but she was so tired it didn't bother her. Kimo took the Makensy renom idea to Tucker, who said he'd think about it, and he might expose Collective and Pentagon (again), and Quinn had to keep believing he'll be evicted. Joseph then met with Tucker to tell him Kimo and T'kor were going to push for Makensy renom, and it was Brooklyn who messed up Tucker's things, and he said he felt Quinn should stay. T'kor with Kimo told Quinn they were fighting for him, the Rubina vote was just about keeping Rubina and not them choosing Tucker over him, and Tucker now knew Quinn didn't mess up his things, and she said Quinn still has their votes if he's still on the block Thursday. Someone said Rubina told Quinn that Tucker's going to veto him off the block. I've been unable to confirm that (no Flashback problems) but if so, Quinn will undoubtedly mention it since he's allergic to keeping things to himself.Chelsie told Brooklyn she didn't think Kimo and T'kor were smart enough to orchestrate last week's flip, and she said her preferred boot order of the women was Leah, Angela, T'kor, Rubina, Makensy. You always have to factor in who someone's talking to, but let's not forget how hard T'kor has been going to bat for Chelsie this week. Chelsie then did her daily talk with us, predicting Tucker won't use veto and Quinn would be evicted. She also rattled off some Cam and Leah gossip, and when she got to the Cam's dirty laundry segment, feedmasters did a couple cycles of quick in/out zooms as she mentioned "ass crack juice." Joseph had a check-in with Angela, which was nice because she's had a couple meltdowns about being left out of gametalks. She later told Rubina she thought Joseph might be a little suss because he pulled her aside for a gametalk. Tucker told Leah everyone was snakes, and he didn't know if he'll veto Quinn now because Quinn had spilled about that plan after being told to keep it secret. And Tucker told Rubina that Brooklyn, Cam, Chelsie were all ratting each other out. Brooklyn talked about Mrs America more to Chelsie, inspiring a new drinking game to your left. Most of them spent a lot of time in the yard, enjoying their day off. Joseph admitted to us he has a crush on Leah, but said he wasn't going to let it jeopardize his game, and he was aware Quinn has a crush on her and she may still have a crush on Cam. Joseph later talked about that crush with Kimo. Brooklyn and Chelsie met with Rubina in HOH and stressed they were upset about being blindsided and not because Rubina stayed. Brooklyn said she wants to stay and continue to live and work with people she trusts: Rubina, Tucker, Chelsie. Chelsie added that nobody expected Rubina and Cedric to be the finals noms, so there was never much discussion about that (ha!). Rubina later reported to Tucker and said she didn't believe a word of any of it. Makensy joined them in HOH, and Tucker. Angela popped in like a friendly neighbor, then left again, and met with Joseph to say what a good talker Brooklyn is, correctly assuming they were conniving in HOH (at least before Makensy arrived). Kimo later told Angela that Joseph had said a couple times he wants to be sure she's included in alliance plans, which pleased her no end. Tucker told Joseph tomorrow's veto meeting will be "fuckin epic" and Joseph said he was enjoying Tucker's method acting. Quinn asked Tucker if they could meet later, with T'kor, Kimo, Rubina and Tucker said it'd be better if they talked one-on-one first, then with the others later. They did that right away on the backyard balcony and their positions and body language spoke volumes. Tucker said he still wasn't sure if he was using his veto or not, and then he said Brooklyn had ratted out her F2 with Quinn, who said "that hurts," and Tucker went on to say Brooklyn also ratted out Quinn's don't-tell convo with Tucker about Quinn going up as a pawn. Oop. Tucker said "you fucked up but you admitted it" where Brooklyn and Chelsie did not admit to their crimes. Tucker's trashed clothes came up again and Tucker said he now knew Brooklyn did that. He said he'll see how people react to the speeches tomorrow, and "you have to lie and deceive at certain points, some are loving it and some are acting like children." He said he has a whole laundry list of things he plans to bring up, and he also mentioned how Quinn had turned down his offers to partner up. Quinn took it all well, and then asked "in the exit press, do I hate your guts or not?" Yep, he did. Quinn told Rubina they'd met alone, and outted his F2 with Brooklyn and that she'd told Tucker about it. Brooklyn met with Tucker and said she hopes Quinn's the target (she is), and that she'll stay if it's him versus her on Thursday (she won't), and she doesn't know where people stand if it's her versus Cam. And she said the only person she has in there is Chelsie, which Tucker will surely add to his laundry list if he puts up Chelsie in Quinn's place. Meanwhile I haven't heard Cam have a single gametalk with anyone since going on the block, which is kind of mind-boggling. He went to HOH after Brooklyn left, but not to pitch to Tucker: he just went up there to use the bathroom. His non-game is an unusual game style, but it seems to be working for him. Chelsie lost her mind finding a bunch of empty drawers in the rock room because Cam's clothes are everywhere except in them. Cam walked in while she was sweeping, turned around, and walked back out. Cam finally made it back to HOH where Tucker told him through his toothbrush that he's still a pawn, and he didn't even need to win AI Arena. He added Cam would know how the votes would go by everyone's reactions after the Arena comp, and Cam said everyone ran to Brooklyn and Quinn after Tucker made his noms, and not one person came to him. Brooklyn suggested to a group that "hamsters are a conspiracy that no one talks about" because they're never seen in the wild. Leah said she's more concerned about eels because nobody knows how they reproduce. Angela learned to twerk and she was delighted about that. Kimo told T'kor there are "things going on" that have him confused, including Tucker being friendly with both Leah and Makensy, and T'kor suggested he talk to Tucker about his conversations. Tucker told Kimo he is using his veto but told him not to tell anyone, even T'kor. 6th Avenue less Joseph (Tanks) met in HOH for Tucker to rehash the weekend, and then he told them all he'll be using his veto on Quinn and replacing him with Chelsie. Brooklyn remains his target, and if she wins AI Arena, it's Chelsie. Sounds like we could have another Monday afternoon of popcorn-worthy feeds. Plan accordingly.
