Angela's been working hard to appear unbothered but was clearly nervousing before the veto comp. She laid it on thick and used her tiny almost-choking-up voice to tell Chelsie "I'm giving you my heart" and pledging her loyalty, adding she will protect Chelsie going forward, if she stays. Chelsie told her she probably would stay if she's on the block against Lisa or Kenney, and she said recent developments have moved some others up the target list (notably Leah, but Chelsie didn't mention her by name.)Cam and Cedric discussed Leah's heavy flirting with Cam, and Cedric said she was playing Cam for game. Quinn told Kimo he felt solid with him and T'kor, and that he was thinking of using his power next week to stir up the house. He also said he was in another alliance that he felt he was at the bottom of. He didn't name names but was probably referring to Pentagon. And he said he was wondering/worrying about podcasters critiquing his gameplay. Cam, Cedric, Tucker worked out as others chatted in the yard, waiting for the veto comp, and both Angela and Lisa continued attempting to seem unbothered. Lisa told Cam she was in focus mode and isolating herself to prep for the comp, and she added she'd be with everyone if she wasn't on slop. Brooklyn and Joseph were picked to play for veto, again. Feeds went down for their comp at 12.10pm and came back two hours later. Kenney won, and it sounded like a puzzle involving stacking of things. There was talk about certain pieces being specified as quadrilaterals rather than squares, and there was talk about rolling pieces, and fingering them. Competitors were wearing nerd costumes with suspenders and propellor beanies. Quinn had a bow tie and lab coat and said he was going to wear it til he dies, and/or to finale. Everyone gave him props for being a good host but he said he wasn't sure how to call the shots when they were underway because it was so fast and chaotic, but he added he was fed some lines. Kenney celebrated with Leah, including a high five and a hug. He said "let's do this, we can run this, very tactfully" and she said "just like we talked about." Kimo told T'kor he kind of wanted to volunteer to go up as a pawn to make it easy for Chelsie, but won't. Chelsie asked both Kenney and Angela (separately) if they had a renom preference. Neither specified anyone, and Chelsie told Kenney she wants Lisa's power exposed (*Makensy's power) but doesn't want to put up a renom Kenney wouldn't want to sit by. Quinn was talking about his costume in the yard when Angela asked to speak to him inside, and on the way she said "Lisa, wipe that stupid smirk off your face." Angela confronted Quinn in the bathroom and wanted to know why he'd told T'kor about her saying "that's the group" re Cam/Cedric/Chelsie/T'kor. Quinn denied telling T'kor, and said he'd only suggested that she check in with Angela to make sure they're good. Angela got wound up, like she does, and said she could tell he was lying to her, and "I'm just trying to help you," and Quinn said he hadn't made it a big deal, he just wanted to be sure they were all on the same page. T'kor joined and feeds cut, then soon cut again and stayed cut for an extended fishies. Feeds eventually returned but went off frequently again. At one point Angela sat alone eating an avocado, sadly and sniffly, as Kimo and T'kor walked past her into a bedroom. Angela said to herself "I'm gonna win that damn thing tomorrow, we'll see how nice everybody wants to be then because maybe I'll win HOH too." (That "damn thing" is five days away, ma'am.) Kimo and T'kor talked about forming an alliance with Kenney, and possibly Lisa, which would be a foursome nobody saw coming. Later Angela cried to Kimo, saying she thought she could trust him [Quinn] not to say anything, she was just trying to point out a group of people.." -cut to fishies. Cam told Leah not to be paranoid, that she was good with the majority of the house. Leah said she didn't want to be crucified because she couldn't fall asleep, regarding hanging out with Matt and Makensy at night last week. Lisa announced (again) that she is committed to giving every piece of herself to be fully present for this experience. Cam asked Tucker if he's spending too much time with Leah, drawing attention to the fact that he is. Tucker told Cam and Joseph he accused Makensy of having a power and her reaction convinced him he was right. And he said he was considering volunteering to be renom, which Makensy immediately reported to Chelsie. Makensy told Brooklyn (who already knew) about her power, and they talked about working with Chelsie, Leah, Rubina to have a girl power season. Makensy also told Tucker she had a power but she didn't spell out the details, at first. She did say "it can't hurt anyone else" (except the viewer-voted renom, hello?), but she eventually told him how it works and how long it's good for, but she didn't include the viewer vote part. Later Tucker told Cam, Kimo, T'kor that she has one of the powers. They got cornhole, and I have to wonder if that came out earlier than planned so they'd have something to do and talk about that wasn't on the feeds-cut list. Maybe not, since feeds kept cutting to extended fishies anyway. A lot of people threatened to cancel P+ subscriptions or give up on BB altogether, and a number of angry petitions were probably launched. Lisa and Makensy worked on slopcoctions including panko-encrusted slop balls and caramel flavor sticks. Rubina suggested to Tucker that he cozy up to Lisa to find out about her power (that she doesn't have). Tucker did a test drive, saying "hey Lisa" as he touched Rubina's leg. She jumped and said "don't do that," and suggested he try going shirtless when he approaches her. They agreed Lisa is highly performative and acts much more confident than she is. Midnight eventually rolled around after hours of fishies with a few glimpses of feeds in between, and most of them came out to the yard to sing Happy Birthday to Joseph(31). They hollered "throw him in the pool!" and rolled him up in a towel burrito but tickled him instead. He threw himself in the pool, and then they gave him a huge group hug. T'kor advised and shmoozed Lisa (well), and Leah flirted with Cam (loudly). GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story. It's a very messy, very fun season so far. Day 13 - Sunday - July 28, 2024In overnight news, Kimo, Quinn, T'kor formalized their F3 and Quinn told them about Pentagon alliance and how obvious it was that he and Brooklyn were at the bottom of that five, and Quinn pitched another F3 to Kimo and Joseph, to be called Crowboys. Sunday morning brought Lisa making a portrait of Joseph with bacon, eggs, berries, glitter for his birthday breakfast, with T'kor assisting, and they all sang Happy Birthday to him again. Except Angela, who stayed isolated in her bed, but later she gave him a birthday hug and said she was sorry she missed the festivities last night. Kenney said he'd told Angela to get back to socializing, but suggested she not talk game because her game's over. That's how he reported it anyway, I don't know if he worded it that way to her. Tucker gave informational talks about bees, and peregrine falcons, and griped to Chelsie about Lisa. Chelsie said she popped off at Angela last night - things we didn't see, and likely won't.Chelsie held one-on-ones behind the hammock, saying she'll be putting up Tucker as renom since he offered, and she hopes he'll win the AI Arena. She asked everyone when (if) that happens, whether they'd prefer Lisa or Angela go so she'd make the "right" decision if it's a tie vote. Opinions were split, but most didn't seem to care either way, with the consensus that both need to go sooner than later. Chelsie told several she hoped putting up Tucker would make Lisa use the power they think she has. (Reminder, Chelsie already knows Makensy has the veto power.) Chelsie pitched pros and cons for both women, subtly leaning into her original anti-Lisa stance as she did, and she got people talking and debating between Angela and Lisa in small groups after they met with her. Cam brought up the perceptions that he and Leah are giving showmance vibes (which Chelsie also knows because she started that around), and he asked advice for "getting away" from Leah. Kimo gave Angela a hug and peptalk, which is the kind of thing he does often and well. That's very good social currency, in BB and in life. Lisa made slop balls with Italian aioli which were a hit with most, along with condiment slopsicles, so she talked at length about her ingredients and techniques, and the processes she went through in her test kitchen last night to perfect the recipe. Tucker started second-guessing his offer to go up as renom, and he told Joseph about Makensy's power. BB called Joseph and all to the pantry where they found a bottle of wine, six beers, party hats, streamers, and cake mix. Joseph immediately chugged a beer and everyone installed their tiny hats. Cedric told Makensy he wanted to warn her about the vote but the risk/reward wasn't in his favor. She said it's fine, she understands, and isn't holding it against anyone. Joseph told Cedric he was glad to be in the small club of people who've had birthdays in there, and he was pleased everyone was being so nice to him. He said he'd been apprehensive about how he'd be accepted since he's a "quirky" guy. Tucker told Angela he'll be the renom, and he thinks they'll flush out Lisa's [non-existent] power, and he gave her a hug and said she's doing better today. Kenney gave his shoutouts to his people at home. He may be the first hamster who talks more to the cameras than to his roomies. Leah told Chelsie about her Cam/Tucker situation, saying she was attracted to both, and "may the best man win." Chelsie encouraged her to feel things out with Tucker. Leah also said she wasn't playing all sides, game-wise. Angela perked up a bit. Tucker finally had his talk with Lisa, as suggested by Rubina, but it didn't go well. He said they should team up, and he knows she voted for Matt and has a power giving her a double or triple vote. She denied even though she did vote for Matt, and wanted to know who said that. Tucker wouldn't name names and added he knew it was true because he's observant. Both agreed F2s have to be completely transparent with each other, and they continued butting heads over the issues. Tucker finally said he knows she's not a chef because she didn't know about coarse pepper, and said they were going in circles, and they ended. Unfortunately, Lisa was not wearing her party hat for that snippy convo, but Tucker was. Tucker launched retell rounds, and Lisa plopped on the bathroom couch to stew before starting hers. Kimo told T'kor he overheard some of the Lisa/Tucker chat, and T'kor told him she was becoming frustrated with/about Lisa. Joseph's birthday dinner was served and booze rationed while the episode ran, Lisa and Tucker went another round in Have-not, and Leah asked Rubina if she had anything going with Tucker. It's been a long 13 days without a break, so I am taking one. I'll catch up night/overnight events tomorrow, if any, probably. GET YOUR FEEDS to get the real story.
