Day 71 - Wednesday - September 14, 2022
The hamster soap opera continued today much like yesterday. Monte, Taylor, Turner were the last ones awake, and they finally turned in around 6.30am. Taylor snuck up the stairs behind Monte to join him in HOH, and they lingered there through many wakeup calls this morning until they finally got up around noon. And she wondered how she'd sneak downstairs, though chances are good the others knew she was up there. Consensus out here is they have done more than make out, due to snippets of sleepy convo between them. Things like him referring to "uncaged snake" and her asking "can you hold me for just a little bit longer?" were followed up by her saying "you can taste me all day" and him saying "you snatched my soul" and "an out of body experience." So I've added them to the other tally below as unconfirmed but likely.
Brittany was in a better mood today, especially when Taylor told her she'd been angry at Monte for waffling about the vote and she'd spent a long time last night scolding him about it. Later Brittany commented about the slumber parties, and asked something about Taylor getting her crush, or something about crush. Both laughed, Brittany said she had to ask, Taylor said "I know you did," and she left it at that. Taylor then reiterated about being upset with Monte last night. Brittany told her Monte and Turner are closer than they thought, and that Monte had known Turner was going to nominate the two of them on his second HOH, after Dyre Fest. Alyssa and Turner joined them in the golf room for afternoon chat and naps.
Brittany later had a whisper with Alyssa, telling her she was still "all in" with keeping her, but she didn't want it to blow up in her face. She asked Alyssa to let her know if Turner does talk to her tonight to say he can't keep her, and Alyssa said she would. (However, recall that Turner didn't like Alyssa threatening future friendship if he votes her out, so he may not give her that warning tonight that he'd previously planned to do.) And Alyssa told Brittany that she'd tell Taylor that she thought Brittany was still undecided.
Alyssa had a quick chat with Turner, asking "I still one thousand percent have you?" and he said yes. She then asked if she has him "one thousand one million percent" so she doesn't have to ask him again and annoy him, and he again said yes. Later she went to HOH to ask Monte about a tie. He was having a bath so she sat across the room and said she'd talked to Turner and thought she had his vote, and she'd talked to Brittany who said she was still undecided, and she knew that probably meant no especially as Brittany and Taylor were tight. She said "all I ask is that you think about it" and make the best decision for his game, and there'd be no hard feelings no matter what. Monte said he appreciated her saying that. Later he told Taylor he'd left it vague but maybe he'd tell Alyssa tomorrow she'll be going if it's a tie.
The two voters had a pantry meeting (after another Brittany/Alyssa whisper session). Turner said he didn't like Alyssa threatening him with her jury vote or post-season friendship, so he'd told her he'll vote her way but he won't, and he said he has or will explain in his farewell message that he can't go against the house at final four. Brittany asked if he'd be open to a sympathy vote and they'd force a tie for Monte to decide, and he said he'd consider it. Brittany said Alyssa thinks she has Turner, and said she was "voting that way anyway" - meaning voting to evict Alyssa, but it seems Brittany's planning to evict Taylor and was trying to get Turner to do the same, to take it out of Monte's hands. Turner told her he'd let her know what he decides.
They made cinnamon rolls but dropped the icing down the back of the stove. BB yelled at them when they attempted to pull out the stove to retrieve it, so there was a choice of expired Cool Whip or pumpkin cream cheese for icing, or no icing. Monte met with the therapist but didn't give any details - not that weren't blocked anyway. Maybe the vote will be settled later tonight, or maybe tomorrow, or maybe it'll be the first wildcard vote of the season. As of now, I think Monte would break a tie in Taylor's favor, but Brittany's been working hard to make it 2-0 Taylor goes, which would blindside her, Turner, and Monte, along with a lot of viewers.
UPDATE During a break from group cards, Turner whispered to Monte and Taylor that Brittany tried to get him to flip his vote. So that would bring it back to a tie, with Monte evicting Alyssa, and Brittany will go into Final Four back on top of the others' hit lists.

Day 70 - Tuesday - September 13, 2022
They were up all night again, and the all-five sleepover plan fell through somehow or other but Taylor stayed in HOH. She and Monte put themselves on the makeout tally at 8.05am this morning, possibly the first time an HOH and their nominee landed on that particular tally. Feeds left them for quite a while then, and naturally feedsters lost their minds with curiosity and speculation, but all we know for sure is what we saw, as of now. BB harassed them all to get up and change batteries between 11am and noon. Taylor sleepily told Monte "no one can know" during one of those brief bits of semi-consciousness as they continued to ignore the announcements.

Wakeup calls kept coming along with mic announcements for Taylor, Monte, Turner. Alyssa later said they'd been told there was something in the pantry that would expire, so she and Brittany ran in there only to be told it was meant to be incentive for the others to get up. Around 2pm Taylor gave Monte a little smooch on the chest and made a little cooing noise, and then she rolled away because Alyssa came in and turned on the HOH lights. Monte and Taylor were all grins over their coffee, making flirty but vague references to [whatever] they got up to after the morning feeds left them on their own.
Alyssa visited Turner and asked him to drag her when he talks to Brittany. Kitchen talk turned to Michael, his exit, and his impressive game, as Brittany eavesdropped from the bathroom, becoming increasingly more miserable. Alyssa joined her and began to campaign, and Brittany complained about "sleepovers til 8am" that she wasn't part of, and getting berated for two hours the other night, and saying the vote wasn't up to her, and her vote doesn't count. At one point she was crying as she put on masacara. She and Alyssa had an angst-off as each complained about their horrible situations and everything that had gotten them here. Brittany told Alyssa that Turner had told everyone about Alyssa's sex confession (which I thought she already knew), and Brittany then told her Turner had already made an agreement to evict Alyssa, and he was going to tell her Wednesday night. Taylor joined them a couple times, and some of Terrance's nasty comments were also discussed. Rehash upon rehash led to Alyssa saying "fuck you [Terrance], fuck you Kyle, and fuck you Joseph."
Brittany inadvertently recreated the Tiffany Pollard bed meme as she philosophized aloud about her current standing, that she's alone and doesn't trust anyone, and that she only wants to get to the final two chairs. She said she was "not afraid to blow some shit up" and she complained about "their slumber parties til 8 in the morning, are you kidding me? I went to bed at 2, they stayed up til 8am, that's clearly against the rules of Big Brother" (no), and "celebrating their final threeness without me, and it pisses me off." Alyssa pitched to Turner, asking if he made a deal to vote her out, and he said no, she has him on her side and she just needs to convert one or two other people. He said "I will not betray you, Alyssa" and he promised that when she asked him to. Turner went to HOH and retold that to Monte, saying it was a very emotional and upsetting conversation, "which sucks a lot." He said Alyssa said she wouldn't be friends with him after the show if he votes her out, and she wouldn't have his finals vote. Turner said he was sad to hear that, but also annoyed. Alyssa and Brittany had additional whispery convos about all of it, and how to proceed from here. Brittany told her she is "99.9%" voting to keep Alyssa.
Things quieted down by 10pm or so, with plans to play cards and/or Chinese checkers. Those plans were Alyssa, Monte, Taylor, Turner - Brittany again chose to go to bed instead: she was not excluded by anyone but herself.

Day 69 - Monday - September 12, 2022
Last night's booze delivery ended up with a sleepover in HOH: Turner, Monte, Alyssa, Taylor all shared the bed. This morning Brittany told Alyssa she'll be napping when the rest of them do today, to try to synch up her sleep schedule to theirs. (FOMO.) Taylor wasn't happy about going on the block again, the second time by Monte, and told us she doesn't know if she can trust him about this vote or not. She told Brittany that Monte and Turner had a "gentleman's agreement" and Brittany said it would have been nice to hear that yesterday from Monte, rather than him listing all the things she'd done wrong.
Brittany used her veto on herself, and Monte put up Taylor in her place, as planned. They had breakfast burritos, then they napped all afternoon, with BB playing "no napping" announcements every half hour or so.
Turner sat down with Brittany to "clear the air" about their bathroom convo. He said he told people about it because she'd already shared some of it and he felt betrayed, so he shared the rest of it. And he said he knew she'd been pitching to get him out. Brittany sputtered, like she does, apologizing and saying she could have handled it better. He said he doesn't take any of it personally and they'll be friends after, but he said she pitched an F2 to him and the next day tried to get him out. She blamed Michael, and her situation of working with Michael versus working for herself, and Michael Michael Michael. And she said Michael knew about that convo and that she'd done it to help him (what?!) She said her trust with Monte was irreparable, and Turner said things could be repaired between Brittany and himself (hoping to set himself up for F4 and possibly F3.) Brittany said she knew Turner has a deal with Monte to vote out Alyssa, which seemed to surprise Turner, but he acknowledged that was true, and he asked Brittany not to leak that to Alyssa. Turner then told Monte, Taylor, Alyssa separately that he'd had a "clear the air" convo with Brittany, and he told Alyssa if she does happen to go this week, she better not go out without any hugs. Alyssa said she wouldn't.
All five gathered on the backyard balcony to watch the sunset and wave at passing helicopters as they discussed all the other shows they might end up on after this. It's possible this is the last night they'll have the yard, depending on the F4 and F3 comps setups, but I don't think they thought of it that way. (Also, they think the finale is two days later than it is.) Alyssa then campaigned a bit to Brittany, who played along and asked if Michael said anything about her before he left. Alyssa said yes, Michael told her she'd been lying about a lot including her career. And Monte retold his Brittany convo to Monte in more detail. Brittany talked to herself/us about Michael outing her profession and stressing about whether she should confess now or not. (She doesn't realize none of them gave that comment of Michael's a second thought, and they won't be surprised if/when she tells them she's a hypnotherapist - they guessed it the first time she did a group session with them.) They got two decks of cards which made them happy.
Alyssa compared notes with Monte, Taylor, Turner about Pooch's eviction, Ameerah's blindside, Daniel and Kyle's veto into Nicole's eviction, and other early events. Alyssa was surprised to learn about a lot of it, but the others were more surprised when she told them Old Skool was never much of a thing. She said it was formed and named, and that was it. The Leftovers leftovers were flabbergasted, saying they thought it was a driving force and they joined up to counteract it, based on Kyle's intel via Alyssa. They later told Brittany who was also surprised to hear about it. Turner then stuck his foot in it by telling Alyssa that Kyle had said the other side would blame Alyssa for their downfall because she told him about Old Skool, and Alyssa should know that before she goes to jury. Taylor was called to Diary, and Alyssa got choked up, saying she figured Taylor was probably staying this week because she'd mentioned the upcoming comps and now "when you go to jury," but could she have conversations before they make final decisions? They fumbled a bit and said oh they meant when she eventually goes to jury, or talks with everyone later, and of course they'll each hear her campaign pitch.
They'd cracked open some remaining hard ciders and earlier they'd made potential plans for another HOH sleepover after cards, including Brittany if she wanted to join.

Ratings - Nutshell edition
Ratings are based on entertainment value - I'm still looking for some
Noms count: original/renom

Are there things they could improve? Absolutely. But the episodes have placed first for their timeslots for virtually every show this summer, and that's their priority in a nutshell.
|

Won: $5,000; Week 1 Backstage Pass; Movie guest
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 4/0 Have-not 1
In a nutshell, she's been out of most every loop all season and hasn't won anything. She said she was voted Most Flirtatious in high school, and that tracks since she'll be remembered for 10 seconds on a pool floatie.
|

Won: Week 1 Backstage Pass; Week 1 viewer safety vote; Week 5 immunity (HOH Bestie)
HOH 0 - Veto 2 - Co-veto 1 - Noms 4/0 Have-not 0
In a nutshell, she's got two game modes: losing and crying, or safe/winning and gloating. The only things she's engineered herself have been bizarre lies that were instantly found out and proven wrong.
|

Won: TBA
HOH 2 - Veto 1 - Noms 2/0 Have-not 1
In a nutshell, bros.
|

Won: Week 5 surviving Bestie pick; 48 hr Fancy tied to Joseph; Movie guest
HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/3 Have-not 0
In a nutshell, she had the roughest start and the hardest road to recovery as we've ever seen. Yet she's still here.
|

Won: Movie guest
HOH 3 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 Have-not 1
In a nutshell, I feel like he works hard to appear edgy and anti-mainstream, but when he lets down that wall of aloofness, he gets along just fine with the mainstreamers.
|

Won: $2,500(?); Movie screening
HOH 3 - Veto 5 - Co-veto 1 - Noms 2/1 Have-not 1
6th juror - 10th evicted - Day 65
He was visibly uncomfortable and socially awkward at first when there were so many of them, and he landed on the block, but he won that first veto and started to settle in better. Then he won the next veto and normally that might have put a target on him, but then Leftovers formed and brought him in with Brittany, partly because of his valuable comp skills. He went on to break the veto record with six, along with three HOHS to tie Janelle's longstanding record. He settled in pretty well and he was well-aligned, but he isolated with Brittany too much and hadn't covered his get-around bases enough when Leftovers fell apart, and his bad timing for outing Kyle's problematic pitches plus his comp skills got him the boot. He went out with a bang and a swift, iconic exit.
|

Won: Week 4 surviving Bestie pick; Week 4 immunity (HOH Bestie); 1 week 4.5 days Ink 182 temp tats
HOH 1 - Veto 1 - Noms 4/1 Have-not 1
5th juror - 9th evicted - Day 65
Sometimes he was friendly and charming, and other times he was nasty and vile. He tended to tell people what they wanted to hear, and that might be nice things or it might be awful things, depending who it was about and when. He wasn't plugged in to what was going on around him so he and his fellow 'Convenience Store' teamies were continually outplayed and occasionally blindsided. He did win the Dyre Fest HOH and veto, and he fell for Kyle's rehash version of things when they were in the backyard, because Kyle got to him before Joseph did. He said later he regretted that, but what was done was done. He did have some good stories, and he told them well, and he was a good sport about his 182 tattoos task.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Co-veto 1 - Noms 0/3 Have-not 1
4th juror - 8th evicted - Day 58
He was in a very good spot, juggling multiple alliances successfully, and he was pivotal in Leftovers forming when he spilled things Alyssa had told him, betraying her confidence. Then they kissed and he started leaning her way over both his bros and Leftovers, and then they did sexytime and that was it. He blew up all his alliances, spilling everything to Terrance in Dyre Fest in order to get Joseph gone, which happened. But Kyle only got one extra week from that because his Cookout 2.0 theory came out via Michael and Brittany, and that was the end for him. He'll be remembered for that, and for his self-admitted 10-second sex, and for generally being an immature boy in a grown man's body.
|

Won: Week 4 immunity (HOH Bestie); 48 hr Skid tied to Taylor
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0 Have-not 1
3rd juror - 7th evicted - Day 51
He often said he hoped this wouldn't be a season with fights and hostilities, and for the most part it wasn't. But it's still a dirty game and he played loyal, even while he was double-dipping, at least until he had no choice among the Dyre Fest outsiders, since Kyle spilled the Leftover beans out there way before he did. He often gametalked for too long, but he was good at creating chaos, and he also had great stories about his childhood and teen adventures. His birthday joined the epic BB birthdays when the Leftovers formed and took aim at the other side, taking them out one by one (with several bonus blindsides) until the split house twist split them up, and he was the first casualty of that. His friendship/flirtmance with Taylor was fun to watch.
|

Won: Week 3 immunity (HOH Bestie); London trip
HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 Have-not 1
2nd juror - 6th evicted - Day 51
She participated in the early Taylor bashing but eased up on it as her friends left and she lost people to bash with. She was the comic relief of the season in so many ways, from her ridiculous Diary accent and lines, to her twisted ankle that went on and on and on, not to mention her inability to use crutches or cane properly for it. She annoyed many of them as a roommate, she stashed her favorite foods, and she talked incessantly about herself. #JasmineStories sounded like tall tales, especially as they continued to pile up, but her old Twitter account proved quite a few of them were true, or at least had a basis in truth. Her ongoing feud with Turner was a season highlight, especially when he stole half a muffin and she made a federal case about it.
|

Won: Punkaroo 1 week concerts
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0 Have-not 1
1st juror - 5th evicted - Day 44
She was often loud and often acted more like she was playing BB Brasil than USA, with more attention given to her frequent (loud) shoutouts and camera messages than to the game going on around her. She was another of the early season Taylor haters but it lingered on with Indy after the others left or backed off. Indy was one of the few who confronted Taylor face to face (over soup), but her most vicious was a tirade to Joseph saying she HATES it when he and the guys talk with Taylor. But she was often fun and upbeat, and she was a better sport about her Punkaroo punkitard than most expected. And I always give kudos for non-native English speakers in this game that's based around whispers, conversations, and retells.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Co-veto 1 - Noms 0/1 Have-not 1
4th evicted - Day 37
Day 18 to Taylor: 'Don't speak to me until finale. The thing you did to Paloma you're trying to do to [Nicole], you can fuck right off. You don't think America's watching all that? You don't think so? From here on out do not speak to me. I will never forget what you did to Paloma. You think she didn't spiral because of you? You didn't add to that? And now you're trying to do it to Nicole, mind game. Do not speak to Nicole like that ever again.'
Don't get it twisted. First, mental illness doesn't work that way. Second, Terrance first suggested all that, Nicole planted it in Daniel's head, and he's the one who ran rabid with it, with her urging and blessing. They were peas from the same rotten pod and each fed off the other's vileness. I hope I never hear about either of these Toxic Twins again.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1 Have-not 1
3rd evicted - Day 30
Arrogant, aggressive, entitled, overbearing, self-serving and self-centered. She took over the Taylor hate train when Paloma left and ran it off the rails. She had no redeemable watchable qualities, least of all being entertaining in the slightest. I thought about doing Ozark ratings some week but I lost my Wendy Byrde with her exit. Verbatim quote from this 'superfan': 'They've done something that no other alliance has ever done in this game, in Big Brother history, they created a pact of people to make you think you're safe and say I got your back, and then this [betrayal] happens.' Hello? Welcome to BB.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1 Have-not 0
2nd evicted - Day 23
She was one of the Taylor haters under Paloma's direction, but she kept it up after Paloma's exit, even after Turner referred to it in his noms speech. That was one reason she went on the block as backdoor target and eventual exit, along with Michael and Kyle stressing her general smarts. She pushed for Pooch to go after he volunteered himself, and then she was blindsided when it was her own turn to meet Julie.
|

Won: Week 1 Backstage Boss/immunity
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 Have-not 1
1st evicted - Day 16
Volunteering to go on the block is always dicey, but especially as early as he did before any real trust is formed. And now he knows why. He's lucky Julie was COVID-distanced or she might have whacked him. He put all his eggs in a broken Oasis basket, and he irritated a lot of them with his antics and touchy-feely. When Joseph tried to help and warn him about that, he just got mad at Joseph. Like Paloma, he talked constantly and very, very fast. He seems like he's got a good heart so good luck to him from here.
|

Won: Week 1 Backstage Pass
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0 Have-not 0
Left the game - Day 8
She drove the game at the start, and she ignited and fueled the unjustified Taylor hate which continued to thrive even after she left. When she started to spiral, her conspiracy theories and delusions would have been comical if they weren't indicative of something more serious going on. It was probably best for her to go when she did, and for me - her nonstop superfast talking was stressing me out.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0 Have-not 0
He was replaced pre-season by Joseph, but you can catch him on America's Got Talent and The Circle.
