Daily Feeds Recaps
Day 66 - Friday - September 9, 2022
Feeds finally returned around 2.20am last night. Monte won the second HOH comp last night. It was a "black box" comp with Horror Fest haunted house theme. Those comps are individual runs requiring apparatus resets between them, so that explains the lengthy feeds block. Brittany was close, and Taylor panicked and quit.
Turner got his HOH stuff just before 3am and they gathered in the pantry for that, rather than cart it to the living room like usual. His letter was from girlfriend Megan again. I think his booze was beer. All but Brittany toasted with Michael's left-behind hard cider around 3.45am, but Brittany joined later. Monte finally got his room and stuff around 4.30am which included a letter from his dad, music by Burna Boy. He'd requested hard cider but didn't get that yet (booze cutoff is 2am in California). Both guys got emotional reading their letters, and both got hoodies and bucket hats, and the usual assortment of enough food and drink to stock a convenience store.

This cast has often stayed up til 5 or 6am but that was their choice. Since BB kept them up last night with the comp and waiting on Monte's room, they were apparently allowed to sleep til afternoon today. I did hear Alyssa and Brittany at one point saying they knew they'd be going on the block so they needed to just relax and chill, and be glad they won't be blindsided.
Monte nominated Alyssa and Brittany, as planned. Everyone wore hoodies for the ceremony, and all but Monte were hanging around and chit-chatting afterwards. It was the second time in 24 hours for both Alyssa and Brittany, and the fourth time on the block for each. Brittany immediately met with Monte to have one of her patented "clear the air" rehash convos (which tend to reek of desperation). They talked about Michael's comments about her in his speech last night, and Brittany again said Michael didn't have any self-awareness of where he was in the game. (And again, I say hogwash.) Alyssa met with Monte after that. Monte asked each of them a question or two, and each of them threw some dirt on the other.
Brittany had another sad camera talk, yesterday was hard, she's isolated, don't go on BB to make friends, and the like. Alyssa and Taylor talked about BB Canada 6 and Paras's win, saying that season was "one they told us to watch." Monte said he hadn't been told to watch any Canada seasons. Which begs the question: if they're recommending seasons to watch before they move in, why are they different for different people? Theoretically that could take "know your role" to a new level, almost with assigned roles? Not to mention a pre-set uneven playing field from jump. Taylor was called for her therapy session after last night's anxiety attack in the comp, as Monte was preparing salmon for dinner. He asked Alyssa what's Sarasota like, what are the demographics? She said "it's a big melting pot." Wikipedia says it's 77% white.
They had salmon dinner together, except Taylor who was at her therapy session. Afterwards Alyssa, Brittany, Turner each returned to their beds. Taylor met with Monte in HOH to compare notes. Monte told her about his meeting with Brittany, that she'd lied about things like saying she'd told Michael about trying to work against him, but they knew she hadn't, she'd only approached Turner. And Monte said Brittany had pointed to Taylor for pushing the girls alliance to F3, and Taylor told him no, it was Alyssa pushing hard on that one. Taylor asked who Monte would put up if Alyssa or Brittany win veto. He stumbled a bit, and said "I think the shout would have to be.." He didn't openly say Turner but it was implied. And they agreed either of them or Turner was likely to win the veto rather than Alyssa or Brittany. Turner joined them and and Monte retold his Brittany meeting again. Alyssa then joined and they continued talking about Brittany's lies. Brittany then joined so all five were in HOH, and the talk was chit-chat.
Monte finally got his HOH hard cider. They were told they'll have an early veto comp tomorrow so they talked about going to bed early, but we know how that often pans out.

Day 65 - Thursday - September 8, 2022
Most of them played hide and seek last night, and Turner hid out in a pantry cupboard for some 20 minutes or more. BB eventually told the seekers to "check the storage room" where they finally found him. Taylor and Turner hung out with Michael in HOH until almost 5am where they talked about the comics again, among other topics. Michael pretended he didn't realize Brittany's flea comic painted her as a parasite being carried, but he "guessed" exactly that when Taylor gave a teaser about it. And Taylor said about Kyle's "there's no way this family summer show is making erection jokes." Yes way.
They carried their bedding to HOH for today's HOH lockdown for tonight's double eviction show tech rehearsal, which started about two hours earlier than usual, which may or may not mean anything. Many are asking if they'll be told about Queen Elizabeth's passing and while they might in an effort to be topical and relevant, the whole premise of the show is about being cut off from the world so I kind of doubt it. They eventually told the BB2 final three about 9/11 because Monica had lost a cousin. Otherwise there's no way to know if or how they'd have let them know why their live shows were delayed.
Julie kicked off the show with a faulty teleprompter apparently, referring to her cards to introduce the double eviction show and herself. The first hour was once again dedicated to recaps, catchup, reruns, fluff, plus a jury house segment showing Jasmine, Joseph, Kyle joining Indy and retelling both the split house week and Kyle's downfall. Then Terrance was evicted 4-0 at 6.55pm BB/Pacific time. He said "y'all know I gotta do a Daniel" and he left with no hugs. When the show flashed back to the remainders inside, they said something about there being only five minutes left, but maybe they'd start the HOH comp to finish on Sunday's show. So while several knew a double was likely, they hadn't yet figured it out for sure.
The live HOH comp was Laser Focus where they saw videos of parody DJs with laser light sequences in various colors. They had seven questions like which color was second, which color did not appear, etc. Alyssa fell behind and Monte and Turner jumped ahead early, but Monte missed the last one and Turner won. In the quick scurry that double eviction shows always entail, he told Alyssa, and Monte, that he was going to put her up and "take the shot." He nominated Brittany and Alyssa.
The veto comp was Amp It Up, the second comp since Terrance walked the plank just a few minutes earlier to have a DJ theme. Everyone played, each had a cable attached to their belt, and they had to maneuver themselves in, under, and around a turntable stand until they'd untangled enough cable to reach across the yard to plug into their "amp". It was a good comp and a frantic one. Michael ran for the plug twice but didn't have enough rope to reach, and his belt broke at some point and he kept going, but Monte won.

Monte used his veto on Alyssa, Michael begged for his BB life, including reminding Turner they'd agreed on LGBTQ solidarity, but Turner put him up against Brittany anyway, saying he "had to open up first place." Brittany was visibly crushed but doubly so when Michael added another nominee speech scorcher to the tally, saying Monte and Turner were going to stick together and win to the end, and he said Brittany leaked info and made F2s all over town this week. Everyone already knew that but Brittany didn't know they knew.

But like the other nominee speech scorchers, this one didn't help and Michael was evicted 3-0. He said "everyone please stay seated, I have one thing I'd like to say" and he bolted out the door in my favorite BB exit since OTT Cornbread's. He told Julie he didn't actually have something to say to them but just wanted to get out of there. He told her they did the right thing for their own games by booting him, and said he would have been loyal to Brittany and Taylor. Julie acknowledged that he'd beaten Janelle's record for most veto wins in a season (also previously held/tied by Daniele D, Paul, Kaycee), but she did not mention he'd also tied Janelle's record for most combined HOH and veto wins with nine.
Feeds came back and Brittany was in full spiral, crying about being on the block with Michael, and his speech about her, and leaving without a good-bye, and losing him as a friend. She cried to Taylor, and to Alyssa, and to Turner. She told Taylor "he just didn't understand that people were after him, he just didn't get it" (hogwash!) but Taylor just said "oh.. interesting" and gave her several hugs. They all helped to pack up Michael's things and said he was a great competitor and a great person, and that he'd done an iconic exit. Alyssa told Taylor and Turner that Michael had told her in the quickie campaign moments that Brittany was "lying about everything and lying about her career." So that'll be known by Monte as well momentarily, as Alyssa and Turner are both extremely leaky when it comes to secrets. Brittany's spiral continued to deepen as she told Alyssa she didn't know what to do now, and "I just want to know why I freaking can't do anything for myself? That's the reoccurring theme in my life is always thinking about other people." (She was trying to do plenty for herself when she set up all those alternate F2s and trashed Taylor, but I digress.) Alyssa tried to tell her she'd be okay, that she'd survived losing Kyle, and they were both still there, and etc etc.
Feeds went to anipals at 9.14pm for the next HOH comp and hadn't returned as of 12.45am, so I'll catch that up tomorrow.

He was in a very good spot, juggling multiple alliances successfully, and he was pivotal in Leftovers forming when he spilled things Alyssa had told him, betraying her confidence. Then they kissed and he started leaning her way over both his bros and Leftovers, and then they did sexytime and that was it. He blew up all his alliances, spilling everything to Terrance in Dyre Fest in order to get Joseph gone, which happened. But Kyle only got one extra week from that because his Cookout 2.0 theory came out via Michael and Brittany, and that was the end for him. He'll be remembered for that, and for his self-admitted 10-second sex, and for generally being an immature boy in a grown man's body.

Won: Week 4 immunity (HOH Bestie); 48 hr Skid tied to Taylor
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0 Have-not 1
3rd juror - 7th evicted - Day 51
He often said he hoped this wouldn't be a season with fights and hostilities, and for the most part it wasn't. But it's still a dirty game and he played loyal, even while he was double-dipping, at least until he had no choice among the Dyre Fest outsiders, since Kyle spilled the Leftover beans out there way before he did. He often gametalked for too long, but he was good at creating chaos, and he also had great stories about his childhood and teen adventures. His birthday joined the epic BB birthdays when the Leftovers formed and took aim at the other side, taking them out one by one (with several bonus blindsides) until the split house twist split them up, and he was the first casualty of that. His friendship/flirtmance with Taylor was fun to watch.

Won: Week 3 immunity (HOH Bestie); London trip
HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 Have-not 1
2nd juror - 6th evicted - Day 51
She participated in the early Taylor bashing but eased up on it as her friends left and she lost people to bash with. She was the comic relief of the season in so many ways, from her ridiculous Diary accent and lines, to her twisted ankle that went on and on and on, not to mention her inability to use crutches or cane properly for it. She annoyed many of them as a roommate, she stashed her favorite foods, and she talked incessantly about herself. #JasmineStories sounded like tall tales, especially as they continued to pile up, but her old Twitter account proved quite a few of them were true, or at least had a basis in truth. Her ongoing feud with Turner was a season highlight, especially when he stole half a muffin and she made a federal case about it.
|

Won: Punkaroo 1 week concerts
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0 Have-not 1
1st juror - 5th evicted - Day 44
She was often loud and often acted more like she was playing BB Brasil than USA, with more attention given to her frequent (loud) shoutouts and camera messages than to the game going on around her. She was another of the early season Taylor haters but it lingered on with Indy after the others left or backed off. Indy was one of the few who confronted Taylor face to face (over soup), but her most vicious was a tirade to Joseph saying she HATES it when he and the guys talk with Taylor. But she was often fun and upbeat, and she was a better sport about her Punkaroo punkitard than most expected. And I always give kudos for non-native English speakers in this game that's based around whispers, conversations, and retells.

Won: Nothing
HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Co-veto 1 - Noms 0/1 Have-not 1
4th evicted - Day 37
Day 18 to Taylor: 'Don't speak to me until finale. The thing you did to Paloma you're trying to do to [Nicole], you can fuck right off. You don't think America's watching all that? You don't think so? From here on out do not speak to me. I will never forget what you did to Paloma. You think she didn't spiral because of you? You didn't add to that? And now you're trying to do it to Nicole, mind game. Do not speak to Nicole like that ever again.'
Don't get it twisted. First, mental illness doesn't work that way. Second, Terrance first suggested all that, Nicole planted it in Daniel's head, and he's the one who ran rabid with it, with her urging and blessing. They were peas from the same rotten pod and each fed off the other's vileness. I hope I never hear about either of these Toxic Twins again.

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1 Have-not 1
3rd evicted - Day 30
Arrogant, aggressive, entitled, overbearing, self-serving and self-centered. She took over the Taylor hate train when Paloma left and ran it off the rails. She had no redeemable watchable qualities, least of all being entertaining in the slightest. I thought about doing Ozark ratings some week but I lost my Wendy Byrde with her exit. Verbatim quote from this 'superfan': 'They've done something that no other alliance has ever done in this game, in Big Brother history, they created a pact of people to make you think you're safe and say I got your back, and then this [betrayal] happens.' Hello? Welcome to BB.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1 Have-not 0
2nd evicted - Day 23
She was one of the Taylor haters under Paloma's direction, but she kept it up after Paloma's exit, even after Turner referred to it in his noms speech. That was one reason she went on the block as backdoor target and eventual exit, along with Michael and Kyle stressing her general smarts. She pushed for Pooch to go after he volunteered himself, and then she was blindsided when it was her own turn to meet Julie.
|

Won: Week 1 Backstage Boss/immunity
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 Have-not 1
1st evicted - Day 16
Volunteering to go on the block is always dicey, but especially as early as he did before any real trust is formed. And now he knows why. He's lucky Julie was COVID-distanced or she might have whacked him. He put all his eggs in a broken Oasis basket, and he irritated a lot of them with his antics and touchy-feely. When Joseph tried to help and warn him about that, he just got mad at Joseph. Like Paloma, he talked constantly and very, very fast. He seems like he's got a good heart so good luck to him from here.
|

Won: Week 1 Backstage Pass
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0 Have-not 0
Left the game - Day 8
She drove the game at the start, and she ignited and fueled the unjustified Taylor hate which continued to thrive even after she left. When she started to spiral, her conspiracy theories and delusions would have been comical if they weren't indicative of something more serious going on. It was probably best for her to go when she did, and for me - her nonstop superfast talking was stressing me out.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0 Have-not 0
He was replaced pre-season by Joseph, but you can catch him on America's Got Talent and The Circle.
