Day 31 - Friday - August 5, 2022
Michael finally got his room around 2.13am. He got assorted snacks, assorted clothes (hoodie, socks), hard cider, music by Marina, pics and letter from fiancé Hayden that included updates about their cats. Various of them lingered afterwards, like they do, for pre-pre-noms meetings. Kyle told Michael he felt there was "a possibility of those six with that background [Indy, Jasmine, Joseph, Monte, Taylor, Terrence], it looks very similar to the Cookout, with a very diverse background." And he said "that's my biggest fear right now."
Leftovers less Joseph finally met in the wee hours and agreed Daniel was still the target, and Turner, Monte, and even Taylor agreed they'd go up with their Besties as pre-veto pawns if necessary, but it will likely be Joseph/Monte/Terrance. Monte may have unintentionally added fuel to Kyle's wack theory by telling them Jasmine and Indy had pitched an alliance to include him and Joseph, and "one other, maybe Terrance."
The ongoing baked goods war carried on with Turner smashing Jasmine's carefully bagged and tagged cookies by adding a lime to the baggie, and then he added some water to it. He did a couple little "ta-da" moves for the cameras and for Michael, who watched from HOH, laughing. Kyle apologized to Indy for being "inappropriate" last night, making noise coming and going out of the room to snuggle and make out with Alyssa. I guess Indy was trying to sleep so popped off on them at the time. She accepted his apology and said it's fine, "you're in love."
Pre-noms meetings kicked off today around 11am. They were mostly boilerplate and shmooze because Joseph/Monte/Terrance noms and Daniel target were pretty much already decided. Kyle asked Michael if he was "overthinking" about Monte/Joseph/Taylor, since they all seem genuine when talking with Leftovers. Michael said they wouldn't even have mentioned the other alliance pitch to them if they weren't loyal. Brittany confessed to Michael she's a hypnotherapist, and Michael said "I wish I had a comparable secret to share." Of course he has exactly that - he's a lawyer - but admitted he does have a slack line at home. He and Brittany agreed they didn't think Nicole's theory about Monte/Jasmine/Taylor loyalty based on fraternities/sororities was anything. And Monte agreed with Michael that Daniel should go but said they should be watching if Kyle seemed more loyal to Daniel than to them, depending how things go. And to Alyssa, of course.
Michael nominated Joseph/Monte/Terrance as planned. Alyssa wondered why Michael put up Monte, Jasmine said he's not the target, and said she won't vote out Joseph or Terrance. Jasmine, who didn't shower all week as a Have-not, then went on a rant about Turner touching her muffins with "nasty ass hands that hasn't showered for an entire week." She added he never cooks or cleans, he made slopcoctions for himself and not her so she was "basically a Have-not by herself," and he wouldn't hand her a Chapstick. Alyssa said she was too tired to "set up" a date with Kyle tonight, but she thought it was cute that he saved some chocolate wrappers and read the poems to her because he knows she likes poetry. And we head into the long, likely activity-free evening.
They went to HOH lockdown while the new three-seater nominee couch was delivered. Several of them tried it out, and some wouldn't. Daniel and Terrance talked about hoping noms stay the same in order to get Monte or Joseph out. Both were probably shmoozing: Daniel knows he'd go up and out if veto's used by anyone but him, and Terrance wouldn't want to sit there on another Thursday. Indy joined them for a Taylor bashing session. Monte told Turner he'd given Nicole a heads up she was going, and that he'd pointed out lies she didn't confess to as the Reason. He said he'll let Terrance know if/when he's going too, because he'd spread around too many stories. Alyssa did a show for the cameras while Indy laughed in the background.
Jasmine found a new muffin on the table with a new note: BB24 - MIRACLE - DON'T BE CHEAP. She didn't know what to make of it. A few have asked about these muffin and cookie notes because they aren't allowed to write things. My guess is BB might be allowing it because they're short on fluff content with this group? Michael, Taylor, Brittany had a lengthy strategy session, with both Monte and Joseph moving up their future hit lists, and possibly putting up Alyssa/Indy/Taylor as renoms this week with Indy the target to go home instead of jury. Jasmine, Monte, Daniel talked awhile about social media influencing.

Strategy talks continued in HOH. Brittany told Michael, Kyle, Turner if they boot Jasmine's friends ahead of her, they'd get stuck doing everything for her. She added she'd been working hard to avoid that. Turner said Jasmine was high maintenance and hard to live with, and he'd be fine with her going anytime. Jasmine left a new note saying GAME ON with half a muffin in the bedroom, and ranted all over again about Turner. She kept saying it wasn't about the muffins (it was), and she said she wanted to go vent in Diary. She and Turner finally faced off for a few minutes, with him saying the muffin wars didn't start with him, and she said "maybe you should fess up, festie bestie - oh, that was pretty good!" Terrance agreed it was. The Great Muffin War of 2022 is heating up, and reviving fond memories of the OTT Krackel Wars.

Alyssa, Brittany, Kyle, Michael, Taylor, Turner played Chinese checkers in HOH. Jasmine continued her muffin rants to Indy, and she included Alyssa since she found out Alyssa knew about it all along. Joseph and Monte had a check-in, hoping/assuming Daniel was still the plan for this week.

Day 30 - Thursday - August 4, 2022
Overnight included a lot of to-do about muffins, and a lot of vote waffling. This morning brought Nicole fluctuating between certainty she'll go and "guaranteeing" there's a battle back and she'll boomerang back in. She gave an impassioned plea to Alyssa saying she's "literally" put her life on the line in there, she didn't like hearing she's been intimidating, and etc etc. Indy was pitching for a tie or worse, and meanwhile Taylor talked alone to herself about being nervous, and saying Terrance turning against her hurt. Jasmine was back to using her cane, improperly. If she trips with it (which is very possible the way she uses it), she'll be in worse shape than she was before.
Jasmine continued her mission to find out who ate a muffin (it was Turner). She left some muffin bait on the counter then crawled around the floor, under and behind furniture, to catch the muffin thief. She narrated quietly into her mic as she went, like it was a stealthy FBI/CIA investigation, despite how visible she was. It sounded like Nicole popped off on Taylor and Jasmine at some point off-feeds. Nicole asked Terrance to play bumper pool since she didn't want to be downstairs by herself, adding "I feel just alone." (Taylor says hi.) Daniel asked Joseph and Michael in the pantry to stop lying about the vote, he knows where he stands. Michael later said he'd just gone in for some marinara sauce. Kyle and Alyssa later did some slurpydurp in the pantry. Also in the pantry, Nicole told Michael as her 11th hour ridiculousness/nastiness that Monte, Jasmine's husband, and Taylor share "unbreakable" fraternity/sorority ties.
The recap edit was mostly about Daniel and Nicole clowning themselves this week, along with last night's waffle frenzy for misdirection, and Kylyssa showmance. They included this handsy bit with that, but omitted the part where Kyle pulled his hand away. Nicole's speech was her usual loyalty/integrity loops plus she said she'd been humbled this week - what?! Taylor gave the speech she'd been practicing, including "to quote BB superfan Rihanna, you look so dumb right now," kicking off the nominee speech scorcher tally, always a favorite. Nicole was evicted 9-1 with Daniel the lone dissenter. Julie didn't go in hard but she went in, questioning Nicole about being so certain of everything especially after two blindsides. And she told Nicole about Leftovers forming after her and Daniel's bathroom attack on Taylor (with the Lay's), and in part due to all the Taylor bashing in general. Nicole acted unsurprised but you could see she was a bit rattled by that info coming out.

Julie told Taylor to pick a new besties team to join, and the trio of guys was an option if she wanted to join them. She chose Alyssa/Indy as previously planned. Both girls gave some tv smiles and made small cheering noises. Michael looked like he was ready to burst out laughing. The HOH comp wasn't even started on the show, which ended with Daniel pacing alone and muttering "buy my plane ticket.. I have to live with these people ugghh.. just end the season already.. as a fan this is tragic."
Feeds came back around 9pm and Michael had won the HOH. It sounded like the balance beam comp where they could choose a shorter/harder or longer/easier route. He and Brittany celebrated immunity, not being Have-not, and probably making jury. Michael told Brittany and Taylor he wanted to send Daniel out the back door, so he was thinking of Monte/Joseph/Terrance as pre-veto pawns, with Terrance to go if Daniel wins veto; or Jasmine/Turner pawns and Jasmine goes if Daniel doesn't. He said he would not put Taylor on the block again. And he said he didn't want to pick Daniel/Kyle as Have-nots because that would mean Daniel would be upstairs, too close for the Leftovers late night meetings.
Sounds like they were told no Have-nots this week. They filled some of the void waiting for HOH room with their What Are The Odds truth-or-dare type game. Terrance did a short impersonation of all 16 of the cast and he did a pretty great job. This pic was his Brittany wrapping up one of her hypnosis sessions. Daniel ran up and down the stairs in 10 seconds, Turner did his rapidfire naming of all 50 states, and Monte had to name three hottest former hamsters: he said Bayleigh, BB12 Kristen (though he couldn't remember her name), and Janelle. Elsewhere, Alyssa told Indy her goal this week is to talk as little game as possible to everyone (so a normal week for her.) Terrance then pranked Indy by saying there was a case of her coveted condensed milk in the pantry (there wasn't), and Turner said something nice about all the evictees.
Michael hadn't gotten his room as of 1am - I'll catch that up tomorrow.

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1 Have-not 0
2nd evicted - Day 23
She was one of the Taylor haters under Paloma's direction, but she kept it up after Paloma's exit, even after Turner referred to it in his noms speech. That was one reason she went on the block as backdoor target and eventual exit, along with Michael and Kyle stressing her general smarts. She pushed for Pooch to go after he volunteered himself, and then she was blindsided when it was her own turn to meet Julie.
|

Won: Week 1 Backstage Boss/immunity
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0 Have-not 1
1st evicted - Day 16
Volunteering to go on the block is always dicey, but especially as early as he did before any real trust is formed. And now he knows why. He's lucky Julie was COVID-distanced or she might have whacked him. He put all his eggs in a broken Oasis basket, and he irritated a lot of them with his antics and touchy-feely. When Joseph tried to help and warn him about that, he just got mad at Joseph. Like Paloma, he talked constantly and very, very fast. He seems like he's got a good heart so good luck to him from here.
|

Won: Week 1 Backstage Pass
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0 Have-not 0
Left the game - Day 8
She drove the game at the start, and she ignited and fueled the unjustified Taylor hate which continued to thrive even after she left. When she started to spiral, her conspiracy theories and delusions would have been comical if they weren't indicative of something more serious going on. It was probably best for her to go when she did, and for me - her nonstop superfast talking was stressing me out.

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0 Have-not 0
He was replaced pre-season by Joseph, but you can catch him on America's Got Talent and The Circle.
