Despite the paranoia in there, the need to consider numbers in the side versus side situation, and of course keeping in mind the continual war cry of evictees and alums 'YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE IN THERE!' I have to believe there's something to be said for attempting to be pleasant when at risk of eviction. But Nicole doesn't seem to subscribe to this theory. It's going to be another long day. We also have Jasmine (and Turner) counting down to midnight when they get off slop. Jasmine was surprised her ankle wasn't swollen for the first time, and she was told that was due to her using it with the boot rather than just letting it hang there. In other news, last night Taylor and Joseph suggested faking a showmance to explain Joseph's vote, for Daniel's sake. Turner said "that would be fire." Taylor was reassured by Joseph and Kyle this morning she'll stay tomorrow, so she should disregard whatever stories and name drops come along today. Leftovers will let some of the others know ahead of time what's up, but they don't want to do it too soon in case Nicole gets wind of it - Joseph said he wanted to be sure Taylor gets to give her scorching nominee speech. Nicole met with Monte in hopes of getting his promise to break a tie in her favor. She ran her lying loops that she's not a yeller, not a screamer, not somebody who wants to create that sort of friction; she's never said anything bad about Taylor; if she goes out, she'll go out with her head high, with integrity and loyalty and a lot of grace, and "my conversations have been that as well"; and "if my loyalty, integrity and grace gets me kicked out of this game, then I'm not made for Big Brother." Monte gave his usual "mm-hmm" replies for most of it, and he side-stepped when she asked directly if he'll keep her on a 5-5 tie. He told us afterwards he'd given her several opportunities to come clean about things he knew she'd done but she didn't. And he said he was going to work today to try to make it a 9-1 vote. Much of the day was whispery scrambling about the vote, and misdirection about the vote. Nicole eventually told Indy she'd had a conversation with everyone and she was "done talking." Feedsters breathed a collective sign of relief. But she and Daniel continued being cocky about outsmarting everyone. Monte met with Terrance who said "to me, this is Pooch #2" about Nicole going due to Daniel's decision to use the veto, adding "we literally had a whole class about what not to do." Daniel gave an unintentional preview of his future in the habitat when he played checkers by himself for awhile. Taylor tried on her dress for tomorrow, and Alyssa complimented it and helped Taylor decide which direction to sit in the nominee chairs so it wouldn't be too revealing. Alyssa said she also liked another sparkly outfit of Taylor's, and Taylor said she'd wear that when she Zooms in for the finale. Alyssa reported that to Kyle and Michael, saying Taylor was resigned to leaving tomorrow. Jasmine told Alyssa and Michael that her gut was telling her the vote might not go the way they're expecting. (It will go the way Michael's expecting.) Later Monte met with Jasmine and told her if it's a tie, he'll evict Nicole, adding "that's what I want this week." Jasmine said she'll vote how Monte wants, and added this vote could "literally split the house, and everybody's gonna start fuckin lying, it's gonna get bad." She is catching on (but not really). She also told him she, Alyssa, Indy had already agreed to do what Monte wants, and he said if they do that, it might not be a split vote (it'd be 9-1). Jasmine said she didn't think that would be a problem. They agreed Jasmine will talk to Alyssa and Monte will talk to Indy, since Indy doesn't like Taylor at all. Jasmine wasted no time whispering to Alyssa, telling her she thought everyone's voting out Nicole and she was scared of being on the wrong side of the vote again, and she didn't know what to do. They agreed to follow up later, which happened almost immediately, with Indy. As expected, Indy wasn't pleased, saying "this fuckin bitch [Taylor] is going to win the game" if she keeps getting saved, and she asked/prayed for a bomb to drop on the house. Alyssa said she thought maybe Monte was messing with them so they would vote "wrong," putting targets on them for next week. Meanwhile Leftovers less Joseph met in HOH to compare notes of their various talks of the day. Brittany went down to join the girls and reaffirm the "news" that Nicole was being voted out. Nicole and Daniel got suspicious that something was up, which Indy more or less confirmed when Nicole asked her. Indy said just talk to her five votes and ensure they're locked in, and not to talk with anyone else. Jasmine discovered she can just walk on her boot and not use her cane, which she uses awkwardly anyway. Monte initiated a long dicussion about relationships and gender roles with Indy and Jasmine, maybe partially as a goodwill shmooze. Joseph joined and contributed to that as well. Jasmine and Turner ended their week on slop, with gusto. Kyle told Alyssa he'll be voting out Nicole, and wondered if the two of them will end up being a full-blown showmance - Alyssa liked that idea, and she loved it when Kyle suggested they have an in-house date. The girls didn't finalize their decision yet either way (as of midnight or so), but I'd guess Alyssa and Jasmine will evict Nicole, and Indy may stick with evicting Taylor. There will be more discussions tomorrow, but it's a given Nicole will walk the plank and meet Julie. She and Daniel pretty much realized that by the end of the night. I couldn't do this without you guys ♥ Day 28 - Tuesday - August 2, 2022Kyle and Alyssa picked up last night where they'd left off earlier, with more smackyface between gametalk, and a little undercovers handsy action before feeds cut away. I think everyone in there knows, or most of them anyway. Of course it's not a monumental event but it kind of is, especially because it puts/keeps Kyle in a tricky spot between the different sides of the house. He later rehashed the makeout and the week to us, saying he hadn't wanted to showmance, but "aarrgggh here we are! I really like her, I don't know what to do!" He said he's still voting out Nicole, and he reiterated some of his problems about being perpetually aroused in there. Later he asked Alyssa if Diary had asked her about them making out, and was surprised when she said no because they had asked him. He asked Monte and Joseph if his relationship with Alyssa is seen as a liability for Leftovers, and they said no. (At least for now.)Meanwhile Terrance was also playing the middle while not being fully embedded in either side. He told Jasmine if Nicole does end up going, Taylor plans to join Alyssa/Indy besties team. But he said there's not much chance of that as Taylor's going for sure (actually he knows she isn't). Nicole did a lot of self-talking and vote counting last night, and seemed to have gotten closer to realizing there's a big formal alliance she's up against. She started the day by being generally chatty and friendly. She reminded people how nice she's been and how much she's done for people. She seemed to think if she tells people she's a valuable asset rather than a negative drain on them all, they'll come around and keep her. Daniel pulled Michael aside for a campaign chat to rehash and talk at him for awhile. Monte and Joseph weren't bothered by Nicole refusing to cook anymore and they did a lot of afternoon food prep, along with Indy. Taylor met with Alyssa to pitch she'll go after the guys but not Kyle if she should happen to stay, and she'd like to join Alyssa/Indy besties (Jasmine probably already told Alyssa about). Taylor said if that happens, they're practically guaranteed jury because they either wouldn't hit the block or Taylor would go if they do. (Actually it would be so each set of Besties would include one or more Leftovers.) Jasmine continued sampling various pickle choices and looking forward to tomorrow night's feast. The yard stayed open and Taylor did her daily entrance and walk in bikini and heels, upsetting her haters again/still. Nicole's "good" mood started to evaporate when checking in with Daniel, who revved her up into another hateful frenzy. She said she calls Leftovers less Kyle "the Sorry Six" because they'll be sorry they crossed her, and said they're doing a good job acting if they're not being truthful, adding sarcastially "and if that's the case, congratulations." Daniel said he thought Cookout 2.0 was happening but Nicole said they wouldn't have evicted Ameerah if so. Daniel said "no, it's happening now" implying it started by keeping Terrance. They bashed Taylor of course, and said they don't want her in jury because she'll vote vindictively. Kyle questioned going to the end with Monte and Joseph, or Taylor, because he said any of them would win, and he said he'll talk with Turner, Michael, Brittany about it. Turner buried sleeping Joseph under pillows, pool floaties, and towels. It was an excruciatingly slow afternoon, with the most excitement being provided by the backyard baby birds and a destructive squirrel chewing up the overhead rigging. Kyle said or implied to Michael that seven members is too many for an alliance, and he told Alyssa that Taylor's still the target. Alyssa told Jasmine and Terrance that he'll be voting her out because he wants to "go with the house." Jasmine asked Alyssa if Kyle knew that he was the backup plan for his week? Alyssa said no. That's how out of touch that side of the house is. Jasmine was told to use her boot and start walking, and so she did. Her scooter and crutches were seen in the pantry awaiting pickup by the authorities. Nicole finally made her pitch to Brittany, after bashing her much of the day as well as most of the prior days. Michael sat in. It was mostly rehashes and included lines like "I'm 9 million percent down to move forward from any of that stuff" and "I'm not here for the drama" and "I'm 41 years old." She told them if finals were tomorrow, she'd vote for Michael. Odd way to campaign for Brittany's vote, but she's an odd hamster. Later Nicole asked Jasmine about an alliance Brittany said she was in with Ameerah. Nicole seemed rattled by that news, but Jasmine played dumb. Alyssa and Kyle continued their giggly slurpydurp here and there. Kyle told Alyssa he'd put up Monte/Joseph or Michael/Brittany if he wins HOH, along with assorted other comments that had feedsters convinced he'd dropped Leftovers now that he's gotten a litte action. Maybe he was testing to see if Alyssa spills and that gets around, or maybe he thinks he can successfully straddle both sides. Maybe he isn't thinking at all. Nicole was all wound up after her Brittany/Michael convo and reported to Daniel, who said he'd call everyone out if Nicole goes. Brittany and Michael considered taking up with Jasmine down the road because she wouldn't be good at the late season physical comps, or Kyle and Alyssa, and maybe Daniel, rather than going the distance with Kyle, Monte, Joseph because they're strong guys. Remember they aren't aware of the Pound group of guys within Leftovers, but maybe they suspect. Buzzy whispery convos carried on all over, like they do, accomplishing nothing but increased suspicion and paranoia. Welcome to BB. A big thank you for continuing to visit Hamsterwatch.com! And big ups to everyone who has or will get their feeds through me, and/or has or will make donations! I couldn't do this without you guys ♥ Day 27 - Monday - August 1, 2022Leftovers decided late last night to flip the plan, keep Alyssa and Indy on the block, and boot Alyssa. They had a long meeting in HOH to hash it all out, without Kyle for most of it. Daniel, who'd been slowly catching on to them working together, noticed they'd all been up there for a long time. BB Math was the order of the day this morning, as Monte pitched not using the veto to Daniel and Nicole, implicating the girls, particularly Jasmine, as being problematic and likely to vote out Nicole rather than Taylor. Monte shmoozed by saying he'd hate for his HOH to be wasted by losing yet another chance to boot Taylor.Daniel didn't buy it and ran straight to Kyle, and also told him about last night's long meeting (which Kyle of course knew about, and joined later). Daniel was convinced he was being lied to by Monte, and he wanted Kyle and himself to use their veto anyway so Nicole and Taylor go up as previously planned. (Reminder, either veto-holding Bestie can use it: they don't have to agree.) Kyle kept telling Daniel "they have six, we have seven" which Daniel already believed, and he was convinced Taylor would finally be evicted (nope). Kyle's painting himself into a very tight corner no matter what, and if Nicole goes out because Daniel insisted she go on the block? You couldn't make it up. By the way, if Nicole somehow survives this week, I may have to give her a premature empty wheel and put her on ignore. After the birthday celebration last night, Joseph said something about having hoped this season wouldn't be about fights and negativity. That rang true, he's said similar many times. Nicole said she's "seen every season" and the negativity was hard to watch. She went on to add "a man coming at a woman disrespectfully, I don't even understand how it could be televised." She said this to people who heard Daniel do exactly that, with her encouragement and blessing. Some feedsters are calling her delusional - I think it's more a matter of plain old lowdown manipulation. If she tells them enough times she's all about integrity, they believe it. Sure, that's good BB, but character assassination based on lies isn't fun to watch, for me. Also during that gathering Terrance told those who didn't yet know that Juice WRLD had been his cousin, Jasmine told them she owns a business and is a social media mogul (everyone already knew), and Nicole again said she had a secret she couldn't share yet (even though she already has with several). The veto was used on Alyssa/Indy, and Monte put up Nicole/Taylor in their place. I think Daniel used it, he was very pleased with himself when he told Nicole he'd outsmarted Monte. And he told himself/us people get comfortable and forget to pay attention, that he'd had a shitty life and was never comfortable so he was staying alert, adding "omg I love this game so much!" Chances are he won't love it so much come Thursday night. Nicole at least considered the possibility: "if they are playing us, they've played us pretty good." Ding ding ding! She told him she'd told the girls she's a former cop, probably so that couldn't be used against her. Never mind the timing of that confession is highly suspect. Joseph and Brittany assured Taylor she'll survive, and now Leftovers can decide which team she should join. Brittany spoke for us when she said "let the chaos ensue." The post-veto meeting frenzy of whispery retells and comparing of notes was mayhem. Yesterday Nicole snuck up and jumpscared Alyssa who jumped and bonked her in the face. Today she got an elbow to an eye. Nicole swore to Indy "on my mother's cancer, on my own life, on this friendship we have" that Monte told her Indy, Alyssa, Jasmine wouldn't keep her versus Taylor. Joseph tried to give Michael a Brazilian birthday egg smashing last night but failed - Indy succeeded today. Joseph gave Michael his veto host peace symbol necklace for a birthday present. Terrance admitted to Joseph he'd been part of the early Taylor bashing, and said it was immature of him but he justified it by saying he'd been alone at that time. Check-ins and whispers carried on everywhere, like they do. Kyle told Brittany and Michael about the morning meetings with Daniel, and said "it makes sense in his mind and I hate to say it but it does make sense, unfortunately he's just wrong about the votes." Jasmine told Alyssa and Indy they don't want to be on the wrong side of the vote again, so they may also vote to evict Nicole, depending how things unfold between now and Thursday. Nicole pitched to Turner, who shmoozed her at every turn. He said he can't see her going home versus Taylor, adding something about one of them being well-liked and everyone wanting the other out (boom). He told her she has his vote and he agreed when she said she thought she'll have Kyle's too. Later Nicole boasted to Daniel that she'd really won him over with her acting, saying she even covered her face to sell it. Turner made slop French toast sticks that were a hit. He shared some with Taylor and they had a nice convo about various non-BB topics. Jasmine still hadn't put on her boot or tried to walk but she was vertical a couple times today, and she even washed some dishes. Turner offered to make her some slop but forgot, and Joseph said "you're done, you're on the block." Most of them are calling her Scooty Booty now. Alyssa and Kyle did their weird flirty-ish thing for awhile on Kyle's bed. Kyle withdrew his hands from finger-twining at one point, and said they should get up because they look suspicious. Alyssa asked "what's the suspicion here?" Kyle said "that we're about to make love!" Followed by Alyssa saying in a sarcastic tone "oh Alyssa and Kyle are sitting on the bed, they're definitely about to fuck." Joseph came along and lingered, giving Kyle another temporary reprieve from his awkward situation. Nicole made a big show of making some slop and announcing she did it "because when it comes down to it, I'm not an asshole." She spewed at Terrance for quite awhile in the hammock about being 41, she's going to blow up the house when she wins HOH next week, everyone's stupid except her, everyone's leaving the kitchen dirty to attract ants just to annoy her, and then claiming it doesn't. And she announced "guess what America? I'm not cooking anymore" as if we had a vested interest if she does or not. Terrance just let her spew, agreeing now and then, and letting her spew some more. Several of them ate Nicole's chicken alfredo, unaware it was her last supper. Jasmine announced she'll dedicate the day to elevating her foot tomorrow. Michael hung out with/shmoozed Indy and Alyssa for awhile. Alyssa mentioned FOUTTE alliance (not by name) from BB20 always getting blindsided and said she doesn't want that to happen to them. Indy said (accurately) "that's literally what's happening to us," and Alyssa said "it happened once." Brittany and Taylor chatted alone most of the evening, repeating their convo from last night about the first week, talking game, and talking in general. Taylor told her she's planning a scorcher nominee speech on Thursday, starting with "Nicole, to quote a BB superfan, Rihanna, 'you look so dumb right now'." Brittany was equally shocked and delighted. Alyssa finally got the kiss she's been working so hard for. After a short slurpydurp session they giggled, he said he needs a shave, she said facial is a requirement for her, and they giggled some more. And smacked some more. And giggled some more. Daniel was passed out on the next bed. Turner saw them, and later told Taylor. Nicole came along, and Indy, who said "why are you making out here, on Brittany's bed? Give me a good reason." Team Ants launched impressive dual assaults on the kitchen and the backyard. There was some group socializing in and around the hot tub. Kyle and Turner wondered if there were any F2s in their group, and they agreed Monte and Joseph probably had one, and so they made their own. Fire.
