Last night Xavier urged Derek to gun for it so he could vote out Kyland, as they'd both have better chances at final three against Azah. Derek told Azah that he'd blown up his game because Kyland would cut him if he wins it, adding Kyland would be going against his word "but that's fine." Xavier peeked in on them and Derek said "I'm sticking to our final three" (with Azah.) Xavier and Kyland ate breakfast at their new tiny table, saying Derek has F2s with each of them, putting him in a tricky spot with Azah. Later Xavier asked Derek why would he tell Azah before the veto, as it would make her go for it harder, and he scolded Derek for talking too much. A bit later he scolded him again, saying "at this point the scrambling's gotta stop." They were given playing cards.Veto comp could be today or they could do it tomorrow as usual. They did have a final four luxury/filler comp the last two years, each with a $10,000 prize, so that could also be today or tomorrow. After expecting it all day, I think they were told around 5pm veto comp would be tomorrow. And the cash comp didn't happen either, unless they do that later. Feeds remained excruciatingly slow and dull: the most action was Azah spilling her drink on the big blue white couch. She was horrified but set to cleaning it with Derek and Kyland, and between them they got it cleaned up. Azah and Xavier watched the CSI Vegas show that was promoted in the HOH comp, with pizza and extras. Other than that, paranoia was the order of the day and will likely remain so until the end. Day 72 - Thursday - September 16, 2021Feeds remained down with no credible spoilers as to what happened at yesterday's taping, largely due to a certain former staffer/spoiler account who got too big for her britches a couple years ago, and killed the spoiler game for the rest of us. I'm still expecting a revival of one of the two evictees. That could be wishful thinking, but the quick-paced and simple QA veto comp they're doing tonight plus the number of shows left lends the theory some weight, especially since both Friday shows were added recently. However the show released a clip that acknowledged the show's already been taped, which is a huge admit for them, and it also corrects a faulty narrative they've been pushing, which is also huge. Julie congratulated them for Cookout achieving their goal of getting to F6 and ensuring an African-American winner, and she asked Tiffany about "helping to form the Cookout alliance and seeing it to the end." She also asked Xavier and Derek, but she went to Tiffany first. Tiffany did in fact come up with the idea as well as their partner/pawn plan, but Derek and the other guys have been taking credit for it on feeds, as well as Diaries that have aired. So big ups for that! Obviously this is a huge milestone for our show that shouldn't be discounted. Celebs is considered a separate show and franchise from summer BB, but I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge Tamar Braxton who not only won Celebs 2, but she also broke the first-in curse (and remains the only first-to-enter to win their season for any North American BB). My theory didn't hold slop: the first hour of two was a lot of recaps, fluff and filler, plus Julie congratulating Cookout, and jurors welcoming SarahB, Claire, and Alyssa, and the five of them realizing the other six had indeed been working together all season. Then came the rapid pace of a double in the second hour. Tiffany was evicted 3-0. All six did another Cookout hands in-and-up at the door before she went through it. She went out gracefully and Julie gave her the props she deserved for being the "master strategist." The HOH comp was BB Ballers which was played in two rounds. In Round 1 they had to run to grab a ball one at a time and roll it across a lane with a goal of knocking off 12 silver balls at the other end. Azah and Xavier finished first and second and advanced to Round 2. They had 10 shots to roll a ball to land in the grassy strip at the end of their lanes. Azah won her first HOH with five balls, Xavier had three. Azah nominated Hannah and Xavier, with Xavier her target. She had whispered to Hannah before commercial that was her plan, and said she had to honor her deal with Kyland, because he hadn't put her up this week. The veto comp was What the Bleep, which we already knew from yesterday's rehearsal audio leak: seven statements by evictees from season moments, with a word or phrase missing. They had to answer true or false for a replacement word or phrase Julie supplied. Kyland and Xavier tied with six correct, and their math tiebreaker question was how many seconds was the Cluckster HOH comp. Kyland guessed 1,690 and Xavier said 1,100, giving the veto to Kyland as the correct answer was 2,020. Kyland used his veto on Xavier, citing deals and promises he'd made, and Azah had to put up Derek in his place as he was the only option. Hannah was evicted 2-0. She looked positively shell-shocked but she recovered and gave a good exit interview, with poise far beyond her years, as she's shown been all season. Feeds were scheduled to return after the west coast airing but they came back after the initial east coast airing. Xavier was the new HOH, and they'd gotten the tiny table for four. Xavier had nominated Azah and Kyland. Azah was in her bed but moved up to join Xavier in his, Derek was making dinner and studying days and events with Kyland. Derek then talked his game up to himself and us, and told Xavier he was stressed about having made conflicting deals with Azah and Kyland, and thinking Azah was upset with him for apparently telling her he didn't know what he'd do if he won this veto. Azah had gotten her pics and letter from the quickie HOH. There's no telling if she regretted putting out Hannah instead of one of the guys. If not yet, she might soon, unless she wins the veto.
