I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 18 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. Thanks for encouraging my behavior.

Day 71 - Wednesday, August 24

Same stuff, different day

Paul brought his futile campaign to work with Nicole and Corey directly to them, starting with explaining how he's needed some alone time the last couple days, and that he saw a medic for chest pressure and heart palpitations.. his audience mostly listened quiet with blank looks, even when he told them he knows Victor's going, and that Natalie and Michelle told him their noms were "a mistake" and that Corey would be evicted.. Victor popped in a couple times but didn't linger

Interesting sidenote, Paul and Victor were present when Nicole told James the two of them "got in trouble" for talking about their 3 x $10k bribe/agreement.. she didn't spell out the specifics at that time, but I question why neither Paul nor Victor have questioned what that was about.. things that make me go hmmm

Paul and Victor hatched a plan to make everyone think they aren't connected so Corey would get voted out.. Paul returned to Nicole and Corey's bed with that, and Victor took it to HOH, where he let Michelle, Natalie, James think they'd convinced him to turn against Paul.. James went off to bed or Diary, Paul and Victor had a quick check-in saying they'd no longer talk to each other in order to be more convincing, and Michelle and Natalie ran lollipop scenarios including the final and mysterious-to-them care package

The HOHs decided keeping Victor was their best bet for future, but when they presented that to James, he fetched Corey and Nicole to sit in, and shortly after that Victor crashed the HOH party, causing all kinds of awkward.. naturally James wasn't going to be convinced, and the end result was a mini Nicole blowup at Michelle about going after Paul, and fundamentally nothing had changed except more tension all around.. Natalie told Michelle after a 2am Diary that she was still hoping Corey would go and Victor stay, but again it all comes down to James

Good news! Thursday's HOH comp will be an endurance, and it will be on the feeds.. Sign up nowto watch it play out! Let's hope it's a long one.. it'll be a Trevor Boris comp, and he's made some great ones for BB Canada

Will it be a combined jury revival comp with HOH? We'll know when we get there.. Julie said last Thursday the revival (don't call it a buyback) would be "revealed" to them tomorrow night, but the narrator closed Wednesday's show with "jurors return to battle it out" and "it all happens live on Thursday".. again, we'll know when we know, the main thing is endurance on feeds, yay!

Day 70 - Tuesday, August 23

Cheese, flour, and coffee

The camera came out on cue, and even though many of them were asleep, Michelle and Natalie had fun snapping themselves and the few of them who were vertical, and they wrote their blogs and tweets

The usual cycle of napping/snacking cycled a few times, broken up by more cleaning by Victor, Nicole, Corey, James.. there were a few lengthy conversations about TV shows, dating apps, social media, and of course the suspicion that Paul being able to make French fries must mean that he's been lying about everything

Pranks broke out again, like they do.. after a few light rounds, Nicole chucked flour at Corey at the end of his shower

She went back for more and Corey retaliated by squirting shampoo and conditioner on her.. James stepped in and tossed more flour at Corey, making a couple direct hits, which Nicole had failed to do

Nicole added baby powder and ground coffee to the blend, and a good time was had by most.. Paul and Victor were present, laughing, and eating pie, although Victor joked that he wasn't going to clean it up.. Corey had a hard time getting the flour goop off him and out of his hair, and James and Nicole had a hard time getting the muck and mess cleaned up

They did get it cleaned up for the most part, with a Diary request via James that they not wash the flour down the drain.. an awful lot of flour did go down there though, so it's a good bet they'll have another clog in the next day or two

Paul interacted some while he was upright but he remained relatively isolated and quiet, for him.. Natalie and Michelle kept up their anti-Paul loops, but we didn't get a Paul versus Michelle confrontation (yet?).. James said he'll probably give Victor a heads-up that he's going, and he said when Paul questions him about it, he'll say it's Paul's own fault Victor left because he, Paul, was their target, until he won veto.. I'm really hoping Victor wins whatever they're cooking up for a revival comp and comes back a second time

Day 69 - Monday, August 22

Final third

Paul used his veto on himself, obviously, and Michelle put up Corey in his place.. I'm expecting solid waffles thru Thursday but this vote will come down to James, and he and Nicole seem firmly in each other's pockets

In an overnight update to yesterday's episode, Nicole exited Diary overnight and immediately hunted down James to tell him they "got in trouble" for talking about making share offers/bribes if they win - Flashback 8/22 3.51am.. she said it with a smile and laugh, and Corey, Natalie, Paul, Victor were all present when she said it.. Nicole discussed it a bit later with Corey in connection with either of them being the renom, after an extended "cuddle" session

We passed the two-thirds point of the season the other day and there's still a month to go - it's mind-boggling really.. nothing illustrates the saying "familiarity breeds contempt" better than Big Brother, both among themselves and for many if not most feedsters

It took a few hours, but Michelle began crying again, second-guessing her original nom and renom choices, and worried for herself about next week.. she took it to Natalie and James, and then to Nicole and Corey.. meanwhile Natalie had been ranting to James about Paul and how he "ruined her HOH week" and Nicole ranted to Corey about him and his "callout" the other night.. I don't know if any of these items followed Diary sessions but it would make sense as they put together Wednesday's show.. Nicole and Natalie also each had separate problems with Paul's mastery of making French fries if he'd truly never made them before, and how that "lie" must mean everything he says is a lie.. as if cutting potatoes and dumping them into oil is some well-kept secret and great mystery of the culinary universe that has somehow gone unobserved by millions of fast food restaurant customers

Afternoon and evening were the same dull routine of napping and snacking, and Victor cleaned up the kitchen to sparkly move-in status.. Nicole and Corey had a round of (messy) pranks that didn't sit too well with Victor and he made a mom-type comment to them, but he told Paul he wouldn't make a bigger stink about it

Michelle had a loud rant about being fat and she and Natalie commiserated a lot about their supposed shared obese condition.. there was an issue with the washing machine stalled and full of suds and Michelle had another rant about that, and then she accidentally mooned the feeds by pulling her swimsuit down with her coverup - Flashback 8/22 11.08pm.. a bit later she yelled at Paul for touching her waiting laundry - Flashback 8/22 11.29pm.. that didn't sit well with Paul and he grouched to Victor about it and about Michelle in general.. between that, Michelle and Natalie wearing their HOH robes, and everyone but Victor shunning Paul, he wasn't a happy camper at all

This would have been the time for him to talk to us instead of all the Diary-voice beard and friendship talks, but he didn't.. his bad mood was noticed by the others and they speculated and gossiped about it into the wee hours, and plotted to get him out next week

Australian Survivor, and Big Brother Australia

Photo: tenplay.com.au

Australia's premiere season of Survivor has kicked off, and is already getting good reviews and positive comparisons to early USA seasons.. you can watch online at Australian Survivor official site.. outside Australia, use HideMyAss and connect to an Australian server

Unfortunately, Big Brother Australia is on hiatus, possibly permanently, but they used to do the hamsters-in-a-house concept better than most.. their 2013 season is my all-time favorite BB ever, and I can't recommend it highly enough.. here's the premiere to get you hooked started.. all episodes are on YouTube but from a few different uploaders.. there is a playlist but it skips a few episodes, so just YouTube search: Big Brother Australia 2013 and remember which ep you're on.. I promise you won't regret it

Celebrity Big Brother

Another celeb series kicked off July 28! Outside UK, use Hide My Ass to watch live or archive shows and clips.. there are loads of other VPNs out there but I use and recommend HMA because it's safe, secure, and easy to use (just select a UK server), available for multiple platforms, plus they have great customer service for questions or problems

You can watch live at Channel 5's online live stream link.. shows are usually daily, plus Bit on the Side talk show and an hour live from the house, but check the air show schedule - remember UK time is 8 hours ahead of Pacific and 5 hours ahead of Eastern.. the official site has archive air shows and talk shows, highlights, previews, and info

As always, most of the cast is controversial or has featured in highly publicized scandals - Google is your friend.. in order of intro/entry:

Christopher Biggins - actor/comedian - ejected Day 8
Saira Khan - reality tv - evicted Day 13
Frankie Grande brother/USA Big Brother 16
Ricky Norwood soap actor
Renee Graziano reality tv

99 days is too long.

Won: $2,500; 1 week patriotard
TEAM FREAKAZOID

NOMINATED by Michelle
He seems to be here to gather future stories. At least he's adding some sober ones to his repertoire.

Won: $5,000.25; Care Package #2 nullify 2 votes; Immunity 1st 2 evictions
TEAM UNICORN

He seems to be here as last year's viewer favorite. The pranks are stale and his game is lame.

Won: $0.25; Care Package #4 co-HOH; Black Box 30-second bonus; 8 days pixel suit; Outback dinner
TEAM CATEGORY 4

CO-HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
She seems to be here as a 'superfan' even though she discovered the show three years ago. Her gametalks usually include 'well, as a superfan..' which is fine when she's watching at home. How about she play as a player?

Won: $0.25; Care Package #1: Never-not; Immunity 1st 2 evictions
TEAM UNICORN

HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
She seems to be here to worry about her weight and her makeup, and to be liked by viewers. Thanks James.

Won: $2,507.50; Trip to Anywhere USA; Care Package #3 1 week immunity plus safety costume
TEAM FREAKAZOID

She seems to be here as a BB16 rerun. I'm pretty sure she's spent more total time being horizontal with Corey than she's been vertical.

Won: $500; 1 week secret service; Outback dinner (guest)
TEAM BIG SISTER

NOMINATED by Michelle
WON VETO/USED ON SELF
He's here to win.

Won: $500; TV/tablet/phone; Revival; Immunity 1st 2 evictions
TEAM UNICORN

NOMINATED by Natalie
He seems to be here to win comps and get Instagram followers. If he goes out, I hope he wins another comp and boomerangs right back in because he's saving our sanity and their hygiene. Plus he might get another Battle Back belt, which is his favorite souvenir thus far.

Won: $1,000*; TV/tablet/phone*; Make apple pies (6); 8 days pixel suit; Outback dinner
*Per feeds/not shown on CBS
TEAM CATEGORY 4

He gave Cody and Derrick more airtime than they had on BB16. He had the most raging case of HOHitis we've seen in ages, never mind that most of them just let him think he was driving so they didn't have to. His smugness was out of control, he was obsessed with saying Tiffany was really Vanessa, he had issues with Bridgette being a feminist, and he self-directed a World's Worst Haircut to launch his mini-me Paul era. He cuddled and more with Zakiyah while plotting against her, he berated her when she confronted him about being so hot and cold, and he bragged to his boys that he 'boned' her all over the habitat. He peed in the hot tub, refused to make pie, cried when he lost, and he picked up Julie a foot off the ground.

Won: 8 days pixel suit; Outback dinner
TEAM CATEGORY 4

She was super perky and upbeat, with a dark side that was fun and fascinating. She was in a pixel bikini when feeds began, and she formed a solid friendship/alliance with Bronte and Natalie. She baked cookies nonstop and gathered intel for the Spygirls as everyone overlooked her and gametalked around her in the kitchen. Michelle hated her over a misunderstood eyebrows comment, and then Bridgette became everyone's target when she buddied up with Frank and won an HOH and veto the same week. But she survived two evictions after his, and openly confronted Michelle about their drama, eventually winning her over. She embraced Tiffany's Cabbage Patch tag, and she'll be missed.

Won: Outback dinner (guest)
TEAM BIG SISTER

Stunningly gorgeous plus photogenic, she came in as a fan since BB3 but said she was up for a showmance. She focused on the latter when she took a shine to Paulie, and that progressed from awkward overlong hugs to bumping in bumpercars. He gave her several verbal beatdowns but she kept going back for more, even as he plotted her demise with his boys. She also took a shine to a stuffed giraffe and gave it a birthday party, and she formed a couple friendships that might last beyond BB, notably with Da'Vonne and Michelle. Game-wise she didn't do much and she went eight consecutive shows with no Diaries. She had a Murphree-esque mirror routine but she avoided #Deathrace2016 - best stunt hair to date.

Won: Outback dinner (guest)
TEAM BIG SISTER

She lasted longer than last time, but not as long as she hoped. Like Frank and Nicole, she started gaming too hard and turning on her fellow vets, when the four of them could have steamrolled the eejit noobs and gone all the way. Da'Vonne played better than some, planting little poison seedbombs against others that took root and grew, but they came back to bite her. She gave us good Diaries again, creative turns of phrase, hair flips, deadly if-looks-could-kill glares, reaction faces deluxe, and occasional belly laughs. Now and then she dropped her game face and gave us a funny, relaxed one instead, and it was always good to see.

Won: 8 days pixel suit; Outback dinner
TEAM CATEGORY 4

He made a rookie mistake by playing too hard and fast, way too early, when he should have laid low and enjoyed the safety that was handed to him. But he played for his life last time, and he was mentored by the sidekick rather than the master. His social game was the best of the bunch till he got in trouble for slapping asses and being mouthy, but he's not a bad guy overall and his exit was a fatal hit for the feeds. Pixels were his third costume, a hamster record (until Nicole tied it). His friendship with Bridgette was fun to watch, with funky movie retells and baking, and every random topic under the sun.

Won: $2,500
TEAM FREAKAZOID

She came in looking and sounding so much like Vanessa it was spooky, but it didn't take long to realize her game was more Audrey-style chaos and sabotage than poker-faced strategy. Paulie's the only one who didn't get that memo but that's Paulie for you. Two weeks in a row she didn't campaign to save herself nearly as much as others campaigned for her, but when she transformed into Free Agent IDGAF Tiffany it was a joy to behold. I'm surprised #They let one of the six stuntcasts go before jury, but it just goes to show the whole thing isn't as rigged as some believe.

Won: Immunity 1st 2 evictions
TEAM UNICORN

She went in saying she'd use behavioral sciences to maneuver her way to the win but she spent most of her time with Bridgette and Natalie who were barely playing BB. Her huge confession to them about being the 'secret nerd' and aspiring mathematician was just silly, and she'll always be remembered for not knowing what 9x9 is. She didn't bring much to the table beyond her abnormally high voice and hair bows, and even the hair bows didn't stick around. She seems like a pleasant enough person but like so many others, she should have gone on a dating show instead.

Won: Nothing
TEAM BIG SISTER

One of the most delusional hamsters ever (and that's saying something), he was convinced he owned the house, he was the messiah of the newbies, the savior, the sanctuary, and the next Mario Lopez. He wore his doggie comp suit for days, but mostly he just wore underpants. His gametalks with Paul and Victor were pure comedy since they had no clue whatsoever how far out of every loop they were, and The Jozea and Paul Talk Show concluded with the two of them roaming the house looking for a camera that worked. Jozea's shtick got old fast for many, but he was feeds gold for trainwreck fans like myself.

Won: $2,500
TEAM FREAKAZOID

I didn't like having to combine an intro with an obit, but that's how the dog biscuit crumbles. He seemed like a fun guy with potential for fun feeds, especially his admission that he'd be 'willing to flirt if necessary' but he also might have gotten into heated political discussions, and BB is not the place for that. He didn't technically get Jodi'd since he got to compete twice, but gone before feeds is never good, and neither is trial by combat. Too bad the token older/regular person/fan got the first boot but young, pretty, hormonal hamsters are all the rage anymore.

HOH's team members had immunity from nomination all week. Unlike HOH, the Roadkill winner could nominate someone from his/her team.

HOH named the renom if veto was used on one of his/her nominees. If the Roadkill nominee came off, Roadkill winner named the renom.

The CBS app (by CBS Interactive) plays BB air shows and other CBS shows, as well as feeds, or you can use your browser to watch feeds on mobile devices. The same All Access link used to subscribe will lead to the feeds viewing page if you're already signed up.

BB18 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. Stipend for the others is $1,000 per week again, including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Siblings might and veterans definitely get more.

The habitat has 87 HD cameras (up seven) and over 100 microphones.

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman. He and Julie Chen are the only staffers who have been there since Big Brother 1.

and other pets. Never put it on or near a television, radio or hi-fi, or a fridge."
