Day 52 - Friday, August 5
Another delivery
James received the second care package, consisting of the power to nullify two votes.. he'll announce to Julie and all on next Thursday's (first) eviction which two hamsters will not vote.. he also got undies, socks, cookies and sunglasses - still no tracker jackers.. like Natalie last week, he was grateful and thanked "America"
That got them all buzzing of course, particularly Nicole who'd been trashing Natalie to Corey for quite awhile before the delivery came.. it also got James joking about whoever's on the block better be his best friend.. also Captain Camo will now be known as Captain Underpants
Victor nominated Michelle and Zakiyah as planned.. he made a big speech, wore his red HOH robe, and threw Mardi Gras beads to the nominees, but I think TPTB kaiboshed the jester hat.. when the feeds returned, Michelle was hysterically sobbing with the girls clustered around her, and the guys were laughing in another room.. Michelle was mostly saying she didn't understand why Victor called her mean, and also said if she goes home this week without ever being HOH or Have-not, she'll "literally" not be a BB fan anymore
Pee-Pee carried out their ruse of being caught unawares by the noms, and none of the others seemed to question that except Michelle.. Zakiyah later told Paulie about Michelle telling her he had to know, and said she doesn't know what to do now.. by the way, she was bumpercar bumping with Paulie again early this morning.. Victor told Michelle he was basically going for good TV, and Paul put in some time with each nominee to console and commiserate, and feign ignorance
More later, maybe

Day 51 - Thursday, August 4
The morning after
They rolled out of their beds after their sloppy night to prep for their big day and night.. Da'Vonne made her last breakfast of bacon with brown sugar, unless she boomerangs back in tonight with the Round Trip ticket.. I'm hoping she does have it because it'll make them all go berserk, plus she's one of the remaining few who bring any interest to the feeds.. I'm not buying the #8 = Ocho Rios = Round Trip theory as I think it's probably too complex and far-fetched for BB (remember, their clue to call Paris was literally "call Paris") but if it's so, so be it
Well, it wasn't so: Da'Vonne was evicted 6-2 with Zakiyah and Michelle being the 2, and when Julie opened her #8 envelope, it was another one way ticket - to the jury house, as it happens.. Julie announced that they are indeed in jury now, and she announced to us that next week is a double eviction
#Grossmance
The HOH comp was Harsh Hashtags, the one where they stood on little discs on cables that spun, and they were all spun in rotation that included bashing into a big foam hashtag on each revolution.. the decor was signs reading #Grossmance, #USuck, #LameNLazy, #Zingbait, and the like.. grossmance was the best, although I'm sure none of the coupled-up hamsters thought it referred to them.. Julie sent out three "internet trolls" before she signed off, costumed staff or extras to wack them with foam bats
Feeds came on momentarily after the credits rolled, and James and Bridgette were already off (James came off first).. Corey came off next after approx 20 minutes, so he'll be a Have-not again next week along with James and Bridgette.. the troll people came out when he fell off to bash him with their foam bats, on behalf of goats everywhere and people he grossed out by diddling himself while he watched Zakiyah humping Paulie last night
Did I mention they were spinning a lot? Michelle came off at approx 30 minutes, after puking all over the mat.. she was only beaten lightly by the trolls, and she began crying again when she joined the peanut gallery of spectators.. Paul good-naturedly suggested hashtag #VomitCrybaby and it was a fine suggestion
Nicole and Natalie both said they too felt pukey.. Nicole made a superb recovery from a near fall but then came down hard at approx 50 minutes.. Victor tried pitching deals from the start but nobody was biting.. Zakiyah came off at approx one hour and Paulie came off a few minutes later
Then it was down to Victor and Natalie, and most feedsters were okay with that.. they asked and pleaded for the other to drop but neither did, and both said they just wanted a letter from their respective mommas.. Natalie was spinning a lot more than Victor and whacking the foam sign hard on every rotation.. Victor looked a lot more solid but his hands were getting cut up, and he was sweating up a storm
The peanut gallery were pretty lousy cheerleaders, but Natalie and Victor told each other "good job!" frequently.. they continued hanging in there and not making deals, but Natalie finally gave up and dropped approx two hours after they started.. a great job by both!
Michelle cried some more later, feeling betrayed by the vote and not being in on the plans for it.. Natalie beat herself up for losing the comp.. Corey and Nicole wondered about everyone's popularity among viewers.. Victor got his room shortly after midnight, with a letter from his momma and music by Drake
Nicole confessed to Corey that Fatal Five and her Final 2 with Frank were real and she'd been fibbing to him - he said he already knew that, everybody knew that.. Pee-Pee (Paul and Paulie) put in their time with Victor and the last I heard, he planned to nominated Michelle and Zakiyah, incorporating HOH robe, jester hat, and Mardi Gras beads at the ceremony

Celebrity Big Brother
Another celeb series kicked off July 28! Outside UK, use Hide My Ass to watch live or archive shows and clips.. there are loads of other VPNs out there but I use and recommend HMA because it's safe, secure, and easy to use (just select a UK server), available for multiple platforms, plus they have great customer service for questions or problems
You can watch live at Channel 5's online live stream link.. shows are usually daily, plus Bit on the Side talk show and an hour live from the house, but check the air show schedule - remember UK time is 8 hours ahead of Pacific and 5 hours ahead of Eastern.. the official site has archive air shows and talk shows, highlights, previews, and info

EVICTED 6-2
She lasted longer than last time, but not as long as she hoped. Like Frank and Nicole, she started gaming too hard and turning on her fellow vets, when the four of them could have steamrolled the eejit noobs and gone all the way. Da'Vonne played better than some, planting little poison seedbombs against others that took root and grew, but they came back to bite her. She gave us good Diaries again, creative turns of phrase, deadly if-looks-could-kill glares, and occasional belly laughs. Now and then she dropped her game face and gave us a funny, relaxed one instead, and it was always good to see.

Won: 8 days pixel suit; Outback dinner TEAM CATEGORY 4
He made a rookie mistake by playing too hard and fast, way too early, when he should have laid low and enjoyed the safety that was handed to him. But he played for his life last time, and he was mentored by the sidekick rather than the master. His social game was the best of the bunch till he got in trouble for slapping asses and being mouthy, but he's not a bad guy overall and his exit was a fatal hit for the feeds. Pixels were his third costume, a hamster record. His friendship with Bridgette was fun to watch, with funky movie retells and baking, and every random topic under the sun.
|

Won: $2,500 TEAM FREAKAZOID
She came in looking and sounding so much like Vanessa it was spooky, but it didn't take long to realize her game was more Audrey-style chaos and sabotage than poker-faced strategy. Paulie's the only one who didn't get that memo but that's Paulie for you. Two weeks in a row she didn't campaign to save herself nearly as much as others campaigned for her, but when she transformed into Free Agent IDGAF Tiffany it was a joy to behold. I'm surprised #They let one of the six stuntcasts go before jury, but it just goes to show the whole thing isn't as rigged as some believe.
|

Won: Immunity 1st 2 evictions TEAM UNICORN
She went in saying she'd use behavioral sciences to maneuver her way to the win but she spent most of her time with Bridgette and Natalie who were barely playing BB. Her huge confession to them about being the 'secret nerd' and aspiring mathematician was just silly, and she'll always be remembered for not knowing what 9x9 is. She didn't bring much to the table beyond her abnormally high voice and hair bows, and even the hair bows didn't stick around. She seems like a pleasant enough person but like so many others, she should have gone on a dating show instead.
|

Won: Nothing TEAM BIG SISTER
One of the most delusional hamsters ever (and that's saying something), he was convinced he owned the house, he was the messiah of the newbies, the savior, the sanctuary, and the next Mario Lopez. He wore his doggie comp suit for days, but mostly he just wore underpants. His gametalks with Paul and Victor were pure comedy since they had no clue whatsoever how far out of every loop they were, and The Jozea and Paul Talk Show concluded with the two of them roaming the house looking for a camera that worked. Jozea's shtick got old fast for many, but he was feeds gold for trainwreck fans like myself.
|

Won: $2,500 TEAM FREAKAZOID
I didn't like having to combine an intro with an obit, but that's how the dog biscuit crumbles. He seemed like a fun guy with potential for fun feeds, especially his admission that he'd be 'willing to flirt if necessary' but he also might have gotten into heated political discussions, and BB is not the place for that. He didn't technically get Jodi'd since he got to compete twice, but gone before feeds is never good, and neither is trial by combat. Too bad the token older/regular person/fan got the first boot but young, pretty, hormonal hamsters are all the rage anymore.

Day 8 CBS premiere was June 22
Day 9 Feeds began June 23
Day 99 Finale is September 21
Feeds are streamed by CBS, and Flashback remains accessible via All Access subscription. Call 888-274-5343 for account help, including cancellation.
CBS shows are Sundays 8pm, Wednesdays 8pm, eviction Thursdays 9pm (Global in Canada).
Big Brother After Dark is on POP and airs Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday midnight to 3am, Tuesday 11pm to 3am, Thursday 1am to 3am. The aired blocks are recorded earlier on the same night.
HOH's team members had immunity from nomination all week. Unlike HOH, the Roadkill winner could nominate someone from his/her team.
HOH named the renom if veto was used on one of his/her nominees. If the Roadkill nominee came off, Roadkill winner named the renom.

BB18 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. Stipend for the others is $1,000 per week again, including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Siblings might and veterans definitely get more.
The habitat has 87 HD cameras (up seven) and over 100 microphones.
The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman. He and Julie Chen are the only staffers who have been there since Big Brother 1.
