This site is about the Big Brother 18 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. Thanks for encouraging my behavior.

Care package #1

They were told about the five upcoming care package votes and that nobody could get more than one, but they weren't told what they were.. they were told they have to be opened in front of everyone and shortly after that, the first was delivered to Natalie.. she got the Never-not Pass along with socks, stickers, temp tattoos, toothpaste and floss.. she was thrilled and grateful to those who voted for her

Natalie would probably "need" one of the later powers more, especially since she was excited about being Have-not this week: she likes the bumper car beds (most of them do) and the room, and she figurd she'd lose weight.. but what's done is done and she was happy about it

Things went south from there, with James joking(?) she got it because we want to see them continue to bed and snuggle together.. Nicole and Michelle figured Natalie was "getting good edits".. Paul said he can put her up now since he'd told her last night he didn't want her to be Have-not on the block again.. Paulie told several of them he's calling her FT now, for "fake titties"

Paulie took it further, telling Paul that Natalie should definitely go up now rather than himself-as-pawn, "especially after the way she acted with the care package, like dude you need to humble your girl" about James.. he also said "everybody hates Natalie" and he doesn't want "another fuckin Victoria situation or a fuckin GinaMarie situation" and they should "clip" Natalie now, and "it'd be hilarious if I was up there, but more hilarious if her"

Wait, "you need to humble your girl" - huh? Paulie's playing Big Brother 1956, the girls are going to go BB6-type Friendship, and it's going to be a very long week and a long wait til the next/better package is delivered

Paul nominated Bridgette and Paulie, as planned last night, with Paulie as pawn.. Paul's target is Bridgette and Paulie's was Da'Vonne, but he may have shifted to Natalie after today.. maybe the old "pawns go home" rule/curse will come back in play

They spent the day and night gathering in groups of twos, threes, more to shoot the breeze and trashtalk, sometimes in the Paris room, then they shuffled into new groups for more of the same.. Bridgette was on her own most of the day, telling us at one point she was getting pretty lonely.. Paul put shaving cream in Michelle's tea, which she drank.. she screamed, and then she threw an apple at him that raised a welt.. she was called to Diary and began to boo hoo that she was "in trouble" - sounded like they gave her a warning.. Flashback 7/29 11.50pm

Day 44 - Thursday, July 28

Celebrity Big Brother

Another celeb series kicked off Thursday! Outside UK, use Hide My Ass to watch live or archive shows and clips.. there are loads of other VPNs out there but I use and recommend HMA because it's safe, secure, and easy to use (just select a UK server), available for multiple platforms, plus they have great customer service for questions or problems

You can watch live at Channel 5's online live stream link.. shows are usually daily, plus Bit on the Side talk show and an hour live from the house, but check the air show schedule - remember UK time is 8 hours ahead of Pacific and 5 hours ahead of Eastern.. the official site has archive air shows and talk shows, highlights, previews, and info

As always, most of the cast is controversial or has featured in highly publicized scandals - Google is your friend.. in order of intro/entry:

Christopher Biggins actor/comedian
Saira Khan reality tv
Frankie Grande brother/USA Big Brother 16
Ricky Norwood soap actor
Renee Graziano reality tv
Marnie Simpson reality tv
James Whale radio/tv host
Aubrey O'Day singer/reality tv
Stephen Bear reality tv
Katie Waissel reality tv
Lewis Bloor reality tv
Grant Bovey producer
Chloe Khan Playboy model/reality tv
Colin Newell aka Heavy D reality tv
Samantha Fox former pop star/topless model

Their first of probably many twists was an instant viewer vote for "Boss of the House" where the winner (loser), Christopher Biggins, will think he has immunity plus control of nominations, but it's a fake power and the others will know about it

Day 44 - Thursday, July 28

Back in the USA

We're several weeks in and the thrill and anticipation of appearing on live tv has certainly worn off.. most of them were napping again/still when Jeffish took them away to wake up, primp and prep

Frank was evicted unanimously, and his ticket wasn't the Round Trip.. Julie announced voting for "care packages" - info for that is to your left

Then she sent them out to their comp, which was a rolly-ball setup in which they could take as many yellow ball practice shots as they wanted, but their one red ball roll would count.. if nobody got the goal, HOH would be whoever dropped their ball into the highest point slot, and the four lowest would be Have-nots

It looked like a couple of them were getting good practice rolls when the credits took them away, and the rest of the comp was blocked from the feeds.. when they came back, Paul had won with a points shot, and Corey, Natalie, Paulie, Zakiyah were named Have-nots, though apparently that won't start until they get their supplement food display on Friday or Saturday

Paul told Corey and Victor he wanted to put up one of them against Bridgette to ensure a veto win, but they didn't like that much.. Paulie pushed for Da'Vonne, Da'Vonne pushed for Nicole, Nicole pushed for Natalie, and Paul said he's set on getting Bridgette out and wasn't happy at the lack of volunteers to further his agenda.. he finally got his room and goodies and letter from mom after After Dark ended, and pawn roulette carried on.. eventually Nicole, Corey, Paulie were all fighting for the honor of being nominated (really).. I think they ended up with Bridgette and Paulie, because Paulie wanted Da'Vonne to go up as renom (and out) more than Paul wanted Bridgette gone, but it might revert back to Nicole, or Corey

I probably won't be watching feeds as closely as I do most times because ugh, but I'll report any "major" news if/when it happens

Michelle after throwing the apple: I'm going to get in trouble!
Paul: It doesn't hurt, it just left a mark.. I'm glad it didn't hit me in the face though

Thursday Nicole: Would you guys consider that a crapshoot?
Paul: No

Nicole: It's between you or me
Corey: Why? What did we do? We haven't done anything! We sit in this damn bed 24/7

Paul: I feel like every live feeder hates me

Jozea (tweet deleted): Paul please take paulie's offer! Put him as a pond then Backdoor that ass ugh open your eyes!

VTE = Voted to evict

It wouldn't hurt to put these HOH comps on the feeds. We have precious little else to watch, and results are known as soon as the feeds come back anyway. We've accepted not having veto (or Roadkill or BOB or Have-not) comps on the feeds, but they've almost always shown us HOH comps before, except for those following double eviction shows. I don't think many feedsters makes a point of either watching or not watching Sunday shows to see them play out, especially when we've seen the set up. It's their show and they can do what they want, but we don't have to like it. It was nice to see another new comp and the secret room was fun for a day, even though I think they left out YOU MAY WANT TO KEEP IT TO YOURSELF clue, but that was comical, all things considered. But leaving out Paul's browbeating Bridgette session was a glaring omission from Thursday's edit. They aired Jace's on Steve, and that one was theatrical.

He made a rookie mistake by playing too hard and fast, way too early, when he should have laid low and enjoyed the safety that was handed to him. But he played for his life last time, and he was mentored by the sidekick rather than the master. His social game was the best of the bunch till he got in trouble for slapping asses and being mouthy, but he's not a bad guy overall and his exit was a fatal hit for the feeds. Pixels were his third costume, a hamster record. His friendship with Bridgette was fun to watch, with funky movie retells and baking, and every random topic under the sun.

Won: $2,500

She came in looking and sounding so much like Vanessa it was spooky, but it didn't take long to realize her game was more Audrey-style chaos and sabotage than poker-faced strategy. Paulie's the only one who didn't get that memo but that's Paulie for you. Two weeks in a row she didn't campaign to save herself nearly as much as others campaigned for her, but when she transformed into Free Agent IDGAF Tiffany it was a joy to behold. I'm surprised #They let one of the six stuntcasts go before jury, but it just goes to show the whole thing isn't as rigged as some believe.

Won: Immunity 1st 2 evictions

She went in saying she'd use behavioral sciences to maneuver her way to the win but she spent most of her time with Bridgette and Natalie who were barely playing BB. Her huge confession to them about being the 'secret nerd' and aspiring mathematician was just silly, and she'll always be remembered for not knowing what 9x9 is. She didn't bring much to the table beyond her abnormally high voice and hair bows, and even the hair bows didn't stick around. She seems like a pleasant enough person but like so many others, she should have gone on a dating show instead.

Won: Nothing

One of the most delusional hamsters ever (and that's saying something), he was convinced he owned the house, he was the messiah of the newbies, the savior, the sanctuary, and the next Mario Lopez. He wore his doggie comp suit for days, but mostly he just wore underpants. His gametalks with Paul and Victor were pure comedy since they had no clue whatsoever how far out of every loop they were, and The Jozea and Paul Talk Show concluded with the two of them roaming the house looking for a camera that worked. Jozea's shtick got old fast for many, but he was feeds gold for trainwreck fans like myself.

Won: $2,500

I didn't like having to combine an intro with an obit, but that's how the dog biscuit crumbles. He seemed like a fun guy with potential for fun feeds, especially his admission that he'd be 'willing to flirt if necessary' but he also might have gotten into heated political discussions, and BB is not the place for that. He didn't technically get Jodi'd since he got to compete twice, but gone before feeds is never good, and neither is trial by combat. Too bad the token older/regular person/fan got the first boot but young, pretty, hormonal hamsters are all the rage anymore.

Big Brother 18 FAQ
Day 1 Move-in was June 15
Day 8 CBS premiere was June 22
Day 9 Feeds began June 23
Day 99 Finale is September 21

Feeds are streamed by CBS, and Flashback remains accessible via All Access subscription. Call 888-274-5343 for account help, including cancellation.

CBS shows are Sundays 8pm, Wednesdays 8pm, eviction Thursdays 9pm (Global in Canada).

Big Brother After Dark is on POP and airs Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday midnight to 3am, Tuesday 11pm to 3am, Thursday 1am to 3am. The aired blocks are recorded earlier on the same night.

HOH's team members had immunity from nomination all week. Unlike HOH, the Roadkill winner could nominate someone from his/her team.

HOH named the renom if veto was used on one of his/her nominees. If the Roadkill nominee came off, Roadkill winner named the renom.

The CBS app (by CBS Interactive) plays BB air shows and other CBS shows, as well as feeds, or you can use your browser to watch feeds on mobile devices. The same All Access link used to subscribe will lead to the feeds viewing page if you're already signed up.

BB18 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. Stipend for the others is $1,000 per week again, including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Siblings might and veterans definitely get more.

The habitat has 87 HD cameras (up seven) and over 100 microphones.

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman. He and Julie Chen are the only staffers who have been there since Big Brother 1.
