Big Brother 15
Daily Hamsterwatch
I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 16 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. Thanks for encouraging my behavior.

Nothing unexpected yet (Friday 8/22)

Cody nominated Donny and Nicole, as planned, and he also named Donny as Have-not - Nicole volunteered.. their squish kabobs turned out to be compressed fish meat, clams, and tofu.. later Caleb told Frankie he'd almost volunteered so he could lose the weight he says he packed on this past week, and Frankie (who's only been Have-not once) said that he loves tofu.. both agreed their game was "more important"

Victoria & Christine's time as Have-nots came to an end about 12 hours earlier than usual, without fanfare.. Victoria was feeling unwell, claiming wisdom teeth pain - that can't be good in there

Derrick and Donny had an interesting chat before noms - Flashback 8/22 1.52pm.. it would have been a popcorn-worthy confrontation if either of them was the confrontational type, but no.. it was interesting anyway because they're both on to each other, but they've been tip-toeing around that fact to each other's faces while psst-pssting to their respective minions about the other.. this time there was some subtle acknowledgment of that, particularly in the subtext, but it didn't really go anywhere.. one tidbit that did come out was that they'd seen each other at casting semifinals, and Donny broke the "no talking" rules to tell Derrick where to find a restroom.. Derrick said he went home and told wife Jana that if "that guy" is on the show with him, that he'd work with him.. he also added that "a lot has changed since that day.. we're deep in this game now"

The rest of the day brought a lot of not much.. Derrick built some impressive structures out of squish kabob skewers and various others built little Jenga buildings.. Victoria continued to suffer (for real) with no doctor visit or strong meds from her many Diary visits.. psst-pssting and behind-backs trashing raged on, like it does, including more tall tales about who Donny really is

They got a meager booze delivery which wound up the few drinkers a bit, but not a lot.. Donny started to come alive a little even though he was a Have-not and thus not drinking, but his bedtime cut that short fast.. overnight brought "wrestling" moves among the guys: Frankie made something sexual out of all that, and Derrick finally said so out loud

Standing by (Thursday 8/21)

They did their haircuts and primps, and the guys cleaned the kitchen and vacuumed - Zach slept through all that, surprising no one.. he rolled out of bed just before the feeds went to Jeffish for rehearsals and the like

It should be a busy show tonight, what with Zingbot/Kathy recaps, eviction, jury house arrivals, Revive-a-Hamster©, whatever storylines they throw at us, Julie doing the ice bucket challenge, and maybe/hopefully an HOH endurance starting.. if they kick that off on the show, we should be able to watch it on feeds, so get them to watch it

Unfortunately still no endurance - boo! but you should still get the feeds so you can keep up, flashback to anything that's come before, and help support this site.. Zach was evicted 5-0 and he had a great exit and exit interview

Nicole won the juror comp, which was the shuffleboard crapshoot we saw a mockup of earlier, and thus she was revived and is back in the game.. for some reason they had them in boxing outfits with boxing signs around the shuffleboard table.. Cody won the HOH comp, which sounds like it was a run and hit the buzzer affair based on what day did things happen

Nicole shared some eviction and jury house stories, including how much Hayden doted on her there and that she kinda likes him now (but "we aren't TOGETHER-together").. they filled her in on what she missed including Zingbot & Kathy, and their version of the Zach saga.. she had a sit-down with Donny, and later she made a pretty good pitch to Cody, but he's putting up her & Donny of course, because we don't get any surprises this season

Cody's letter was from his mom and his music was Papa Roach.. Cody said he wanted the nest to himself for one night, so Frankie finally moved out of the HOH room

Ratings - Revive-a-Hamster Game & Currency edition

Ratings are based on thin air and done with mirrors
VTE = Voted to evict

Everyone was hoping for an endurance like last year including the currents and jurors, but no such luck. The highlight of course was Julie getting dumped in the ALS challenge. Even though she had no ice cubes and they used it as a CBS cross-promo, it was good to see her step away from Chenbot for a couple minutes and cut loose into her The Talk persona. But really, wouldn't it have been more fun to see a BB personality do it to her? This is where they could have utilized Jeff, but I guess he's not ready for prime time.

Won: $5,000, shaved head, 48 hr Adam & Eve with Victoria, football trip

VTE Zach
His game is loyalty and his currency is one vote, and that's all they're keeping him around for. He still makes me laugh a lot for his ludicrous analogies and ridiculous stories, but I'd rather see BB5 Cowboy again than the Beast Mode/Creep Mode version: at least he gave us new vocabulary words we can use.

Won: Football trip

VTE Zach
Her game is shifted loyalty and her currency is one vote, and that's all they're keeping her around for too. She might have been able to do some damage if she'd hooked up with Nicole again plus Zach and/or Victoria, but we know how that turned out. Now she's just passing time until she gets Britney'd. I don't think she's the satanic succubus that some do. To me she's the non-actormodel 'regular person' fan we're always hoping for, and yet she's hated. Maybe that's why they keep casting actormodel wannabes.

Won: 24 hrs kicking self

No vote (nominee)
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
His game is following the leader plus flirting, and his currency is one vote. Like most of them, his leader is Derrick, only it's a lot more blatant with Cody. He's BB14 Shane all over again, from the good looks and part-time actormodel background to the total lack of BB knowledge, questionable ambiguity, and easy moldability by those in charge, and he looks perfectly set up to finish around 4th place like Shane did.

Won: $15,000
TEAM AMERICA

VTE Zach
His game is playing to win and his currency is trust. Like the very small handful of expert puppetmasters who came before him, he's got all his ducks lined up in a row on the path to $500,000. And like them, he's got to start doing some tricky juggling and fancy footwork about now, as well as hoping luck's on his side. He's really only got two potential roadblocks on that path and they're both nominated, so luck appears to be on his side for the moment. It helps that most of them are dumber than rocks, but as numbers continue to thin, one or two might start noticing they're getting got.

Won: $15,000
TEAM AMERICA

VTE Zach
NOMINATED
His game is being a nice guy and his currency is greatly devalued. I continue to have mixed feelings about him because he continues to complain about nobody talking game to him before or talking to him at all now, yet he continues to isolate himself with his non-adaptable hours. Being such a reality TV nut, I'm surprised his social game doesn't have more aspects to it, because more are needed here. I do enjoy his personality though as well as his one-liners, and it's probably in his own best interests if he escapes this den of vipers before things turn ugly. He'll be just fine after this whether he returns to his orderly offline life or whether he decides to become a social media mogul.. yep, I'm serious. He could pull it off.

Won: $15,000, football trip
TEAM AMERICA

No vote (HOH)
His game is stardom and his currency is counterfeit. He remains on Hamsterwatch ignore because of his obnoxious, pretentious, name-dropping, one-upping, limelight-stealing, everlasting narcissism, and his constant inappropriate words and behavior. He's also doing his best to promote every negative gay stereotype possible. In short, #STFUFrankie.

Won: 1 wk frog, 1 wk Germitard

REVIVED
NOMINATED
Her game is savvy subtlety and her currency is fluctuating. She's proven she can win comps and take on the big targets, despite her small town naiveté and fun personality. But her reputation among the ruling regime now is liar and 'war mongerer' and that probably can't be repaired unless she gets Derrick gone. If she survives this week, she'll need to rely on comp wins and luck to go the distance. Rachel won that way, but on her second try.. usually that's a blueprint for third place.

Won: 48 hr Adam & Eve with Caleb

VTE Zach
Her game is tagging along and her currency is winner's insurance. Several of them understand the value of that currency now but Derrick saw her first and brought her under his protective wing when they were still making 'who?' jokes. I find her humorous, both intentionally and not, and I find it especially funny when Derrick has to run longer and longer damage control laps around her high maintenance insecurity. I feel for her wisdom teeth problems - I wouldn't wish that on anyone in this setting - but I shake my head over her being more worried about her swollen face than she is about the pain.

Won: Germany trip
EVICTED 5-0
A kooky combo of erratic, volatile, and endearing, he was unique in every way. He slept much of the time but when he was awake he was as unpredictable as they get, a rare and valuable hamster quality. He'll be remembered for his Victoria's ever-present pink hat, cuddling with Frankie, for being the TAFY 'escape goat', and most of all for playing a pretty crappy game yet ending up a huge fan favorite anyway.

Won: Nothing
He was the nice guy they all liked, and it's always rough to lose that guy early. Slightly immature with no shame, he was extremely good-natured and responsible for most of the just-for-fun activities and spontaneous silliness. He was cute with Nicole and a perfect combo of Jackass and hamster. He brought a lightness to the feeds that was missed when he left.

Won: Nothing
She didn't bring the holy wars I feared but she did speak in tongues. She cried a lot but she also laughed a lot, and she did great Diaries. She'll be remembered for her bow ties, her choir robe/portable changing room, and most of all her judgemental, IDGAF, side-eye, and the hell you say expressions.

Won: Nothing
A stunningly gorgeous model, she lasted longer than the hamster in that slot usually does, but she exited on another unanimous vote, and before jury. She wanted to play a clean game and that usually doesn't work out so well on this show. She was a good sport about pranks, including the antiquing shown here, but she'll mostly be remembered as the object of Caleb's dreams, and I do mean dreams.

Won: 2400 goals
She was the rawest recruit we've had in awhile and she didn't do much homework, which worked against her in a big way. She seemed to have pretty good game instincts and may have done some real damage if she'd been better prepared. She'll be remembered for her high bun as well as the few times her hair escaped it and landed her in Deathrace 2014 hall of fame, and for sticking with and completing that brutal soccer task when she didn't have to.

Won: Nothing
He has a daughter.

PS He easily wins the Best Evictee Award with this.

Won: Nothing
I kept hoping for the spitfire she plays on Twitter & Instagram to show up but it didn't until the veto meeting blowup. She was well on her way to being a perma-pawn but she stressed about not being able to win comps, and then Devin happened and out she went. She had a lot of entertainment potential and while we were robbed of most of it by her early exit, we'll always have CALTORU.

TEAM AMERICA FAIL
Won: Nothing
She blew up her game prematurely and spectacularly, and then her alter ego Alex and his 'big ass balls' sealed the deal. Supposedly she beat someone with 500k Twitter followers (plus 15 million backup) in a public vote, but that went splat just like BB12's saboteur Annie. Joey was lively and personable, a worthy member of the first out club, and she easily leads the pack of hamsters with unnatural hair colors.
