This site is about the Big Brother 14 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo POWER STATUS Dan won Part 1 Ian won Part 2 Ian won Part 3 and the final HOH Ian evicted Danielle Ian won Big Brother 14! Boogie was the only one who didn't vote to enter. If all had said no, there would have been a hamster revival. Willie was ejected for head-butting Joe. Threats & verbal attacks are legal - aggressive physical contact is not. They called pre-show sequester 'convention' or 'knitting convention', and they're calling Diary 'the wizard' or 'dairy queen'. Ashley revealed they wear earpieces for nominations, at least early on. CBS shows were Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm. Big Brother After Dark aired midnight to 3am nightly (1am to 4am Thursdays) on Showtime (SHO2) in USA, and on Slice in Canada at various times - check your local listings. BB14 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. Kara and Jenn may have gotten more. The coach of the winner would have gotten $100k without the untwist. Returning veterans got $20k to show up, and/or a higher stipend after the untwist. The habitat has 53 cameras (up one) and 98 microphones (up three). The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman. All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary. The Glass House premiered June 18 on ABC and ran for 10 episodes. The winner got $250,000 - half the usual BB winning amount. The glass hamsters went into hotel sequester on weekends. I guess that's fair since season premieres are a network investment and finales are just dessert, but it's kind of odd they don't devote a bit more time & energy to our little show, since daytime Julie transforms to primetime Chenbot for it, and then goes home as Mrs MoonvesThe feeds went to trivia early and stayed there for the three remainders to pack, primp, and get pumped up for their big night.. they've done that before on this last day and it wasn't unexpected, but I've added it to the Extracurricular Tally as yet another excessive feeds block for the season We had an oops between the endless trivia, when a stand-in was caught sitting in for Dan.. I think this is the kind of thing they do on Thursdays when hamsters are in HOH lockdown to ensure camera angles, lighting and timing for the very dicey proposition of doing a live primetime television show with amateurs.. or perhaps Dan's got a new look for tonight Wrap it upFor me, each BB season is one long continuous day from the premiere to the finale, and it's a relief to see this one come to an end.. while we actually have three worthy finalists here at the end and there was some intriguing gameplay, the little things that make a season memorable were lacking.. my Extracurricular Tally below is very light on fights and unique activities, void of sex events, and heavy on pinkyswears and production problemsThe twist was ridiculous: anyone who didn't think coaches would end up players or who believed their $100k bonus was really in the budget should hit me up: I've got a bridge for sale, cheap Veterans caused problems for me again, mostly because getting to know the hamsters is the big draw for me, but also because they intimidate the newbies and take over the game, the feedmasters focus on them almost exclusively, they warn the newbies about greenlight cameras and avoiding the verbal & visual slips that we love, and last but far from least, they encourage the newbies to flaunt the rules since they know there are no repercussions when they're broken - we're the ones who are punished by fishies.. the feeds also had many glitches like intermittent looping & loading for most, that persisted all season for many, and extremely low volume.. caps were difficult due to horrendously inconsistent and/or bad lighting, particularly in the parlor/arcade which was like a black hole This season's newbies were even more lackluster than usual, probably due to the has-beens intimidation factor but also because out of 12 fresh faces, only three - Ian, Frank, and Jodi - were fan applicants, and the rest were recruited from dating shows that rejected them, from Facebook, and off the street.. after two disastrous seasons, here's hoping they've learned their lesson and will never again mix experienced hamsters with green noobs.. they NEED to go back to all new hamsters, and I'll take it even further: they should go all superfans or even better, all clueless Shanes who have no idea how it all works.. having them all figure it out as they go, some faster than others, is one of the many things that made the old seasons better than the recent We had no luxury comps other than three predictable Pandoras; no shopping sprees with new clothes; no movie night promo; no Tori Spellings, David Hasselhoffs, Jeremy Pivens; no hamster alumni hosting comps, masseuses, dancing girls, costumed characters, or any visitors at all beyond a heatstruck Zingbot and a silly burglar we weren't even allowed to watch.. we had no night comps, no Morphomatic, no Technotronics, no mirror ghosts or item-counting or what's been moved or changed, but we did have a lot of other comp reruns, and one field trip with signed cereal souvenirs The grill came back but season ticket holders were disappointed with only one half-point match - I blame Joe for taming the monster into early submission and/or apathy.. a mouse showed up often in the backyard but like the other newbies, was cowed by the veteran ants and didn't even make an appearance on the feeds.. Team Ants were the real winners as always, taking over the habitat so completely, a few of their soldiers were found frozen in ice cubes, having completed their suicide mission .. the fishies were out of control this year, more so than ever, as The Powers That Be denied us minute after minute, hour after hour of what we paid to watch, yet CBS.com ran their ad all season promising "live/uncensored" feeds - yes, so did I and the other sites, but we have no control over them.. a few fishies died from the over-exposure, demonstrating the one true meaning of the overused and misused BB word "floaters" Co-Stars of the SeasonFor the first time ever, I've got two recipients of the (not very) coveted Hamsterwatch Star of the Season award, co-stars if you will.. while Willie was often an ass, he caused one hell of a lot of ruckus from his HOH bed, giving us all high hopes for a fabulous season despite the stoopid twist and has-beens, but the feeds pretty much ground to a halt entertainment-wise when he left.. on the other end of the spectrum and the yard, the new hammock was obviously nothing without Ian's artistry, but the continual rhythms and everlasting new varieties of creaks, moans and squeaks were music to my ears, literally.. alas, even though Ian had it swinging almost vertically at times, his mastery over it was so complete that he never gave us what would have been the mother of all hammock dumps All in all, not the best season by a long shot but as always, my hat's off to each and every hamster for putting themselves out there for our amusement, and I hope those that find this little website dedicated to their antics like what they see (or at least don't hate it too much) Huge gratitude to everyone who's visited here over the years, particularly those who made donations (and let me take a moment to subtly point out the Paypal button below, or the Amazon.com banner above - that one helps me a bit without costing you anything extra).. thanks also to all my sister sites and fellow BB tweeters, all my Hamsterwatch Chat regulars, Twitter and Facebook followers, and super big ups to @MissCleoBB14 for insight, great chops & humor, and contraband video like we've never seen before Ratings - It's a wrap editionVTW = Voted to win

NEWS & UPDATESBig Brother has officially been renewed for its 15th season next summer. Big Brother Canada's debut season premieres in February.Producers will award the $25k viewer favorite to their choice - your free online votes just up their traffic so they can charge higher advertising rates across all of CBS.com. However if you must vote on this poll, I fully endorse Ian! With some backup votes for Jodi, if Ian ends up in the Final Two! She got royally screwed by BB but has been a great sport about it, and very funny and personable on Twitter. Frank is the only other fan applicant this season, but Jodi's dreams of hamsterdom were shattered before she even had a chance to start. Remember on the premiere when Julie announced a $100k prize for the coach whose player won the season? Yeah, that $100k. BB Australia ran from August 12 to November 7, and was won by Benjamin Norris, Australia's first openly gay winner. Like UK BB and UK Celeb BB, it didn't have feeds anymore, but see Links of the Day for quick videos of air shows and related talk shows for all of them. Final three and juror Twitters are @TulaneTerry, @DanGheesling, @DanielleAlexisM, @shanemeaney, @msjenncity, @ChefArvin, @Frankeudy, @britney_haynes, @ashleyiocco Evictee/ejectee Twitters are @WilHeuser, @JanellePierzina, @JoJoDoll1, @HantzBB, @KaraMonaco, @Jodisbox Imposters are out there - these are the real ones. You can still rewatch BB14 and BB13 feeds with Flashback on SuperPass, plus they continue to generate lots of original Big Brother and other reality content.
