Watch Big Brother 14 on SuperPass! Daily Hamsterwatch
I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 14 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

Willie is HOH
Kara & Frank are nominated
Shane won veto
Ashley, Danielle & Shane are Have-not

Available for Android or iPhone/iPad

Big Brother 13 at iTunesicon
BB7 All-Stars and seasons 9 through 12 are also available

If you have SuperPass, access mobile feeds by going to on your mobile device's browser. Log in (upper right), select Big Brother, and select Live Feeds from the drop menu. There is no app.

They're calling Diary 'the wizard' and 'convention' is pre-show sequester.

Ashley revealed they wear earpieces for nominations, presumably in case prompting is needed for 'Hamster A, you are safe' and 'Thank you, Hamster B'.

CBS shows are Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm.

Big Brother After Dark airs midnight to 3am nightly (1am to 4am Thursdays) on Showtime (SHO2) in USA, and on Global Reality and/or Slice in Canada at various times - check your local listings.

BB14 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others probably still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester.

The coach of the winner gets $100k. Returning veterans probably get more weekly stipend and/or a flat amount to show up.

The habitat has 53 cameras (up one) and 98 microphones (up three).

The recorded in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

The Glass House premiered June 18 on ABC and will run for 10 episodes. The winner will get $250,000 - half the usual BB winning amount.

Apparently the glass hamsters go into hotel sequester on weekends - no, I don't know why.

Big Brother Canada premieres February 2013.

Getting Hantzy (Saturday 7/14)

Willie decided he better out himself as Russell's brother to whoever still doesn't know before his HOH reign is over so it won't come out later and bite him.. I heard him tell Frank and Wil.. not sure if he told others but he's planning to make the full rounds

Willie told a few others that BB12 Hayden got him on the show? Coincidentally (or not), Hayden showed up Twitter-verified today - see News & Updates below.. Willie also cleaned out the fridge today, something we don't usually see until much later in the season.. Britney kind of helped with that, and kind of coached

Boogie talked restaurant chat at Joe for awhile, and included a number of racial and cultural generalizations along with Boogie-isms around the world - he's international these days.. apparently Danielle called Britney a bitch - not to her face - but that was retold here & there.. Danielle seemed to be flirting with Shane at times, and he seemed to shun it - that situation bears watching

Veto meeting is Sunday instead of the usual Monday, so meetings and gametalk went on and on - sorry, I don't pay close attention to that stuff at the best of times, and definitely not this early.. I'd guess Diary will do their best to dissuade them from booting Kara as she's their other big name, unless she has a short-term contract - it's possible

JoJo, Shane and Kara set up a prank by putting some lotion into a condom and leaving it in the shower, with the wrapper visible in the trash.. unfortunately JoJo couldn't just let it unfold and she started saying "I heard there's something in the shower", thus tipping off the prankees that something was up, and short-changing us on a good reaction.. she had quite a few choice lines trying to convince them it was real (see Lines of the Day below), and she seems to be an expert of sorts.. Kara was unphased by it all - she's probably had more on her than all the rest of them combined, on paper anyway.. (I think I probably peaked for the season with that one, if I do say so myself)

Ian confused Boogie by referring to the CBS show as "the highlights", and when he rattled off all the hamsters of all seasons, in order (Flashback 7/14 9.09pm PT), Boogie responded "this is better than you kicking yourself in the head"

They sat down to family dinner again courtesy of Chef Slop-py Joe again - those dinners usually stop after the first eviction when things start to turn nasty - Jodi notwithstanding.. Showtime brought a group game of Fuck-Marry-Kill about when my internet died, so I missed most of it and came back to still more meetings and still more gametalk.. the ants are back already

Britney did a little crying after a late Diary session, saying she was missing her home & hubby - chances are they worked her up about that to get some emotion for the show since we've not had much of that otherwise.. Janelle retold much of BB6 to Willie, reminding us of Howie's Busto rant, name-calling "the nerds" and vice versa, their 14-hour endurance comp, and of course "bye bye bitches" - good times.. Britney & Dan coached Ian on how to date, and they've set him up to ask Ashley out after tomorrow's veto meeting - shades of Adam's Phillip and Porsche's Elizabeth

Mob scene (Friday 7/13)

There's so many of them, it's really hard to get a handle on much but some of it's starting to shake itself out.. they did their veto comp and Shane won - it involved gathering oversize coins, running and soap.. they finally cleared out and opened the backyard, and they all poured out there, thus beginning the long void that leads up to Thursday

Most of the day and night was non-stop game chat, with some of them already talking finals - ridiculous.. Boogie lectured Ian for a very long time about his quirky behavior and how nobody's amused by it - he was especially perturbed by Ian having a duck on his head during noms.. Ian nodded and agreed a lot, but later did his kick-myself-in-the-face trick a couple times for them anyway.. Kara made a pitch to Willie that lasted a long time and accomplished nothing - she's already looking forward to the wrap party, possibly the earliest mention of that ever

Some and possibly all of them are onto Willie being a Hantz, and Boogie's whispering here & there that Danielle's really a nurse - the rumor mill says he got all the newbies' info before going in.. I don't think anyone knows about Frank's famous dad but most are suspicious about his unemployment status.. Janelle wants Boogie out above all and has Britney on her side to work toward that goal.. they also want Dan gone but they keep almost falling under his nice guy spell.. Ashley started recovering from her bad back and the crazy we all expected started coming out a bit, but no sign of Snow White

Joe made pot roast dinner for everyone and something extra for the Have-nots - their food restrictions aren't as tight as usual but slop is still on the menu.. Britney did a hilarious impression of him glaring at her when she didn't want something he'd made and proceeded to make something for herself, and it was probably accurate - I noticed a creepy stare potential while researching him last week

There was a skit threatened at one point but it fizzled, like they do, so game chat continued unchecked late into the night

Ratings - Getting to Know You edition

Ratings are Friday's, based on entertainment value, and can stand, especially the Producers rating. My caps are coming out particularly dark this year - I don't know if it's poor lighting in there or some sort of filter in SuperPass. I did my best with them.

They need to train the new guys better. It's always a bit touch & go at first, but this afternoon and particularly tonight's primetime was ridiculous with its back & forth feeds/fishies/feeds/fishies strobe effect. They were blocking legal things like chat about former seasons and stories prefaced with 'I'll call him Steve but that's not his real name'. We just started up again and all of us are a bit rusty, and I imagine the new staffers get a severe orientation with wrath of hell threats for anything going out onto the feeds that could cause legal problems, but going too far is going too far. Not to mention I've got enough on my plate without having to field complaints about this problem too. To add insult to injury, Showtime just carried on as if nothing was wrong - because it wasn't. They need to whip their hamsters in line and make them realize they're upsetting their fans (since most of them think they're stars, that should do the trick), and they need to whip their staff in line and stop pissing off their loyal audience. This show would be down the tubes without us and the mountains of free publicity we all spread around the interwebs for them, and they know it.

Ups for getting up, as she finally rose and moved around today, turning her back from Sleeping Beauty to Snow White. Despite all her elaborate announcements, I've not seen any alliance action from her at all so far. She started showing hints of the wacky she promised, but she's got a long ways to go before fulfilling the potential she promised.

Her job lie is about to burst out and I hate to think what will happen then, since every time you come across her on the feeds she's either counting her bruises for someone or retelling one of her tragic tales - she has a lot of them. At this rate, she might find herself as a replacement nom this week. She's probably the most dispensable one we've got at this point, so she'd better mind her ABCs or she could be out the door.

TEAMIES: Frank, Ian, Jenn
He made some very good points to Ian about social skills and the like, but he went on far too long with it and pounded poor Ian into a little pulp. And comparing a duck on the head on a reality TV show to wearing a clown costume to a funeral wasn't the best example. Apparently he had what sounds like a genuine convo about 9/11 during BB2 and other things from those days that sounds like it was quite good - I'm kind of sorry I missed it.

TEAMIES: Shane, Willie, JoJo
I've missed her impressions and her expressions when she tells a story, and I'm glad she's back (but still firmly against has-beens in principle). She's very tight with Janelle and they're a good comedy duo, but they've got to stop talking so much game. Even though they have to align now to get rid of Boogie & Dan, I think Britney sometimes forgets that Janelle will be her competition sooner or later.

TEAMIES: Kara, Danielle, Jodi
Dan was a teetotaler during his season but he got rather tipsy tonight when the booze arrived - it was the guys' night to drink. I don't remember ever seeing him even a bit sippy before, and was surprised to see how funny he was. Apparently he made a faux pas at some point by telling Britney he thought she & Lane would have been a good couple. She said that upset her since she's married now and her hubby's watching, but I suspect it was as much that she was sick to death of hearing that from hundreds of fans and didn't expect it to come from Dan too. Neither did I.

I saw him here and there today but I didn't get much from him. They all consider him a huge threat and I'm not sure why.

He's getting hammered from all sides for being awkward and irritating, but he promised 'pranks all day' and he asks for what he gets. I suspect the smarter ones are threatened by his smarts and calling him a pest is as good a way as any to get him shunned and evicted, and so is suspecting him of being Eric 2.0 America's Player. I have faith in him though and I think he'll stick around a bit longer, if not all the way to September.

TEAMIES: Wil, Ashley, Joe
Being an overnight feedster, I've always enjoyed Janelle's late night shenanigans with whoever her BFF of the season happens to be. She's funny as hell with Britney, and Wil and Willie are both great thirds for them. She's already eating a lot out of boredom so she might end up with a few extra summer pounds again. Some things are just tradition.

I saw her for a total of about five minutes today. It seemed like she was being a bit flirty with Kara but we see so little of her, it's hard to be sure.

He made dinner for all of them which was nice, but that's all I've got on him, other than the fact that his soul patch is not a good style choice at all. It looks like he's drooling.

Like Jenn, she was also AWOL for most of the day. I think she was also going to be part of the planned skit that never happened. Or maybe it did but the feedmasters didn't show it to us. They seem to be focusing mostly on the veterans, and that's one of the main reasons why veterans are a bad idea.

The most famous hamster we've ever had, known for glamour (and skin), has turned out to be something of a dud. She's got a right to be mopey about being nominated but she seems mopey in general, and her sack-like sweats aren't helping her much. I don't think this is what she thought her summer would be like, and she's not what we (or CBS) thought she'd be like. For some reason, her knees are incredibly shiny.

He won the veto and that's all I got. Again, it's hard for the noobs to get much face time, and that's what Shane's here for.

This guy's got a ton of potential for being a stellar and memorable hamster. He's funny at the right times and he's not overdoing his shtick like I was afraid he might. He's also got some kooky clothes (such as furry Uggs) that make no sense at all, and that's why I like them. Forget the Fabio references: I think Wil's got a little Mitch Hedberg going on.

I'm glad I don't have the Hantz curse of having seen too much of them already, because I can take this guy on face value alone. He mostly hangs around the coaches but that might end after the last of his power is used up at the veto meeting. He may or may not be playing the vets against each other - I know the family's got that kind of rep, but I'm not sure this guy's got what it takes upstairs to pull it off. He thought the book 'James and the Giant Peach' was called 'Jack and the Peach Tree'.

TEAM DAN, for a minute
Most were looking forward to seeing what she'd bring, but she got a raw deal and was gone before the feeds even kicked on. She'd said she was worried about lack of privacy & sleep, missing her family, and slop so maybe BB wasn't for her, and she got away without airing any dirty laundry. It had to be humiliating to go back in for the group bikini pic but that's how they do things.
