Daily Feeds RecapsDay 62 - Sunday - September 7, 2025 Ava wondered to Kelley "is there even any point to gametalk anymore?" and Kelley said no, "they all did their talking early on, except one person," meaning Ashley, and Kelley said Ashley only gametalked with Rachel anyway. Morgan kept going of course, mostly retelling her comics run ad nauseum. Ashley joined Ava and Kelley to say everything's down to comps now, which usually doesn't happen til Final Four, and she explained Old School BB as people sticking with their allies and sides going after each other. Keanu had an upset stomach this morning and said he thought it was because the tacos were too greasy. I don't know if Morgan drained the taco meat or not (or if these non-cooks know not to pour it down the sink). The flak out here from fans, former players and winners, and journalists about a Day 59 elimination with no veto, no Block Buster, no chance to campaign, and no vote, while nominees got an extra chance all season, continues to grow, and it's even been complained about by the eight remaining in the house, who benefited from it by getting one step closer to the win. Normally I think the show and the network don't care about complaints as long as casuals keep tuning in, but don't forget they have new corporate overlords who may (or may not) scrutinize the attention this stunt is getting. BB is generally not a high priority for the suits - note how much they bounce it around for higher priority programming as we head into the fall season. It's the summer workhorse that fills up three hours a week, and the massive complaining its fandom always spews is probably just a cost of doing business that they expect and overlook. But this one is bigger. Maybe the new Skydance regime won't care, but maybe they will. I have no idea. More tidbits came along about the comics, so this is now a near-complete list: Adrian was Slaying Mantis plus bread; Amy was Mommy Tearest; Ashley was Shower Power; Ava was Avadelic, you'll never come back from her trip; Jimmy was Cobra Couture; Katherine was Ringer(?) with something about piercings; Keanu was the Butt-ler, he puts the ass in assassin, plus Kenney; Kelley was Peanut Butter and Kelley, plus sheep; Lauren's was Bayou Baddie plus a baby(?); Mickey was Hotlanta; Morgan was Morgue-n; Rachel was Iconica; Rylie was Rylie the Kid on a horse; Vince was Hard Boiled Deteggtive, suspects are walking on eggshells; Will was Will-itary Man taking orders from his wife; Zach was Basebrawler plus a banana; Zae was the Cheerleader. Lauren had a moment of assertiveness and asked Keanu for a talk in HOH (whoa!) She stared at the spyscreen as she um'd and paused, and said she's "a little bit" considering Vince as renom. Keanu said "you're a little bit considering Vinny? That means you're nominating me 100%." (Correct.) He questioned if she wants him to win Block Buster or is taking a shot at him, which she didn't really answer, but implied she wants him to win Block Buster. He said if he does, Vince will still be there, and he asked why she's willing to sacrifice him and not Vince. She again didn't answer, and her long pauses staring at the screen got longer. Keanu said if he goes, Lauren will be next, and eventually he used the only ammo that might work on Lauren by saying it would really really hurt his feelings if she puts him up. Keanu retold to Vince, who commiserated and feigned surprise, and Lauren retold to Kelley and then Morgan, who both pushed for Keanu, and Lauren retold to Vince, who went hard anti-Keanu. Tension grew between Morgan and Kelley, and Morgan threatened to go off at her, but didn't. Yet. And it sounded like Ava got immunity this week with the safety chain fiasco? Day 61 - Saturday - September 6, 2025An addition to last night's recap: after Ava sobbed to Lauren about how things went down, she went off about Rachel with a lot of nasty comments. The way some of them talked about her this season is truly mind-boggling. Yes, she did her campy dramatics sometimes and yes, she often boosted her own stock as an intimidation tactic and/or for fun, but she was pleasant to virtually every one of them every day. She asked about their lives and families, she cooked for them, she made slop for them, and she cleaned up after them. Even viewers who don't like her can't deny those things. And yes, I can allow for anger or frustration in the moment but again, "Rachel is a scary monster" has been a recurring underlying narrative in there all season, with no basis. It's new for Ava, at least to that degree, but overall it's just a very bad look for most of them, and reminiscent of some of the more vile seasons we've had to suffer through. Back to the present, Ava and Vince were picked to play veto, and Keanu will host. Vince wondered to Lauren if he should throw it because Kelley's been good to him this season, but he picked Lauren for his number one. (And if he wins, his other number one Morgan will obviously expect him to save her, and one of his spare number ones, Kelley or more probably Keanu, would likely go up.) Ashley rattled off some of her stream-of-consciousness to Will as he had his not-listening face on. That's most of us about most of them now. Most of them expect Zingbot today which is possible. Julie usually teases that ahead of time but she was interrupted by Mastermind when she was announcing the usual Sunday show moving to Tuesday next week. It will be an indoor comp, as the yard remained open. The kitchen sink clogged, as happens every year because a lot of hamsters don't understand the difference between a sink and a trash can, especially when the sink doesn't have a grinder/disposer. The laundry machines also complained today with new rattling noises. Feeds were down for their veto comp from a little before 2pm til almost 8pm. It was BB Comics and Morgan won, so her mood was back to perky and chatty. She and Vince made tacos for everyone, since their former personal chefs both left. Lauren was only 30 seconds behind Morgan, and Ashley was third. Ashley was irritated she didn't do better and said she might as well pack her bags now, but she was pleased she did better than Vince. (It's a good bet he threw it.) Will got hurt and had a bandaged knee and calf, and a couple others had banged-up legs. Most of them expect Keanu to go up as renom, including him, but apparently they'll continue with Block Buster, and they've also talked about the elimination challenge returning. I don't know if they were told that or if they're speculating because the guy told them what he told us: month of mayhem. I didn't hear much about the comics themselves, other than Keanu's "puts the ass in assassin", Kelley's was a PB and Kelley sandwich that involved sheep, and Zach's had baseball and a banana. The comics will likely be published by one of the official access outlets before Wednesday's episode. Ava went back to saying she loves Rachel, and Kelley announced she's been hiding dead bugs around the house. In keeping with my resolution to lean into being more of a casual, and because I don't want to listen to the repetitive renom loops and Lauren's slow whispers, I don't knows, and long pauses, I'm cutting it off here for tonight. If anything pops up later, I'll catch it up in the morning as usual. If you missed what came before, click "Previous Hamsterwatch episode" up top, or hit my season index page.
