It seems Keanu told various people that Jimmy, Morgan, Rachel are snakes, and word got back to Jimmy, who rebuffed Keanu when he tried to give him a morning hug. That led to more griping from each of them about the other, and Jimmy again tried to get Vince to renom Keanu. Jimmy put on a snake necklace and said he'd stand up at the veto meeting when the box closes to make an anti-Keanu speech. (Does the box even get closed when veto is used? Shows how much I pay attention to those details.) Keanu went around and formed a 10-person alliance to run to jury (Devin says hi), and he talked very fast and nonstop in every convo, with his anti-Jimmy agenda in the forefront. Ava and Zae, who were included in the ten, each reported back to Jimmy, and Zae reported it to Rachel and Morgan. Morgan got teary to several about Keanu calling her a snake, but she and Keanu talked it over and smoothed it out, at least on the surface. Vince went back and forth about who to renom some more, and he was irritated that Keanu made a stink about being asked to wait to talk with him earlier when he (Jimmy) was talking with others. Vince finally asked Rachel what to do. She got him to realize if Keanu's on the block against Zae, one of them was likely to win Blockbuster and retaliate next week, and that Keanu was making himself a huge house target which would take the focus off Vince next week. So Kelley was still the renom default option, and Rachel said she'd keep Amy over her if they're the final nominees, but Vince seemed to think Kelley would still have the votes to stay. Rachel asked Vince if he wants to work with her and Amy and he said he does, but he's hesitant if Amy would trust him after he put her up. They mentioned having an alliance of the two of them and Vince said he has only one other (we saw his F2 with Kelley on the show, but he's also in some bigger ones). Jimmy asked Rachel if he should go ahead with making a speech/scene at veto meeting - Rachel, who's famous for making BB scenes! It turns out Ava does not wear the floppy hat 24/7: today's is fuzzy, but it still had the giant flowers. We found out the veto comp was more mental than physical; Keanu only watched last season and a few other random episodes; Vince and Rylie made a Day 1 agreement; Jimmy, Morgan, Rachel, Rylie, Vince, Zach formed Heavy Hitters; Keanu formed a brojock alliance called Shoke Smow I think, a play on smoke show - I'm not sure which other brojocks are in it; Morgan mentioned a Banana Bros alliance, which may have been about Keanu's Shoke Smow, or maybe another group of bros; Kelley and Vince agreed they could trust Zach, after previously thinking they couldn't; Adrian, Ava, Will, Zach formed a group, and talked about bringing in two more; they have no coffee; and the ants are in place. Feeds went to the first adoptable anipals of the season around noon and came back around 2.15. Ashley used her veto on herself obviously, and Vince put up his F2 Kelley in her place. Jimmy did go through with some version of his planned speech, but we didn't see it to gauge how extreme it was. He and Keanu hashed things out and played nice, and wrapped with a hug, but how sincere that was for either remains to be seen. Jimmy was pleased with his performance and mentioned several times it'll be good for ratings. Have-nots end at midnight, which seems weird since they only "started" last night for us, but they have put in their full week, and the traditional feast was discussed. We don't even know if there's a designated cook or if everyone's just been foraging, but the dining table was still fully set and unused, so they haven't been doing family dinners. Earlier Vince seemed to me to be genuinely working with Rachel, but he told Keanu "she's in everyone's ear, that's her game." That's accurate but again, it surprised me to hear it from Vince. It surprised Keanu more. ![]() Afternoon was a lot of vote count theorizing, socializing, pool playing, sunbathing, tip-toeing around about next week, and general chat. There was some confusion (by me) about Jimmy's veto meeting speech, in that he apparently involved Amy as well as Keanu? I don't know, she said later she'd felt betrayed. Hopefully we'll see it on Wednesday's show: with 90 minutes to fill and only a few defined storylines so far, we should. Kelley said this morning's shenanigans from Keanu and Jimmy was bad for both of them, but she's the one on the block and they aren't, so.. She was almost giddy about being nominated and said if she goes home, she goes and that's okay. Rachel confronted Keanu in the gym, saying she loves him being her workout coach and reminding him she's his BB coach. She told him everyone ratted out his 10-person alliance this morning and pushed for him to be renom, and Zae ratted out his snakes comments, but she told Vince right before the veto meeting "don't you dare put up Keanu" and that's why he didn't. (Debatable, but a good play to say that regardless.) She also said she'd heard Keanu said she can't be trusted. He was stunned, and tried to explain himself, but it was pointless. She said "I want to roll with you, but you can't fuck around," and "don't over-game, stop trying to make all these alliances, just calm down," and "you need to be mad at Zae, that's who you should be mad at." He sputtered some more, and tried to tell her how to play Week 1 BB, but she shut that down fast, obviously. ![]() Evening brought a game of backyard hide and seek with several of them, which Mickey won by laying down behind the poolside seating area. Keanu calmed down somewhat, for him, but he kept making rounds to check on who said what, and to make excuses for his behavior. More alliances were pitched, and more gossip was spread. Ashley said a few times that she was only in the shower for 15 minutes and the rest of the time she was talking game with Vince, which would explain why he wasn't as bothered by the two-hour shower as everyone else. But she might as well have showered that long, since he put her on the block anyway. Morgan alternately complained, got heated, and cried some more about Keanu calling her a snake, and Mickey eventually told her to let it go. (Thank you, Mickey.) Vince, who talks to Rachel like he's fully with her, continued telling whoever would listen how good her game is, and what a good talker and persuader she is. Zae did some early campaigning, asking about people's votes, and talking at them way too much. Zach had some of the more level-headed game convos, and seems to be in a very good position at the moment. The photo wall has 18 frames, which is odd since it's video and they can be arranged any number of ways. The 18th spot is the BB logo - for now? Production's reports of this cast's levels of BB knowledge were greatly exaggerated. Have-nots ended at midnight and while there wasn't any elaborate cooking going on that I'm aware of, I assume the four of them enjoyed their first meal in there. It was withheld from us, maybe to use it on the air show because Rachel. Then they can go back to ignoring it on the shows after this, and making four of them suffer each week for no reason. Reminder, subscribers to my Patreon get my daily write-ups via email every night. (iOS users, see note on left sidebar about a 30% surcharge by Apple.) And donations to my Ko-fi are extremely appreciated anytime. Thank you so much for supporting me and my little site! Day 6 - Sunday - July 13, 2025 Sunday's show kicked off with accomplice suspicions, with suspects being whittled down to two: five voted Zae and eleven voted Rylie. The accomplice didn't vote. It wasn't Rylie (and he seemed confused why so many thought it was) so the accomplice stays and our final roster is 17. It was Amy, but they weren't told that. They were told by the masked madman they haven't seen the last of him yet.![]() They finally got their move-in champagne and sat down for more self-intros. Ashley and Jimmy went through with their job-lies, and BB is still job-exaggerating about Keanu, as he introduced himself again as a fitness/nutrition trainer who does dungeon mastering on the side. Morgan added bartender to her gamer/model list. ![]() Vince read a card saying Rachel has first week immunity (shocker!) since she wasn't there yet to be eligible for the HOH comp, but she would be an automatic Have-not this week. She had to pick someone else for HN, who picked another, who picked another. Volunteers were plentiful since all four would have immunity this week. Rachel picked Will, who picked Zach, who picked Ava. So they all went to see the Have-not room which has chalk outline beds, lineup height mark walls, and evidence bags laying around. HOH room reveal also happened: it's like an old timey (murder mystery) mansion bedroom with burgundy walls and dark wood furniture. And they discovered Julie's favorite revolving door into the bathroom. Zach got a card in Diary reminding him that Julie said the move-in comps had "game-changing powers" and he learned his $10k can be used to buy his safety. He can use it anytime before jury if he's on the block after veto meeting. If/when he does, the HOH will get the cash and will have to select another nominee. That's a pretty good power. I didn't hear if he has to keep it secret or not but I'd hope so, as these things tend to flop hard otherwise. The HOH room opening led to a situation where Ashley took a too-lengthy shower, before Vince, who wanted to go to bed. He didn't seem overly bothered by it but others were and there were umpteen whispers and gossip circles about it, including one in a hammock group with Kelley delivering another stellar shockface. Retells ranged from Ashley's shower lasting two hours to 70. Amy told Ashley about the situation, Ashley went around asking people if they were bothered by her shower, which led to more gossip circles about it. Early and probably premature alliances included Jimmy, Mickey, Morgan as Triple Threat; Amy, Rachel as Mom Squad; and Kelley, Vince made an F2 deal. A lot of people threw out Ashley's name to Vince in pre-noms talks, but he reminded Jimmy he'd agreed to keep him, Adrian, Ashley safe as they were the other HOH comp players. Vince's new F2 Kelley volunteered to go up to cover up their alliance - yep, she did. But Vince didn't take her up on that offer, and he ended up nominating Zae (his preferred target), Amy (as pawn), and Ashley (the house target, as of noms time Friday). All three seemed to take it well, considering, although Amy had a Diary saying she was surprised as she and Vince had been getting along well. That may have been a Diary nudge: we don't know if Vince warned her ahead of time, or any of them for that matter.![]() Feeds started almost on time at 9.35pm, but the countdown clock was off by five minutes, so close enough. A big group of them gathered at the hot tub to do self-introductions and talk about their jobs, likely for our benefit since they're told when we join them, and they're unaware we'd just seen the champagne intro rounds on the show. It became clear relatively early that a nominee had won veto, but it took about an hour for them to clarify it was Ashley. So much for all that shower drama. Rachel and Jimmy compared gossip as if they're working together, with Rachel pointing out Kelley was being too obvious about things, including telling Rachel she was forming good relationships with a lot of people. Rachel was perturbed that she'd said that in front of other people. But Rachel was conversational with people, and patient when they were being idiotic, and generally subdued - for Rachel. Renom conversations took place all over town. Jimmy, Zach, Morgan complained about Keanu not talking game with anyone, and wanting him gone, preferably this week. And Keanu had earlier joined Kelley and Vince and pushed hard for Jimmy to be the renom. Vince wasn't having that, and Kelley again pitched herself to go up as pawn. Vince, who'd earlier said he wanted to go to bed, ended up quietly crying into his hoodie. Lauren painted Rylie's nails, a first for him, and they seemed like they're getting close and working together. Rylie said he'll never volunteer to be a pawn, so he gets a point for that. Later he said he'd gotten emotional at some point and couldn't stop crying, and said he gets like that sometimes and isn't ashamed of it. Vince downplayed his BB knowledge by asking which camera's the live feed one, and Ashley said she thought this was season 25. Kelley told Katherine, with Vince present, "I would like to work with you." Katherine didn't respond to that directly, but said she'd probably vote out Zae over Kelley if it's the two of them, but if it's Amy and Kelley, she's not sure. (In other words, she doesn't want to work with Kelley.) Kelley also said she'd put together a seven-person alliance, and we learned Jimmy, Morgan, Rachel, Rylie, Vince, Zach formed Heavy Hitters.Vote scenarios and finger-counting BB math took place endlessly, with everyone talking like they've been playing for six weeks instead of six days. This is a very sketchy recap, as usual for opening night, but things will settle into place soon. I hope. I think this season will be chock full of messy gameplay and I love that. As of midnight, it seems like Kelley will be replacing Ashley tomorrow, but every conversation had different "certainties" as to how the votes will fall.
