Daily Feeds Recaps
Day 72 - Thursday - October 12, 2023
Overnight alliance roulette carried on with various convos of everyone juggling around the Matt/Jag, Cory/America, Cirie/Felicia duos, and most everyone lying to most everyone else. At one point America, Blue, Cameron, Cirie, Cory, Felicia, Jag, Matt - everyone except Bowie - piled into bed together. Jag again told Matt they needed to lock in an F3 with Cirie (they already did back on Day 31, complete with a handshake/dance) and name it (at that time they rejected Reilly's Promise, Promise Keepers, Three Amigos, Three Peat, Three Stooges as names). Bowie, Jag, Matt also again said they needed to name their F3 but again didn't, and said they needed to bring in Cirie for an F4. Bowie and Cirie met this morning and agreed it was a good plan, and that it too had been discussed way back after Izzy left. Cameron was resigned to leave and took his usual morning spot in his nominee chair.
Filler segments on the show included Cameron fanboying about Kevin Costner, which was probably used as it made a nice Yellowstone promo/tie-in. Last night Matt asked for ideas for a new Julie compliment word and "exquisite" was suggested. Cirie said she'd use it in her nominee speech, and Felicia and Jag said they'll use it when they vote. Both nominees used it in their speeches, Matt, Blue, Felicia, Jag all used it to compliment Julie when they voted out Cameron. Julie played along and said "America, you look exquisite" when she sat down to vote, and America replied in kind. When Cory sat down, Julie asked him how she looked tonight and he said "good?" It was a fun side game that broke up the repetitiveness of the weekly vote. Cameron went out unanimously again, and Julie told him there was no revival this time, he was off to the jury house.
Julie told us it's Comic Week and said on Sunday's show the Power of Invisibility will shield the HOH identity, and on Tuesday the Power of Multiplicity will have the veto players seeing double. She then told them it's Comic Week and said "something has crash landed in the HOH room, you may want to check it out." They trooped upstairs and Cirie gave another great shockface as the door was opened because the room had a flashing crystal with debris scattered around it and fog wafting around. BB Canada's done Invisible HOH twist in seasons 9 (Victoria) and 11 (Santina). Nobody knew who won the comp or made the nominations, which made for some fun paranoia (unless/until that person chose to tell someone). And BB23 had Coin of Destiny where the winner (Claire) could secretly overthrow the HOH (Tiffany)'s noms and redo them. Claire kept them the same. I hope this one comes with a can't-tell rule because otherwise everyone will know within five minutes of the HOH telling someone.
Feeds weren't back as of midnight, and there won't be an HOH room, letter, etc to wait for tonight, so I'll catch up anything interesting tomorrow.

Day 73 - Friday - October 13, 2023
Feeds didn't come back til around 2.30am and it was indeed BB Comics for its first run as an HOH rather than veto. Most of them had already changed out of their unitards and capes but Matt was still in his. Jag (invisibly) won the comp with a time of 8:30. I think they were all told that was the winning time, and they'd been given their own times individually in Diary? I'm not sure. Usually there are two to three artists for BB Comics but this year's were all done by Tom Nguyen, a veteran BB Comics artist (along with various BB decor and comp art, not to mention having done art for Marvel and DC, along with a number of other shows). See all this year's comics at Links of the Day below, and remember the characters and concepts are assigned to the artists by BB production.
By this morning, Jag had told Matt, Cory, America, Bowie that he'd won and naturally they started up who-to-nominate conversations, even though this week's noms were literally all they talked about all week long. Jag made it clear he still wanted to target Blue (despite having a chance to take out a bigger player without the dreaded bloody hands). He told Bowie he needed a pawn and wondered if he could use her for that? She said naur, and proceeded to spiral a bit. Jag eventually settled on Felicia for the pawn spot. Blue, Cirie, Felicia speculated who the HOH was in various combos with each other and various others, with Cirie pretty much figuring it out, like she does, and discussing it with Felicia.
Cory planted a seed bomb by conversationally bringing up Traitors in a general chat about swimming with Matt, America, Bowie. He said other swimmers on BB were Ryan Lochte and Brendon. Matt asked who's Brendon and Cory said he was the showmance/now husband of "Cirie's friend Rachel." He went on to say Cirie and Rachel had done some shows together, like Traitors and Snake in the Grass. Matt said Lochte was also on Traitors, and Cory said Cirie won it. Cory added "don't mention it" because he "doesn't want her to think he's running around saying she won it." (Like he just did!) Matt said he remembered Cirie telling him that at some point. I don't know if America knew Cirie had won that show or not, but Bowie clearly didn't. I'm surprised Cory held on to it this long but I guess he figured it was time to point fingers at Cirie in hopes of others turning on her. Later she mentioned being afraid to drop during the comics comp because she's scared of heights, and he said something like that happened to her on Survivor, adding "wasn't that the family visit one, didn't you have your kids there?" (Jared visited her.) America, Bowie, Felicia were present for that one.
Jag did nominate Blue and Felicia, anonymously (for those two anyway). They did not swap out to the middle size table for whatever the ceremony was comprised of, so maybe they'll keep the giant one for the duration. Felicia was annoyed, saying she'd now tied Cameron with five total nominations, and she ranted to Matt how this was a wasted superpower, a big target could have been taken out but instead someone was going for non-threats like her and Blue. Jag and Matt sat down with Blue to commiserate and play innocent. Felicia told Blue "my gut says it's Jag," and Blue later asked Matt "I'm gonna ask this once: Cameron said you and Jag were gonna try to take me out. This isn't it, right?" She was right, but Matt hemmed and hawed, and said Cameron said a lot of things, most of them to turn people against each other, and he said Cameron had wanted to work with Blue. Feeds cut to Cirie, Jag, Matt in the pantry and it sounded like they told her it was Jag, which would leave only the nominees in the (semi) dark of having not been specifically told who put them up.
Felicia sat out dinner prep (Blue and Cirie cooked), and she didn't eat. She was called to Diary and Cirie, America, Cory discussed her and how she wasn't accepting this nomination well. Cirie said she was annoyed at being a pawn again and she'd wondered why Bowie couldn't be the pawn. Cory said "that's not how this works" and America said "it's not everyone gets a turn." Cirie added that Felicia's always like that on the first day but she should be okay tomorrow. Outside Bowie and Matt played pool and also commented on Felicia's mood. Recall Bowie had been upset earlier when she was asked to be a pawn, and also that Bowie and Matt are the last two who haven't hit the block. I understand chat is chat in there, and it's often more pointed than it needs to be (especially 73 days in), but it seems those who haven't hit the block maybe don't need to snipe at someone who's on it for the fifth time. But that's none of my business.
America gave Blue a peptalk and Cirie gave Felicia a peptalk. Most of them were exhausted and went to bed early. I've been told the veto comp will be played on the streets/sets outside, like Nether Gorgon, so that could be fun or interesting, with any luck.

Mecolamity
She laid low at the start, which can be good strategy, but then she stayed low throughout the middle game, which is not. She was a charter member of Professors but didn't adapt when it fell apart, and while she was well-liked by all, she didn't form strong bonds on the side like her fellow Brown Sugar Babes did. She put more effort into making her teacher job-lie convincing than she did in her BB game, but her semi-regular rants about the overall stupidity of everyone and the season made her a star for Team Fun Feeds.

Muffin Hands
Izzy could have ratted out his and Cirie's secret and didn't, but Jared mucked up a built-in advantage by continually doing and saying way too much. He hooked up with Blue and spilled his secret to her, but neglected to tell Cirie he had. His relationships with Blue and/or his (ex?) girlfriend are none of my business, but it was an ongoing and interesting side story. He got a free bonus week after he was evicted but failed to make it work for him. His and Cirie's mother-and-son moments were sweet and pure, and that's rare on any season.

HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 2
32 - Applicant - Has a girlfriend
Flutist - New York, NY
5th evicted - Day 44
Dizzy Izzy
She clocked Cirie and Jared in a minute, and she quickly went from being a Cirie fan to a devoted ally and surrogate daughter. She made no secret of it and that didn't go unnoticed. She was often manic, chaotic, and cracked, and her animated conversations and limitless facial expressions became their own side game. She later calmed down under Cirie's mentorship and they drove the first half of the game, not always to their benefit. She was a never-a-dull-moment hamster and that's always good for fun feeds.
|

Won: 1 year P+ and home theater
HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 1
37 38 - Recruit - Has a girlfriend, 3 kids
Sales/TikTokker - Gatlinburg, TN
4th evicted - Day 37
The Chill-Billy
He was a caricature of himself on the episodes but he was more genuine on feeds. His and Cameron's bromance was like some over-countrified afterschool special and when they broke up, the tinkly piano shifted to a broken banjo string twang. He said some inappropriate things, he provided baked goods, and he was a good sport about his birthday roast. He was a victim of the heavily layered and interwoven alliance mess, so this feller had to skedaddle back to hawkin' moonshine in Gatlinburg.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 1 - Veto 2 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 1
45 - Applicant - Divorced
Geriatric physician/burlesquer - Seattle, WA
3rd evicted - Day 23
Ha-Ha Hisam
He painted a target on himself by winning the first two vetos and the second HOH, and he knew that. He started out fun and lively but he got HOHitis so bad his own alliance orchestrated a blindside plan to put him up and out. His campaign pitches were painful, right? As he gave marathon speeches, right? In his soft breathy voice, right? To anyone he could corner for an hour, right? He was a superb comp host and game show emcee for one of the few group activities they did.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 0
24 - Recruit - Single
Bartender - Nashville, TN
2nd evicted - Day 16
Nashvillain
Four people were already nominated when she won the first HOH and all she had to do was remove two. She spent most of the first days repeating she wanted an alliance of eight, which she eventually pulled together, with F2, F3, F4 along the way. She had it made but then found out everyone else knew about her eight and she spent the rest of her HOH week in tears. Then she hit the block and campaigned poorly, but at least she went out fighting.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/1 - HN 0
25 - Recruit - Single
Molecular biologist - Houston, TX
1st evicted - Day 9
Curse-Sten
She was on the block when she started to pitch and double-dip, and you can't blame her for that. Being new to BB, that's what she'd seen on the shows, and most everyone else started doing the same thing right away anyway. But Kirsten became an easy scapegoat since she wasn't in their inner power circles. She would have been good feeds: she planned a scorching nominee speech, but then opted to go out classy and didn't use it.
|

Won: Nothing
HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 1
30 - Survivor applicant - Single
Illustrator - Coral Springs, FL
Ejected Day 8
Gone, forgotten
Between hamsters thinking he was a secret doctor and feedsters thinking he was a secret twin, his week was full of unintentional comedy. He added to that by not knowing the show or that the game had started without him, then he worked hard to join the game in progress, with no success. Then he dropped the n-word, and then he was gone.

GAME TWISTS
Week 1 BB Multiverse
Losers of four move-in comps went on the block, and HOH Reilly saved two.
Week 2 Nether Region
Inconsistent and vague. Individuals were sent to Nether Region for varying lengths of time, receiving 'something good or bad' and selecting the next one to go. Roster of who went and for how long is in the Extracurricular Items tally.
Week 4 Invincibility Power
Viewers voted four to secretly compete for the power, which gave the winner the option to save the Week 4 or Week 5 evictee.
Cirie, Cory, Jag, Matt competed, Matt won, and secretly used it to cancel Jag's eviction at the end of Week 4.
Week 8 Scary Week: Zombies
No HOH, noms, or veto.
Cameron, Jared were evicted on Day 51 double eviction, then sent back into the house as zombies.
They did a 3-part comp and Cameron won the option to play or pass a live challenge.
Cameron did the challenge, completed it, and was revived. Jared was evicted again.
Week 11 Comic Week
Power of Invisibility: HOH's identity will be secret, unless they chose to share. Jag won and told several.
Power of Multiplicity: 'Veto players will be seeing double'.
Details to follow when confirmed.
