>> Ryan won Part 3 and final HOH, and evicted Sheila <<

Sheila catches on

She kept working on Adam & Ryan, particularly Ryan, then settled down for a monologue with herself

She said she "finally gets it" and went on to explain the various scenarios that could play out in a few hours.. whether she just figured out how BB works and was truly talking to herself, or thinks the jury's watching or thinks we have a vote, will remain a mystery

She started trashing Ryan pretty bad, like she does, and told herself that she'd vote for Adam in the end even if he doesn't pick her tonight.. she may have earned one of the last Line of the Day awards for the season with "Ryan goes into the DR and stays there for a half hour" - ironic, since she's usually in there an hour minimum

Meet your finalists

Ryan won it by one, and since the one was about Joshuah talking himself up, maybe Adam really did throw it

Sheila walked the plank in a river of tears and the less said about that, the better.. the important thing is that she's gone, and watching-wise, we've got the best Final Two since Big Brother 1.. we'll have some fun feeds for the last days for a very refreshing change

Granted, Ryan might have lost himself $450k this way but as I've always said, it really doesn't matter who wins if you aren't a second cousin or better.. it's all about being entertained, and these guys will do that - between naps, of course

They hugged and congratulated themselves - with good reason - and went through the various alliances they'd beaten on the photo wall.. Adam gave us a couple of silent thumbs ups while Ryan was in Diary.. then they were sent outside for a bit while dinner & champagne arrived: two bottles!

Most of their dinner was withheld behind trivia, but the feedmasters let us have a few glimpses of their toast, and their congratulatory meal of steak, potatoes, salad and chocolate cake

Sure enough, the guys confirmed later that their romantic dinner was indeed staged for tv use.. and they added "that was so gay"

It all comes out

After dinner, Adam & Ryan continued to celebrate in the big way we've always expected from the finalists but never seen

They laughed and joked, they rehearsed their grand exit from the habitat for finale night again.. they counted the votes every different way, and then counted them some more.. they went through various game events and then proceeded to go through the hamsters, comparing notes and trashing those that were trashworthy, and being loud, boisterous and hysterical

Mostly they finally let out all their built-up hostility at having had to get along with both Sheila & Sharon for so long.. naturally, there was time for snacking too

They stuck together for the most part, but separated here & there.. we got a rare final days action sequence when Ryan did a spectacular belly flop.. they carried on for hours after Julie flickered off their monitor, and even as they went to their beds, they couldn't stay in them or stay quiet

BB got a little pissy with them a few times for what sounded like very minor infractions, and their begged-for pack of cigs was never delivered, but overall it was a truly satisfying final two night for them, as well as for us watching them enjoy their accomplishment so very much

Daily ratings - Special Final Two edition

Ratings are based on entertainment value, as usual

Wednesday's show earns cautious ups, as it was one of those that just has you scratching your head. More Adam/Ryan feud crap, more beating the Matt/Natalie dead horse crap, yet another random WTF flash of the BEEBIES, and more staged juror scenes, yet we never saw Natalie's staged entrance to the jury house. The narrator said Sheila 'cracked under the pressure' and Julie said she was 'reduced to tears' as if either was news, and they slapped a stoopid name onto what was a new and pretty cool comp for a change: whoever heard of a 'guinea pig wheel'? (Seriously, Google 'hamster wheel' versus 'guinea pig wheel'.)

Overall, it was really an episode of that well-known comedic tragedy, 'The Sheila Kennedy Show'. In one short hour, our heroine was taunted while riding a waterfall of 'ice cubes', reminded of yet another horrific tale when she almost 'drownded', reminded of her fear of roller coasters and 'things in motion', forced to sit out the only event that could save her, and finally humiliated, crushed and apparently stunned by the fact that despite ranting for 2½ months about how deserving she was, she had indeed not earned her way to the finals. Even Julie was surprised at the hysteria & overactive waterworks and had to try consoling instead of putting her usual hardline journalist skills to use. All that, and Sheila didn't even seize the primetime tv opp to hype her (possibly) upcoming book. Aside from the very satisfying conclusion, the best part of this show was Ryan & Adam chasing each other around their Q&A partition, trying to find each other for a celebratory elbow bump.

Won: Motorcycle
Paired with Sheila

WON PART 2
Unprecedented double double ups to both of them for celebrating what they've got every right to celebrate, and for doing it in such a boisterous and giddy way. They got in some real zingers about their former roomies, and none of them were unwarranted. Everything they said has been said on all 1,000 Big Brother sites, posted on every BB message board and ranted in every BB chat room. It was the kind of stuff we never hear from them though: the kind of stuff they usually save for private phone convos, and it was as delicious to hear it as it was to share their pure joy at being the winners. Am I being hypocritical for enjoying this trashfest while I've blasted others for it? Maybe.. but whether trashtalk is true or false, I prefer mine without poisonous venom and hatred. These guys just rolled with it, as usual, and laughed.

Won: $10,000, movie premiere,
Beverly Hills shopping spree
Jen's boyfriend / Paired with Allison

WON PART 1 & 3 = WON FINAL HOH
See Adam, with the additional caution that he might not be as prepared for the jury's questions as Adam; in fact, he might get blindsided as finalists often do, particularly over the deals he made & reaffirmed on March 7 and later broke. But no matter: he says he'll be ok if he comes in second to Adam, and he's got some nice consolation prizes already. He was a bit calmer than Adam tonight but just as funny, and he one-upped Sheila once again tonight, topping her earlier Line of the Day contender with 'I liked James at first.. me & James was cool at first, we looked out for each other, and something went terribly wrong.'

Paired with Adam

She had loads of potential but her rants, wild mood swings, repetitive loops, and entitlement speeches made even her fans crazy, and when she launched her Hate Natalie campaign she turned downright ugly. She was all contradictions about her BB knowledge, and I suspect her strategy (if any) was to brainwash her victims by talking them to death. She bashed Adam but worked with him throughout. And know this: she's 45 46 frikkin years old, she's a single frikkin mom, she's writing a frikkin book, and yew know whut? She won't be missed very much. Click for adult material from her heyday.

Won: Movie premiere, Beverly Hills shopping spree. Wasted: Slop pass.
Evicted 1st - revived a few days later
Paired with Jacob (her ex)  Joshuah

She may have driven things early, but then she drove us to distraction fingering her blue blankie thingy. The perpetual pawn stood back whenever buddies Joshuah, James, Chelsia or Sheila let loose, but she cackled about their nasty plans & deeds. Mostly she laid around, and her everlasting vindictive Jacob stories, her screechy laugh, and her calls to the BEEBIES won't be missed. Strategy? Maybe.. but watching-wise, she was a dud. See Attw x's tribute :)

Paired with Matt

Party girl deluxe who did things no hamster ever has or probably ever will again. She stripped, suds'd, slurped and grinded her way into many feedsters' hearts (and a few other places), all the while being cheery, fun, and unbelievably candid. Later she toned it down and talked & preached too much, but she's easily the Star of the Season and Most Photogenic. She'll also be remembered for kooky kneesocks, nail polish paintings, and homemade dairy products.

Revived a minute after his first eviction
Paired with Chelsia

Offline scandals kept popping up but CBS kept hyping him - damage control maybe. He pushed Chelsia til she did what she promised Daddy she wouldn't, but most of that was blocked. He cried when nobody liked him, he slept a lot, got nekkid a lot, masturbated a lot, and topped Cowboy's hat trick with his tuck. Like another James before him, he played all sides too soon and too eagerly, and it came back to bite him. Click for his adult material.

Paired with Neil  Sharon

He put on costumes and breakfast shows, and did hot tub monologues, praying & sobbing aloud. He exploded viciously on Amanda & Allison, and about Sheila & Natalie (usually focused on genitalia), but he left the guys alone except James, who he c-blocked & puppy-dogged. He had lots of schemes to save himself but used them up early, and his huge drama potential fell short when we needed it most. He had the only Diary restraining order I know of: 5 feet away from Allison.

Won: $21,000 Vegas trip
Paired with James

Sometimes a spitfire who gave us good fights & fireworks but she laid around with James way too much, which was her undoing and ours. She'll be remembered for feedmasters' attempts to protect her, strip/lap dance/makeout night, having sex, raunchy stories, a colorful vocabulary, getting smashed, smashing everyone's Easter eggs, and for going out with the nasty speeches they all threaten but rarely follow through with.

Paired with Natalie

America's Playa came on strong, prepared to showmance his way through all the girls and into the money. That didn't work out but he was fun to have around and he usually kept things light amid the chaos. He brought BJs to the feeds and made Bibles fun in there. Despite the fact that he's a pig, he has some good qualities too and he kinda grows on you.

Paired with Ryan

She called it manipulation - I call it emotional blackmail with a lot of 'poor me' thrown in. One of the most delusional hamsters ever (and that's saying something), she's the poster girl for Can Dish It Out But Can't Take It. She did give us some confrontation doozies and fireworks deluxe but trust her, like one million percent, she does not care.

Revive-a-Hamster winner & loser
Paired with Amanda

He started out looking like he was on board with Matt's showmance plan and CBS picked up that angle, but then we got to know a bright, charismatic, and goofy guy who had everything going for him in there except his partner. His diplomacy was remarkable and he might have gone the distance, but he went out as another casualty of 'Til Death Do You Part'.

Paired with Alex

She began with hysterics & drama and was at the center of the biggest BB fight ever, but she went out with more of a whimper than a bang. Her moods dropped as fast as her blood sugar but to her credit, she rebounded just as fast. She & Allison had dual 911 events, but Amanda's collapse brought unexpected (and uniformed) guests into the habitat and onto the air.

Won: $5,000
Ryan's girlfriend / Paired with Parker

She & Ryan could have gone far if she hadn't opened her mouth in the first days. She made loads of enemies in a short time and took Parker down with her. She'll be remembered for super-quickie sex in the bathroom and a rash on her backside.. hmm, coincidence?

Won: $5,000
Paired with Jen

He was good watching at first til he gave up and went on strike. He bounced back a bit at the end but his doom came early when partner Jen couldn't keep her trap shut about her & Ryan. She had to go, and he was just the innocent bystander casualty. 'I'm sick of people's dumbass assinine ass comments' might be Line of the Season.

Paired with Joshuah

He left suddenly and mysteriously but wrote on his MySpace that he didn't leave for health reasons, and that he won't be back. He seems like a good guy and I wish him well.. he's probably lucky he got out when he did, unscathed.

Paired with Sharon (his ex)

Gone before the feeds kicked in: he didn't even make an appearance. All that potential for rehashing their breakup and/or a jealous rage up in smoke. To make it worse, he & Sharon didn't even get an exit interview in Julie's boudoir - how rude!

This site isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It also isn't necessarily about who should win, who will win, who I'd be friends with or who is cute. It's about watching hamsters: which ones are doing what and why, which are fun and which are dull. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior.
