Thursday's eviction show had its lowest ratings yet, but it still won the hour with a 1.9 rating and 7 share, ahead of a 'Bones' rerun on FOX with 1.4/5, and a JK Rowling special on ABC and a '30 Rock' rerun on NBC, both with 1.1/4.
Veto comp on Saturday
CBS shows are Sundays at 8, Tuesdays at 9, and live evictions Thursdays at 8

FAQ
There are four teams: Populars, Jocks, Brainiacs, and Offbeats.
Teamies of the HOH cannot be nominated, but they can compete in the next week's HOH comp.
Comps determine living conditions for the teams. The losers live in the Jail room with lights always on, cold water showers, and slop.
Viewer votes will determine one additional food item the sloppers can have.
The habitat has 52 cameras and 80 mics.

The day after
Chima probably has no idea what a superstar she became last night in the insulated world of the Big Brother interwebs, but today it's back to business as usual and it starts all over againThe Food/Haves/Have-nots comp with BB10 Dan Gheesling lasted for hours and when it was over, Jordan & Laura were crying, Jeff was comforting them (Jordan) and apologizing for screwing something up, Chima was screaming about beds, and Ronnie was plotting his noms, which turned out to be Jeff & Laura
What should have been a fun-filled evening was a total fail, since the two who needed booze the most to give us a good time - Laura & Jordan - can't have it

So BB10 winner and Diary favorite Dan Gheesling showed up to play food comp with them or something, and along the way he chatted with them like Evel Dick did another time. Among other things, Laura picked up a warning from Dan about editing and Jeff got some personal encouragement. When I heard they'd revived the 'no outside contact' tagline in the promos this season I was encouraged about having a good back-to-basics season, but that's fallen by the wayside just like '12 strangers' did when Jessie got shoved in there. Not only did he make a 13th, but he isn't even strangers with Casey. On top of that, they wouldn't let Ronnie get his mohawk tonight 'for continuity reasons' - huh? Noms are done. I guess they're pre-planning to edit in some future fight footage to explain them. All that's worthy of a negative rating, but Julie grilling Braden like a $10 steak on the extended 'Early Show' interview brings them up to neutral. |

Team OffbeatHe had a rare meeting with Jessie today and they confirmed again they're working together, and they'll pretend to have some tension between them, but luckily they don't have a secret handshake. Casey acts all casual and hip-hoppy but he's also getting a know-it-all tone fairly often that'll wear on them soon. He's as cagey as the rest of them - he's just sly about it, and maybe a little oily. |
  
Team BrainI can't listen to her for long but she keeps earning ups for explosions out of the blue. Today's had something to do with bed switching arrangements. I also like how she's got Laura's number: 'All you have to do is say her tits are too big right before the competition - it'll throw her off'. |
 
Team JockNOMINATED I gather he volunteered to be nominated so he could compete in veto (read: not be sent out the backdoor) and while that would ordinarily be BB suicide, I have a feeling he'll stick around. He didn't do much else of note. |

Team PopularShe was upset about becoming a Have-not but rallied a bit with Jeff's encouragement, and a bit more when her teamie Laura was nominated and she wasn't. She's about the only fun one in there but she's starting to get dragged down by the drips surrounding her. If Jordan can't have booze, nobody gets to have fun. If things follow the usual pattern, she'll win the veto and be torn who to use it on. |

Team PopularNOMINATED She didn't like having to go on slop and she didn't like getting nominated, but she was mostly upset because she had to wear a beard in the comp. She turned her nom into an everlasting opportunity to tell everyone again how smart she is. Remember BB9 Allison, Ryan's 'soulmate'? Give her Shelley Duvall's voice and you've got Laura in a nutshell. She keeps trying to get huffy & hissy, but we're cheated out of another meltdown because she can't have booze. |
 
Team OffbeatAfter last week when you couldn't escape her if you wanted to, today she was AWOL most of the day again but turned up tonight in HOH crying again because Russell yelled at her. Those tears were as phony as most of hers, and I don't know if Ronnie bought it or not. |
 
Team BrainI barely saw her today and when I did, she was on the receiving end of yelling, strategizing, or griping. And she didn't do anything about any of it. |

Team BrainHEAD OF HOUSEHOLD Yes, he's got a raging case of HOH-itis, but his noms were anything but stupid. The whole point of knocking one team down to two hamsters was to make them easy to get rid of. He promised Jordan safety but he knows we all must be rid of Laura soon, and I think it will come to pass. He's setting himself up well for several weeks down the road, but he doesn't know about the Jessie/Casey situation so it could backfire on him. |
 
Team JockHe drank a few beers tonight and had some sporadic funny moments, a few game chats, and a sudden loud shouting explosion that woke up an otherwise sleepy night. He's not the best hamster we've had by a long shot but in this group, he's probably a keeper. Last minute ups for being the first one to tell Ronnie to STFU with the ongoing game talk for a minute. I called today's noms (though perhaps not here) and included Russell as an alternate, and it looks like that may come to pass. |
    Team Popular His nekkid pics got out before the premiere, he said Julie's a ho, and he started a race riot in there - but his target Kevin wasn't offended by the words as much as that they hadn't been buddies. The habitat went nuts waffling about his eviction vote (vs Chima) but he was barely involved, although he did provide the fodder for her most shocking nominee speech ever. Despite all that, Braden turned out to be a funny hamster and a great third to the Jeff & Jordan comedy team. |
