Thursday's eviction show had its lowest ratings yet, but it still won the hour with a 1.9 rating and 7 share, ahead of a 'Bones' rerun on FOX with 1.4/5, and a JK Rowling special on ABC and a '30 Rock' rerun on NBC, both with 1.1/4.
Veto meeting is Monday
CBS shows are Sundays at 8, Tuesdays at 9, and live evictions Thursdays at 8

FAQ
There are four teams: Populars, Jocks, Brainiacs, and Offbeats.
Teamies of the HOH cannot be nominated, but they can compete in the next week's HOH comp.
Comps determine living conditions for the teams. The losers live in the Jail room with lights always on, cold water showers, and slop.
Viewer votes will determine one additional food item the sloppers can have.
The habitat has 52 cameras and 80 mics.

The one true alliance
Once again, the Under Pillows Alliance is strongApparently something was mentioned about Laura being a bikini model - excuse me, "promotions" - she's been cryptic about her work to them, and she made a comment that "Casey knows how it works, he's in the same - he hosts a lot of the stuff that I do".. it could be innocent, or it could be something
She also said "I know one thing about this game I won't tell anybody until I'm leaving - that's probably why I was put in this house - if it's not to help me, maybe it's to help.." (she trails off), and later "There's only one thing about myself I'm hiding, it's stupid & minor.. I'm just hiding it because a person in this house I think would not be happy about it - not mad about it, but I'll tell everybody when I'm leaving".. since it's Laura, you have to filter out her need to feel self-important, so there's no telling what it's all about, if anything.. apparently she also told Jeff & Jordan that she'd made up the "thing she knows" for Ronnie's benefit
Another interesting tidbit from that hour came from supposed uberfan Ronnie: "I started watching in 8, a little bit of 9 - last season was the first one I REALLY watched".. of course with Ronnie, you have to filter out the fact that he always lies
Jeff won the veto in a very long feeds blackout.. a lot of cash in coins was involved (with Coinstar product placement), a $5,000 prize, and a season slop pass won by Natalie (that apparently doesn't include getting out of Jail)
Sunday didn't bring a lot other than more pointless waffling, and Jordan (of all people) calling out Ronnie on all his double dipping - that was fun

There's nothing new about a four hour feeds blackout on a weekend - the only time many feedsters can watch - but it's as wrong as ever. Now that the Jessie/Casey connection has been outted, they're embracing it by letting their secret convos leak onto the feeds unchecked. I keep going back to the commercials that promised us '12 strangers' and wondering how we got here. The formula casting was as transparent as ever, even blatant this time with the high school theme, and now we're left with all formula and no cast. |

She got Braden out by escalating the Race Riot and saying he tried to molest her, and now she's gunning for Russell by insinuating he's a homicidal maniac. Lock up the plastic knife! |
 
Team BrainHer evening gowns were peculiar and her self-consciousness is uncomfortable to watch, but cleaning the bathroom on a Saturday night, especially after Chima bitched at her about it, is most definitely not good tv. |

Team BrainHEAD OF HOUSEHOLD His HOH-itis has become deadly and while I still think he knows what he's doing, he's going about it in such an annoying way that it's laughable. And ignorable. Nobody needed to hear how he had quarters stuck in his butt without knowing it, let alone hear about it six times. He finally brought out his giant bubble maker at 1am but alas, no giant bubbles were made. (The right brand of soap is crucial.) Team JockSuddenly he's Public Enemy #1 and everyone's making a big to-do about it. Why? He was the replacement choice (and target) all along, and he's an easy nom: 'You're too good at comps, and you have too many F2 deals'. But no, we must harangue for hours & hours & hours, backslide, harangue some more, backslide some more, say he's dangerous, say he's mean, and harangue some more. I'm almost hoping Russell just kicks all their hamster butts over the fence. |
    Team Popular His nekkid pics got out before the premiere, he said Julie's a ho, and he started a race riot in there - but his target Kevin wasn't offended by the words as much as that they hadn't been buddies. The habitat went nuts waffling about his eviction vote (vs Chima) but he was barely involved, although he did provide the fodder for her most shocking nominee speech ever. Despite all that, Braden turned out to be a funny hamster and a great third to the Jeff & Jordan comedy team. |
