Sunday's show won its timeslot with a 1.9 rating and 7 share (helped by a '60 Minutes' lead-in in some areas), ahead of 'The Simpsons' rerun on FOX with 1.8/6, 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' rerun on ABC with 1.1/4, and 'Merlin' on NBC with 0.9/3
CBS shows are Sundays at 8, Tuesdays at 9, and live evictions Thursdays at 8

Teamies of the HOH cannot be nominated.
Comps determine living conditions for the teams. The losers live in the Jail room with lights always on, cold water showers, and slop.
Viewer votes will determine one additional food item the sloppers can have.

..and Michele's not going anywhereAlong with the return of the heels, she wore another flashy number for the evening, this time in turquoise - I don't think we've ever had a female hamster dress up in her Thursday best so often before.. to add insult to injury, she helped prep family dinner but she's on slop and couldn't eat it
Russell Lovemuscle used the veto on Lydia, and Braden was nominated in her place per the not-secret secret plan, but there hasn't been any fallout from it - yet.. psst-pssting and vote counting continues around the habitat, but they weren't very good at coming up with group events, fun or fights today
Breaking news Casey & Jessie know each other - or have at least met - when Jessie attended? judged? bikini contest(s) hosted by Casey aka Mingle Mixx.. I've heard Jessie mention bikini judging on the feeds but I muted him.. it would explain why Casey's been so mellow and unworried this week, and like Dick & Daniele Donato in the early weeks of BB8, you rarely see Jessie & Casey together: smokescreen

The show wasn't bad, the comp was cute (although viewers who don't yet know who's who were probably confused further with all the paint and blacklight), and it's nice to have a new soundtrack with fresh goony music assignments and theme song. The keybox looked pretty silly being what - a third empty or was it half? for the first noms of the season when it should be full, but that's what twists do to a show like this. They overcompensated for the lack of Kevin on the feeds and lack of personality in Laura by highlighting both of them a lot, and CBS-only viewers are probably as confused as feedsters as to why Lydia & Chima really were nominated - let alone why Braden goes up on the next show.But all that's neither here nor there: rare double downs are for trying to pull yet another fast one on us all by putting their favorite meathead Jessie back in there in the first place, and especially when he and Casey had already met outside the habitat. I call shenanigans on CBS and suggest they politely excuse Jessie from his contract obligations ASAP. Instead, if he sticks, I predict that he & Casey go all the way to the end.. but nobody will be watching. |

Team PopularNOMINATED He took his nomination as gracefully as anyone since BB5 Marvin, to the point that it was a non-event. He did some quiet campaigning here & there but mostly he just hung out being the more or less likeable doofus he is, and he provided some first rate comedy for us overnighters. Lydia's still going around telling everyone he's a masher or something, so he'll probably walk the plank to Julie's boudoir with that hanging over him just like BB6 Michael did. |
 
Team OffbeatSee Producers rant and sidebar Links of the Day. For those who think this is a bunch of hooey and maybe they both just happened to be at the same place at the same time, bear in mind he's a big BB fan and would certainly have recognized a shirtless Jessie dancing in his chair a couple feet away. At the very least, the extrovert MC would have said hello. And by the way Casey, the skit is 'a van down by the river'- not a Beetle. |
 
Team BrainNOMINATED I like how she just shows up, disappears, doesn't make a stink, and isn't having panic attacks or hissy fits about being the one who wasn't veto'd off the block. Maybe she thinks she's safe, or maybe she's just ready to get out while she still can. Her hair is fascinating and her makeup routines are marathons. |
 
Team JockI'm warming up to him more each day. He's both funny and volatile, and that's all any hamster needs to be. I don't think his gay stuff is bashing so much as just ignorance, but it's ugly just the same and he needs to ease up on it. His whole team hates him and vice versa, along with a few others (Lydia), but he just cusses and shrugs if off. He also needs to step up the showmance with Jordan and get things moving along there: they have the potential of being the first fun showmance we've had on Big Brother in a long time.. maybe ever. |
 
Team JockHEAD OF HOUSEHOLD He's on ignore again, just like last year. And now he's a scammer as well, possibly in cahoots with CBS. They clearly wanted last year to be The Jessie Show but that was a huge fail, so why are they trying it again? And let's not forget he was recruited rather than applying for BB10 in the first place. |
 
Team PopularShe's fresh and brings a sparkle to the feeds when she's not sleeping, which she does a lot. She also eats a lot and may be our designated weight gainer - there's always one. She's got something about her that's just likeable, even when she says things like 'What are egg whites?' |
  
Team OffbeatHe showed up a bit more today, making a few appearances on the feeds in quick breaks from The Everlasting Jessie Show, and he seems like a pretty genuine person despite all warnings to the contrary. He took what seemed like hours to groom & shave, and he helped make dinner. That's all I got. |
 
Team PopularShe talked about how she won't do nekkid pics, but she does them lying around in lingerie looking like she's about to masturbate: I guess it's a fine line, but I don't see much difference. She's a miseryguts in there whose eyelashes could scrape ice, and then she goes and puts on more mascara. |
 
Team OffbeatSAVED BY VETO She toned her act way down after she came off the block, like they do, but she's stepping up the Braden bashing and will probably escalate that until Thursday night just to make sure he gets gone. I'm not buying her 'he tried to kiss me' story anyway - maybe it happened, but I haven't heard about it from anyone but her. She's playing the hell out of this game and if the story's not true, she's willing to use some very low tactics to stay in it. |
 
Team BrainThe femme fatale routine isn't working any better for her than it is for Laura, but Michele's working at it a lot harder and there's something uncomfortable about watching it. She keeps coming out in short slinky dresses and heels and while she looks good in them, she just doesn't look right. She needs to know her role and go back to street clothes and brains. |
 
Team JockI didn't pay much attention to her today, other than she looked a lot more natural (and thus a lot better) playing pool in shorts & tanktop than Michele did in red carpet wear. I keep being surprised by how long her hair is. |
 
Team BrainOkay, he's safe now despite his ridiculous running around behind absolutely everyone's back (and they're all on to that - how come he didn't get nominated today?) But he didn't, so I can still hang on to my little dream that he's counting on the notoriously short memories that hamsters have and he can put all this behind him. However, my little bubble threatened to burst when I caught him teaching the other kids how to study, including explanations about how the final HOH comp works! Hey Ronnie, you should let the BB-ignorant stay ignorant if you want to find your bliss and win this thing. |
 
Team JockUSED VETO He had some funny moments today including how he feels tempted to flex whenever he hears a camera zooming in: 'I always have a 6-pack when I'm talking to somebody!' Maybe you had to be there, but it was funny at the time. He wanted to play '4-4-40' tonight (drink a gallon of water in 4 minutes and go 40 seconds without puking) saying how fun it would be with all of them puking, but he either forgot or BB put the kaibosh on that since people have died playing it. He also shaved his head - that stuff would make for tricky sequence editing by CBS if they cared, but they usually don't bother - and then donned a stylish fedora to cover up his shiny new head. |
