The day after

Everyone seems to have survived last night, more or less

On today's Real/SuperPass page it says "The Power Couple gets nominated" with a pic of Matt & Natalie - what's that about? Jen & Parker were the only Power Couple, and they're both gone.. well, I guess those that get paid to follow this stuff must know what they're talking about.. <shrug>

Amanda was feeling poorly again and spent some time in Diary again.. Allison's been retelling her ambulance story and keeps comparing the time she spent in the ER to the time Amanda did.. she's also trashing Sheila and Amanda a lot, Sharon some, and retro-trashing Jen

James has been spreading the word he learned last night, that Alex is likely a lot better off financially than he lets on.. he also suggested to Chelsia, Joshuah & Sharon that they throw away all condiments to ensure the sloppers suffer more - I'm not sure if he meant now or for the next slop rotation

Whispering, gossiping, scheming, trashing, and plotting are well underway, but it's still a long time til they vote

This group doesn't seem to be very hammock-y but Ryan & Allison had a planning convo in it today.. she held her collar up the whole time - I don't know why, maybe to prevent lipreading by the others? Ryan's mouth was visible.. it seemed to me she was just calling more attention to their secret squirrel stuff, much like CBS's blurs of James' arm tat has everyone abuzz about it today

James made a reference about "the craziness of last night" to Matt & Ryan.. they all said the girls seemed a little different today, except Natalie

Somebody found a supply of flavored dental dams in the condom drawer

Amanda said BB delivered them after her STD lecture last night.. someone else said they'd always been there

Most of them tried one on for size.. (if you're not sure what they are, Google is your friend)

Matt had the most fun with them, covering ground he missed last night with Allison & Sheila

Sharon & Alex revisited a bit of whatever their thing last night was, with a massage

Allison started explaining chess to Amanda and the feeds cut to somewhere else, which was a shame - she's great fun when she explains stuff.. when we returned to them, Amanda was upset at having to do a turn redo: Allison hadn't noticed her king was in check

Runner-up Line of the Day came from student Amanda but I'm giving her & teacher Allison equal credit for "My queen's in check.. wouldn't I rather lose my king than my queen?"

I'm not sure what's going on here between Allison & Ryan and am just posting it for the record, should a record be required later

Joshuah, Alex & Sharon set up a bowling alley in the hallway from the kitchen to bathroom, with cans and peanuts for pins.. it was a good time

On this day-after-Oscars fashion review day, I'd be remiss if I didn't point out Amanda's two stunning ensembles of the day.. Joshuah was the get-around activity guy tonight, joining Amanda & Natalie for arts and crafts in the gym/spa.. they used their favorite (and only) medium again, nail polish

Later Natalie, Amanda, Allison & Sheila were discussing/arguing breastfeeding after boob jobs.. out of the blue (again) Natalie shocked them all - and us - saying she could "squirt milk right now".. she whipped out a boobie and squirted across the room, several times, saying she'd been able to do it since an abortion three or four years ago.. Sheila made the understatement of the season: "That can't be normal" and Natalie had chalked up another one for the sidebar tally

Up til then, Amanda had been getting kinda frisky again, doing minor lap dancey moves and the like, being loud, et cetera.. before & after milk pics above show her drastic change in mood.. she'll never be able to top Natalie in the attention-getting department

It's disconcerting when the feedmasters flash onto something like this for a split second, interrupting whatever feed you're watching and then flashing back as if nothing had happened

My rant yesterday was pretty much reaffirmed with Sunday's show. The pointless lesbian storyline lingers on as do the usual gratuitous boobage & butt shots and bikini comps, complete with team names Seduction and Devotion this time - gag. Why don't they just run a wet T-shirt contest or bikini fashion show three times a week? I think they ran a little blurb about the habitat being biodegradable this year or something, but it's too late for them to go PC now. But while they've definitely aired controversial stuff from the others, they did cut the scene short before James slipped out the n-word to Ryan & Adam, so maybe they are learning. The trauma that is slop is beyond old, but you have to wonder why Amanda didn't say something about hypoglycemia while griping about slop in Diary? Maybe they'll leave the 911 calls out of the CBS version: we'll find out Tuesday. Alex & Joshuah are both showing great Diary potential and I hope we get more of them in there. They didn't confirm the day numbers (which is highly unusual), and Neil's disappeared from the opening credits.
Paired with Sheila I noticed his 'Spring Break Is For Lovers' T-shirt last night as it seemed peculiar on somebody his age, so I was surprised to see him still wearing it today. All day, and into the night. I know they don't have use of the washing machine but that's still a bit dicey.. I don't want to know if he slept in it too. Add to that a strategy suggestion he gave to either James or Matt: 'You gotta suck on her milk bags, dude' and that about sums it up for Adam today. I think he's what a dirty old man is like before getting old, and it isn't pretty.	NOMINATED Paired with Amanda This guy gets better every day. Today he went from nervousing with Matt about the vote to entertaining bathroom bowling while flirting with Sharon, to helping Amanda figure out her blood sugar tester, all the while talking about Amanda having a fat ass (with occasional dump truck references). He's a definite keeper.
Paired with Ryan She's getting real cocky again and it's fun to watch her run around telling everyone how observant she is while continually replaying all the little personal wrongs she's suffered in there, plus talking about how she's going to play this 'card' and that 'card' - all of it's in an 'I'll show 'em all' tone. Once again she wins Line of the Day award with 'I don't hold grudges.. but I remember.' She's planning on getting acting, hosting, and/or rehab running gigs out of this which is good - she doesn't have a very bright future teaching chess.	NOMINATED Paired with Alex I have no idea why she was dressed up like a '70s porn star for most of the day and I was almost relieved when she changed to her white polyester Britney getup for no apparent reason. I can't get enough of watching her self-esteem zoom up & down - I know, that's probably kinda mean, but she goes from 'I'm all that' to 'Nobody likes me' and back again in microseconds. I've never seen anything like it.
Co-HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD Paired with James She & James hole up in the HOH room entirely too much. After her coming out party last night it was odd to see her back to subdued, young Chelsia again but she had a great line today when talking about Amanda's hypoglycemia/slop situation: 'You can't live on coffee.' I beg to differ.	Co-HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD Paired with Chelsia See Chelsia re hibernating upstairs.. it's not a good thing. I'm still stunned by his overnight confessions - not so much the content, but that he blurted so much out to be recorded for posterity. My video of him talking about hustling insurance and forging signatures of 'dumb' old people got almost as many views as those of the nekkid festivities (hi, welcome and shout-outs to visiting State Farm employees!) Oddly, not as many views for the one about him being an ecstasy dealer to teens.
Paired with Neil Sharon He's getting to be quite a citizen and joined in for bowling as well as arts & crafts, and in between he sat for a nail polish portrait. He brought good convo during all this and cracked some funnies, and at one point shared a holiday story: 'Christmas 2000 was nothing, it was a bunch of tears and a bunch of crying.. but it was fun.'	NOMINATED Paired with Natalie He gave up almost as much info overnight as James but he wasn't nearly as self-incriminating about it. He seems to be stressing about votes but still had a good time with the dental dams. He started in on Natalie for a bit about last night's exposure but c'mon, he was the one feeding her beers and urging her on at the beginning. We all knew which direction it was going to go: why didn't he?
NOMINATED Paired with Matt She was cute when working up her 'Farrah Fawcett hair' and she didn't counter Matt's bitching about her nekkid act with why wouldn't he kiss her (though that could still come). Ever the shocking one, she practically topped four hours of stripping & topless tonguing last night with one minute of spontaneous lactation tonight.	Jen's boyfriend/Paired with Allison I'm back to he seems like a good guy who should probably get out of there while the getting's good.
Paired with Jacob (her ex) Joshuah She hung out with Alex some more including an up-pants massage but I didn't see them go farther than that. Her sudden coming out yesterday seems to have moved her from non-houseguest in most of their eyes to major threat. We knew she was gaming hard 24/7 but they didn't seem to til she reminded them all she was there by makking on them all plus her extended makk with Alex. Both Matt & Allison have mentioned her getting around skills and they're both suspicious and ready to boot her & Joshuah the first chance they get.	Paired with Adam She joined in Matt's fun with the dental dams and had a great time for a minute or two, but she doesn't look very strong game-wise and being paired with Adam doesn't help. They're usually the ones they all refer to as not knowing anything, although Sheila often says the same about everyone else. Her brilliant 'That can't be normal!' reaction to Natalie's dairy moment was followed up with a sure bet, that it'll top the best-of-reality reels for years to come.
Won: $5k Ryan's girlfriend/Paired with Parker She & Ryan could have gone far if she hadn't opened her mouth in the first days. She made loads of enemies in a short time and took Parker down with her. She'll be remembered for super-quickie sex in the bathroom and a rash on her backside.. hmm, coincidence?	Won: $5k Paired with Jen He was good watching at first til he gave up and went on strike. He rebounded a bit at the end but his doom came early when partner Jen couldn't keep her trap shut about her & Ryan. She had to go, and he was just the innocent bystander casualty. 'I'm sick of people's dumbass assinine ass comments' might be Line of the Season.
Paired with Joshuah He left suddenly and mysteriously but wrote on his MySpace that he didn't leave for health reasons and that he won't be back. He seems like a good guy and I wish him well.. he's probably lucky he got out when he did, unscathed.	Paired with Sharon (his ex) Gone before the feeds kicked in: he didn't even make an appearance. All that potential for rehashing their breakup and/or a jealous rage up in smoke. To make it worse, he & Sharon didn't even get an exit interview in Julie's boudoir - how rude!
