Ivette: Yea that was my ultimate goal coming in
Janelle: You need to think about it, it's a big decision coming tomorrow
Janelle: I'm making my decision, I'm going to pick you, I promise you that.. but if you do beat me tomorrow I know that you're going to have to pick Maggie and that's second place probably, not first
Janelle: You'd lose against her, you know you would
Janelle: If you came here for your family you should really put that first, above everything else
Ivette: I'm in such a bind, I really am
Ivette: I wish I could have played the game the way you did, to be honest
Janelle: Why??
Ivette: The way you've played the game should have won you the money, just the way you've gotten out of binds.. give her the damn money
Janelle: I only have two votes on the jury, Howie & Rachel
Ivette: You know you can beat me out there, I get way too worked up
Janelle: Doesn't matter, I'm still going to pick you
Ivette: I came in to this game too emotional, made it too personal
Janelle: At this point you have to choose, do you want the money or do you want a friend? And Maggie's going to be your friend outside of this, they're all going to be your friends and they're all going to vote for you
Janelle: There always comes a choice at this point in the game.. just like last year when Drew had to get rid of Diane - he knew he couldn't win against her.. he still got her vote
Janelle: I just want to get to the final two, I know I can't win against you
Ivette: I truly want to thank you for the offer.. but I can't throw it..
Janelle: I'm not asking you to throw it
Ivette: I truly think you should win over both me & Maggie.. I can't thank you enough

Ivette: Just saying if I win tomorrow then I don't get the money
Ivette: She knows she's playing for second

Ivette: She told me if I picked her you guys would never forgive me but that you'd still be my friends after anyway
Janelle comes out and Ivette goes in - this will be a good Ivette Diary or farewell due to timing, hope we get to see it - Janelle & Maggie feed the fish and don't say much.. Ivette comes out and they're told to look in the pantry - cards! and wine!! Maggie tells Janelle to be thinking of animals.. Janelle asks "Why?" Maggie says "For Animal Charades later".. Janelle goes right into one
Maggie & Janelle have wine, Ivette doesn't.. they sit down to play cards.. Janelle teaches them Spades.. the subtext is again thick with symbolism.. Ivette has trouble catching on.. Janelle gets a bit sippy fast and rolls over - Maggie rolls her eyes
Ivette (to Janelle): I think they listened to you.. they restocked the storage room
Janelle: Let's just keep score in our heads.. I mean, we're not retarded

Maggie (to Ivette): So if you ever see her play a club now, you'll know she cheated
Maggie: They don't play this in casinos do they?
Janelle: They play it in jail
Maggie: So now me & Janelle's goal is to keep you from getting it

Maggie: Why do you have to cheat to get ahead? To me that's just disgusting

Maggie: I can't wait to see you kick her ass

Ivette: I think she fucks with us
Maggie: Finally your time to be victor.. I've been waiting for this since week 2
Maggie: Then I can vote her out in the yard.. to nothing
Ivette: There is nothing anyone can do in this game if they told me.. I'm not saying she told me, but if anyone told me 'you do this, you guarantee yourself this money' but I won't do that if I break my word
Maggie says she wants to go to bed.. Janelle & Ivette decide to play more chess - Maggie stays and plays solitaire til they're finished.. Maggie & Ivette go out to camelia-cocoon in the hammock again and rehash again.. they wonder how many quarters there were in all and they include the four that Maggie & April found in HOH.. Janelle joins them after another shower.. back inside Ivette massages Maggie's calves
It speaks volumes that Maggie equates Janelle's supposed cheating at a card game to cheating in the bigger game, but her secret quarters are fine.. she & April weren't even going to tell Ivette about them at first (I don't know Speed and don't know if Janelle cheated or not - video of the game is below)
Eventually they all stop dogging each other and end up inside, chatting together into the night about pregnancy, abortion, and their favorite Christmases as kids.. it's nice

 TV10 has forsaken us for the duration Hamsterwatch.com has risen from the dead, though a bit sluggish off & on still - thanks for your patience and get well cards Time's running out for producers and/or CBS to step up and donate the unwon $700k to hurricane relief Remaining shows air Friday 9/16 and Tuesday 9/20 Final part of HOH comp will be live on Friday's show followed by live eviction. Speculation is rampant who will evict whom but the why's are wanting. I'm in wait 'n see mode, as usual. | ||||||
   Live show on a Tuesday wasn't much different than its usual Thursday spot: they've just become too repetitive & dull to get worked up over beyond the actual eviction and HOH comp results. There were a few oddities tonight though: why weren't April & Ivette in their nominee chairs when Julie first peeked in? Why did Julie look into the wrong camera when announcing the HOH comp as the Final Three were heading toward the backyard? And why can't Julie ask some real questions on their way out instead of the same old crap that we can all predict the answers to? I would have liked to hear April's response to 'How did you get away with cozying up to whichever side was HOH each week?' or 'How did you & Jenn get away with convincing everyone it wasn't your idea to evict Ivette that week?' They're still too kind to Maggie but at least they showed her sitting there doing & saying nothing while Ivette & April clawed each other to shreds.. some leader! I loved seeing them use Jenn's original replaced pic for the veto comp - they must really hate her. It was good to see Howie in the jury house and I loved that they gave us fans & feedsters his 'welcome to my banishment'.. the tv-only audience had no clue what that was about, it was a special for us - thanks guys! |

   WON PART 1She was great today, listening to what Janelle had to say and not seeing it for anything more than it was. I believe she was sincere when she told Janelle she was grateful for the promise to take her to finals, and when she said she thought Janelle deserved to win over both of them. She's in a tough spot and I feel for her: maybe it was stupid to promise Maggie to take her at this point - they'd agreed early on they'd all be on their own now - but she did promise and she doesn't want to go back on that. She also doesn't want to go home with nothing. She didn't tell Maggie that throwing the comp came up nor did she tell her Janelle would take her if she wins and that's ok: Maggie's the one who invented the Fiendship Rule that lies of omission are a-ok. Not ratting out Janelle for those bits also shows that Ivette's thinking about it. I don't think she would or could throw the comp - she's too proud & too competitive - but if she loses tomorrow everyone will believe she did. |

  WON PART 2She made her move and she did it with style, not offering deals or trades or asking for anything in return: she just said it like it is. To be fair, what she did tonight wasn't so very different from what Maggie does, but she only did it this once and I believe her that she's not gunning for first place (although it would be nice of course) and would be happy to come in second, and I think Ivette believes her too. She said just the right amount of info in just the right way that nobody (meaning Maggie) can come back later and say she 'cheated' or threatened or whatever else Ms. Morality will try to argue about. Janelle's likely to win Friday's comp especially if it's Q&A, and then we'll have the best match-up for finals with her & Ivette, along with a tricky call predicting jury votes. The only problem is that nobody will believe Ivette didn't throw it even if she tries her hardest, and that's kinda sad.. but it's a small price to pay for the pleasure of hearing Julie say 'Maggie, you are evicted'. |

   She showed her insecurity in a big way today by tailing Ivette wherever she went and making sure she couldn't go private with Janelle, but Diary took her away and it happened anyway. She also showed her hypocrisy so blatantly that even she'll understand when she comes out, when she ranted to Ivette about 'those cheaters' and in virtually the same breath moved on to how many quarters BB has given them as a study question. We all know they found 4 in HOH that they never told Janelle & Howie about. We know Maggie has a price to her integrity, and it's somewhere between $1 in quarters and $500k. She is definitely skilled in the art of emotional blackmail but I still don't see her as the evil genius so many do. I really don't think she's all that aware of what she does - I think she's just a natural and used to getting her way, even at potentially high mental & emotional cost to those she's getting it from. |

    She ran from side to side every week with angst even though she DID NOT CARE! She tried to get Ivette kicked out & blamed it on Janelle, like everything else: she's most of the reason her fellow crones hate Janelle so much. She brought Gladys Kravitz into the house, picked her nose, freaked out regularly, lied & cussed up a storm, but thanks to her we got Howie's Busto rant. |

   Pure fun & entertainment, he gave us boobies, his jack shack, the Busto rant, and so much more. His friendliness & charm outweigh his explicit mouth & harassing ways and most everyone loved him in the end. He brought the Force into the house and inspired Jedi Janey to carry on. Never mind his looks, build, and future economic potential: his best trait is just being Howie. |

Not as fabulous as promised, and it doesn't seem right that he knows so many people that Janelle & Howie do, not to mention he's pals with BB2 Hardy. I thought he'd be this year's Cowboy at #2 but he won an HOH so he's gone. |

   He played a good game, saved himself too many times, and played both sides against each other instead of for himself. He wasn't a very nice boyfriend, and he was mostly dull with an excuse for everything. Arrogance was his undoing. |

   Half of the oddest pairing since Oscar & Felix, she did her best but went to bed too early to make it all happen. She's not the most fun hamster by a long shot, but she's one of the most decent and I wish her well. |

   She wanted to 'stir up the house like Kaysar did' but instead she stirred up everyone with a whopper of a lie to America's Choice, and she took out his partner with a huge lie of omission. So long Jenn and remember, roses really smell like poo poo. |

   America's Choice by 82% (at least) but he was out 4th and 6th. He turned the game on its ear, took out an emperor, and fell for Janelle overnights but was taken out by the cheerleader who took out his partner because she cried. He's a class act and did it all with brains, humor and integrity. |

   She was too young & too naive to be in there but held up well considering she played with the boyfriend from hell. I'm glad she got out early and alive. |
