Hamsterwatch lite

Like Rachel, Maggie & April, I may be about done

I'm going to take a hint from Aldav and keep it simple

I appreciate hearing from hamsterwatchers, but please stop sending me strategy theories on who should do what or what mistakes any or all of them made.. post them on a site where such things will be given the time & attention they deserve, and enjoy the discourse.. I just don't have the time to read & respond anymore, and I go by what has happened or what most likely will - I can't control the future nor change the past in there

I've never been bothered about the game so much as the people playing it: what makes them do what they do and why they react like they react.. I'd ask folks to stop sending me news about stuff I've already posted about, but I'm trying to be nice here.. it's not easy tonight

Ivette gives James a cheery morning greeting.. Janelle shows off her hideously grotesque new fat figure.. Maggie forbids fly-o-cide

Ivette: Let's not jump into attacking people because of the game
Ivette: Some people just don't get over things
....
Maggie (sarcastic): Let's give Howie & Janelle a break from cooking
Beau: Get the flyswatter!
Maggie: Don't kill it!! Not in my kitchen!!
Norman Bates' mother: Just look at her - she wouldn't even hurt a fly

The buxom blonde bombshell's mom drops in to a chat (maybe/probably - it was someone from Minnesota anyway) - she seems pleasant - her daughter tells Rachel about the upcoming James Plan ver. 8.2.. Beau eavesdrops from upstairs - did he hear? I don't know, I can't ask him

Rachel, Ivette & Maggie play cards, friendly with just a few nasty undertones - they're subtle - if you think this is weird after yesterday, you might want to review.. Maggie thinks it's weird too but she goes along with it anyway, like she does

Third try's the charm for a peaceful family dinner.. they compare favorite reality shows and Big Brother casts & characters - each of them who's said they've never seen the show is busted, but nobody notices - Ivette steals her cable (who cares).. they almost get things into perspective when they talk at length about serial killers, famous kidnapings, etc but it's temporary of course, backstabbing awaits

April drops a little hint on to Maggie that builds on the little hint Howie dropped last night, and she finally starts to catch on to the game everyone's been playing but her.. needless to say, April makes a quick exit from HOH before much of it gets underway

She sorta confronts Ivette about James and finals and votes.. it's their 52nd day in the house and Maggie acts like it's everybody else's fault she's been asleep til now.. Ivette knows an opening when she sees one and tells her how things are, more or less

Ivette's taken a little off guard by Maggie's sudden awakening but she covers well - Maggie never notices the occasional and out-of-character pauses, umms, or the fact that everything's getting deflected onto James, Janelle, and April - again

After a very long time Maggie's deer-in-headlights look starts to settle back to her usual thorazine stupor, and Ivette's brilliance at playing the game is clear once again

Recommended viewing: Ivette's pre-show interviews with Marcellas on the CBS site, particularly Part 2 particularly around 2:40, but it's all good (thanks Kweku)

Maggie goes on a comfort foods binge accompanied by Ivette's million dollar meal ticket Beau.. eventually April decides it's safe to return.. she gets weird like she does, unaware that she's the new rising star of an upcoming pariah hit parade but no worries, she expects it every week

The rest of the night is the usual zaniness, but unfortunately the drips are the ones being zany and they don't do it well at all.. the fun team of Howie & Janelle are all serious again, studying hard for finals

Nerd herd

These are from ads running on the CBS Big Brother site these days.. what are the odds of this happening?

They're part of a Vonage internet phone campaign - find a CBS/BB page with banner ads across the top and "refresh" til they cycle through if you don't believe me.. Whack-a-hamster saw this one coming: America's Choice will likely be a call from home via Vonage, maybe with text message voting through Goldpocket something or other, who put out the AC press release

Howie & Co. aren't fooling anyone.. we know who the real nerds are: those of us who sit here and watch a bunch of people we don't know on our computers.. sigh

A new America's Choice to be announced on Thursday's show

We still have a one hamster surplus compared to last year's schedule so expect another double eviction fishies-thon or a cash offer for April to leave

Ultralite edition/stale pics

Editors
First half of Tuesday's show was highly pro-coven (but only 3 Eric references), anti-Janelle/Howie, and James neutral. Second half was pro-James, anti-Ivette, and everyone else neutral. I could provide examples but it's their show and they do what they want anyway, including skipping the whole veto comp controversy by just dropping the rule that James supposedly broke. They owe the Girl Scouts of America an apology for airing James' comparing the hideous coven to them multiple times.

April
She's like a weasel coated in oil - she's a nuisance but nobody can catch her. Not that anyone really wants to - at this rate she'll be in the finals and we'll never get to see her freak out on the nomination block. Diary must hate her more than feedsters - just imagine what she's like in there - they got payback on the show though by playing clown music when she fell down on the grass in her pink ruffly-butt bikini, before nearly drowning in their teeny swimming pool.

Beau
HEAD of HOUSEHOLD
NON-HOUSEGUEST
(Howie's term)

Howie
NOMINATED
CBS can replay BUSTO and show him as a bully and a thug all they want, but now we know that April ok'd the entire thing ahead of time so pfffttttt. Howie's 'Blind Date' ep aired round the clock today and NERD HERD has caught on so well that CBS is running Vonage ads featuring a 'no nerds needed' campaign now.

Ivette
She's brilliant game-wise and few saw it coming, but she's still nasty. Just our luck, we'll end up with her versus James at the end, two tactical giants but nobody likes either one.. it might as well be Beau versus April.

James
See Ivette.

Janelle
Ripped off by CBS all around (note the careful insertion of her asking Jennifer for 'the key, bitch' - captioned, no less - but Jenn throwing it off to the side failed to make the air this time.. hmm. Not to worry: Janelle will be as big a star as she wants to be after this. I have nekkie pics of her without the huge logo imprint on that other site, but I've decided not to post them, that's how much I like her. Anyway they do look touched up/faked, or maybe it was just a bad airbrush artist working that day. If they're legit you can bet they'll get rerun by the magazine they're supposedly from.

Maggie
Even though she can't quite figure out how it all works yet, she was stunned to realize Ivette might prefer to go to finals with Beau for the big bucks than with her.. 'nuff said.

Rachel
NOMINATED
Still leaving Thursday.

Jennifer

She wanted to 'stir up the house like Kaysar did' but instead she stirred up everyone with a whopper of a lie to America's Choice, and she took out his partner with a huge lie of omission. So long Jenn and remember, roses really smell like poo poo.

Kaysar

America's Choice by 82% (at least) but he was out 4th and 6th. He turned the game on its ear, took out an emperor, and fell for Janelle overnights but was taken out by the cheerleader who took out his partner because she cried. He's a class act and did it all with brains, humor and integrity.

Sarah

She was too young & too naive to be in there but held up well considering she played with the boyfriend from hell. I'm glad she got out early and alive.

Eric

Maybe the poorest loser in BB history but he gave us the best fight sequence. He said it nonstop but he never understood that 'it's just a game'.

Michael

Not blameless but not the villain they made him out to be either. He had funny voices, 'The Continental' and Janelle - plus the best hoax of the season.

Ashlea

There's never much to say about the first out except they're gone. She blabbed too much so she wouldn't have lasted long but she was fun while she was there.

I love keeping tabs on the feeds during summer, and wish I didn't have to do this.. but the reality is it takes a ton of time that I can't really afford to give away. Please support other BB6 fan sites that you like, too - many many thanks!

This site isn't necessarily about who should win, who will win, who I'd be friends with, or who is cute. It's about watching hamsters: which ones are doing what and why, which are fun and which are dull. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior.. that dingo
