Watch Big Brother 13 on SuperPass! Daily Hamsterwatch
I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 13 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

FAQ
Duos were reinstated for one week after Porsche opened Pandora's Box.

Brendon was revived a week after eviction after apparently beating the other three evictees to date in a CBS poll, and beating August 11 evictee Lawon in a live ball-chute comp.

They called Adam's elf Cruddy and his beardless look Phillip.

Brendon's knees got messed up from the food comp with the ant costumes.

They called Dominic PT for pre-teen, a running gag about how young he looks, and/or part-time, referring to his modeling career.

Nominations & veto were pairs-based until there were 10 left.

The evictee's surviving partner got one of four Golden Keys, meaning they couldn't be nominated or play for HOH until there were 10 left.

Dick left mysteriously, off the feeds, due to 'personal reasons' per him and CBS. We may never know the full story.

CBS shows air Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm

Big Brother After Dark airs 1-4am Thursdays and 12-3am other nights, on Showtime in USA and Global Reality in Canada

BB13 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. The BB veterans probably get more.

The habitat has 52 cameras and 95 microphones.

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

We got feeds again (Wednesday)

Feeds returned at 9pm on the dot, to Jordan packing and Adam, Rachel & Porsche playing cards in HOH.. Jordan & Porsche were nominated but it doesn't really matter: Porsche won the veto, so she'll take herself off and Rachel will go up.. the HOH trio were talking like Jordan will be gone tomorrow at this time, and so was Jordan when she joined them for a minute, which makes sense since Porsche's the only vote and she & Jordan have barely talked all season

Adam did his blog and said he gave shoutouts to the BB fansites, like Porsche did in hers - big ups to both of them for that, we all work hard at this.. he said he didn't mention this one by name in it
THE FINAL HOH COMP ENDURANCE IS THURSDAY NIGHT! Watch it on the feeds with a three-day free trial!

Champagne wishes and tie-dye schemes (Tuesday)

Big Brother kept them up til 6am (see yesterday's episode if you missed the overnight shenanigans - click the "previous episode" link up top), and then gave them champagne at 9am, along with tie-dye kits and a deck of real cards - why, you ask? They'll be blocking the feeds for 24 hours, give or take, in order to cover up the fact that they're actually taping Wednesday's show tonight.. yes, that only draws more attention to the fact, but that's the way they do things: logic does not apply, and we already know they hate us

They gave the hamsters booze in order to perk them up after only a few hours sleep, since they taped tonight's Showtime this morning.. the usual sham was made even more ridiculous this year by them using their Diary/actoring voices, constantly referring to having mimosas in the morning, and continuously asking "I wonder why we're on Showtime now".. the usual pre-eviction HOH lockdown was even sleepier than usual, and that's saying something

The one thing that's really bugging me is why Jordan's set on this idea of a pity vote for Kalia.. she's been very vocal about Shelly's betrayal with her "fool me once, shame on you - fool me twice, shame on me" - we know Adam & Rachel are voting out Kalia, but Jordan can't be 100% sure of that.. also, why is Rachel okay with this plan? Even though Rachel wouldn't get Kalia's finals vote anyway and she knows it, why should she get more blood on her hands at this late date? Let alone Rachel & Adam are surely aware this is a transparent ploy for Jordan to ensure Kalia's finals vote, which she already has anyway.. the whole idea of a sympathy vote when there are only two votes plus a tiebreaker is insanity, and seems way too risky for these hamsters to be okay with it, in my opinion.. Jordan was stressing about it though, so maybe she'll change her mind before she gives Julie her vote

The feeds went off around 2.40pm - or rather they went into a timewarp showing past history (Day 7, second day of feeds).. they won't be back to live & current for a good long time.. two reliable sources are saying Jordan stuck to her plan and Rachel broke the tie, evicting Kalia, and also that Adam is the new Head of Household based on fortune teller true/false questions.. but remember as always, nothing is ever 100% until Julie says so - and then on Wednesday, she did

Ratings - Dingo's Believe It or Not Final Four edition

Ratings are based on entertainment value. Comp wins to date are included this time, for those who are interested.
VTE = Voted to evict

Wednesday: Julie opened with 'It's Day 68' but it was Day 67 when she said it - hardly anyone but the hamsters and me keep track of the days but surely everyone else who does knows that tonight's show was recorded yesterday. They better not include day count questions in the final comps for this or the other two goofs they've made on that score. I didn't check the various days mentioned in the OTEV comp but hopefully they were correct. As much as they tried to keep everything secret, everyone knew the outcome anyway, as always. It was a packed show but they really should have run the fortune teller segment before Kalia's eviction since she was running through the house to the lounge after she'd hit Julie's boudoir, which is confusing sequencing even for them. As was having Kalia & Porsche in the nominee chairs from the top of the show, signaling that whoever won the veto didn't use it. Kalia's bathroom boo-hooing will be remembered by many as one of the season highlights.

Tuesday:They've blocked us before and they'll block us again - it's what they do. They hate us. To add insult to injury, they even reran the feeds rerun instead of just letting it play through, for those few who haven't figured out how to use Flashback yet. But karma boomeranged on them today in the form of yet more sloppy, and I added three more items to their goofs tally. The folks who tried to prank the BB world by pretending they were at Tuesday's taping when they weren't ended up suffering the slings and arrows of outrageous idiocy, for which I and probably most of the other main BB tweeters are grateful: it kept them off of us for a few hours.

Paired with Dominic Shelly - GOLDEN KEY
Won: One week elf suit, clothes
VTE Kalia
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
WINS TO DATE: 1 HOH, 2 vetos
Big ups for winning again when it counted, and twice in one show! His BB checklist items are really getting marked off now. Some are bashing him for not using his veto to send Jordan to jury, but I say he's a hero for getting Kalia off our feeds. It's too bad we missed his HOH room, goodies and letter from Fara but maybe they'll put it on tomorrow's show. I think he's got a good chance to go all the way, but I don't think he can stand up to Rachel & Porsche in endurance, unless it's something suited to his size.

Paired with Jeff Rachel
Won: One week catsuit + tutu, clothes
VTE Porsche
NOMINATED
WINS TO DATE: 1 HOH, 0 vetos
Apparently she got another pass to go to bed before Showtime was over again, but she didn't say much at all before that when the feeds finally came back other than a short visit to HOH, asking if she'll travel to the jury house with Kalia. The others poo-poo'd that but she knows she's going. She rarely bad-mouths anyone but she did Porsche, many times, so it's ironic and too bad for her that her fate now lies in Porsche's hands. She said all along she just wanted to spend the summer with Jeff, and now they can have this final week together.

Paired with Keith Kalia - GOLDEN KEY
Won: $5,000, clothes
No vote (nominee)
NOMINATED - WON VETO
WINS TO DATE: 1 HOH, 2 vetos
Big ups for winning when she needed to and now she's got all the power. It's pretty funny that the girl most didn't even recognize for weeks is now in Final 3, and she didn't get here by accident. All four standing were nominated plenty of times this season and survived - that's something. Regardless of whatever camp you're in, they all four deserve credit for making it this far. It'd probably be better for Porsche in these final comps to evict Rachel, but it seems fairly certain that Jordan will be gone. But Porsche could give Rachel some good competition in tomorrow's endurance comp, and that would give us a great show.

Paired with Brendon Jordan
Won: Jessie paraphernalia
VTE Kalia (tiebreaker)
WINS TO DATE: 3 HOH, 2 vetos (1 co)
She's 0 for 3 as far as HOH interviews with Julie - what's up with that? She really has no leg to stand on talking about Kalia crying after losing OTEV - hello? Does crying in the bushes ring a bell? By the time the feeds came back, she appeared to have abandoned Jordan after being her bestie for the last couple weeks, and she's suddenly all chummy with Porsche again. She's been a new & improved Rachel since Brendon left, but she turned into old Rachel tonight (sans the Vegas), by quickly and transparently ditching her alliance-mate and 'floating' to the new power holder, and her 'cow' comment to Kalia was a shocker, even from her. She should contribute to this being a very good endurance comp - here's hoping.

Paired with Lawon Porsche
Won: $5,000, Caribbean trip, clothes
She seemed to be eating most of the time and she talked 'literally' nonstop, but it was her constant singing & resulting palms that got her on feedsters' hit lists, escalated by doggie horror stories like throwing her yorkie into a wall (8/29 11.13pm, 8/29 12.43pm). She talked a lot about making 'big moves' but her first was to nom & evict her own teamie Lawon. She later nom'd & evicted Jeff, but she didn't get the flak for it that Shelly did.

Paired with Cassi Adam - GOLDEN KEY
Won: 24 hours solitary, phone call
She'd said she didn't want to fill the mom role but she represented the demo well, being a friend to most of them when they were down and handing out good advice. She also bashed with the best of them, smoked and cleaned non-stop, and she introduced the hilarious stealth hammock creep. She took a lot of flak for things she did and didn't do, but she played the game the way it was designed to be played and it took them 55 days to catch on.

Paired with Jordan
Won: $15,000
His sense of entitlement to be there and win was as strong as the other vets, but it didn't work out for him this time either. He went out on a bitter note but he gave us his share of funny one-liners while he lasted, especially when he was losing. He had issues with Dumbledore, was a formidable opponent for the new grill and for Adam & Shelly's cigarette supplies, he won all the cash to date, and he'll probably get yet another CBS show after this.

Paired with Dick - GOLDEN KEY/TICKET
Won/used: Veto ticket
She looked & acted different this time, especially when she joked & laughed which was great to see, but she failed at her former specialty of winning vetos and she went back to whining when on the block and on slop. Like all the vets, she had a sense of entitlement but she turned on them too soon, got Dominic booted, and later evicted her teamie Lawon. She shuffled her deck and almost had an 11th hour save, but it 'literally' didn't work out.

Paired with Rachel
Won: 1 week revival
His return was twice unwelcome, especially now that he's had a year to suck the life and Vegas out of Rachel. This time he wore superhero suits, used not-funny voices, lost a toy turtle, lectured everyone, and had big goofy smiles for Big Booty & Porsche's striptease. He had a pathetic sense of entitlement and made a giant stink about Rachel calling him Buki.

Paired with Kalia
Won: nothing
My favorite hamster in years, he came out with his best stuff late nights so many missed it, but he gave great Diary, wore kooky outfits and officiated at the trashbag wedding with tremendous style & flair. He caught flak for pawning himself out the door but his teamies encouraged it and put him up, so it's not all on him. He was Lawonderful with a fantastic laugh and he'll be missed.

Paired with Adam
Won: nothing
He was the first casualty of Daniele's too hard/too fast strategy but he didn't help himself by not brushing up more on how BB works. He told a lot of pointless lies about his modeling, schooling, virginity and then fessed up to them, which might have come back to bite him anyway. His adolescent jokes & behavior did nothing for me.

Paired with Shelly
Won: nothing
She started off okay and had Dominic in her pocket, but Shelly befriended her so well that when they were both nominated, Cassi just laid down and died. She complained a lot, failed to fulfill her catfight potential, and was the third model in a row to be booted out second. She had the best Mirror-Face since BB5/7 Jase.

Paired with Porsche
Won: nothing
He claimed to be a fan since BB1 but even watching only CBS, he clearly wasn't paying attention: who throws a veto comp when they're on the block? He went in with a clearly outlined womanizing strategy which failed miserably, he set off another BB Weinergate, and he panicked himself right out the door.

Paired with Daniele
Won: nothing
We haven't had a premiere night no-show since BB9 Jacob, and we haven't had a mysterious early exit since BB9 Neil. These pairs twist seasons just seem to complicate things for production. No real word yet on why Dick's gone (and there may never be) but he sure was looking rough in the premiere.

They taped Wednesday's eviction show on Tuesday. The feeds were off for about 30 hours, and Tuesday night's Showtime was taped Tuesday morning.

SuperPass took up some of the slack with live shows Tuesday afternoon featuring BB6/7 Howie Gordon & Janelle Pierzina and BB10 Kevin Campbell.. they will probably be archived.

Dick Donato had emergency gall bladder surgery - best wishes to him for a speedy recovery! He is planning to be at the finale.

Cassi Colvin has landed a spot on CBS soap "The Bold & the Beautiful", taping September 15, to air in October.
