I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better

This site is about the Big Brother 12 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It also isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why, who's fun and who's dull. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior.

Happy Birthday Britney! 23 today
Much nervousing & some waffling
Next Thursday is double eviction - they won't know til the show starts

Next CBS show is Wednesday 8pm: Veto comp & repercussions, Pandora 3.0 & meathead flexing, luau, Lane's phone call?, veto meeting, assorted dramas

Sunday's show was 2nd for the hour with 7.58 million viewers, 4.5 rating and 8 share, behind pre-season football on NBC with 10.3/6.3/11, and ahead of 'America's Funniest Home Videos' rerun on ABC with 6.95/4.0/7, and 'The Simpsons' and 'The Cleveland Show' reruns on FOX with 4.0/2.2/4 and 3.97/2.2/4 respectively. Football also won the 18-49 demographic.

What extra foods should Have-nots get?
Broccoli & bean dip

Two hour finale is September 15

Brendon opened Pandora's Box which gave him a night out and let Rachel back for 24 hours.

Matt opened Pandora's Box which held the return of the saboteur (in the form of Ragan) to WREAK HAVOC, and gave him diamond veto for 2 weeks.

Britney opened Pandora's Box and got an hour of BB10/11 Jessie insulting her while the others had a luau

Ragan won $20k for performing 3 tasks a week for 2 weeks undetected. His identity will be revealed to them at the finale.

I use Stabo/Staboteur/Stabotage because of the typo in an early official CBS BB tweet

Annie & Monet were sequestered until Andrew was evicted. Nobody knows why.

The first saboteur was Annie. She'd have won $50k if she lasted 5 weeks undetected.

Ragan's tattoo says 'Quelquefois un rêve est ce qui vous fait un esclave' ('Sometimes a dream is what makes you a slave')

Have-Nots have their own room again, cold showers again, slop again, plus additional food items decided by viewer votes.

Nobody knows why Paolo isn't there.

The winner of BB12 will win $500k and 2nd place gets $50k. Hamsters earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester.

The habitat has 52 cameras and 95 microphones.

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

>> Tweeting Big Brother since BB8 - click to see all or follow - latest:

    Boys and their bugs

They all attempted to shmooze Britney before the veto meeting, like they do, but the morning's excitement came when they found a june bug and a praying mantis within minutes of each other, and we were reminded that we've got six guys in there

They were going to fly the june bug on a string but I think BB put the kaibosh on that, fear of PETA maybe.. but we were also reminded of how not-fun this group is compared to seasons past: back in Season 5, they found and flew a june bug and we had the kind of patter that made the feeds fun to watch, this from Marvin Latimer "C'mon bitch, better fly if you wanna get outta here.. he could be in Cirque du Soleil looking like that" and later when they set him free, with a bit of thread still stuck to him "We kinda tagged him, like Mutual of Omaha".. alas, no such entertainment from this crew: their june bug was history after bubbles, and the mantis went into a jar.. in further interspecies news, yesterday's sick fishie succumbed along with another, adding two more notches to the sidebar tally

Brendon took himself off the block OBVI and Britney nominated Matt.. she said to the other guys afterwards "I just backdoored someone" - umm, unless this was fully planned from the start and not due to Brendon, Lane, Hayden & Enzo influencing her, not technically, no.. and anyway, he'd have to go out the door first

BBQ 2010 Smackdown I: The Tease

"It won't light" - with those three words, the first match of the new season was on

Brendon was going to grill up some post-veto broccoli but he couldn't get the metal monster to play along with him.. he called in Hayden as backup, but he didn't have the chops to stick around for long.. Brendon kept sticking his head into the monster's mouth, farther, farther - clearly he's never seen that most famous of smackdowns, The Immolator, when the clanking menace attempted to incinerate BB6 Ivette, and nearly succeeded

Brendon kept poking and tinkering, inciting the wrath of the beast but it kept stringing him along.. Brendon ignored the WARNING stickers in front of his face and the audience wondered if maybe they'd left the gas on all night - the grill snickered at that, and so did I.. still it bided its time, luring Brendon deeper into its clutches, but eventually it let itself be lit.. it spared Brendon this time, maybe waiting til he grows some hair back

Final score: BBQ ½, Brendon 0

    Back to our story

What a day - you could almost call it dramatic, except that it starred this snoozy cast.. Matt & Ragan had a little post-noms chat that didn't go well (for Matt), then when Lane was called to Diary - for his phone call as it turned out - Ragan began an impromptu Backyard Meeting with everyone else, explaining that he was accused of campaigning last week when he hadn't.. Hayden said yes he had.. Matt curled up and died, and Ragan went into seclusion

Later on Matt & Ragan made it up, like they do.. Ragan told him he's a goner, and that he thought Enzo, Lane & Hayden are working together and also with Brendon, and that he thought Matt used to be in with them.. Matt apologized for letting Ragan campaign when he knew he had the sparkly all along, and for trying to steer Britney from Matt to Ragan for today's replacement, and Ragan accepted.. later still, Matt confessed to Ragan that he's a much bigger BB fan than he's let on, that he'd been a finalist last season, and he dished some dirt about someone on BB11, but they bubbled that from us

Ragan went to Diary for a very long time while the others were on lockdown outside, and they wondered if he'd walked out (but he'd just been studying before) - BB was just scooping out the dead fishies and letting Ragan ramble on in his marathon Diary.. Lane was elated by his phone call with his momma, and seemed surprised that she knew who Enzo, Britney & friends are.. Hayden started running endgame scenarios alone and aloud to us, with him & Lane as finalists

Late night turned surprisingly pleasant after Brendon removed himself: Matt & Hayden made a tabletop football game, Britney made a tinfoil tiara, Penguin made a spaceship, and Ragan went back to his former non-obsessive, happy, funny self - he was a little sippy

CBS will never be able to unravel this clusterfuck

Daily Ratings - Divorce & Reconciliation edition

Ratings are based on entertainment value

I know they're just making a tv show and that they hate us, but it's gotten to the point they should just quit the feeds and this charade of 'see it all 24/7', and just make another over-edited dopey reality show. Too many bubbles, too much meddling, not enough rules consistency or enforcement, and uninspired casting. We still see & hear more than they want us to, and they know it, but they don't care as we're a tiny percentage of their CBS audience. That's not an astronomical number (7 to 8 million most shows, against reruns), but it's the only one that counts. This show treats its loyal fans worse than anyone has a right to, and many of those loyal fans are finally starting to feel offended and question what's being fed to them. My work is done.

Oh, and GIVE THEM SOME CARDS or something, and preferably not from the preschool aisle this time.

Won: A night in Malibu & massage; shaved head; 24 15 hrs chum dips chained to Britney
Yes he's a dweeb but he isn't quite as bad as a solo act as he was with You Know Who. I'd congratulate him for inaugurating a new BBQ Smackdown season today, but he lost the match.

Won: $10; 24 15 hrs chained to Brendon; 1 hour with Jessie
Ups for a happy birthday made stressful, but she covered well. I don't want to see Matt walk the plank but it would be good for her, and she didn't have many other options. I'm a little tired of the armchair quarterbacking out here though: she did what she did, it's done, and if you don't like it so much that it's raising your blood pressure, try switching to a hobby you can control. Maybe you'd like The Sims.

    Won: 42" 3D TV; 1 week penguin
    Lost: his clothes
Today's events got him out of his slump but the Penguin will remember soon enough that he's still nominated, and he might get wind of Matt's very subtle shmooze tactics and start to worry again. If you're upset about him not wearing his beak, see Producers above. They don't care, and they hate us. But hey, at least he's wearing the feets now. His late night spaceship was wonderful, partly due to wearing the beak.

    Won: 24 18 hours solitary
Is he going to win this thing? I don't much care who does, but I don't think I'd like to see him take it all.. his hair's way too dumb for that.

    Won: $1,000; phone call
His aww moment was overshadowed by today's near-drama, and he missed the Backyard Meeting for it so he had to rely on he said/she said versions of it, which is EXACTLY what Ragan was trying to avoid. He's thrilled they named a burger for him at home.. these poor guys really think they're stars now.

    Won: $1, Diamond Veto
His goose is all but cooked but he's not giving up yet. He danced faster today than he has for weeks but unfortunately for him, most of them probably noticed. He did however smooth things over with Ragan and might even win him back all the way by Thursday. But he'll have to get both Brendon and Britney too in order to stay, and the only way to do that is to out the Brigade. Timing is tricky: too soon and his former boys will fix the damage, and too late (on Thursday's show) might cause too much shock with too little time to get the results he needs.

    Won: $20,000, Veto ticket
I'm giving him qualified ups for his Backyard Meeting since it came so much out of the blue and because he presented his case extremely well. He was classy in his little tiff with Matt before that, as well as in their make-up sessions afterwards, and that can't be said for many hamsters. Unfortunately for us, we don't watch for polite, rational discussions between adversaries.. we want blood. But that's our Ragan: a bright, sensitive, articulate guy with a good heart. At least he stopped crying and it looks as though he's ready to start playing Big Brother now, as evidenced by his big but smooth & subtle late night game move, talking about Penguin competing in Thursday's HOH comp - in front of Matt.

She spoiled a lot of early fights by being the peacemaker we didn't need. An early illness laid her low but once she recovered, she didn't bring much to the feeds other than sucking up to whoever was in power. She was the only regular smoker this season, which was an odd juxtaposition with her cancer survival and announced upcoming relapse. She took over fish feeding as well as Hayden's sock monkey, her mascara'd eyelashes had storylines of their own, and she's the first bleached blonde hamster who started off with three weeks' worth of dark roots.

    Won: $5,000, 24 20 hour revival
The buxom bombshell role and star of the 1st half thanks to her total lack of self-awareness and her adolescent slurpmance with Brendon. She talked up her game but both her HOHs were wasted on non-threats for purely personal reasons. She was chaos, volatility and mood swings deluxe but rarely boring. She'll be remembered for indecipherable blogs, farewells to 4 of 4 who came between her & her man, tacky outfits & tack-on hair, her dysfunctional showmance, and 'I AM VEGAS!'

    Won: $100, 1 week wig & catsuit
She was barely there the first couple weeks but she came alive and participated in some juicy spats and was the subject of Andrew's scorching exit speech. She was half a showmance with Hayden, wore a silly wig & catsuit for a week, and ate a spider, yet for all this, she still was barely there. She spent most of her time horizontal with Kathy or Hayden, and would only talk with others one-on-one.

He promised chaos and delivered on that, leaving them and us wondering what he was up to most of the time. He was a good early guess for the staboteur but he WREAKED more HAVOC just by being himself. He was early-to-bed & early-to-rise so I missed a lot of what he did, but he brought some Orthodox education, travel companion/fingerbang stories, and he made lots of threats to make good tv that didn't pan out until his final moments.

    Won: $10,000
She promised princessy but failed to deliver, opting instead for poor-me tears, complaints about being fat, and a lot of moping around. But she wasn't all doom & gloom: she rode the slip 'n slide and made fun of her keep-warm sleeping layers, and she was Britney's #1 mean girl cohort. She tried out for ANTM and might have fared better there, as they wouldn't have flashed her boobies.

She turned her nomination into the House of Annie and wheedled everyone for days, to no avail. She promised catfights with Britney and Rachel but nothing came of it, leaving her in the 'Who?' category for future BB trivia, even including her stabotage. She's lucky she went early: she might have cracked bad and the chops would get really brutal.

Lucky #14 got away before the season began without any secrets exposed or embarrassing incidents to live forever on the web. Her dirty laundry will remain in the hamper, but boobies fans will be forever disappointed and wonder 'what if?'
