This site is about the Big Brother 11 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me. It also isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why, who's fun and who's dull. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior.
BB11 DRINKING GAMES
Now's the time to stock up your fridge, wine cellar and/or booze cabinet - the games begin soon!
Hamsters are now in hotel sequester and will be moving into the habitat any day now
The premiere is July 9. The feeds will probably kick on at 9pm PT/midnight ET that night, along with Showtime
CBS shows will air Sundays at 8, Tuesdays at 9, and live evictions Thursdays at 8
Ross (The Intern) Mathews will do post-eviction shows every Friday
I don't know but am guessing/hoping we'll have weekly visits from Craig Ferguson again (even though they've revived the 'no outside contact' catchphrase)
FAQ
There will be four teams: Populars, Jocks, Brainiacs, and Offbeats. We don't yet know how they'll be assigned.
Teamies of the HOH cannot be nominated.
Comps will determine living conditions for the teams. The losers will live in the Jail room with lights always on, cold water showers, and slop.
Viewer votes will determine one additional food item the sloppers can have.
There will be a 13th hamster. We don't yet know who that will be or how it'll work.
Promises of a 'green' habitat have apparently been grossly exaggerated: they still have the washer & dryer (rats!) not to mention tons of TV lights, but they did get recycling bins and a compost machine.
Feeds will have new replay options such as the ability to select a date & time to see what you missed - or to rewatch what you just can't believe and have to see again!

It's official
We're back in high school - ugh.. the teams are popular, athletes, brainiacs, and off-beats (formerly outcasts)A 13th hamster of some sort will join them at some point, with some sort of advantage for someone.. I guess we'll just have to do a wait 'n see there
They'll play in teams of Haves versus Have-nots, with the losers taking cold showers, sleeping in a jail cell with the lights always on, and eating slop plus additional food restrictions that viewers will have a say on
It's pretty much the same cast we expected, right down to the his & hers bikini models and the lovemuscle, but we know the labels and typecasting wear off pretty fast in there, and when the individuality and personal baggage makes itself known is when the real fun begins
And.. we're off!
That's always been the case but more now than ever, as there will be fewer videos posted - but SuperPass is adding a great new replay feature so you can go back to see what you missed, or see again what you couldn't believe you saw the first time
There are more sites & blogs jumping on the Big Brother bandwagon every season.. some are run by teams of people and some (like this one) are one-person efforts, and there's a ton of competition between them.. most of you visit various sites on a daily basis, but in all honesty, everyone wants your sign-up click

Daily Ratings - Phony Bios Edition
Ratings will usually be based on entertainment value - everyone gets complimentary neutrals for now, but face-value first impressions are in effect. Their (sketchy) CBS stats are posted below and their official phony and/or exaggerated bios are linked.. I've added my own Most Likely To category (since it's the High School season), and am adding more snap judgments based largely on Ross Mathews' interviews (see sidebar Links of the Day). Links to the hamsters' own sites are appearing gradually on my links page as new stuff is discovered. Start memorizing those names!
Update BB5/7 Diane Henry's extended interviews are now being posted at CBS2.com - links are being added below as each hamster's shows up.. because of their length and because they're unedited, these always give us the absolute best pre-feeds insight of everything floating around out there
  
Don't even get me started on the 13th Question Mark! Rumors of BB9 Sheila Kennedy showing up have not been well received. The 'Early Show' website showed Wednesday as 'Wednessday, July 1' so that's a hint that their quality control is still a bit off, and it didn't mention hamster intros in the 'Coming Up' section, so BB is still a low priority for CBS.I have little hope for them. Their edit of the one-day journalist run-through was like watching a rerun of every season, the rumored twists sound silly (high school? really??), and I'm betting the Showtime hours will be more staged than ever and as phony as 'The Hills'. But I'll strive to keep an open mind and hope we have some explosive, tweaky, unique personalities along with a trainwreck or two to keep us amused. Julie's expanding baby bump will be the thing to watch on CBS this season, along with her choices of maternity outfits - her size zero days are over for awhile. |
