Thursday eviction show was 2nd for the hour with a 4.2 rating and 8 share, behind 'So You Think You Can Dance' finale on FOX with 5.0/9, and ahead of '30 Rock' rerun on NBC with 2.2/4, and 'Grey's Anatomy' rerun on ABC with 2.1/4.

Comps determine living conditions. The losers live in the Jail room with lights always on cold water showers, and slop.
Viewer votes determine one additional food item the sloppers can have.
Teams are over. There were four teams: Populars, Jocks, Brainiacs, and Offbeats.
Teamies of the HOH could not be nominated, but they could compete in the next week's HOH comp.
Hamsters earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. It's possible Jessie gets more (BB7 All-Stars did).
The habitat has 52 cameras and 80 mics.
The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

Russell's just one more in a long line of male hamsters with an aversion to body hair.. while most of them dozed in the Thursday morning HOH lockdown, he lathered up & shaved his face, head, chest, and nether regions (or FUPA, as BB6/7 Howie called that zone)Ronnie walked the plank to Julie's boudoir as expected, cutting his big dream short by $500,000 and/or a few weeks in Paradise© with commensurate pay, but not before making an ass of himself by attacking Michele over nothing but his own insecurity.. unlike Casey's scorchy speech, Ronnie humiliated only himself
Chima got her HOH room and Prince's Purple Rain, and the assembled crowd lingered longer than usual.. Jeff's playing that he doesn't have the Power but many of them already suspect he does.. early nomination suggestions are Lydia and Michele, possibly Kevin, and possibly Russell.. it's still hard to get a feed without ickies, but it's a bit easier now that Ronnie isn't everywhere
Chima & Russell finally got some alone time but it was during Showtime, so they kept up the pretense that they'd never planned their fight, at least until the end when they hugged and Russell said "Outside of this game I'd definitely like to call you and talk to you".. they also let a couple things slip about acting and smiling during the big fight.. I'm ready to let it drop, but I'll keep an ear on them when they're alone too - outside of the Showtime window

Michele's 'the wildcard'? The phone-in messages played 'all night long'? 'Haunting their dreams'? Really? I must be on drugs because what I see 'round the clock never seems to match up at all to what shows up on CBS. It was nice to see a glimpse of fishies during the HOH comp though, and to hear a Diary staffer voice telling Jeff how to pronounce his Coop Day Tat - or did I hallucinate those things? I know I didn't imagine all the fishies control room outages tonight: there was more of that than there was feeds. |

Her HOH week is going to be a trial since she talks so much and so often to ickies, so I'll be avoiding the HOH room a lot. |

Team PopularVTE Ronnie I haven't upped the makeout pairings to one yet although I guess I should at this point. I just have trouble considering it making out when they're doing less kissing then coming up for air, which is the way they go at it. She & Jeff have nothing to worry about again, partly because of the cabat cadoo, and partly because nobody thinks they're a threat. Granted, they can't seem to win much, but a two-vote block is a lot these days - apparently none of the others realize this. |
 
Team Offbeat Won: $5,000VTE Ronnie He talked for a long time with Jessie and assorted others tonight but since it was Jessie - you guessed it, I didn't listen. He could be in jeopardy tomorrow or Monday with the veto, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens. |
 
Team Offbeat Won: Plasma TVNo vote (nominee) She was back to laying around with Jessie again (surprise!) and even made a snotty remark to him about an oral thank you he didn't get since he voted to evict her. I'd have to go back and check, but I'm guessing there are others in there that she's voted to evict, but only she's allowed to hold a grudge about it. She started playing flirty games with Jeff tonight, which I haven't seen her do before.. Jordan didn't seem to mind. |
 
Team BrainVTE Ronnie Now she gets her sympathy ups for having endured that ridiculous display from Ronnie for no reason at all. It rattled her and it probably affected her performance for the memory comp (possibly his intention), but she might live another week anyway. Even if she doesn't, she won't have to spend another minute with Ronnie either in the habitat or the jury house, and he has to live forever with the fact that she's staying til the end of the game while he went home early. |
 
Team JockVTE Lydia Her perma-negative gets neutralized today for cabat cadoo, which is the best new hamster phrase we've had since BB5 Cowboy's nervousing & actoring, and BB5 Diane's parannoying. I can't deal with listening to the queen of the ickies but I have to admire her ninja skills. At one point tonight my feeds were badly out of synch, and it didn't even surprise me to see her working different hamsters in two different rooms at the same time: it's what she does. |
 
Team JockNo vote (HOH) I can't figure out what he's doing and I've offically given up trying. Whether it's staging fights and then acting like they were real (which he's done before Chima, as a reminder) or switching teams & alliances more often than the rest of us change our socks, there's just no telling what he's doing. He probably can't keep track anymore either since according to his blog, he's now put up and out one of his major allies, much like Howie did in BB6. |
   Team Brain Won: Nothing He looked great on paper but his BB expertise was more stats & CBS versions than anything practical - he obviously missed the start of BB10 or he wouldn't have duplicated Brian's suicidal game. He played a dirty game that included a Michele smear campaign, but Natalie did most of the dirty work he took credit for. He exiled himself a couple times, didn't share his HOH camera, talked non-stop (usually about himself), and generated more hate around the BB interwebs than most. |
   Team Offbeat - Won: 1 week banana gig Videos of him & Jessie together surfaced early and their covert partnership ran the house for two weeks, but that deal expired after the Ronnie Mutiny was forgotten and Casey was blamed for Natalie's hinky vote. His quick wit provided memorable one-liners on a daily basis, and they only got better from both Angry Banana and Sad Banana. He came in like an aging Mike Boogie but he got past that, earning lots of fans thanks to his humor, his laid back style, and his ability to not take it all so seriously. |
   Team Popular - Won: Nothing She was the star of the first CBS eps although she was barely in there. Her boobies were a show in themselves, and she protested way too much about the attention they got (usually while thrusting them at anyone handy). Mostly she was a miseryguts, glaring & pouting, and claiming to have everything figured out like BB9 Allison but with Shelley Duvall's voice. Her face-off with Jessie was memorable thanks to 'let me get down to your level', 'you're not the boss of me' and 'thrown under the river'. |
   Team Popular - Won: Nothing His nekkid pics got out before the premiere, he said Julie's a ho, and he started a race riot in there - but his target Kevin wasn't offended by the words as much as that they hadn't been buddies. The habitat went nuts waffling about his eviction vote (vs Chima) but he was barely involved, although he did provide the fodder for her most shocking nominee speech ever. Despite all that, Braden turned out to be a funny hamster and a great third to the Jeff & Jordan comedy team. |
