When we first saw their pics & bios (such a short time ago), who would have put money on the second screaming match being Libra versus Jerry? Not me, but that's how the day startedIt sounds like Jerry told Libra that he heard she'd complained about losing the food comp because "the old man was too old and too slow"
She went ballistic, screaming "I didn't say that!!" to which he countered "You did too!!" Rewind, repeat, and pump up the volume - half of them were still in bed
Then Renny got involved as it became "the two older people".. Libra said "I didn't say you were slow & old!", to which Renny snapped "You better not!!".. Libra wrapped up that portion with "You're starting shit all fucking day!!"
Steven went to comfort a crying Libra later, offering good advice and encouraging her to cry it out - Renny came through and told her stop cryingAlso before noon, Angie & Steven went at it in the pool, to the delight of the assembled onlookers.. yes, Steven is the gay one

The Under/Behind Pillow alliance has a new member.. keep those notes in pencil, folksThe "very, very shy" April informed us that her mortgage is $1,850 including taxes & HOA, and that she likes it doggie style.. We also found out that Renny's real name is Lorenza, and that she's on to Jerry stirring it up with Libra.. she told Keesha "I see what's going on: all that talk yesterday.. when you think the spotlight's on you, you turn it around, that's how you do it in here".. Dan & Steven discussed doing a talk show tonight.. we'll see if that pans out or not - hopefully it will
Steven continued to step it up and/or campaign when he became the first nekkid hamster of the season (that I'm aware of) and also joined the Under/Behind Under/Behind/Between Pillows alliance.. somebody yelled "No one's ever going to use those pillows again"
I am rotten at predicting their behavior, but I did guess he'd be the first nekkie
Big Brother Late Night
The build-up and costume prep took longer than the show itself, and they talked themselves up way too much with the usual "this will be the best thing on Big Brother EVER" as usual, but they pulled off a good show once they got started, and like Sock Puppet Theater, without much individual and no group rehearsal
Michelle, Village Steven, and MC Jerry did the top ten list, Dan hosted, Bertie did a flapper dance, and Memphis Hans did the Gay Antique Show with his assistant Pepe
April Cornhusker told about her true love Ollie Parker, who provided the woe.. relationship expert Dr Shamalamadingdong counseled them, and Honey gave Angela a makeover
We can overlook and/or check the sidebar for more "best BB EVER" crap that followed, along with the group Thumbs Up 7 Up and clappy games.. we can even overlook the old used-condom-in-Keesha's-bed trick
But we can't overlook the fact that this hour of group good fun for fun's sake was thought up and largely orchestrated by Steven.. if he goes on Wednesday as scheduled, we'll have suffered a one-two punch that we won't likely recover from
Spa date
As if that's not enough for one day, most of them played loud & raunchy charades and porn-password for a long time after Big Brother told them to go to bed (early, plus lockdown all evening - I've got $1 on a movie comp tomorrow)Meanwhile, April & Ollie were getting busy in the spa - very busy

News to me today was hearing that Jerry's had a double bypass. Even if he's taken care of himself since (and apparently he has) it seems kind of risky to put him in there, on slop, in the hot day/physical comps, and so forth. But it was his and their decision, so so be it. Ups are for not pulling a Chelsia on us when April & Ollie went at it. I was surprised they let it all through in this new, sanitized, PG-rated season, but they did. It's the first time we've seen hamsters going at it in normal light. I don't even care if they supplied cue cards for the talk show: it worked. |
 
She's still mostly just hanging around and her part in the talk show wasn't the best, but her sudden joke-kiss on Steven was a fun surprise for all - especially the way it turned into something bigger than she may have intended. |
 
Her part in the talk show wasn't the best either, but whether we like it or not, ups are mandatory for a debut sex event. She got awfully chirpy & chattery when they finished, which may make Ollie get a bit skittish eventually - but he probably isn't going to mind much anytime soon. He's still new to this kind of stuff. |
 
NOMINATEDHe spews some surprising stuff but he's mostly wallpaper in there. But he helped come up with the talk show idea and really stepped up as emcee, and did a great job complete with a mascara'd mustache and curly chest hairs. Still, evicting him would be best for all (except him) as we'd have a good chance of getting both Brian & Steven again if/when the revival comes. Most everyone seems to forget Dan's even nominated, including him. |
  
He sure talks a lot about how spry and with-it he is, but he looks like it's all starting to take a toll on him. His part in the morning smackdown was relatively minor but highly meaty, and he sure kicked things off for a banner day on the feeds. Watching a 75-year-old man play Thumbs Up 7 Up was peculiar, but hearing him call the girls 'baby' is becoming disgusting. |
 
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLDHe stepped up surprisingly well as Memphis Hans's assistant Pepe, but I wonder if he knows that's the name of Jerry's deaf little doggie who gets his nails painted and a bow in his hair once a month? Maybe so: Jessie got his nails painted tonight too. I'm not putting any stock into this Jessie/Angie thing unless and/or until I have to.. I think it's all talk for game, and game alone. |
 
She was one of the stars of the talk show as she went to the proper lengths with her character & costume, and she's getting more outspoken all the time. Plus she got a banner today! Unfortunately we may never know what it really said as Jerry & Dan's versions both started with KEESHA but then went in different directions. I think I trust Dan's eyesight more, but that means somebody paid to fly a bikini request. |
 
Wake-up screaming plus post-fight crying are enough for automatic ups any day, but she rebounded nicely and played her Star Jones-ish role well for the talk show. And as a bonus, she's not ordering everyone around anymore. |

Okay, I can deal with the wigs & costumes when they're for a show, and she outfitted all of them and herself beautifully tonight. When we first saw her pics, I thought what a cute smile she has.. tonight was the first time I've seen it on the feeds and it was good to see. It was also good to see her rip right back into Libra when she got dragged into all that, and also good to hear her muttering truths to Keesha about what the fight was all about. |
 
NOMINATEDHe put in more than a full day's work today that included comforting Libra properly, turning Angie's joke into a surprise steamy moment, getting nekkid, throwing out line after memorable line, and campaigning indirectly with most all of them.. very well-played all around. He also came up with the talk show idea and orchestrated most of it, but he didn't stand up to demand credit for having done so after its great success. All this and a cowboy hat too. I don't think Michelle will use the veto tomorrow, but I have a feeling they're going to Revive-a-Hamster after all. Brian or Steven would be a tough choice, primarily since they're such a great act together. |
    He made more of an impact than most who get voted out first and he had the potential to be a fan fave but he over-allied and betrayed too early and had a very negative edit to boot. He was smart, funny, and a good ringleader for the guys - time will tell if they can be as fun without him. Sock Puppet Theater on only the second night of feeds, under his direction, could be the highlight of the season. |
