April's the one they all expect will go.. many feedsters (including me) hope Ivette's got a secret up her sleeve.. we'll all know soon enough
The hair of both nominees is flying, but only one will fly away tonight.. Janelle & Maggie show their roots during primp-a-thon.. Maggie & April finish packing
April: Would you like me to tell James anything?
Maggie: Yes
April: We know he's not gonna vote for you anyway
Maggie: Tell him he's a really mean person, and that's fucking rotten of him, to be honest.. all the things he did to me, that's rotten
Maggie: And he should probably feel bad about it, to be honest
April (sarcastic): It's just a game!
Maggie: I did not do damage to other people in this house on purpose.. I let them do their own damage
Janelle eats a banana and makes male hearts flutter, and stuff.. she says she's disappointed they didn't get the little table to mark their important Final Four milestone and the others agree.. Maggie lies on the counter and they all say HI! to us.. Janelle talks about her boobies and then April does the same.. Ivette's staying noticeably away from them, and staying very quiet

Ivette chooses April to walk the plank to Julie's boudoir and the final HOH competition beginsThey're hanging on to the ever-present keys while standing on a circular disc that rotates at varying speeds, so far pretty slow.. it's another extra-pricey apparatus in a safe dial motif.. Maggie has extra-long pants that aren't going to help her much, and Ivette keeps scratching or wiping her nose.. Janelle was a figure skater and shows promise, but it's early yet.. it's also very quiet, just one comment so far from Maggie "You guys it's an honor to be here with you both".. Janelle & Ivette each agree
The disc goes a bit faster, then slower, and changes direction every 40-60 minutes.. at 2½ hours they're all working hard but Maggie looks weakest with a weird hopping style.. Ivette & Janelle both take off their sweaters.. Maggie tries to get her gloves off but gives up.. she finally takes her hoodie off too.. it's incredibly quiet and incredibly dull
Three hours in and they're all panting & sweating.. this thing is dull to watch as they're mostly silent, but obviously grueling for them.. Janelle's hopping now too, and starting to complain.. she says she's not gonna make it - Ivette says immediately "Come on Janelle, you can do it!".. Maggie joins in the peptalk and says she's got hours left in her.. Janelle keeps complaining and Ivette really steps up and urges her on
Janelle's out at 3 hours 40 minutes and they congratulate her.. Maggie's got a good hoppy-rhythm going now and says "Sorry Ivette, but I'm staying in" Ivette says she is too.. when Janelle goes inside for a drink Maggie & Ivette confirm they'll take each other to the end but both are afraid of skill comp coming up.. they say they'll stay in but they don't want to battle each other, and neither wants to battle Janelle again.. Maggie says "I love you Ivetta".. Ivette responds "I love you too"
Ivette tries to convince Maggie that Janelle will take her (Maggie) to the end if she wins the next part but Maggie doesn't seem to believe it, "doesn't want to hear it" and neither steps off.. Janelle brings out new rules from BB: only one hand from now on until the disc changes direction, then they can switch to the other hand
At 4 hours 10 minutes, Maggie stumbles and comes off, saying "I'm off".. Ivette says "You didn't fall" but Maggie says she did.. they hadn't talked for a few minutes
It's a new car! Oops, nevermind
So Ivette wins part 1 of the final HOH comp and gets whatever's in the third safe as a prize.. the combo is 28-86-70.. a card reads "your prize is in the backyard".. they rush through the house and Janelle says "It's a car!"Unfortunately they have to wait in the kitchen for 20 minutes or more while the yard's set up (see video of the original version below)
Finally they redo the safe opening and the running/squealing through the house, this time they make it out to the yard for the show on Tuesday.. outside are two Vespa scooters, and we find out why they were measured for helmets
Maggie unpacks again and joins Janelle in a shower truce of sorts.. Janelle offers some the Mary Kay body wash her mom sent and later some face cream.. Janelle says she's sore from the comp and Maggie offers to give her a massage later
Janelle: I can't believe how bad I did on that, I suck at endurance
Maggie: You did good.. we just lasted an hour longer
About a half hour longer, not an hour
Maggie & Ivette whisper over bandaiding sore toes.. I don't hear it but many say Maggie tells her now that she stepped off.. they meet later to hug.. later Janelle joins them and Maggie withdraws her massage offer - "not tonight, it's too late now" - Janelle & Ivette chat friendly and compare heights.. Maggie doesn't say much
Maggie (to Ivette): I don't think there's anyone in America that could run for 4 fucking hours
....
Ivette: I just want to make sure that you get rewarded for being such an amazing person
Maggie: I'm always rewarded.. I have Dave, I have a great life
All three chat for awhile in the cot room, friendly, but there's lots of fishies as they talk about home towns, Indians, and whatever else the fishies hide from us.. Ivette & Maggie sleep in separate beds as usual (no more April = no more tickle, yay!) and Janelle sleeps in the pimp room.. they're all exhausted and go right to sleep

   Live show on a Tuesday wasn't much different than its usual Thursday spot: they've just become too repetitive & dull to get worked up over beyond the actual eviction and HOH comp results. There were a few oddities tonight though: why weren't April & Ivette in their nominee chairs when Julie first peeked in? Why did Julie look into the wrong camera when announcing the HOH comp as the Final Three were heading toward the backyard? And why can't Julie ask some real questions on their way out instead of the same old crap that we can all predict the answers to? I would have liked to hear April's response to 'How did you get away with cozying up to whichever side was HOH each week?' or 'How did you & Jenn get away with convincing everyone it wasn't your idea to evict Ivette that week?' They're still too kind to Maggie but at least they showed her sitting there doing & saying nothing while Ivette & April clawed each other to shreds.. some leader! I loved seeing them use Jenn's original replaced pic for the veto comp - they must really hate her. It was good to see Howie in the jury house and I loved that they gave us fans & feedsters his 'welcome to my banishment'.. the tv-only audience had no clue what that was about, it was a special for us - thanks guys! |

   I'd give her ups for winning that brutal comp even if she hadn't earned them with her behavior, which she did. It was wonderful to see her urging Janelle to keep going when she was exhausted and ready to quit, and I'm sure it was sincere. I'm not so sure if Maggie was as sincere or if she was just joining in but she did anyway and I think they both surprised Janelle and kept her going for another 20-30 minutes. I don't know what to make of Ivette picking Maggie over April and we'll probably never know for sure, but it's done now so not much point speculating further. It was a good move for our sanity anyway: the house is already more peaceful with April gone and I think our Final Three will do ok together.. I hate to think of the turmoil April's going to cause in the jury house. |

  I hate to neutralize her when she worked so hard to hang in there but she just couldn't cut it tonight and came off first. Not to worry: she's got another chance against the winner of the next stage and they're both scared of her prowess in skill and both unaware of her knowledge for Q&A. She finally got her Julie HOH interview and did well, and it was good to get to see her enjoy the fruits of the Ivette-April fight. She's chatting up a storm with her two remaining opponents and they like that, even if they're all a little on guard about each other. I have faith she can come back from this and do well but even if not, she's still a winner and the hands down star of the season (and anyway, last year's star came in third and nobody's forgotten her). Janelle will do just fine whatever she does after this. |

  She started the spinning dial looking weakest but ended up strongest: if she hadn't bobbled she might still have been side-trotting in the morning. Her time on the elliptical machine served her well tonight but not so her time listening to April. I have no doubt Ivette was sincere when she said she'd take Maggie to finals if she gave in but now we'll never know cuz Maggie didn't give in and showed a bit of mistrust for her teamie there who likely sacrificed a lot of money tonight by choosing April. I didn't hear her say later that she did step off but her expression said to me she fell and felt like a loser (see today's videos: John_DK at Jokers caught the moment). I heard enough from her though, including her boast that nobody else in America could have done what they did tonight, and her smarmy cliché response to Ivette 'I'm always rewarded' about her wonderful life. She got off clean again on the show tonight, other than being seen sitting there doing absolutely nothing when her supposed minions were ripping each other to shreds, and I thank the editors for that bit of truth even if they omitted the (far) nastier stuff. |

    She ran from side to side every week with angst even though she DID NOT CARE! She tried to get Ivette kicked out & blamed it on Janelle, like everything else: she's most of the reason her fellow crones hate Janelle so much. She brought Gladys Kravitz into the house, picked her nose, freaked out regularly, lied & cussed up a storm, but thanks to her we got Howie's Busto rant. |

   Pure fun & entertainment, he gave us boobies, his jack shack, the Busto rant, and so much more. His friendliness & charm outweigh his explicit mouth & harassing ways and most everyone loved him in the end. He brought the Force into the house and inspired Jedi Janey to carry on. Never mind his looks, build, and future economic potential: his best trait is just being Howie. |

   As BB's double token he danced, he flashed, he puked and rode Ivette's jetstream. Not as fabulous as promised, and it doesn't seem right that he knows so many people that Janelle & Howie do, not to mention he's pals with BB2 Hardy. I thought he'd be this year's Cowboy at #2 but he won an HOH so he's gone. |

   He played a good game, saved himself too many times, and played both sides against each other instead of for himself. He wasn't a very nice boyfriend, and he was mostly dull with an excuse for everything. Arrogance was his undoing. |

   Half of the oddest pairing since Oscar & Felix, she did her best but went to bed too early to make it all happen. She's not the most fun hamster by a long shot, but she's one of the most decent and I wish her well. |

   She wanted to 'stir up the house like Kaysar did' but instead she stirred up everyone with a whopper of a lie to America's Choice, and she took out his partner with a huge lie of omission. So long Jenn and remember, roses really smell like poo poo. |

   America's Choice by 82% (at least) but he was out 4th and 6th. He turned the game on its ear, took out an emperor, and fell for Janelle overnights but was taken out by the cheerleader who took out his partner because she cried. He's a class act and did it all with brains, humor and integrity. |

   She was too young & too naive to be in there but held up well considering she played with the boyfriend from hell. I'm glad she got out early and alive. |

   Maybe the poorest loser in BB history but he gave us the best fight sequence. He said it nonstop but he never understood that 'it's just a game'. |

   Not blameless but not the villain they made him out to be either. He had funny voices, 'The Continental' and Janelle - plus the best hoax of the season. |

   There's never much to say about the first out except they're gone. She blabbed too much so she wouldn't have lasted long but she was fun while she was there. |
