Watch Big Brother 13 on SuperPass! Daily Hamsterwatch
I don't care who wins, I'm just here for the cheap entertainment.. the cheaper, the better
This site is about the Big Brother 13 feeds and contains spoilers! It isn't necessarily thorough: it's what I catch and/or what interests me, and it isn't necessarily about who will win, who should win, who's cute or who's horrid. It's about watching hamsters: who's doing what and why. If they aren't entertaining, get rid of 'em! Thanks for encouraging my behavior. Your pal, dingo

FAQ
Brendon was revived a week after eviction after apparently beating the other three evictees to date in a CBS poll, and beating August 11 evictee Lawon in a live ball-chute comp.

They called Adam's elf Cruddy and his beardless look Phillip.

Brendon's knees got messed up from the food comp with the ant costumes.

They called Dominic PT for pre-teen, a running gag about how young he looks, and/or part-time, referring to his modeling career.

Nominations & veto were pairs-based until there were 10 left.

The evictee's surviving partner got one of four Golden Keys, meaning they couldn't be nominated or play for HOH until there were 10 left.

Dick left mysteriously, off the feeds, due to 'personal reasons' per him and CBS. We may never know the full story.

CBS shows air Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm

Big Brother After Dark airs 1-4am Thursdays and 12-3am other nights, on Showtime in USA and Global Reality in Canada

BB13 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. The BB veterans might get more.

The habitat has 52 cameras and 95 microphones.

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

Paranoia will destroy ya

Jeff & Jordan moved out of HOH and back in with the citizens, after a typically silent HOH lockdown/bodycount.. how much Jorff do or don't know about everything going on is debatable, and the same goes for the forgotten nominee Kalia, but they all seem to have an inkling that something's up

After all of last night's frenzy, Rachel seems unconfirmed as to whether she'll vote to evict Daniele or not, which potentially could leave Shelly out on a limb, but she's pretty good at not getting stuck there.. 5pm today was the decision "deadline" at one point, so we'll see what happens as the day unfolds between the trivia - we may have to wait for Julie to give us the news, which is always fun, and would be a first this season

0

Fast Forward and fallout

After blocking us from some fireworks this afternoon (thanks a bunch!), the double eviction production nightmare got underway with some last minute editing from last night's near-flip, but it all turned out to be just another waffle after all, and Daniele walked the plank after a scorcher of a speech that put her on my Extracurricular Tally.. Jordan was already fighting back tears going in to the HOH comp from Daniele's speech and Shelly's betrayal, and Kalia won it.. she nominated Jeff & Rachel

They went right into the veto comp, which was a race to dig clown shoes out of ball bins.. Jordan sat that one out, being the 7th hamster - we can assume they drew names during a commercial break, of which there were entirely too many.. Jeff threw one of his target shoes out of his bin early on, and Porsche won the veto.. she didn't use it, and Jeff was evicted on Daniele's vapor trail.. his sit-down with Julie was a little bitter, to say the least

The feeds came back to Jordan & Shelly yelling at each other - flashback 8/25 7.05pm, Jordan cussing up a storm (unusual), and crying with Rachel - this time it was Rachel's turn to babysit, but she joined in some of the misery too

The stolen toys issue came up again when Rachel finally confronted Shelly about her missing dog.. Shelly said she didn't have it (which is technically true, probably), and all three of the thieves' faces went dead blank as Rachel asked them about her dog and Brendon's duck - flashback 8/25 7.36pm for that one.. Kalia got her basket & letter from her boyfriend for her short reign, and then they held their second HOH comp behind trivia, and Porsche won again - I think it was the ball rolling thingy that she did so well on in practice.. Rachel & Jordan started moaning again, saying they wanted to quit and the like, but they finally settled down and realized they're still there after all, as they packed up Jeff's things

The evening dragged on with the various factions in their separate corners.. Porsche's HOH room finally came with a Rihanna CD, a letter from her little brother, no new tracksuits, and a little stuffed dog - uh oh.. Rachel & Jordan had muttered "no" when Porsche shouted the required "Who wants to see my HOH room?" but they went up anyway, looked miserable for the reading, and they left quickly.. Jordan started crying again downstairs, saying she'd genuinely liked Shelly and she just wants to go home now

Porsche & Kalia had a very late and very long planning talk with M&Ms.. things could change, but for now the plan is Porsche will put up Adam as a pawn (again) along with Rachel as the target.. if Rachel should win the veto, Jordan will go up and out - I don't know if they've considered the possibility of Jordan winning veto and taking Rachel off

Ratings - Double Trouble edition

Ratings are based on entertainment value
VTE = Voted to evict

They deserve solid ups for packing that much of a live show into one hour, especially with edits from last night/early this morning thrown in that they could have skipped (and normally would have), not to mention the logistical problems of two comps and two evictions, but they pulled it off well, albeit with way too many commercial breaks. However, blocking us from the fights that happened before the show was not right and they know it. They usually come back between rehearsal and the start of the show for primping and any last minute campaigning, etc. even though it rarely happens. But whatever did happen today is what we watch the feeds for and what we pay for, and they not only blocked us, but Allison Grodner (or her minions) sending out teaser tweets about what we were missing was just wrong. My favorite part of the show itself was Julie's disembodied head on the living room monitor talking to an empty living room, calling for them to return.

Paired with Dominic - GOLDEN KEY
Won: One week elf suit
#1 VTE Daniele
#2 VTE Rachel
I hate to give the guy a negative when he's been such a loyal supporter of mine, but I'm sure he didn't think much of this site some days either. In a day full of drama and action, he just didn't bring much to the table. That's okay: his game seems to be laying low and getting by, which he's doing just fine, but making pizza and burning a few cookies just doesn't compare to the stellar hamster behavior around him today.

Paired with Jeff
Won: One week catsuit + tutu
#1 VTE Daniele
#2 VTE Rachel
Drama is what we've been waiting for and it arrived in the form of Jordan cussing up a storm, which I never saw coming. She was a mess during the show and she was beating herself up afterwards for losing the Before & After, and it was hard to see the normally chirpy girl be so low. But it was funny that Rachel was the one who had to talk her down rather than the usual vice versa, and funnier still when Rachel succumbed to the grief and sunk down with her. If you're drowning in quicksand, you can count on Rachel to jump in to save you rather than throw you a rope.

Paired with Lawon
Won: Caribbean trip
#1 No vote (nominee)
#2 Head of Household
#2 VTE Jeff (HOH tiebreaker)
Ups for winning a pivotal comp under pressure when most had written her off as a nothing. And she came through this hellish night pretty clean, which is surprising since she ended up evicting Big Jeff: he won't forget her nomination or tiebreaker vote, but chances are pretty good that many will. That's the advantage of this quickie HOH: they don't hole up there all week holding endless meetings, repeating endless strategy loops, and making endless deals and/or threats. Instead, Jeff simply vanished and it'll be a hazy memory for many about how that happened. That doesn't mean I'm looking forward to listening to her tomorrow, but for now it's all good.

Paired with Keith - GOLDEN KEY
#1 VTE Kalia
#2 Won veto/didn't use
#2 VTE Jeff
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
Big ups for winning not one but two key physical comps, especially after a week on slop and eggs! Like Kalia, most of them in there and out here didn't think she was capable of much, but she has had a lot of near misses in recent comps so she was due. I was surprised she didn't get more clothes with her HOH goodies but they supply the first set of care packages pretty early, and they might not have fit by now anyway. Hey, that's not a slam: she's got a lot of clothes in there now.. those velour suits are just extra comfy.

Paired with Brendon
#1 VTE Daniele
#2 No vote (nominee)
To her credit, she's laid low, behaved, and not been drama for almost two weeks now even as the entire habitat was bashing her behind her back, so she was due. You can count on Rachel to comfort Jordan by reminding her that her boyfriend was evicted too, and then reminding her what fun they'll have in the jury house when they get there. Um, Jordan's never been to the jury house and probably wasn't planning on going there this year, but that's our Rachel. It's a funny turn of events that a whole lot of fans are now rooting for her, and wondering how that happened.

Paired with Cassi - GOLDEN KEY
Won: 24 hours solitary, phone call
#1 VTE Kalia
#2 VTE Jeff
Yes, she broke Jordan's heart tonight but she didn't evict her and I'm not sure how Shelly doing what's best for her is cause to call for her head on a platter or demanding Josie be put in foster care.. seriously folks, it's just a TV show. Anyway Shelly's been walking this path for four days and few had much of a problem with it then. I hand it to her for stirring things up to bring the explosions we wanted, and I have a feeling Shelly will patch things up with Jordan real soon.. it's what she does, and I believe she truly does care for Jordan. That doesn't mean she should have laid down and given her & Jeff the win: Shelly's playing Big Brother the way it's meant to be played, and it's a harsh reality I guess when people realize it's not Go Fish they're playing in there.

Paired with Jordan
Won: $15k
His sense of entitlement to be there and win was as strong as the other vets, but it didn't work out for him this time either. He went out on a bitter note but he gave us his share of funny one-liners while he lasted, especially when he was losing. He had issues with Dumbledore, was a formidable opponent for the new grill and for Adam & Shelly's cigarette supplies, he won all the cash to date, and he'll probably get yet another CBS show after this.

Paired with Dick - GOLDEN KEY/TICKET
Won/used: Veto ticket
She looked & acted different this time, especially when she joked & laughed which was great to see, but she failed at her former specialty of winning vetos and she went back to whining when on the block and on slop. Like all the vets, she had a sense of entitlement but she turned on them too soon, got Dominic booted, and later evicted her teamie Lawon. She was 'literally' almost saved at the 11th hour, but it didn't work out.

Paired with Rachel
Won: 1 week revival
His return was twice unwelcome, especially now that he's had a year to suck the life and Vegas out of Rachel. This time he wore superhero suits, used not-funny voices, lost a toy turtle, lectured everyone, and had big goofy smiles for Big Booty & Porsche's striptease. He had a pathetic sense of entitlement and made a giant stink about Rachel calling him Buki.

Paired with Kalia
Won: nothing
My favorite hamster in years, he came out with his best stuff late nights so many missed it, but he gave great Diary, wore kooky outfits and officiated at the trashbag wedding with tremendous style & flair. He caught flak for pawning himself out the door but his teamies encouraged it and put him up, so it's not all on him. He was Lawonderful with a fantastic laugh and he'll be missed.

Paired with Adam
Won: nothing
He was the first casualty of Daniele's too hard/too fast strategy but he didn't help himself by not brushing up more on how BB works. He told a lot of pointless lies about his modeling, schooling, virginity and then fessed up to them, which might have come back to bite him anyway. His adolescent jokes & behavior did nothing for me.

Paired with Shelly
Won: nothing
She started off okay and had Dominic in her pocket, but Shelly befriended her so well that when they were both nominated, Cassi just laid down and died. She complained a lot, failed to fulfill her catfight potential, and was the third model in a row to be booted out second. She had the best Mirror-Face since BB5/7 Jase.

Paired with Porsche
Won: nothing
He claimed to be a fan since BB1 but even watching only CBS, he clearly wasn't paying attention: who throws a veto comp when they're on the block? He went in with a clearly outlined womanizing strategy which failed miserably, he set off another BB Weinergate, and he panicked himself right out the door.

Paired with Daniele
Won: nothing
We haven't had a premiere night no-show since BB9 Jacob, and we haven't had a mysterious early exit since BB9 Neil. These pairs twist seasons just seem to complicate things for production. No real word yet on why Dick's gone (and there may never be) but he sure was looking rough in the premiere.
