Brendon was revived a week after eviction after apparently beating the other three evictees to date in a CBS poll, and beating August 11 evictee Lawon in a live ball-chute comp.

They called Adam's elf Cruddy and his beardless look Phillip.

Brendon's knees got messed up from the food comp with the ant costumes.

They called Dominic PT for pre-teen, a running gag about how young he looks, and/or part-time, referring to his modeling career.

Nominations & veto were pairs-based until there were 10 left.

The evictee's surviving partner got one of four Golden Keys, meaning they couldn't be nominated or play for HOH until there were 10 left.

Dick left mysteriously, off the feeds, due to 'personal reasons' per him and CBS. We may never know the full story.

CBS shows air Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm

Big Brother After Dark airs 1-4am Thursdays and 12-3am other nights, on Showtime in USA and Global Reality in Canada

BB13 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. The BB veterans might get more.

The habitat has 52 cameras and 95 microphones.

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

Hot doggin' it (Tuesday)

It was yet another day with a lot of premature game & vote whispering and not much else, so little that I'm doing my first three-fer episode this season, but they revved up for Showtime again like they used to do in the past - maybe ratings are slipping there too.. tonight we had a hot dog eating contest between Adam & Brendon, carried out with much preparation and aplomb

Adam won it by a mile, using the tried and true Coney Island water-dipping style, and he swallowed his raw egg at the end with no problem.. no word yet as to what Brendon's excuse for losing was, but I'm sure he'll think of one.. flashback 8/14 9.30pm

In other news, Kalia was threatened with a penalty nom for her excessive and repeated singing violations, Jordan was awake and heard Rachel & Brendon's latest sex event last night, and Brendon went ballistic on Rachel again for speaking game without his permission - this time with Daniele.. flashback 8/16 10.28pm for this one, it's a doozy.. when Rachel was called to Diary, she almost ran into Porsche at the door - perhaps she was listening in too

This fight was different than most of their recent go-rounds since it included a pinky-swear, and since Rachel had been drinking and actually stood up to him this time, and for that, it was a joy to behold.. I'm starting to think the reason Brendon doesn't like her drinking isn't so much because it makes her Vegas comes out, but because it's a lot harder for him to beat her down when she's a little sippy.. but aside from playing armchair psychologist and regardless of the various layers of their oh so twisted relationship, I was cheering her on this time in a big way.. it didn't end differently though: they added another notch to their sex events tally at bedtime

Deja vu all over again (Monday)

I turned on the feeds to the HB4 (Has-beens 4) holding a meeting in the hammock before the veto meeting, talking about all the others as if they're still a team.. not long after that, MSNBC popped up on F2 for a minute or two - that was random, and became #19 on their goofs tally

Adam dressed up in his Monday best and checked off another item on his Big Brother to-do list: he veto'd himself off the block, and Daniele put up Brendon, again.. feeds came back to Rachel crying, Brendon lecturing her, and slurpydurp - but he also used Shelly's language, that Rachel shouldn't be so dependent on him, so maybe that's something? At least it shows he heard that, and maybe Rachel will too hearing it from two different sources

In another here-we-go-again, Jeff held a knife up to Jordan for a second, kind of somewhat similar to BB2 Justin & Krista and Justin was kicked out for it.. Jeff was joking, and he & Jordan kissed before and after (rare enough on its own), but so did Justin & Krista - flashback 8/15 6.36pm and make of it what you will, or not.. I'm not judging either event here, just putting it out there - it's what I do

In other news, there wasn't much: I don't think there was any fallout at all from last night's condom prank.. Porsche finally gave up her double bed to Rachel & Brendon.. Adam dropped a weight and broke a glass in the astroturf, causing a lockdown for cleanup, and Daniele painted some corn kernels.. yep, that was it today

The Showtime show was Rachel & Brendon eating cinnamon and gakking - flashback 8/15 10.07pm.. Adam stayed in character as Phillip for a long time which was fun, especially after he & Shelly got a bit snappy with each other earlier.. Porsche's new persona is Elizabeth - not as fun as Phillip, but the two of them did a first date routine that was funny - flashback 8/15 11.13pm.. Brendon & Rachel put another sex event on the tally, Porsche hunted through her bedding for the condom to no avail, Jeff & Adam had a long late night game talk in the backyard, and we're one day closer to Thursday

Ring-a-ling (Sunday)

Shelly was sprung from solitary a few hours early, as usual - she thanked her visitors Jordan, Daniele & Porsche, and she got her phone call.. she was thrilled telling them about it: Tony said she's doing great and cheered her on, and Josie was trying to be tough but screamed that she got the teacher she wanted - awww

Prior to that, Brendon & Rachel apparently figured Adam's worthy of talking game to now that he's won a veto, so they browbeat him for an hour or so trying to get a commitment that didn't come.. when he finally walked away, Brendon & Rachel had another of their go-rounds with him telling her she's too emotional and is screwing them up, and making her lay in his lap to hide her tears when they finally came.. later he told her how to sit on the outside sofa and after that, Shelly used the term "domestic abuse relationship" to him, explaining the abuse/apology cycle but putting it on her with the rest of them (possibly using Shellyspeak, in my opinion), and adding "this is not that" while pointing out how dependent she is on him

Showtime brought another very, very long meeting between Rachel, Brendon & Daniele.. they droned on and on and on repetitiously with their same spiel: basically that they deserve to be there and nobody else does.. no deals were made and nothing was resolved.. afterward Rachel started cooking up some queso dip with Brendon hovering over her lecturing, correcting and supervising.. he reached in to take over serving and he spilled a whole bunch on the counter - it was very funny, but then it became her fault for making too much.. flashback 8/14 11.06pm

Around the time Sunday's show was wrapping up for some and starting for others, Porsche grabbed the Muscle Milk from atop the fridge and walked it to the trash in the pantry.. then she went to visit Daniele and said she's a "bad babysitter" because Porsche had gotten in trouble "by Production" - flashback 8/14 5.55pm

There were lots of palms through this of course, but she went on to say "I just feel bad that they thought I was tainting Jordan's drink" and how she'd done it as a prank "for America".. she also said she'd stolen Brendon's duck, but he was given a replacement during his week vacation in sequester.. we already know she steals from the booze delivery sometimes

As I recall, when BB2 Shannon was caught using Hardy's toothbrush on the toilet, she was forced to fess up.. I guess things have changed, as apparently Porsche just had to toss her handiwork into the garbage

Ratings - Fake Used Condom in the Bed Trick edition

Ratings are still Sunday's, mostly based on entertainment value. I'm tired, and not much has changed anyway. Title refers to a bedtime prank attempted on Adam but he never noticed it, so we had yet another prankfail. However, Rachel serviced Brendon a little while earlier in the bed next to Adam's (and next to a sleeping Shelly!) so morning might be interesting.

It's interesting they dug up that old clip of Shelly asking Brendon & Rachel about an F3 arrangement because I think they overlooked it at the time - Twitter and sites like this are doing all their work for them lately. But The Powers That Be should know better than some out here that a 'would you consider' pitch is not at all the same thing as a pinky-swear. Ditto with Porsche's tampering: they didn't do anything about it until a frenzy whipped up out here due to postings about it on this and other sites. I'm glad they busted her for it but I wonder why it took so long, and why they didn't make her fess up to the others. I kind of thought it might be them playing favorites with Daniele, but they keep letting her evict teamies so that can't be it.
Paired with Dominic - GOLDEN KEY Won: One week elf suit USED VETO At least four mentions of me today is overkill even if I say so myself. This morning he said I should urge voting for him for the $25k favorite prize, which I may or may not do when the time comes, and they guessed me (well, Mungo) when it was his turn to think of a celebrity. But my hands-down favorite so far all season was 8/14 8.37pm F1 when he and Jeff mimed Hamsterwatch.com, followed up a few minutes later by Daniele accusing Adam of being me lol!	Paired with Rachel Won: Revival NOMINATED It was quite a day for the boyfriend from hell. For more of his peculiar style of 'love', flashback 7/19 12.32pm and think of this quote by him as you watch: 'I'd rather be loyal and go down with my pride than go down being a manipulator.'
Paired with Dick - GOLDEN KEY/TICKET Won: Veto ticket HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD Courtesy ups for having to sit through that hour-long harangue by the Gruesome Twosome© and for doing it without projectile vomiting in their faces.. well done. I still don't know what she's going to do tomorrow but I hope it's The Right Thing.	Paired with Jordan Won: $15k See Adam, with a bonus for calling out Kalia's faulty BB info at bedtime. She said BB9 was 'to try it twice a year' and he said he thought it was due to a writers' strike. She sputtered something, and he said 'Then why'd you make up a reason?' It's about time somebody shut her down, just once.
Paired with Jeff Won: One week catsuit + tutu She's still in her suit, still loving it, and still looking as cute as can be, but she didn't do much today that I saw other than rummaging through the two refrigerators. Last minute upgrade for her rendition of BB11 Casey's Sad Banana song - flashback 8/15 2.54am.	Paired with Lawon Won: Caribbean trip I got nothing, except she did wipe one tear hearing about Shelly's phone call.
Paired with Keith - GOLDEN KEY She had to toss out her Muscle Milk project and she seemed a little pouty about it, saying she'd done it for us. I commend the effort but I'm pretty sure she should have chosen a different method to entertain us. When she's not thieving or tampering with their food, she's barely there and I'm about ready to return to posting Daily Porsche Sightings.	Paired with Brendon Sympathy ups for having had the misfortune to fall for the boyfriend from hell. She finally snapped at him this afternoon when he told her she was sitting wrong but then she went right back to puppy-dogging after him, getting berated and lectured with her tail between her legs. Remember when she was the loud girl, the laughing girl, waving her dress over head and shouting 'I am Vegas'? That girl's just a faint distant memory now, thanks to Buki.
Paired with Cassi - GOLDEN KEY Won: 24 hours solitary, phone call NOMINATED Her rotten day is behind her and so is her solitary confinement, and she's coming back to herself in large part due to her phone call. It was great hearing her tell about it and I look forward to seeing Tony & Josie on Wednesday's show. She's not cleaning so much anymore but I'm hoping for a return to Shellyspeak soon. I also hope she lays low for a bit so they don't get her gone this week.	Paired with Kalia Won: nothing My favorite hamster in years, he came out with his best stuff late nights so many missed it, but he gave great Diary, wore kooky outfits and officiated at the trashbag wedding with tremendous style & flair. He caught flak for pawning himself out the door but his teamies encouraged it and put him up, so it's not all on him. He was Lawonderful with a fantastic laugh and he'll be missed.
Paired with Adam Won: nothing He was the first casualty of Daniele's too hard/too fast strategy but he didn't help himself by not brushing up more on how BB works. He told a lot of pointless lies about his modeling, schooling, virginity and then fessed up to them, which might have come back to bite him anyway. His adolescent jokes & behavior did nothing for me.	Paired with Shelly Won: nothing She started off okay and had Dominic in her pocket, but Shelly befriended her so well that when they were both nominated, Cassi just laid down and died. She complained a lot, failed to fulfill her catfight potential, and was the third model in a row to be booted out second. She had the best Mirror-Face since BB5/7 Jase.
Paired with Porsche Won: nothing He claimed to be a fan since BB1 but even watching only CBS, he clearly wasn't paying attention: who throws a veto comp when they're on the block? He went in with a clearly outlined womanizing strategy which failed miserably, he set off another BB Weinergate, and he panicked himself right out the door.	Paired with Daniele Won: nothing We haven't had a premiere night no-show since BB9 Jacob, and we haven't had a mysterious early exit since BB9 Neil. These pairs twist seasons just seem to complicate things for production. No real word yet on why Dick's gone (and there may never be) but he sure was looking rough in the premiere.
