Brendon's knees got messed up from the food comp with the ant costumes.

They call Dominic PT for pre-teen, a running gag about how young he looks, and/or part-time, referring to his modeling career.

Nominations & veto were pairs-based until there were 10 left.

The evictee's surviving partner got one of four Golden Keys, meaning they couldn't be nominated or play for HOH until there were 10 left.

Dick left mysteriously, off the feeds, due to 'personal reasons' per him and CBS. We may never know the full story.

CBS shows air Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, and live eviction Thursdays at 9pm

Big Brother After Dark airs 1-4am Thursdays and 12-3am other nights, on Showtime in USA and Global Reality in Canada

BB13 prizes are the same: $500k for the winner and $50k for 2nd place. The others still earn $750 a week including pre-show hotel and jury sequester. The BB veterans might get more.

The habitat has 52 cameras and 95 microphones.

The recorded Big Brother in-house announcements are the voice of producer Don Wollman.

All feeds stay on one 'scene' when someone's in Diary.

More of the same (Saturday)

They had their veto comp: Lawon hosted Daniele, Rachel and Brendon, plus Jeff, Porsche and Adam.. we predicted those three would play in my chatroom last night - not sure if that makes us psychics or cynics, maybe a bit of each

Brendon won the veto - apparently Jeff came close.. it involved puzzle pieces, words and/or spelling, time guesses, and Jeff fell off something.. things could get interesting again, since Daniele has deals with Adam, Shelly, Jorff and probably others, although Jordan half offered herself last night if necessary.. also, Brendon told Rachel after they were nominated that he'd take her off if he won but now that he has, he sounds like he's changing that and might sacrifice himself.. also, if we end up with a revolving door immediate Revive-a-Hamster situation with Rachel or Brendon coming right back in, Daniele is likely to go ballistic à la Chima, and with the same good reason

Once again, we had a potentially volatile situation but they all disappointed spectacularly: even with a Showtime booze delivery, they all got loud but they didn't get violent or even hostile.. Daniele finally talked to Rachel alone and apologized for the situation and whatever was said at the comp, reminded her that they'll get along once this is over like ex-hamsters do, "it's not personal" etc - Rachel wasn't buying it, but later both of their re-tells escalated it to a much nastier conversation than it was at the time, particularly Rachel, who said Daniele is "a mean girl"

Before that, Kalia talked nonstop forever about Kalia, without taking a breath.. Daniele gets major props from me for finally telling her to go be sociable when the booze arrived, and that "focusing on the negative all the time comes off bad" - lessons learned from BB8, and proof that Daniele 2.0 has grown up

Daniele did get a little droopy later after a long Diary, and told Kalia "the DR's a buzzkill".. just a guess on my part, but maybe they're pushing for a revival of Operation Backdoor Jeff so they can have Revive-a-Jeff next week instead of Rachel or Brendon? We may never know but it's something to think about, and watch for clues

Another stinky delivery (Friday)

They got a hefty delivery of artfully arranged sardines and seaweed for the sloppers, and as usual when they get seafood, they spent quite awhile cleaning up the mess and throwing away a lot of it.. the pantry was stocked with a lot of edible S&S products but it looked like BB gathered up the display seaweed right off the beach, and it had bugs

Daniele held her meetings and made this week/next week safety deals with Jeff & Jordan, and with Adam, who finally got his elf suit (complete with bells and plastic ears) - he asked that she doesn't leave his key till last as he hasn't had a chance to turn a noms box key yet.. when Brendon & Rachel's turn came, Rachel asked if Daniele was willing to make a deal? Daniele said she wasn't really making any deals - and then she nominated them as planned

Rachel & Brendon had a cryfest for a couple hours afterward, but neither started any fireworks, even after Rachel's two weeks of slop ended at midnight (meaning booze).. Kalia continues to yap non-stop and parannoy for no reason.. Shelly continues to pick up on subtleties here and plant seeds with them there.. Daniele stayed isolated in HOH a lot and was cushioned by Lawon & Kalia when she did come down.. Adam has taken to his elf suit well and breaks into spontaneous little elf dances a lot.. Lawon wore the HOH robe all day, adding his 'fro and a tie along with his knee socks and orange Crocs for evening attire

Ratings - You Look Mahvelous edition

Ratings are Saturday's, based on entertainment value, and can stand, but with short updates for Adam & Kalia, a short update plus upgrade for Shelly, and an upgrade for Daniele for the above, even though she didn't start or participate in any fights.

They got the stinky buggy seaweed and open & loose sardines displayed properly, plus Adam's elf suit finally arrived, so they've got their money shots for Sunday's show and that's all that matters. It is what it is.
Paired with Dominic - GOLDEN KEY Won: One week elf suit Sticking someone in a costume is a staple of our summers and it's usually the 'character' wearing it if it's a silly suit, so things are on schedule here. Adam embraced his inner elf and is clearly learning his role. The little silver slipper-shoes and bells are a nice touch. Update: I just realized he never made a stink about having gotten a brass key instead of a golden one - imagine if say, Brendon had gotten the fourth one.	Paired with Rachel NOMINATED - HOLDS VETO Brendon's sense of entitlement in this game is ridiculous. His coddling of Rachel is almost as bad as his lecturing her but once again, that's between them. He better get gone this week or he'll be getting an empty wheel here before his time.
Paired with Shelly She started off okay and had Dominic in her pocket, but Shelly befriended her so well that when they were both nominated, Cassi just laid down and died. She complained a lot, failed to fulfill her catfight potential, and was the third model in a row to be booted out second. She had the best Mirror-Face since BB5/7 Jase.	Paired with Dick - GOLDEN KEY/TICKET HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD She was great at her pre-noms meetings especially when Rachel & Brendon came around to grovel, but then she hid out upstairs after nominating them with a scorching speech, by all accounts. Good move for her to avoid the confrontation that would have come had she faced them afterward, but bad for us.
Paired with Daniele We haven't had a premiere night no-show since BB9 Jacob, and we haven't had a mysterious early exit since BB9 Neil. These pairs twist seasons just seem to complicate things for production. No real word yet on why Dick's gone (and there may never be) but he sure was looking rough in the premiere.	Paired with Adam He was the first casualty of Daniele's too hard/too fast strategy but he didn't help himself by not brushing up more on how BB works. He told a lot of pointless lies about his modeling, schooling, virginity and then fessed up to them, which might have come back to bite him anyway. His adolescent jokes and behavior did nothing for me.
Paired with Jordan Won $10k Despite way too much zit popping, blackhead picking and romantic fart chat, he gets easy ups for Friday's Line of the Day 'Porsche's going banana pancakes downstairs'.	Paired with Jeff The TMI queen's reign carries on unchecked to the point that Diary asked her all about her farts. She came out mortified, saying America's going to think she's disgusting. Well Jordo, you didn't have to answer them, did you?
Paired with Lawon At least when she's eating, she stops talking for awhile. Update: I'm starting to think she's using them (and us) as victims/witnesses for some sort of do-it-yourself psychoanalysis.	Paired with Porsche He claimed to be a fan since BB1 but even watching only CBS, he clearly wasn't paying attention: who throws a veto comp when they're on the block? He went in with a clearly outlined womanizing strategy which failed miserably, he set off another BB Weinergate, and he panicked himself right out the door.
Paired with Kalia In one of his pre-season interviews he said his fashion sense was going to be 'buck wild, WILD!' I'm glad at least one of them lives up to their self-hype - none of the others have.	Paired with Keith - GOLDEN KEY She's like still there? And she like gets around a lot but I can't really like follow her too well?
Paired with Brendon NOMINATED She failed miserably to deliver what should have been a spectacular day and night but instead was a big fat dud.	Paired with Cassi - GOLDEN KEY I don't have to listen to her much to know she's still on the job and winning. She owns them all. Update: She scored extra points for bringing up Anthony Weiner's Weinergate during Sunday night political chat - in front of Rachel & Brendon! Twice!

Julie said she'll tell us next Thursday how we can "play a role in the next game-changing twist" which smells like a Revive-a-Hamster vote to me - they usually introduce polls on other days otherwise. So whoever goes this week might have the chance (and reality) of coming right back in again.

It's almost a certainty that Keith, Cassi & Dominic have been sequestered for possible future revival twistage.. we'll know soon enough.

Everything you need to know about getting the feeds on your Android or iPad/iPhone is in the forum. Like SuperPass subscriptions, adding mobile access through me will help me keep the site going this summer.

You can add mobile access at the same you sign up for SuperPass. If you already have your SuperPass and want to add mobile access, click the same link or the banner atop this page from your mobile device browser, sign in, then click the Live Feeds tab. It'll know you're coming in via mobile and ask you to sign up for the add-on access.

The Android app is out and available to download from Android Market. You need Android 2.2 or higher, Flash, an active SuperPass subscription, plus additional mobile access fee. Some people aren't able to use it yet but they are aware of the issues and are working to fix them up.

For iPhone and iPad, go to the SuperPass page to view the feeds using Safari browser in your device. You need iOS4 or higher.
