Downs are here to stay unless/until they remove the ban on BBViewer. That's probably corporate's doing and not a BB decision, but we still lose no matter what the cause. Especially since a lot of staffers use BBViewer themselves. This show is not like any other and should get a little consideration. If the downs weren't permanent, I'd upgrade them to neutral for putting the veto endurance on feeds. That was unexpected and deserves praise, even though they cut us in however long after the comp started. Realistically, the reasoning was probably so we got more movie promo in our faces, but it was also good they brought back not overly-heavy swords/sticks like the ones they used last year. It's still not the Pressure Cooker comp no matter how much they try to rebrand it. PS Find Barrett's laundry from last week and give it back to him.
Won: Movie guest HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0/0 - HN 3   Barrett Pfeiffer - 27 28 Bluesky - Instagram - TikTok - Our Reality podcast Single - fan applicant, feedster Jumbotron engineer Austin, TX (orig Benton, AR) He stood on a single spot in a garage set for 12 hours or so to earn his safety after losing allies on all sides. He folded himself in half for the last hour or so to ease his back spasms, while being on slop, after multiple days of isolation and depression. Granted, that isolation contributed to the turnaround that put him on the outs, as he should have been keeping an eye on his friends and enemies, but it is what it is. After all that, he failed to earn his safety. Why did he go through all that, you ask? Because he's a fan and a feedster, he knows he's in there representing us, and he wasn't about to give up.	Won: Time Capsule 3: BB Bribe, paid to Yash HOH 2 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0/0 - HN 2   Dianelys "Dee" Valladares - 29 Instagram - TikTok Single - Survivor and Challenge vet Travel influencer - Miami, FL Boo hoo, she misses Barrett's friendship, whose isolation was a direct result of her attacking and shunning him, as she acted like a spoiled child who's unable to take what she happily dishes out. Boo hoo, she misses Angela whose exit she orchestrated instead of her own. She went about four hours in the comp, and she went off to bed for most of it because why be uncomfortable? She's safe this week no matter what. And she keeps saying various people are 'going to regret this for the rest of their life' if they move against her, while she moves against anyone who breathes in her direction. And she laughs about it, while she chants 'it's a game' like a religious mantra. It's all very effective (combined with her production advantages) and it's kept her here past her expiration date, but it's not cute. It's ill-mannered, rude, distasteful, and just plain nasty.
Won: Time Capsule 2: Diamond veto; Weeks 8, 9 Block Buster; Movie guest HOH 1 - Veto 1 - Noms 1/1/0 - HN 3   Rick Devens - 42 Twitter - Bluesky - Instagram Married, 2 kids - Survivor vet News anchor (formerly, now college comms director) Macon, GA He's been sick for a week, he took a few hard falls in the HOH comp, he's on slop, he's safe thanks to the dumb extended bribe terms and didn't need the win, but he still stood there around nine hours. Impressive. And then he adopted the Felicia-watching-Pressure-Cooker-from-the-sofa-while-snacking pose after he came inside? Easiest ups I've ever given.	Won: Weeks 4, 7 Block Buster; Time Capsule 6: Never-not Pass; Movie screening HOH 1 - Veto 1 - Noms 3/0/0 - HN 2   Drew Campbell - 22 Instagram - TikTok Single - fan applicant Surgical dental assistant Temecula, CA Standing on a spot in a garage for 13 or 14 hours to pull out the win with a cockamamie deal pitch that should never have been accepted should earn easy ups from me, and normally it would. But he was so annoying and obnoxious throughout most of the comp, and especially the last couple hours when the guys were hurting, not to mention being annoying and obnoxious at virtually all times, that I can't give him more than neutral. He's lucky to get that, and especially as I sit here and think about the ridiculous constant fluffing and pawing at his hair, and I want to give him double downs.
Won: Time Capsule 5: 24 hours Lady of the Latrine; 2 days Adam Eve and Eve with Mallory; Movie guest HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 3/0/0 - HN 2   Melody Morris - 24 Instagram - Comedy Instagram Single-ish - fan applicant Corporate game show host (and stand-up comic) Maricopa, AZ (orig Thornton, CO) She still hasn't won any comps and she won't stop complaining about it. She lasted over five hours in the garage which was a lot longer than the winning times for this comp in OTT, BB19, BB27, but only half as good as the winning times in BB26 and this year. So we'll call it an average showing. Comp wins aren't everything but without them, a good social game to compensate is a must, and Melody doesn't have that. She could and should realize she could easily coast her way to a nice $75k paycheck, but she throws roadblocks in her own way that are likely to prevent even that. But it was cute hearing that her mom acknowledged all the phone calls to her in her video from home.	Won: Nothing yet HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Noms 4/0/0 - HN 3   Taylor Brown - 27 Instagram Single - fan applicant Elementary school counselor Deerfield Beach, FL Knowing she's the only renom option, it had to sting when she was the only one not playing for this veto. She had to put her fate in everyone's hands but her own, and her faith in Yash plus Dee and Devens. Talk about a slippery slope. As designated comp host, she was just given a stool to sit on for hours in the garage, and then she stayed at the monitor until the whole thing was over, unlike some who wandered off to their comfy beds. She's been a lot more talkative and sociable lately and I love to see it, and I think they do too.
Won: $5,000 (Dee's BB Bribe); Week 1 Block Buster HOH 2 - Veto 3 - Noms 2/0/0 - HN 1   Yash Patel - 24 Instagram Single - recruit Financial analyst Monroe Township, NJ He stood on a single spot in a garage set for almost 13 hours despite being ill, and why? He was already safe. Maybe he was going for comp records and a call from The Challenge, maybe he wanted to protect Taylor, or maybe he just didn't want to lose to Drew. Whatever the reason, he stood there until it was down to just him and Drew. He maybe shouldn't have accepted the deal since Drew's more likely to break it than not, but I think he just wanted it to end. I know the feeling.	Won: Time Capsule 1: Six days egg; Week 6 Block Buster HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0/0 - HN 1   Angela Murray - 52 53 Instagram - TikTok Married, 4 kids, 3 grandkids - BB and TAR veteran Real estate agent Syracuse, UT (orig Long Beach, CA) 2nd juror - 10th evicted - Day 66 She was a little less messy, but she didn't start off with sleep-deprived ranting on the stairs this time. Maybe because of that she was better liked in there this time, which helped her state of mind, and who she liked and who didn't like her was once again the basis of her gameplay. She was an egg for a week, often hilariously, but she complained a lot about it, and she won a Block Buster thanks to Tucker's technique of covering one of the fan vents in the flying balls booth. She once again talked more than she listened, mostly about herself, her life, her moods, her joys, her problems, hubby Chuck's chore list, and game-wise she mostly did what Dee told her. She was volatile and/or performative and was involved in a majority of the fights, many of them at ceremonies guaranteed to be on the episodes. She'll probably be on TV again, and again.
Won: Nothing HOH 1 - Veto 1 - Noms 3/0/0 - HN 2   LaTrice Verrett - 57 58 Instagram Divorced, 4 kids - fan applicant, feedster Boutique sales Maplewood, NJ (orig Kankakee, IL) 1st juror - 9th evicted - Day 59 She won the wall comp at 58 years old and it wasn't a ten-minute one, and she won a physical veto - yes booty-scooty and tonguing a stick is physical. One night early season, several were loud and woke her up and her rant about that, mostly to herself and us, was hilarious, as were her rants about them being slobs. But unfortunately that resulted in people telling her how to behave, with some microaggressions included. She cooked and cleaned for them all, which most took for granted. She tried to incite a rookies revolution against the three vets but it failed because suck-ups kept sucking up, but it finally kicked in the day after her eviction when Barrett put all three on the block. She cried a lot but usually with cause, and she was equally fun and lively, and I wish her only the best.	Won: Week 5 Block Buster HOH 1 - Veto 0 - Noms 2/0/0 - HN 1   Haley Thogmartin - 29 Instagram - new Instagram Single - recruit Telemedicine exec Wildwood, MO (orig Neosho, MO) 8th evicted - Day 52/53 She was in no danger for weeks but continually complained about what a rough time she had. Then she got blindsided on her HOH in Week 4, and went from there to the block, but she won the Block Buster and saved herself. Still complaining. She was extremely self-centered, and said people were scared of her and her tattoos, and she was a total malcontent most of the time. Things actually did get bad when she lost one medieval mini comp after another and was eliminated without a vote. That was wrong when it was Rachel and it's still wrong, but the reaction wasn't so loud for Haley. She made a lot of rude comments, especially about LaLa, and she had a number of victim-offs with Angela but they ended up mostly friendly. She's keeping face mask and cheek flap makers in business.
Won: Time Capsule 4: 2 days Adam Eve and Eve, with Melody; Week 3 Block Buster HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Noms 2/1/0 - HN 2   Mallory Aurichio - 24 Instagram Single Rocket scientist Township of Washington, NJ 7th evicted - Day 52 She was the latest to fill the 'quirky girl' casting slot and she did it well. She won the first veto, saving herself and earning the nickname Pipe Queen which stuck, thanks to Devens who couldn't remember her name at the time, and she saved herself again with the Blockbuster Block Buster. She didn't do much else game-wise, but she won a Time Capsule vote and ended up being Eve for a couple days with Melody. She cried, moped, hibernated, and threw tantrums when things didn't go her way but she was a good activities director. She planned the infamous tea party that made tea kettles Jason's weapon of choice, and she took big groups on imaginative but loud and screamy bus tours and plane rides. Her train ride has been postponed indefinitely.	Won: Nothing HOH 1 - Veto 1 - Noms 0/0/1 - HN 2   Kamuela 'Kamu' Kirk - 32 Twitter - Instagram Single - fan applicant? MMA fighter Phoenix, AZ 6th evicted - Day 45 I haven't given anyone a premature empty wheel for a few seasons but this guy got one for being generally despicable and not saying anything I wanted to hear. Unfortunately for me, he was pretty good at playing the game of BB so I had to pay a little attention, but I'm glad he went out pre-jury and I never have to hear from him again, or look at his scalloped-edge underwire tattoos.
Won: Week 1 Safety HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/0/0 - HN 2   Chuk Anyanwu - 27 Instagram Single - recruit Supply chain analyst Dallas, TX 5th evicted - Day 38 He said he left for the show before learning if his time-off request at work was approved or not, and that he learned about BB from ChatGPT. He was mostly an NPC for the first weeks, a non-playing character who was randomly activated to say some lines which were generally out of context, and often completely non-sensical. He usually didn't know what was going on around him, but that gave us a bonus of multiple shockfaces. He was tight with Haley and Kamu but nobody else, and when Kamu jumped off that sinking ship, Chuk was stapled to Haley. That's about all there is to say. He'll probably get other shows, and get called back here for all-stars.	Won: Nothing HOH 0 - Veto 1 - Noms 2/1/0 - HN 1   Lyric Medeiros - 25 Instagram - TikTok - Twitch Single - applicant to other shows Attorney Honolulu, HI 4th evicted - Day 31 She started out a two-trick pony between her dad's 80s hit and her education credentials, but she soon branched out to showmancer deluxe. She and Rome got into it faster than most and were smackier than some, but it didn't last long before she was on her own. She might have been a good player but she promised too much to too many and when those notes were compared, she was toast. She won the bowlerina-esque veto to save herself, and her eviction ended up being a pivotal moment and game-changer, but not because of anything she did. She was fun when she got goony and I found her mostly likeable, especially when she talked normally, but the babygirl voice got her results more than it should have.
Won: Week 1 Safety; Week 2 Block Buster HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 1/1/0 - HN 1   Jason De Puy - 35 Twitter - Instagram - TikTok Pre-BB26 part 1 - part 2 - Reality press event as Ainsley Single - BB fan/pre-season test run veteran Drag queen - West Hollywood, CA (orig San Francisco, CA) 3rd evicted - Day 24 He wasn't grouped with the other reality vets and he downplayed Salina's celebrity, and I respect that he did this as Jason without the built-in advantages of being a known entity. But he messed up the first week when he announced he wanted to go after those three, and it got back to them while they were in power. He compounded that when he admitted to several that his sincere-sounding bond with Angela was fake, and that got back to her. But it all resulted in a hilariously explosive noms ceremony, and he topped that with his teakettle-clanging after Kamu attacked him at Mallory's tea party. Yes he was a messy bitch but he was also genuine, vulnerable, funny, and easily my star of the season.	Won: Week 1 Safety HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 1   Jack 'Rome' Seymour - 28 Twitter - Instagram - Trash Instagram Single - recruit Pickleball coach Delray Beach, FL (orig Traverse City, MI) 2nd evicted - Day 17 If you took all the brojock buffoons we've ever had and rolled them into one, you'd get a cartoon character named Jack who decided he'd rather be called Rome. He fell fast and hard for Lyric and maybe she did for him too, and he cry-sobbed for hours with no tears. He acted like he thought he was the star of the show, but his early exit indicates otherwise.
Won: Nothing HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/1/0 - HN 0   Ashley Trail - 24 Twitter - Instagram Single - applicant Bartender (and actormodel) Chicago, IL (orig Alton, IL) 1st evicted - Day 10 She was an NPC at first, but many always are in the first days. She tried to get in the game when she went on the block as a renom but it was too late and she did it badly, so she's now a charter member of the not-so-illustrious first evicted club. She said she'd never had a hamburger before (how is that possible?) but now she has, so her time here wasn't a total loss.	Won: Hot lava bath HOH 0 - Veto 0 - Noms 0/0/0 - HN 0   Rachel Reilly - 41 Instagram Married, 2 kids - three-time BB veteran Casting agent Hoover, AL (orig Concord, NC via Las Vegas, NV) Eliminated via volcano - Day 1 She came in dramatically after (almost) everyone else again, dressed in red again, but this time she was there for a stunt. We've had a couple other fake move-ins before - think Anthony Scaramucci on Celebs 2 or human Ainsley (Cosette Rinab) on BB26. Rachel had people going and thinking she was there as a player but no: 175 million years ago, a dinosaur carried her off and threw her into a volcano before she even got to play a comp or invent a new catchphrase.
