Daily Feeds Recaps

Day 34 - Sunday - August 9, 2026

Last night Kamu confessed to having a crush on Taylor, and said the two of them should have been the ones who got shackled together.

Mallory Eve's and Melody Eve's task is due to end today, though not much will change except they won't be in leaf bikinis all day. Haley ran her misery-every-week loops to Drew, and said "give me an example of one thing I've done wrong" - be careful what you wish for, ma'am. Drew mentioned this week's Have-nots didn't seem to be getting the kindness and slopcoctions of other weeks, which is likely because LaLa isn't about to make Haley's and Chuk's lives more comfy, and I don't think Barrett or Drew can make food for themselves. (Drew didn't say slopcoctions, I did.) Mallory workshopped her voting shoutouts for Thursday with Barrett, and she went into a lengthy philosophical thing about New Year's Eve and memories both being CGI. Taylor passed on to LaLa a request from Chuk last night to let her know how personally hurt he and Haley are, and LaLa replied "good!" They agreed Chuk can't be objective about Haley.

Dee told Devens now that the house enemy is on her way out, they'll need to cultivate another one. (Recall yesterday she told us Taylor's too smart to keep around for the duration.) Dee told Angela that Taylor and LaLa think they have power and numbers but they don't, and Angela said Taylor's relationship with Kamu and Yash is "insane" and her game is like Chelsie's. (I don't know how Dee doesn't burst out laughing sometimes when this group continually proves how easy they are to manipulate.) Kamu talked at Dee about poor Haley, and her fears about her character being smeared, and how she's being treated this week. Chuk campaigned in his special marathon way to Kamu about the veto, saying LaLa noms were a rookie move because someone convinced her not to put up all three of them together. I wonder when Chuk will learn that person was Kamu.

I think the trio of Chuk/Haley/Kamu truly don't realize how awful they were to so many people, especially during their two weeks in power. I already swore off listening to Kamu any more than I have to, Haley's a broken record of self-important delusion with victim noises, and Chuk's just a constant, meaningless, monotone background drone to me.

Afternoon and evening didn't bring much. The selfie cam came out and they did their poses and skits for that. Mallory Eve and Melody Eve were released from their leaves and shackles while the episode aired and as expected, nothing much changed except their clothes, they still stuck together. Barrett put in a lot of overtime hours babysitting Haley as she ran her victim loops, and the rest of them owe him in a big way for absorbing all that. Dee and Drew laughed about Kamu's repetitive stories. Taylor wondered if they could boot Barrett this week, but they don't have the votes to do that. Angela made spaghetti for most and she told Have-not Barrett she'd make it again for him next week if he'd like. I don't know if Chuk or Haley heard that or not, but it was a little sloppy of Angela. (Not nearly as sloppy as yesterday's slop though.

Taylor said she, LaLa, Angela need to go on strike about cleaning up and washing dishes, but they don't want to live in a sty. They gave Yash credit for at least pitching in to help sometimes. Mallory, who was rocking the hammock Ian-style for a long time last night, kept getting "stop that" for it tonight, even when she wasn't rocking it hard. Go figure. Angela visited LaLa in HOH to bash and rehash, like she does, it being the night before a possible nom ceremony. Taylor visited LaLa and together they complained about the slobs in there and how they should stop cleaning up after them (meanwhile, Mallory emptied the dishwasher), and LaLa did a pretty great impersonation of Angela bashing Haley from her earlier visit.

Kamu isn't expected to use his veto tomorrow, but these guys love to change things at the last minute so keep it in pencil, as usual.

Day 33 - Saturday - August 8, 2026

In overnight news, Kamu and Yash formalized their F2 (again? I thought that was already a thing but maybe not), and Taylor's tethers plan resurfaced (Taylor, Kamu, Devens with plus-ones/tethers LaLa and Yash, and Dee as Devens' secret plus-one/tether).

Angela kept crying and spiraling from guilt last night, with Dee listening and babysitting her til 3am. Despite that, this morning Angela confessed to Haley that she did indeed vote out Lyric, adding that she didn't come up with the plan, and she cried for sympathy for her overwhelming guilt. Haley was not pleased and she brought the news to Chuk, who said Angela flipped the vote and started all the drama, which fired up Haley more than she was. Angela told Dee that she'd confessed to Haley, Haley came back to Angela more perturbed, and Chuk then came to Angela to scold and lecture, and he refused Angela's offer/request of a parting hug.

Feeds went to adoptable anipals for the veto draw with debris from Tropical Storm Angela raining down everywhere. Dee and Kamu were picked to play along with LaLa, Barrett, Chuk, Haley. Haley told Taylor nobody will use the veto (still on that plan!), and Taylor said she's once again "guilty by association." When Haley left, Taylor told us "this will be the funniest thing to happen all season." Angela's confession/apology tour continued in HOH with LaLa and Taylor, oblivious to how clearing her conscience affects so many others' games, and Dee settled in for a lengthy damage control/confession/explanation session with Kamu. Her style of manipulation via sincere-sounding transparency is truly masterful. Several times she even said if anyone asks her about any of it, she will lie and deny it. She said she knows Haley is/was his friend, and they'll all be friends afterwards anyway, but the house does not like Haley in the game. Kamu acknowledged that and agreed, he admitted he worked on LaLa to change her noms at the last minute, and Dee told him about her power and said nobody else knows about it (Devens does).

Dee, Kamu met with Chuk, Haley in the gym to rehash and point fingers. Haley pulled out "I'm not mad, I'm disappointed" about Angela, and she retold coming to Angela's aid in the backyard last night. Haley and Chuk said Taylor hates LaLa now and is ready to jump ship (nope!), and Haley said something about throwing somebody under the rug. Yash was pulled out of a nap to join the gym meeting, and Angela parannoyed in the yard to Barrett, Drew, Mallory, Melody about what the others were meeting about, and asked if she should go up there? (That was rich, after commenting for weeks about popup Drew always showing up uninvited.) The gym meeting then decided to bring Angela in to clear things up about her vote lie confession. When she joined and was asked that question, feedmasters gave us a camera from her point of view (almost). It was brilliant, hilarious, and terrifying all at once.

Chuk tried to chair the meeting but he couldn't contain it. Angela sputtered around and said her now-repetitive "it weighs heavy on my chest" and "I lied, yes" and "I know you're pissed Haley, I get it!" Haley said "Angela, come on now" and Angela said "I'm not gonna do this!" as their victim-off ramped up. Angela asked why Yash was even there (since he wasn't in the alliance) and he said he got called up the same way she did. (It may have been similar on the surface but it was not the same, at all.)

Angela told the inquisition committee she just didn't want to be on the wrong side of the vote. (Where's that clip of her gleefully saying "LET'S FUCKING DO IT!" when she was told of the plan to flip and evict Lyric?) She became a little hysterical and was quickly flashing between crying and saying "I'm not gonna cry!" Haley asked "would you rather be on the wrong side of your alliance or the wrong side of the vote?" and Angela said "I just did it, I don't know why I did it" and "I'm a scrambled egg head sometimes." (Haley didn't seem to realize her question contained its own answer: Angela was staying on the right side of the vote, with her priority alliance.) Tempers flared, shouting and cussing commenced including "fuck you Haley!" and "you bitch, you fucking bitch!" from Angela. As various people left the room, Dee, Kamu, Yash rolled on the floor laughing, then quickly composed themselves as others cycled in.

LaLa and Taylor got the first retells, and LaLa got well fired up, saying "you know what this does? It confirms my motherfucking nominations!" Retell rounds were as usual, with every version having a "we are right and they are wrong" tone. In the backyard, Devens joined the FAP foursome to say "oh no, I'm with the rejects" and asked if his meeting invite had been lost in the mail.

They went off for their veto comp for about two and a half hours. Yash hosted and it sounded like he kept it light and fun. It was the lighted sidewalk pattern memorization like Squid Games (but without the death drop), and Kamu won. Feeds came back to Chuk and Haley walking the yard and Haley complaining about "the same thing that happened when I won HOH" which I think referred to nobody cheering the win. I didn't hear if Kamu said "I believe you have a prompt" but I also don't know if he's seen last season or not. Chuk said he thinks Kamu will use it on one of them, making me wonder if he's got short-term memory problems, or maybe he's a switching twin. Angela vetsplained the latest news to Devens, and Dee told them everything's fine, Kamu's easy to persuade if they just let him think something's his idea.

And on that front, Kamu excitedly met with LaLa and Taylor to say they all just need to keep their stories straight, the story being Kamu will tell Chuk and Haley he can't use veto on either of them because LaLa threatened to put up Devens if he does. (LaLa's renom plan had been Drew.) LaLa happily said the house is working together this week for the common goal of sending Haley home, and next week they can all go back to their separate corners. Kamu met with Chuk and Haley, and Haley said it's just brutal, she's been in "the worst fucking position every week." Forgotten nominee Barrett met with Mallory Eve and Melody Eve and they laughed about the comedy of it all. LaLa then assured Barrett he's not going anywhere, and she thanked him for his service.

Dee gave us a recap of the mess going back to the decision to flip the Lyric vote, and she once again said how fun it all was. We hear "it's just a game" a thousand times a season or more, but Dee actually treats it that way, and that's refreshing. She said all this in the pass-through room with no doors, and she might get caught doing that sooner or later. She said she only fully trusts Devens and Angela, and said she loves Taylor but she's too smart to keep around for the duration. Devens joined, and Angela, and Taylor, and things turned to chit-chat. Haley was rattling off her tales of woe to Barrett in the kitchen but he had to break, so he joined Dee's group for hugs all around before going back to hear more of Haley's loops. Dee, Angela, Drew said the probable episode version of today's mess will be drama highlights without all the context: "chaos! eruption! fucking bitch!" Sounds accurate. Chuk and Angela had a rehash/apology convo on the backyard balcony that went on and on. The two of them are the most retell-happy hamsters we've got, and their retells of that plus multiple retells of the day's fights and follies carried on all over, so I'm shutting them off early tonight.

Downs are here to stay unless/until they remove the ban on BBViewer. That's probably corporate's doing and not a BB decision, but we still lose no matter what the cause. Especially since a lot of staffers use BBViewer themselves. This show is not like any other and should get a little consideration.

PS I removed their second down, at least for now, since the ads on feeds seem to be over. Maybe I overreacted, since they only ran for half a day.

An empty hamster wheel before someone's evicted or otherwise leaves means I've put them on ignore, and won't be listening to them or reporting what they do or say unless it's pertinent to season events. 4th evicted - Day 31

She started out a two-trick pony between her dad's 80s hit and her education credentials, but she soon branched out to showmancer deluxe. She and Rome got into it faster than most and were smackier than some, but it didn't last long before she was on her own. She might have been a good player but she promised too much to too many and when those notes were compared, she was toast. She won the bowlerina-esque veto to save herself, and her eviction ended up being a pivotal moment and game-changer, but not because of anything she did. She was fun when she got goony and I found her mostly likeable, especially when she talked normally, but the babygirl voice got her results more than it should have.

3rd evicted - Day 24

He wasn't grouped with the other reality vets and he downplayed Salina's celebrity, and I respect that he did this as Jason without the built-in advantages of being a known entity. But he messed up the first week when he announced he wanted to go after those three, and it got back to them while they were in power. He compounded that when he admitted to several that his sincere-sounding bond with Angela was fake, and that got back to her. But it all resulted in a hilariously explosive noms ceremony, and he topped that with his teakettle-clanging after Kamu attacked him at Mallory's tea party. Yes he was a messy bitch but he was also genuine, vulnerable, funny, and easily my star of the season.

If you took all the brojock buffoons we've ever had and rolled them into one, you'd get a cartoon character named Jack who decided he'd rather be called Rome. He fell fast and hard for Lyric and maybe she did for him too, and he cry-sobbed for hours with no tears. He acted like he thought he was the star of the show, but his early exit indicates otherwise.

1st evicted - Day 10

She was an NPC at first, but many always are in the first days. She tried to get in the game when she went on the block as a renom but it was too late and she did it badly, so she's now a charter member of the not-so-illustrious first evicted club. She said she'd never had a hamburger before (how is that possible?) but now she has, so her time here wasn't a total loss.

Eliminated via volcano - Day 1

She came in dramatically after (almost) everyone else again, dressed in red again, but this time she was there for a stunt. We've had a couple other fake move-ins before - think Anthony Scaramucci on Celebs 2 or human Ainsley (Cosette Rinab) on BB26. Rachel had people going and thinking she was there as a player but no: 175 million years ago, a dinosaur carried her off and threw her into a volcano before she even got to play a comp or invent a new catchphrase.
