He'd requested Olivia Rodrigo for his music but he didn't get that until today for whatever reason. He was looking happy and relaxed this morning, and he asked us "'icons' or Yash, what would Mallory do?" followed by "it's time to break up, it's been a good nine weeks, we had a good run." Dee told us she feels safe but Angela might not be, and she said "Barrett is easily manipulated." Meetings kicked off with Devens, and Barrett said there was a "weird vibe" last week and the distrust in him, especially from Dee and Angela, was disappointing. Devens asked if he's in good shape and Barrett said he thinks so but he wasn't very reassuring, and there aren't many options, and they agreed they love each other and they'll be okay after all this no matter what. Devens said to us afterwards "I guess he's ready to make a move, I wonder if he was going to send me home" last night - yes he was. Taylor was next and requested that she, Melody, Yash get a break from the block, and she stressed how shady Drew is and he'd use veto on one of the vets if he wins it. Then came Dee, who told Barrett not to worry about being Crossovers Strong, to do what he wants and needs to do. Then she told him Yash will likely put Barrett on the block by default, because all three vets were part of the terms of accepting her $5k bribe. Barrett was taken aback, and said it was "a little bit upsetting" he wasn't told that sooner (not to mention his safety wasn't part of the deal). Dee said she trusts Barrett with her whole heart, and he should be selfish, and she cried a little saying her confession puts Angela and Devens in a bad position. Drew was next, and Barrett told him what Dee said about the bribe, adding that Dee didn't want him to tell anyone. Then came Angela, and Barrett repeated what he'd told the others, that he might end up nominating half the house. Angela laid it on thick, saying how perfect that there are three non-Crossovers to choose from, along with an implied threat "we're the jury!" She was highly theatrical and fake-perky about it, and when she left Barrett told himself us "she knows something's up, she's so fuckin funny." Melody followed and Barrett told her he's dragging her to the end, and Drew too, and both agreed they want a rookie to win this season. Barrett told Drew, with Melody present, he'd prefer Drew not use veto on Devens if he wins it, and Drew said if Barrett goes "scorched earth" (the three on the block), he would not use veto at all. Angela ranted to Devens about the three of them being in trouble, and Devens ranted to himself/us how difficult she is to work with. He also mentioned she'd told him yesterday before eviction that he had to win the Block Buster or he'd get the boot. Devens met with Barrett in the open, in the kitchen, for a followup and Barrett said "I wish I could be Crossovers Strong with these noms, but I don't think I'm going to." Angela also re-met with Barrett, then had a meltdown to Dee saying Barrett told her all three of them are going up. Melody retold that to Barrett as Angela acting like "coked out of her mind energy." Barrett said he doesn't like making people feel bad (but he also knows how "welcome to BB" works.) Devens asked Dee "at what point do we tell [Barrett] Yash can't put any of us up?" Dee said "any time" and added there's a possibility Yash already told him (no, but she did). They brought Angela over, and all three went to HOH. Yash, Drew, Melody were already there, and after a few awkward silences, Devens dove right in to explain the bribe power. Barrett said "what the hell kind of power is this shit? Yash, care to confirm?" Yash lied and said he agreed to that with Dee but not the other two. Dee said that wasn't true, and said she can't lie about it per the rules but Yash can, and is. Taylor arrived, making it a full house meeting, and they told her about the bribe and conditions. Devens said "it was a deal with the devil" and Dee responded "hey, come on!" Angela piped up to say "we've been in an alliance since the beginning," Devens said Yash wanted to evict Taylor last night, and Angela asked if anyone else has secrets to spill? At some point Devens said Yash had accepted the bribe because otherwise Dee was going to nominate him. Barrett was called to Diary for noms at 4pm just as everything was simmering. He went through with it and put up all three of them, placing him in the feedsters' champions hall of fame alongside Jessica "The Scream" Milagros. Feeds came back when they were still seated at the table, while Unlocked was on, with Angela yelling at Yash and most of them laughing. Things calmed down pretty quickly, since all the revelations came out before noms. Unlocked continued poking fun at both itself and the main show, celebrating its milestone 10th episode using the 1000th episode graphic, and labeling Andy the Intern as Cody Calafiore's Accent Coach. Zingbot told them Unlocked has united tv-onlies and feedsters with a show both hate, and zinged Jay Mohr pretty hard with "how is being Jeanie Buss's husband like being on Big Brother? You're both allowed to live in a house that isn't yours." The Diary rants are always good and this episode's were about bad sounds, including Angela hollering "CHUCK!" in her sleep one night, which they'd talked about the next day. The show didn't provide context that her husband's name is Chuck and she probably wasn't hollering about evicted Chuk. Neither Haley nor LaLa appeared as guests, but they kicked off the HOH comp which was a colorful rainbow rollyball, and Drew's costume was indeed a leprechaun. If you missed what came before, click 'previous Hamsterwatch episode' up top and/or use my season directory. THANK YOU SO MUCH for reading the site, following me on Bluesky, and supporting me on Patreon or Ko-fi! Day 59 - Thursday - September 3, 2026 LaLa and Devens promised each other their votes this morning with a fist bump, with LaLa feeling bad about potentially turning on Taylor. Devens said everyone's friends after these shows, unless there was never a real friendship there to start with. Angela told Dee she overheard Taylor and someone else talking last night about evicting Devens. Naturally Angela was all perky after that when she sat down with Devens to innocently wonder what's next for them, and both agreed it could be anything. She said she kind of hopes a week in the yard will kick off tonight, as she's tired of being inside. Barrett told Drew that Yash approached him about evicting Taylor over LaLa, and Drew wondered why. He said Angela and Dee would prefer to keep LaLa because they can control her, and he wanted to have a Crossovers meeting about it. Drew asked Devens, who first said he doesn't really care but later said he'd prefer LaLa stay, and Drew said he doesn't really care either but he doesn't want to do Dee and Angela's dirty work for them, and he found it funny they didn't talk to him about it. Mini meetings carried on. Drew pushed for LaLa to go, apparently because she flipped him off at some point, but Angela was given an okay to give her a sympathy vote. Dee joked about evicting Devens and he joked about begging to stay. Dee went back and forth to them and us, clearly wanting Devens out but not wanting to do it herself, and coming up with various plans to blame others for her vote. I thought Yash's latest styling for Devens was a BB carved into the side of his hair, with a wonky first B, but apparently it's meant to be a heart with a B for Love Becca. Dee and Angela tossed Lucky Charms for Drew and Barrett to roll over, catch, and fetch like good doggies, with Angela ending that cringe by saying the lost bits would attract ants. Julie posted her Block Buster preview: it's the one where they have to retrieve balls from a ball pit, run up a few stairs, lean over a railing and drop into a tube. Julie opened the show with Survivor references and she dropped a couple Survivor puns as the show got underway. The Block Buster was a nail-biter, but Devens won by being the first to get four balls into his tube, making him the first renom of the season to not be evicted. Taylor was right behind him with three balls in her tube, and LaLa only had one. They failed by not having a camera on Dee when the players re-entered the living room and heard who won, but they had one on Drew who looked disappointed, and Angela who looked overjoyed. Dee cast the first vote, against LaLa, then she gave Angela her instructions in the Diary hallway, and Angela voted against Taylor. Melody also voted to evict Taylor and the other four voted to evict LaLa, so she went out on a 4-2 vote. She came out with smiles, and sass for her goodbye messages, especially Drew's, and Julie gave her her flowers for her wall comp triumph as well as her veto. Then she was off to jury, and we saw a moment of Taylor drying her eyes in the bathroom. Julie brought out Jay Mohr who will be the Unlocked co-host tomorrow/taping tonight. She introduced him as a superfan but a recent one, and he said he hasn't missed an episode since "Jag's season" BB25. He married former Lakers owner Jeanie Buss three years ago and she is a legit BB superfan, so that would time out about right. Like LaLa, he made Julie happy with a religious shoutout. Julie told us next week's veto will be BB Comics, and the credits rolled. Feeds came back to retells of the Block Buster, questions about who the two votes were (Melody told Drew she was one), frozen pizza, Angela being comforted over losing LaLa, and Taylor missing from all those group convos and not being comforted over losing LaLa. Devens questioned Dee about the votes and she went on the defensive, feigning innocence as well as acting annoyed that he would question her. They rehashed it again later, and Devens apologized to Dee for upsetting her, and both of them pledged trust in the other. (I don't think there's much trust between them at the moment.) And Devens grouched about Angela apparently asking to be thrown the HOH, saying "I'm sorry but you can get pictures of your grandkids in a month." Feeds were down from 8pm to 10pm for the HOH comp, which Barrett won. It involved rolling balls of different colors, which they played within view of each other, and there were a lot of resets for drops. Drew's hosting outfit looked like some kind of leprechaun getup? I don't know. Drew and Devens did a pantry celebration with Devens impressively doing not one but two heel-kick leaps. Devens said he hopes Barrett doesn't say "bad news guys, I've been with the other guys the whole time" - well, technically not the whole time, just recently. Another pantry celebration came along with Barrett and Drew whispering but loudly jumping and stomping. Barrett told Drew he's safe, and Melody's also safe. Drew said "whoa this is gonna be crazy" and Barrett replied "it might make you uncomfortable, but you're good." All of that implies he will indeed put up some combination of Angela, Dee, Devens and maybe all three. Dee told us if Barrett tries to "pull a fast one" she'll spill all the secrets, but I don't think she has many left that aren't common knowledge now. Waiting for his HOH room, Barrett hung out with the pod people instead of the vets, and they noticed. One of the funniest convos this season came up when Yash refused to believe Michael Jackson dangled his baby out of a window, and that the baby's name was Blanket. Barrett, Drew, Melody all tried to convince him it happened but Yash said no, they were pranking him, it was a fake video. The more MJ facts they mentioned, the less he believed them (understandable). Devens came in and Angela a few minutes later, and both individually confirmed the name and the story. But I still don't think Yash believed any of it. When they said Blanket always had a blanket over his face because Michael was hiding his identity, "trying to be a good dad," Yash said "so he hung him over a balcony?" A valid question.Have-nots are not done yet: this week's are Dee and Melody. Apparently Yash refused, even though it was his turn on the rotation. I'll catch up Barrett's room stuff tomorrow.
