Daily Feeds RecapsDay 4 - Friday - July 10, 2026 They posted the rules for the vote that Unlocked will kick off: it's for BB Time Capsules which sound like Care Packages and similar they've done in the past. There will be a vote each week for six weeks to determine who gets a power or whatever's in each Time Capsule, and nobody can win more than once. Poll dates are on the left sidebar and results will be there as we get them. And Pluto posted messages from the hamsters to us, the feedsters. You really have to go around to a dozen social media sites to see everything that gets posted by the show now. There wasn't anything earth-shattering in those messages, the best of which was Rick's, telling us to chill. He either knows about us or he's heard what a vicious mob we can be. He gets it. Unlocked had a more casual set than last year, but it felt rushed and loud. Jerry O'C joined Derrick and Taylor and I think he's a good addition to the show. The new live audience were all sitting at small tables. (It was a stunt audience and the show was taped Thursday.) They dropped a lot of segments that didn't work last year and they added tips from Cirie, and they showed some bonus footage, both pre- and post-move-in. One of those clips included an irritated Taylor saying Devens skipped her with his greets and hugs when he arrived - in-house Taylor, not host Taylor, that is. Back to prehistoric times in the backyard, Survivor Dee came out from jungle foliage to replace Rachel. Derrick and Taylor snuck into the house to ride the times table to save Rachel before she went into the volcano and she joined them onstage. They ran the vets' intro packages but Angela's didn't even mention Amazing Race? What's up with that? Intern Andy had a bigger role including short QAs with the cast, the highlight being when he asked Kamu why he wasn't wearing a shirt and would he like his? The Time Capsule vote was opened - info is on both the left and right sidebars for that. In short, every week for six weeks the winning hamster will enter the Time Capsule to play a game, resulting in either a power or punishment. The HOH comp started in the volcano zone. Angela, Dee, Devens had to race to collect pieces to build a fire puzzle and keep it stable five seconds. The newbie teams from the safety comp who summoned each of them were allowed to holler suggestions at them. The losing team would be Have-nots. Andy the Intern flipped on an oversize feeds switch and they started right on time. Feeds were a lot less chaotic than most first nights but still a lot to jump into, especially for those of us who don't have all the names and faces matched up yet, let alone voices. As usual, I'll just share a few tidbits I picked up - things will become clearer as we go. I hope. Dee won the HOH comp (but you knew that already), and earlier today she nominated Mallory, Taylor, Yash, with her Reason being one from each team was fair (but I don't know how she explained which one from each team she picked, if she did). Devens and his safety comp team Chuk, Drew, Haley, Taylor were Have-nots. Typical hamster conversations about things like pooping happened, and they already had cornhole in the backyard. Kamu, who'd said he'd downplay his MMA stuff, talked a lot about his MMA stuff. Lyric, Mallory, Melody are being seen as a trio; Lyric, Rome, Yash are close; Lyric and Rome are flirty and may be on the road to showmancing: they shared a little cheek-kiss. Haley looked bored and annoyed to be there until someone got her talking about softball, which perked her up a little.Remember the theory that main character syndrome is natural for most hamsters, and when they're suddenly thrust into a large group of other main characters, it can be a brand new and daunting experience for some. That could be happening with Haley, and maybe a bit with Melody too: she seemed more comfortable in small groups than large. I didn't see much of Ashley until she and Melody had an intense gametalk in the pantry, with mostly Melody doing the talking, saying they should bring in a few more people to work with them, including a comp beast or two. And they wondered what Jason's about and who he's with. LaTrice made some rounds, and is being called LaLa.  Mallory was understandably annoyed at being on the block, and Jason asked if she'd noticed Kamu's upstairs a lot with Dee. Jason, Lyric, Mallory, Melody seem to have formed a semi-solid group. Lyric lost her voice and was hoarse throughout the night. Taylor stayed alone in her room for awhile, both sniffling and peptalking herself, understandly as being on the block and on slop isn't a fun beginning. Angela and Devens sat at the times table for awhile, looking like mom and dad and talking about restaurants. Angela socialized a lot, and well, and did a little gametalking here and there, including with Dee. She also advised Dee to get enough sleep, which was pretty funny if you were on feeds at the start of BB26. Devens kept things light and I didn't see a whole lot of him. Barrett, Chuk, Drew, Kamu all socialized with each other and various others.There don't seem to be many gamebots in this cast, as often happens when it's mixed vets and rookies - go figure. Many of them went to bed early and feeds were relatively quiet by midnight. Again, this is just some random observations to start. It's just the start of a long a marathon and I'm pacing myself. Day 3 - Premiere - Thursday - July 9, 2026 We're here, it's Day 3 for the hamsters but the first day for the show and for our season finally getting underway. I let another spoiler fly this morning, namely that Survivor Dee is indeed in the game and is the first HOH. Julie wore black, as I said in my first round of premiere spoilers, as a verification tool. Yes, she often wears black, but no matter.I did add a few East coast air show links to the left sidebar so hopefully they'll help those who need them. I take no responsibility for their safety or security, so use at your own risk, use ad blockers, don't click on or download anything, and all the usual precautions.  I'll try to tackle it here but the premiere was A LOT! It started with a title card "In loving memory of Mickey Lee (1990-2025)" with a lovely pic of her doing heart-hands. Julie did her mini house tour and time warp announcement for those who've been under a rock the last couple weeks (tv-onlies and other casuals), and she said there are 94 cameras and 113 microphones in the house. Last year had 112 cameras per some official source - I don't make these things up - but that was up from 94 the prior year so maybe somebody goofed on that last year. No biggie.Anyway, from there the ladies' intro packages ran, and the seven of them were gathered onstage where Julie welcomed them to the "social experment" [sic] and told them it's an all-woman season, but she quickly added that she was joking about that. Then came the men's intro packages and all 14 of the new kids were assembled onstage.  Julie sent them inside in assigned groups: Rome, Taylor, Ashley, Jason, Kamu (Jason went in first - oop); then LaTrice, Mallory, Yash, Barrett, Lyric; and then Chuck, Haley, Drew, Melody. After some preliminary greetings and chaos, Julie told them "for the first time" nobody currently in the house will be the first HOH. That's not true since a similar set up happened for BB11 move-in, so that landed on the goof tally, and she told them not everyone competing this season had moved in, which several of them had already figured out. Campy chaos revved up then as Julie alternated with future Enzo via video to explain three groups of four people would compete for safety, which the winner of each comp would get, and each winner would also "recruit" and bring back a reality icon. Future Enzo told them the dining table is a time machine (a times table?!) and to activate it they'd need to find 12 BBtonium vials with correct equations that were hidden around the house. Everyone found one except Ashley and Barrett, so they had to sit out the safety comps (and maybe they got a little flirty).The first safety comp sent Kamu, LaTrice, Mallory, Rome to July 9, 1988 and a Long Beach mall, where a young blonde woman (meant to be young Angela Murray, played by Cecilia Diamond) made 80s references. Competitors had to hang 80s items on the wobbly rack/tree we've seen before. The first to balance eight items for ten seconds won, and that was Rome. He delivered a letter to young Angela and after everyone was gathered back in the house, current Angela ding-donged and joined the season.  The next group to activate the hot tub dining table time machine was Chuk, Drew, Haley, Taylor. They were sent to July 7, 2018 and a jungle setting, where they each had to place planks of different sizes onto platforms to make a pathway so they could cross a "river." Chuk won that, and delivered a letter to Jeff Probst. Back inside, Rick Devens ding-donged and joined the season.Next Jason, Lyric, Melody, Yash rode the table to June 27, 2010 and a Vegas club where they had to answer questions about how many times Bahama Mama, Fuzzy Navel, Purple Hooter were mentioned in audio clips. They were eliminated in rounds by exploding cocktails (slime), in order: Melody, Yash, Lyric, giving Jason the win. He set his letter on a podium, and back inside Rachel ding-donged and entered the house dramatically, dressed in red of course.  So Rome, Chuk, Jason earned safety this week, and Angela, Rick/Devens (I need to find out his official hamster name), Rachel would compete to become the first HOH. All 17 then sat down at the times table to travel to 175 million BC, and they magically changed into cave man/woman outfits and went to the backyard where they found a volcano. Rachel was doing her campy bits when a dinosaur came along and threw her into the volcano. Yep.Julie told us Rachel had "met an untimely demise" and was out of the game, but a replacement would be found for her. Julie snuck into the house to ride the table to someone from sometime, and said we'd find out who the real #17 is on tomorrow's Unlocked premiere (that will be Dee). She also said they'd launch a vote that would "impact the first six weeks of the game," and that the feeds would start "immediately after" Unlocked, and that was that. The credits rolled as a burned-up skeletal Rachel laid in her lava bed inside the volcano. Love one another.
