Friday 9/14 Housecalls with Allison Grodner

the only real news was Allison said the AP reveal will be on the finale after the vote but before they announce the winner

she's wearing the same circle necklace some of the female hamsters often wore (Kail, Amber, Jameka, Jessica).. what is that about??

she said Eric's nervous about his reveal, and she said in response to a question about whether he has additional incentive to "campaign and vote for a winner" that they're all in danger of losing their stipend if they don't fulfill their side of their contracts (so apparently no extra money for his final vote.. but it sounded like confirmation that he does get stipend on top of his $40k, putting him almost even with 2nd place? I think juror stipends work out to $9k total; 1st & 2nd placers forfeit theirs for the prize cash)

(btw, I always thought Early Show and Housecalls were part of their contracts.. hmmm)

she repeated the mantra that finalists are not allowed to share the prize money, but that "gifts" are ok, and added that Dick & Daniele are related (in case anyone had missed that)

she confirmed that Jameka's blue ball flew into the tube by itself (a 2nd magic ping pong ball, wow) but that it didn't affect the outcome of that comp.. ooookay

she did not address a question about Dick's coded letter (but again, he received it after it might have had any impact, if indeed it was coded.. i find it funny that people who are stuck on "Dick's a liar & cheater" decide to believe this one thing he said lol)

she & Gretchen responded to a caller saying how great it was that Zach stood up to Dick during the rain comp as if it were the first time Zach had stood up to Dick.. ooookay

she said she'd like the finale to be 2 hours and people who want that should write to CBS to request it (hmmm, it won't be changed now, four days away - maybe that was a hint that BB9 is a go? renewal is usually announced at the wrap party)

in response to a caller asking why Dick wasn't evicted after dumping the tea, Allison said they analyze every situation, etc etc etc.. she used the keyword "violence" but then she called the BB6 Michael/Cappy situation a "huge brawl" lol

and she said the show is not rigged, like she does

when they "peeked in on the feeds" after the show, it actually looked live! that's the first time I've seen that this season, although I haven't watched many Housecalls

btw Julie said on the Early Show that she would "be glued to the feeds all weekend".. ya think??
