Default Hampster Watch Losing It

I still enjoy this site, but I'm afraid our author is losing it. Granted, this isn't the most exciting batch of hampsters we've ever witnessed, but oy vey! The factual errors and "I missed it" notations are everywhere, and what's with the over Jen? One day he's pulling a comparison to the semi-brainy Janelle , the next he's denying what he posted 24 hours earlier; today he's back to easing up on her.

We're all entitled to hold opinions, so I'm not writing to deny him his. Just to express my own. Frankly, it seems our head hampster watcher has grown tired of watching hampsters. This used to be a fun and attitude-filled "read" on the daily BB happenings; so far, this year, it's largely irrelevant.

Here's looking forward to better BB weeks ...

Obviously, I don't have to. But in the past it was sooo fun! And now it's so damned bad - it's still fun! But in a different way. One wonders if "Dingo" is even watching the show this year . . .

This year's BB is disappointing for me. Granted, I'm used to things starting off slow but I just cannot bring myself to watch those people. They're no fun, talk about the most disgusting things an have nothing that grabs my attention. And that's what ya gotta do in reality, grab the viewers attention.

Kudos to dingo for calling out some of the Janelle/Jen similarities. I agree with how both have been portrayed as the beautiful unlikeable bombshells. And mega kudos for mentioning the big possibility of Jen becoming HOH. Good call.

I mean c'mon, give dingo some credit here...... it's kinda hard to make cake outta all these turds.

You're doing a great job dingo.

She’s doing her best, I’m sorry if you hate her write-ups and HER opinion about the show/people (good or bad). This is for entertainment only! She’s doing her best! It’s not her job to sit in front of her feeds and sum up every word for you… or anyone else’s for that matter!

It’s your 2nd post anyway, be nice…or try, we don’t want to hate you!

I think dingo is doing a wonderful job. But everyone (including tobyragg) is entitled to have their own opinions of course. We just need to be mindful of that and respectful too. I may not agree with her every step of the way but I would be a little freaked out if I did. I am perfectly content to agree to disagree so I can get my dingo Big Brother "giggle" in for the day.

So thank you dingo for watching with us, keeping us entertained and giving everyone a nice place to come and chat. You have made Big Brother fun for me since I found you two years ago. Kudos.

I leave for 48 hours to tend to 'real life' and someone put P in my hamster?
For the love of spelling dude.

Define; hampster

1. The incorrect pronounciation of 'hamster'. Annoying as hell.
See idiot.

Oh, and not that anyone asked, but I love me some Dingpo.

LOL, okay okay - I was way harsh in my post. I actually like Dingo a lot, and we've even communicated in some fashion during a past season or two [I think it was BB5ish, can't remember the details].

At any rate - yes, I understand "Dingo" is simply posting her "take" on the show, what I was whining about was the factual stuff. Until yesterday, she's missed the whole Mike thing [and frankly, he's being so subtle he's easy to miss]. The three major errors in the first episode recap was what set me off a bit - I mean, we all have TiVo or DVRs or even VCRs, and it isn't that difficult to go back and rewatch a bit for some fact-checking.

But again, I do know this is just a "fun" site & I'm sorry for having posted so seriously about the fun. I'm not so much into the whole "this show is fixed" theme that's been running thru the commentary for several seasons now ["then - why do you spend so much time with it?"], but the attitude is fun.

Quick hint, for what it's worth: Mike isn't "there" in much the same way that Drew wasn't "there." So far, Mike is playing an incredibly Drew-like game, sans the whole hook up routing. He's as dull as dirt on the feeds, but DO watch for him [especially the a.m. strat talk with Kail]. The guy is all ears and little mouth, and I have a very strong suspicion he's flying under most everyone's radar at this point - including the viewers.

I don't, let alone time to replay this muck.. can you fill me in please? I don't like posting factual errors, tho I'm as capable of making them as the next site - probably more so since most of them have staffs and/or large posting communities posting

It's entertaining for me, per my signature line

I would watch more in the mornings but I tend to catch a nap then most days.. anyway, 14 of them - now 13 - is too many for me to keep track of, get caps, quotes, etc.. I try to include something for each of them in each day's episode but I'm gonna focus on some more than others

I wasn't much of a Drew fan either, largely because of the "dull as dirt" factor.. umm.. refer to my sig again.. frankly, most aspects of the game itself bore me to tears, especially the hours & hours of whispered what-if's, but that's just me

If you are wondering about Dingo then maybe you need a hobby or a good book.
Heaven forbid the woman leaves her house for a minute. YOU might miss out on a recap.
Maybe you shouldn't bash the person who hosts, runs and writes this site. Why don't you try doing half of what Dingo does and see if you even have time to go to the bathroom.

Most stunning revelation in BB history.

Ever since I discovered this site, I always assumed "dingo" was a dude.

I think Dingo has done a great job so far this year. The recaps almost always cover the basics of the, often times, slow days in the house and I've noticed that she has a real knack for capturing the most pertinent video of the day.

Along with "Househappenings", Hamsterwatch is my favorite of the many BB sites out there. I enjoy the thoughtful, well written recaps pieces, which are much more favorable than half hearted "news" and light, two paragraph daily stories you see on some other sites. Also, I obviously dig Joker's live feed updates as well.

The one addition that I would suggest for the site, provided Dingo has time and can get it done, is post-eviction interviews with departed Houseguests. I'm surprised by how many sites seem to get them and I know that Dingo would do an excellent job of asking thoughtful, pertinent questions of the now freed hamsters, instead of fluff like, "Is the slop really that bad?"

Irregardless of that suggestion, Hamsterwatch is still tops in my book. Keep up the great work !

Love Hamsterwatch!! I just wish she (who, until now, I also thought was a he!!) had more time for the recaps!!! lol.. (I'm just kidding!!! you do a wonderful job without spending 24 hrs with them!!!!) I think I'd go mad if I did try to spend that much time listening to the drivel they are spewing right now!!! Season 6 I had to mute my feeds when the sheep got on one of their bashing tirades!!! Only so much of that stuff a sane person can take..
And I LOVE Dingo's take on the HG's!!! Almost Always agree!!!!

I really enjoy reading her take on each of the houseguests. It really adds personality to the site.

Dingo gives her view of what's going on with wit and and a few laughs. Always good enough for me!

Last years vids were the only way to go. This year I have Dingo and Showtime and that's it! Just knew not to get the feeds of this brain sucking group.

Besides I already raised two teenagers!

I always know that if I miss something, I can always find out what has occured when I come to Hamsterwatch. Dingo's wit always has me rolling on the floor in laughter and I am so happy to have found this site a good while back. Thank you to my friend Dingo, you make BB a better experience!!

Interesting conversation.. I too have been a fan of the site for years, long before I ever spoke with dingo.. I love the site, and love dingo's take on the hamsters... She has her opinion on what she watches and if she chooses to post that its fine, at least u get to know what happened without having to go through tons of video. I too have my on opinions as all of u do, and they dont have to be the same as dingo's to enjoy the site..

Hamsterwatch is definitely not losing it. If you don't like it, just move on to another site. 'Nuff said.

This site is my favorite Big Brother website and I'm so glad it's back for BB8! I'd be so sad without it...
