It's really gotten ugly out here in the cyber world regarding Dani.

I am shocked at the level of Daniele hate I come across on the internet. After the first few weeks, I stopped going to most of the BB sites, just because the hate was so disgusting about Dani and several of the other HGs. I dont understand the need to berate and pick this girl apart at every opportunity.

The basics of the haters goes something like this "she is a slutty, whiny, spoiled, bratty little bitch". Whatever. Fuck those haters.

Dani went into the house kind of knowing that her dad was also going to be in there. That takes guts right there just to even want to be in the same house with him, as we all have come to know what kind of person Dick is. The fact that she tried to overlook her issues with him and work with him, albeit to get a half million dollars, speaks volumes. If it was me, I would have worked to get my mother out of there asap.

Dani has proven herself to be extremely smart and articulate, she has tried to keep a level head on her shoulders regarding both Nick and her dad. Being human, she has hard a hard time keeping personal separate from game regarding those two, but who wouldnt have a hard time. She put herself out there for millions of feedsters and TV viewers to watch, so cut her a little slack.

As for the charge that she is whiny, after being stuck in the house with these people PLUS the dad you obviously dont get along with, who wouldnt be sick of being around them????

Is she spoiled? In some ways yes, in some ways no. She likes to get her way, who doesnt? She obviously has deep seeded issues with her dad, and when he is smothering her or "acting like a father", she finds it annoying. I would too. This is a man who didnt raise her, who has obviously said things to her in the past that she cannot get over, and yet he wants to act like Dad in the BB house. I can completely understand where she is coming from. When my mother (who I have volunatrily not spoken to for the last 10-12 years) comes to an event of mine, say a graduation from college, and tries to introduce herself and act like she's my mom, it pisses me off royally, because she isnt my mom. She didnt raise me, she has nothing to do with the type of person I have become, other than to be a portrait of what I dont want to be, and when she tries to act like a "mother" in front of her friends or other people, I cannot even put into words how annoying and upsetting it is. So maybe I identify with Dani too much, but the criticism by many that she is a spoiled whiny brat to her dad is not a just arguement. Not in the real world and not in the Big Brother world.

People are all entitled to their views but I really find the trashing of Dani hard to take. I have issues, there is no doubt, and I identify very closely with her. I have a very thin skin (although I can pretend to have a thick skin with the best of them), and Dani has mentioned many times that she has a thin skin. I worry for many of these people when they get out and see the outrageously hateful things people have written about them. Even people I dont really like, such as Amber, I truly worry for her mental health when she gets out and finds out what kind of a storm she is in for.

She and her dad have watched BB for years, so they know what people say about the HGs. As for her whining, she started that on DAY ONE.

If you saw her smiling face in HOH tonight, you would realize just how cunning she is.

I saw her tonite. I'm not new, I've been watching her since the beginning. she is smart as a whip. she is cunning, and in this game, that isnt a bad thing. she is a competitor. I like her, and the fact that you claim she is "cunning" does nothing to my enjoyment of her, cause she is cunning. Makes her a hell of a competitor

For everyone who gives her a break about her age (whiny, immature, etc), do you realize that she is only 2 years younger than Jen? What would Danielle's reaction have been if someone had dumped tea on her head?

Exactly. HOWEVER, if her dad was not there, she would have screamed until someone got thrown out. No way would she have let it pass like Jen did.

Or whined in the DR about how "frustrated" and "not fair" everything is..............oh wait. She does that anyway.

I dont really understand why the use of the word "cunning" is a bad thing. In the Big Brother house, that is something you need to win the game. Uh, hello, Dr Will anyone??? She is by far the best competitor in there

I dont think I am cutting her a break based on her age. I'm not even sure I mentioned it in my original post. And yes, she is just 2 years younger than Jen, I realize that. Whats your point? Yes Jen reacted very well to having a horrible guy pour tea on her head, no question. Who's to say Dani would have reacted differently? This statement really doesnt hold water for that reason.

And so what if she is whiny or immature? She has kicked ass in the house, and she has been the one bringing her dad along, not the other way around. She has kicked ass in there. Like I said, who wouldnt be bored and sick of being with these people 24/7? So I cant knock her for complaining about other HGs. Unwarranted bashing, I am not a fan of, but seriously, I cant imagine any of us would be as even tempered as we would like to think if we were surrounded with people like Dick, Dustin, Zach, Amber, and Eric all the time.

Whatever. I love her, and I hope she continues to kick ass, and I also hopes her dad leaves so she can concentrate completely on the game.

Listen, the reason Jen got alot of CREDIT is when she didn't react to anything DICK sent her way. However, don't forget how incredably DUMB Jen played when she was HOH. How she let her personal feelings of jealousy for NICK and DANI get the best of her. Dani has been cool and level headed the entire show. Yes, she whines, but at least she can idenbtify and communicate her feelings. Jen has ALOT of deep rooted problems. I doubt that Danielle would be so immature as to take anyones smokes and distroy them or attack him and then play victim...."you burned me, you burned me" as she is swatting the cigarette. OMG
