What is wrong with this guy...besides the obvious (staccato farting, burping, spitting in the kitchen sink, obsessive dishwashing, and towel gathering)? The mumbling, pacing, & chain smoking is almost tolerable compared to playing to the camera. This whacko has got to go! :p

surprisingly, he dosen't bother me that much yet! But, yeah he looks like he will be jonesing for a few things while on th show!

He has been in the house now for 6 days and seems to be going through a little withdraw... and I don't think he packed enough Ciggies for 3 months

He's pretty entertaining if you ask me.......this time of the day I'm usually watching them sleep but not today!.......today I get to watch Dick in the back yard at ohhhh...about 5:30 am his time...smoking, drinking, spewing profanity, burping, and talking to america as he golfs in the back yard.....interesting stuff.................

I agree, u need someone like Dick in there, he may seem strange at first, but he stays up all night (for now) and tells us alot of whats going on in the house in his conversations.. Plus he seems the type to me that will explode if he's crossed :)

Without Dick, it would just be a house of 20-somethings (aside from Kail) wondering what to pluck, straighten, or workout. Dick may be a bit scary & obnoxious, but he's the color :)

I really like Dick...he wasn't what I expected. The fact that he is so aware of the cameras is fun. I think he's entertaining. :)

I can't stand name droppers. To me, its a sign of low self esteem, the need to build oneself up by association with famous people. Whats worse is people like Kail who ask "Have you ever met (insert famous person)?" over and over. Name droppers do not need nor do they deserve encouragement. When someone name drops with me I either ignore it completely or say "that's nice" and change the subject.

The name dropping montage last night was annoying, to say the least. I'm glad that Daniele thinks its annoying as well. She may have earned a few respect points from me with that. Though she is still in the negative overall lol.

When they showed that clip Sunday night, it was soo hilarious. A name dropper…lol. The best part is when no one knew whom he was talking about…is he tryin’ to get kicked out? He’s like Jenn the first night:

“What’s your occupation?
“Oh, I’m a nanny, blah blah, me me, more more about me me!”

They all do their own "PR" so to speak, Dick just happens to be run the crowd that contains famous people, which gives him some names to drop. I think Dick is one of the more interesting one there.

I agree, Dick is one of the HGs I enjoy watching. He isn't afraid to stand up and tell someone what he thinks, right to their faces. He keeps it interesting.

Oh I'm not saying I don't like Dick. In fact, at this point he is my favorite HG. I just can't stand name dropping and all that comes with it. I'd be totally cool with Dick in real life as long as he kept the name drops out of it.

I thought I liked Dick, but now I'm having doubts. As much as I don't like Jen, his latest conversation with her just really grates on my nerves because I feel like it's a 44 year old trying to "one up" a 20-something girl from LA. At his age, shouldn't experience speak for itself? I dunno... I just feel like Dick is preaching to Jen about her issues to avoid his own issues... If that's what helps him get through this situation, then so be it... but he should try practicing what he preaches. He spends a lot of time talking about himself, so he has no right to say anything about Jen... I'm not a Jen fan at all, but I almost feel like if I was in the house, I'd rather be around Jen than Dick, simply because at least Jen's issues are expected... whereas, with Dick, it's like, why is a 40-something still acting like a kid? I'm sure this has something to do with why he and Daniele haven't talked to in 2 years. Daniele wants a dad, not a messed up brother.

Dick has completely screwed himself. Got HoH and got the biggest head I've ever seen. He's completely turned Amber, Nick, and his daughter against him in a matter of days. He's a lost cause.

^Amber turned on Dick last week and offered herself as a pawn to get Dick ousted. Dani...only said she trusts Dick, but not that she was "on his side". She just knows he is on hers.

Nick is pathetic chasing after Dani...who acts like a spoiled little girl. Amber seriously needs to be on meds because she seriously cries everytime someone looks at her wrong and needs constant reassurance from everyone.

This would be the most boring season ever if it weren't for Evel! He adds a whole different dimension to the show. It seems like everyone bitched the past few seasons that they wanted to see "real" people in the house, not models and people with agents...well, we pretty much have real people in there this year (boring flawed and all) so WHY gripe about them, lol?

Huh? Amber didn't hate dick last week. It's all went downhill since he's reign as HoH.

Amber may have not hated him last week...but she was certainly already talking with Dustin about getting him out.

Absolutely...you can't get any more boring than Nick, Mike and Jen....blech!!

What is up with CBS always putting those roarin' guitars in the backdrop everytime Dick appears. Dick is NOT a badass. I think he's rather bitchy and whiney and is just a complete emotional mess. He's like Joe and Amber's (artificially insemenated) annoying lovechild.

Up until this point I really liked Dick, he was my favorite...but now I feel he is just taking it to the point where it isn't fun anymore. His attacks on Jen, whenever she is around are a little much. Too much, to the point that he is overshadowing the negative aspects of her personality with his bullying attitude.

When he's not being provoked he needs to let it go. He's not coming off as "the voice of the house" like he thinks he is. If he said these things once and let it go it would be cool. He's just constantly harping on her. It's not very smart...he should realize that he is now just making everyone in the house uncomfortable.

Jen handles his attacks too well. When he dumped tea on her head she didn't even react really. I don't know if it's because she has no emotions or if she is really that strong of a person, but I love the way she handles his attacks. Even with all of her faults, she comes away from these incidents looking like the mature one. Even though I don't really like her, I almost want to feel sorry for her.

When her and Danielle were having their argument, I was really, really annoyed by Nick and Dick jumping in. Does Dani really need two watch-dog protecters from Jen? You would think she was 11 years old the way they run to her rescue. It's annoying. Why couldn't these guys leave them alone and let them have it out?

Then Nick...when Dick and Dani left...just started blasting Jen. That was really annoying as well. Jen may be annoying, self-centered and unempathetic, but I really don't think she is deserving of the way they are treating her. She didn't try to kill anyone...yet they are treating her like she eats babies for breakfast.:rolleyes:

I suspect Jen or Kail will win HOH next week, and Dick just may be going home whether they win HOH or not. He is making himself look bad and whether he realizes it or not he may be digging his own grave. At this point I really wouldn't mind seeing him leave.

Dick's behavior just may keep Jen in the game longer than him. He's making himself a target and the funny thing is he doesn't even realize what he is doing. The rest of the house may not love Jen, but none of them hate her as much as he does.

I completely agree. Dick is pushing too hard, and is taking his insults of Jen way too far. I'm at the point now, where i feel sorry for her, and would love to see him go home in a landslide vote. Just so he knows that he's not the beloved leader that he seems to think he is.

I feel like I missed a big part of this puzzle? What did she do to invoke this kind of hate? Sure she's shallow and self-centered but not deserving of the kind of punshiment he's dealing out. I didn't bother with the feeds this year. Did I miss a big part of this fight? There's lots of clips of the bashing, but nothing really showing what started it?

Anyone? Thanks.

He started off with a bang, liked how he was playing the game, but now he's simply just a total Dick. His constant semi-provoked bashing of Jen is gonna send him home, and I will cheer along with the rest of the house when he does. I bet CBS doens't even show half the stuff he's done to her. They turned the Amber Dog coversation into a bit of a joke, when in reality he chased her around the house for days to state his "Opinion"(aka. Ambers Stupid) on that one. :mad:

The guy has some serious issues, and I honestly agree with Danielle's decision not to speak to him anymore. Mind you she's a princess in her own right.

The first time he went off on her I was thinking YAY Dick...but now it's getting pathetic. Let it go already. She's not HOH, she didn't just nominate you...he's just going off on her now for being around him.

Like last night they were outside...Jenasked Jessicca if Jameka had gone to bed...and Dick said "and you will, I'm about sick of looking at your face"

She was telling him he is making everyone else uncomfortable, but what he was saying wasn't bothering her. I think there is a lot of truth in that, but he doesn't believe it.

The things he says to her are way out there. "Why are you here, no one likes you"...."your a piece of sh#*"..."horrible human being"..."I wanna see you cry in the bathroom again"..."go take a shower"..."flys gathering? close your legs"..."next week your gone"..."I'll make sure you go home next week...I promise"..."cellulite on your @ss"...and more.

Up until seeing this last night, I liked Dick. I hate how he takes his opinions and calls it "the truth". I like how Jen takes the abuse and doesn't react.

Dani made the mistake of thinking that she could control the house and who goes home as HOH. (as many of them have) She should have never swore to Kail that Kail would be safe if she was going to put her on the block. Of course, who is going to call her out for being a liar?

You know, if Dick would have stopped his intimidation thing for a week and talked to these people in a respectful manner...their plan might have worked. I guess this SHOULD BE a lesson for Dick...what is it they say? You catch more flies with honey?

What i dont get are his "standards of honesty" for everyone else in the house. has he even watched the show before? everyone lies. who in their right mind is going to say "yeah i voted them out even though i said i wouldnt" or "yeah dick, i'm in a secret alliance" WTF??? i think he knows he cant play the game the "traditional" way and he is scared of people who can (i.e. eric and dustin mainly). he went into this house knowing he wasnt the sharpest tool in the shed, so this is his only way to fight for survival.
