I have been watching - and enjoying the tasks! Amanda in the hot dog suit falling down in the diary room on last night's show was hilarious:D

Oh my gosh! I'm ADDICTED to BB UK. Chanelle and Laura up for eviction. I don't particularly care for Chanelle but I SO want Laura to go.

And how the heck did Charley not get nom'd? lol! Will be an interesting watch on Friday night! ( What am I saying, I will be watching BBUSA, yeah!)

I can't imagine how she'll keep lasting. The UK boards theorize that the housemates are afraid of her, but after what happened to her today and the fit she had, maybe they'll wise up and nominate her.

I am sorry Jonathan had to go - I liked his dry sense of humour. I had to giggle at he and Nicky in the bathroom - she really didn't want to go comfort him, but she stepped up and overcame her uneasiness!

i still don't know when & how they got guys in there - wasn't this the all-female house?

that's a twist, and then a twist on a twist - I like it :)

Over there they don't always send everyone in at the same time. They sent in 2 guys (both gay) after about 3 days. Then one girl got removed from the house for racist remarks so they didn't have an eviction that week. The following week, they sent in 4 straight guys the same night they were doing their first eviction - 3 weeks in. I really enjoy the format of BB UK more than the U.S. version, but I'll be all wrapped up in BB8 US in no time. And I already have the DVR set to record Big Brother After Dark. Woo hoo!

All I know of the UK edition is some of the YouTube stuff I have seen but out of all the clips nothing comes within a mile of being as entertainingly hilarious as the few outrageous "things I want in the house" lists that Seany laid down. Now that he is gone I don't hunt out the YouTube vidoes as much :)

YAY! I am finally a HG & can slack off on my postwhoring :p

Seany's diary rooms were ALWAYS hilarious. I was very sad to see him go. I watch all of the highlight shows courtesy of YouTube. I also watch the spin-off shows - Big Brother, Little Brother; On the Couch, and Diary Room Uncut. I'm an addict.

She has a real nasty streak. I want her gone too. The bookies at BetFair have her favored strongly as the one to go. Fingers crossed! I cannot wait for the videos to be available to see the looks on everyones faces. :D

So what do you think of America's Hamster, Joe? I think he's not going to last long. He is so high-strung and always rattling on in a teenage boy fashion. When he's not talking (which isn't often), he looks a little crazed.

Things he said during After Dark that made my heart sink:

1. Speculating how cool it would be if women's breasts expressed Gatorade, Beer, etc. so that while you were having sex with them you could get a restorative drink.

2. Everything he needed to know about life he learned from Gem and the Holograms.

Was it just me or do some of the hamsters eye him warily?

Our hamsters have it MUCH better then the UK hamsters. Their UK counterparts have no washing machine, can and do run out of food and toilet paper. hehehe, When, I think it was Carol, was dividing up the TP and Channelle had a fit about how it was sooo unhygienic in the diary room. Hilarious.

That leads me to ask the question, why does it seem our (US) hamsters, have it especially easy this year? There seems to be a clock in the house as they always know what time it is. All their luxuries were handed to them, the gym, pool and hot tub for example. And they seem to be allowed to sleep when and where ever they want this year.

Sounds like the UK hamsters are still living like the 1st year here in the US. I have noticed each year it gets easier and easier for the HGs. That 1st season was a toughie. Ran out of food, TP,etc. Many lost many pounds and I bet the american public put up a stink!

I got addicted to BBUK while waiting for BBUSA to start, now I can't give it up! I wish this week was a real eviction as they finally got that menace Charley up for eviction. Too bad she won't be gone for long, however, it will be fun to watch the fireworks after she sees the DR noms!

I, too, have become a BBUK fan.

I really like the BB1 format because they have to work so hard to be fun an entertaining all the time (especially the wake-up alarm dance)

Showmances abound, some even complained that they were not getting any. Then BB made the HouseMates play Truth or Dare.

Tempers are just flaring in this sadistic game. BB is working to make them miserable, and it is so delicious.

We started with BB UK when our English niece, no I haven't forgiven her yet lol, came to visit and we dl'd if for her. Then my husband found BB AUS and now we spend about 6 months a year watching BB.

BBUK is in it's last week now and it's been a very interesting year for them, IMNSHO. Starting with only females was genius! Allowing twins in the house, not so brilliant.

Last year we all knew who the winner would be from day one. This year, not so easy to predict. Personally I think the twins will win although Liam, Ziggy and Brian think it will defo be one of them. The addition of really old folks like Carol (and before you come at me about calling her really old she's around my age and that how I see it, over 50 is really old) I thought was great but the way she's tormented everyone and put a damper on most of the fun has been pooh. I wish someone in there would stand up to her for once and for all.

I used to like Tracey but her inability to DEAL WITH the lack of tobacco and being nominated and her overreaction to Gerry lying about his age has ensured that she like Kara - big yawn-Louise will go tonight. If you are going to spend 24/7 telling everyone to deal with it you should actually be able to deal with it yourself.

I guess Jonty is the only one who I don't have some beef with lol. How funny it would be if HE WON. That would really get some knickers in a twist!

Catch the whole series (and they must broadcast it four hours a day in the UK) by searching for 'stentionhouse' on youtube.

Yeah, they get into it. There are some Vegas lines on BBUSA, but not nearly to the extent of Paddy Power. (You might know them as the Party Poker people)

BTW, BB UK starts tomorrow.

BB9 UK is in trouble and might be cancelled: http://www.inentertainment.co.uk/20080630/big-brother-9-to-be-taken-off-the-air-before-show-ends/

that's just rumor so far (or should I say rumour), but a quick look at the headlines in Google news (http://news.google.com/news?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=DKUS,DKUS:2006-35,DKUS:en&q=big%20brother%20uk&um=1&sa=N&tab=wn) says a lot.. one guy has been kicked out for spitting at another after they all got smashed, drinking all their weekly booze allotment in one evening

Has anyone been watching BB UK this season (season 10)? I absolutely LOVE it- the format, the challenges, actually hearing what BB is asking them in Diary, no HOH, interesting HG's (how 'bout that Angel for an interesting character?), no scripted storylines and ridiculous editing, super fun tasks and assignments, lots of booze, HG's can sing their little hearts out, BB doesn't care...it's like my BB wishlist fulfilled :D This is the first time I've watched a non-US BB and I really don't know if I can go back...

the other countries really do it better huh?

are you seeing feeds? I thought they'd cut those off or made them UK-only, or something (I think you sent me a twitter about BB UK? which I didn't respond to - sorry! - so am answering here)

I've not been following it at all, but I think I did hear that they'd confirmed BB11 for next year, so the franchise just keeps going

No feeds for me, although I believe they have them. I think they've cut down the live feed time from 24 hours to only 7 hours a day or something...so that's definitely an area where the US is better. I've just been watching the daily episodes, which are very feeds-like...much moreso than the US air show. Obviously they're very edited down, but feel much more organic. No ridiculous music (ie// Jameka's church music) for one thing. And the fact that swearing and nudity aren't bleeped/blurred is for sure another!

Yes! That was my tweet. Thanks for following me! ;)
