I've never been clear on this.

If a hamster wins the POV they can obviously use it or not.

Does it also give the hamster immunity from being a replacement nominee if they do use it to remove someone off the block? Or could the HOH say, "OK you screwed me, I now choose you."?

Yes, the POV winner (whether they use it or not) is immune from nomination. :)
