I am not sure where I saw it, but I saw a post on another message board somewhere stating that CBS is moving the Wednesday broadcast to Thursday nights? Does anyone know if this is true? Supposedly it is due to ratings and having to wait too long between Wed-Sun. Just curious if anyone else heard this and when it is supposed to happen (if it is)???

Geesh ~ why do all of the networks have pack everything in on Thursday nights? Don't they realize that people watch TV other nights as well. They just moved Flashpoint to Thursday night as well and I had to rearrange my records. Can't they just leave well enough alone?

I think they're trying to boost their Wednesday night ratings. Apparently, this dog reality show thing is kicking ass in the ratings, and so they moved it to Wednesday to try to salvage their Wed. night rerun schedule.

I went over to the CBS site to check out the fall line up and decided to take a peek at the BB stuff. Stoopid question ~ but why don't they shade the hamsters pictures on the CBS website when they are evicted anymore? They used to label who was HOH, who was on the block and who held the veto. Are they just getting lazy? Just one of those things I wondered about ~ don't know why as I this is really the only BB site I frequent. Just curious if anyone knew.

I also noticed they have a poll asking who your favorite hamster is? Could they be looking for input to use their magic powers of suggestion on who should stay? What I am thinking, of course not!! This is a reality program - they would NEVER try to influence the hamsters...Would they??? (insert sarcasm :p)

It is a sad day for television when Greatest American Dog is doing that well in ratings. I watched one episode. It's crap. For God's sake, they have a competition each week to determine who gets to sleep in the "Dog Suite" and who gets put in the doghouse. Sound oddly familiar?

I have never seen that show but I am going to assume that it's pretty silly.

Thank God for Mad Men and Generation Kill.

I saw one too and was amazed at the BB-ness of it, to the point of looking up who was behind it.. turns out the producer has some serious documentary and reality credibility (oxymoron alert, I know).. I figured he figured it was time he earn a nice big paycheck

I don't know if it's taped RT or if it's long over, but my first thought was the doggies would show up here, and our hamsters would have to teach them a new trick for a comp.. that'd be a nice cross-promo opp (and would actually make a fun comp!)

There wouldn't happen to be an Akita there big enough to eat Jessie, would there?:p

the only one I remember clearly was a little 4-legged furry rooster thingy.. I think there was a Rottweiler tho - that'd work ;)

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I almost mentioned the exact thing you said above in one of my earlier posts. I got another for you "Farmer Wants A Wife" ~ seriously???? I though that the apocalypse was surely on the horizon!! Farmer wants a wife? The best part of was when I found out my BF was watching and was amused with it. Her only defense was there was nothing else on b/c of the writers strike.

I would rather watch re-runs of anything before watching the new reality crap that it being put out there just to fill space. Please don't get me wrong - I do watch my fair share of reality - but it needs to have a game component or be about someone I like/have a plot of some sorts - I guess really be about something, for lack of a better way of saying it......

That would probably be quite fun to watch.
Here's my version.

All of the houseguests are THRILLED to have something to do and look forward to working with the dogs. This is not the case for Libra. She starts freaking out, running around the house and bitching to everyone she can find, that she HATES DOGS!!!!! They slobber, smell bad and they are too noisy. The slobber makes her itchy, she has slight allergies, she is afraid her dog will poop and she will have to clean it. What if the dog pees on her? Then she fears that if she doesn't win the comp she will have to eat slop out of a dog bowl (which will be located on the floor) for the rest of the season. And then the cycle will begin again with the next set of ears, until EVERYONE hears every bitch, moan and whine. Meanwhile she is pissing everyone in the house off with her incesante bitching, complaining and crying, so they band together and decide to get here the hell out of the house.

When the day comes for the comp it is Libra's worst night mare. She is given a bulldog to work with and he is slobbering all over her. Every time she gives the dog a command, the dog looks at her blankly. She tries to pull and tug the dog around to try and get it to do ....SOMETHING. Well the dog thinks this is fun and dart off at full speed, while an unsuspecting Libra (holding the leash) violently thrusts forward, falls to the ground on her face, and the dog drags her through the whole backyard, destroying props with Libra's head until finally dumping her into the pool. She submerges with tree branches and shrubbery in her hair, he clothes are tattered, and she finds a big smear of dog shit from her neck all the way down her pants, from the poop that she refused to pick up ~ which brings up her fury. She is soaking wet, dirty, smelly and still picking cardboard prop pieces out of her hair and pants. She finds she has lost the competition and goes to take a shower. When she comes out she goes from person to person complaining how it's unfair and can not eat slop for the rest of her time here, that it is beneath her to eat off the floor and how the can not make her do it. BB gave a her a bad dog and it was unfair, WAH, WAH, WAH.......

She complains to everyone and then starts over. By now the hamsters are bleeding from their ears, so the WHOLE house bands together and decides she had to go, even though it would have been fun to watch her eat slop from a dog bowl on the floor.

Libra VS (anyone) on the block
Bye Bye Libra with a 7-0 vote!!!!

I'd pay admission.....one can only hope. :p
